공업용 냉각수의 문제점과 처리법 (Problems and Control Measures of Industrial Cooling Water)

  • Trouble-free operation of cooling water systems is essential for efficient pro¬duction in most industrial facilities. Improper water treatments frequently cause such problems as corrosion, scaling, fouling and slime formation. Water quality, methods of cooling and materials of construction in the cooling circuit should be carefully studied before making selection of the water treatment programs. This paper reviewed cooling water problems encountered frequently in the open recirculating cooling systems and discussed the counter measures how to cope with them.

  • Recently, Cooling tower are used the necessary element in a residential area and living space on the viewpoint of indoor temperature control. The purpose of this study is to assistance the comfortable environment and economical measures of noise transmission mechanism on tile cooling tower. The results show that noise evaluation interact the main factor of distance reduction and diffraction reduction. Noise criterion apply to the NC level and equivalent transmission loss about already the design of noise reduction.

병원감염관리에 대한 문헌적 고찰 (A Study of Literature of the Hospital Infection Control.)

  • Today, although hospital infectious diseases are readily diagnosed, are treatable and preventable, many of these continues to be a major health problem in the developing countries, as well as the advanced nations. In the advanced countries efforts for hospital infection control has been presented but in Korea. The importance of being knowledgeble concerning hospital infection control is not much recognized yet. Presently in Korea good quality of care and services in the hospital is a main issue of discussion, therefore the subject of hospital infection control can't be over emphasized. Hospital infection control measures ranged from almost non existent to none when the pathogen transmission were not fully understood. As the knowledge of the transmission and contraction of the diseases expanded, newer and more effective procedures evolved. To be vital it is required to have good system for hospital infection control and inspection, rules and regulations and many numbers of persons with dedication. The strategy has been applied for hospital infection control standards as outlined by the centers for disease