In this paper we examined a novel extension of the convergence empirics for the maritime business cycle which considers structure breaks and/or changes. To provide theoretical justification, the convergence hypothesis uses the relaxed assumption to technology shocks. Based on the recent empirical results provided by Kim and Chang (2020), we consider nonlinear dynamics that capture the properties on structural changes in the equilibrium adjustment process. This approach bridges the gap between the theoretical framework and empirical specifications. In particular, we applied the convergence hypothesis to the multiple structure change model for the maritime business cycle. Our application to the maritime data showed support of the convergence hypothesis allowing multiple structure changes during the high volatile period and offers additional insight into the forecasting maritime business cycles.

The purpose of this study was to delve into the features of paradigm in conjunction with changing convergence culture in the 21st century's knowledge-based society, the influence of convergence paradigm on fashion, and changes in convergence culture. After identifying the features of the paradigm of knowledge-based society in association with changing convergence culture, the characteristics of fashion paradigm were examined in con=junction with the characteristics of the paradigm, and the convergence phenomena of modern fashion were investigated to figure out fashion trends. The findings of the study were as follows: According to the features of ubiquitous technology based on the theories of Mark Weiser and other futurologists, the characteristics of changing convergence culture in knowledge-based society could be classified into invisibility, relationship and materialized virtuality. When relevant theories were reviewed, invisibility, relationship and materialized virtuality are identified as the unique features of the paradigm of changing convergence culture in knowledge-based society. But those characteristics aren't separate concepts. Instead, they are being connected and fused together, thanks to universalized digital technology and ubiquitous technology. Changing convergence culture has brought a change to fashion paradigm as well. There is a type of design that lets all the characteristics stand out, and another design fuses just some of them together conceptually or formally. That is, fashion paradigm is marked by a combination of invisibility, relationship and an embodiment of virtual reality to be in line with changes in convergence culture.

Recently, research on flexible sensors for personal health management has been gaining attention. In this study, we fabricated a crack-based flexible sensor in thin film form to measure the pulse on the wrist. We evaluated the characteristics of the sensor based on the curing conditions of the PDMS (Polydimethylsiloxane) film to optimize the sensor's gauge factor. The modulus of PDMS varies depending on the curing conditions. In this case, the modulus of PDMS has a significant influence on crack formation, leading to changes in the sensitivity of the sensor. This study examined the changes in the gauge factor associated with these variations.

The purpose of this study was to understand the meaning of menopausal age experienced by middle-aged men and to understand the nature of menopause perceive. Data were collected using the qualitative research method and Colaizzi's method was used to analyze. The results of the study showed that six categories and 19 themes and 44 themes of Physical changes, Psychological changes, Changes of work performance, Positive changes, Climacteric perception, Overcoming menopause The results of this study are expected to use basic data for the development and application of nursing intervention program from a future perspective.

This study aims to analyze policy changes over time by conducting a textual analysis of the basic plan for activating convergence research and development. By examining the basic plan for convergence research development, this study looks into changes in convergence research policies and suggests future directions, thereby exploring strategic approaches that can contribute to the advancement of science and technology and societal development in our country. In particular, it sought to understand the policy changes proposed by the basic plan by identifying the relevance and trends of topics over time. Various analytical methods such as TF-IDF analysis, topic modeling (LDA), and network (CONCOR) analysis were used to identify the key topics of each period and grasp the trends in policy changes. The analysis revealed clustering of topics by period and changes in topics, providing directions for the convergence research ecosystem and addressing pressing issues. The results of this study are expected to provide important insights to various stakeholders such as governments, businesses, academia, and research institutions, offering new insights into the changes in policies proposed by previous basic plans from a macroscopic perspective.

Recently, to improve the effectiveness of education to learn from textbooks, immersive 3D environments such as virtual reality(VR) has been widely used for education. In this paper, in order to intuitively present education about content scenarios on changes in the human body according to food intake, we consist an immersive virtual reality environment to express the same life-size organs. The participants in our educational system showed higher results in all items compared to the existing textbook-based education such as immersion, understanding, and quality of education program. Also it was found the importance of interactivity to increase the effectiveness of immersive class.

This paper is to research on the characteristics of the recipient furniture design that requires changes reflected in the contemporary socio-cultural factors in the convergence culture, as represented by the digital and IT. The purpose of this study is, as specific methods therefore, to research in both perspectives the design of the after industrial revolution of functionalism and the case of the Memphis group which is expressed the appearance of diverse social atmosphere of the 20th century. Based on this, it will illuminate the appearance of the furniture designs recipient requires changes in universal modern society of values of complex convergence. To reveal that sociocultural factors that accept values of society are important in predicting the future of furniture design is the object of this study. It recognizes that a key element of modern furniture design will be based on a broad and deep study.

The phase transition temperatures of CsCoCl₃·2H₂O crystals are investigated via differential scanning calorimetry (DSC) and thermogravimetric analysis (TGA). Three endothermic peaks at temperatures of 370 K (=T_C1), 390 K (=T_C2), and 416 K (=T_C3) were observed for phase transitions from CsCoCl₃·2H₂O to CsCoCl₃·1.5H₂O, to CsCoCl₃·H₂O, and then to CsCoCl₃·0.5H₂O, respectively. In addition, the spin-lattice relaxation time T_1ρ in the rotating frame and T₁ in the laboratory frame as well as changes in chemical shifts for ¹H and ¹³³Cs near T_C1 were found to be temperature dependent. Our analyses results indicated that the changes of chemical shifts, T_1ρ, and T₁ are associated with structural phase transitions near temperature T_C1. The changes of chemical shifts, T_1ρ, and T₁ near T_C1 were associated with structural phase transitions, owing to the changes in the symmetry of the structure formed of H₂O and Cs⁺ ions. Consequently, the structural symmetry in CsCoCl₃·2H₂O crystals based on temperature is discussed by the environments of their H and Cs nuclei.

In the Fourth Industrial Revolution era, with its accelerating radical changes and innovation, fashion is rapidly advancing to sustain social changes introduced by technological convergence. In light of this, the study investigates the social and cultural characteristics of technologizing fashion products: creative modifications emerge from technological convergence with fashion products and result in a realm separate from technology. By focusing on the nature of fashion, this study analyzes the technologization of fashion products for added value creation in the fashion system. Based on the findings, it interprets different attitudes toward technologizing that changes fashion products. Accordingly, this study reviews previous literature and qualitatively examines empirical cases based on inductive reasoning. In particular, it analyzes commercialized cases of fashion-technology convergence in fashion products found on online fashion media outlets between January 2007 and May 2021, a central period in intellectual and technological innovation. The characteristics of technologized fashion products are identified as follows: expansion of physical functions and categories, interaction with emotional sensibilities, artistry through combination with technologies, and computer-generated imagery(CGI) fashion as digital goods. Therefore, this study analyzes the characteristics of technologization, focusing on the social and cultural properties of fashion products. The findings provide opportunities to understand the paradigm shift of these products that was catalyzed by technologizing.

This paper investigates the performance consequence of strategic changes when firms move closer to or further away from other firms in the industry. The study suggests a theoretical framework and hypotheses on the effect of strategic convergence and divergence on performance, and tests hypotheses with firm-level longitudinal data on the U.S. food processing industry during the period of 1985-2000. The study shows that strategic divergence is negatively related to performance, and that organizational size and firm-specific uncertainty significantly influence the effect of strategic convergence and divergence on financial performance. Particularly, high uncertainty seems to be conducive to financial performance improvement for organizations undergoing significant strategic changes converging toward other competitors. On the other hand, big organizational size seems to be beneficial for finns implementing strategic changesdiverging from other competitors.
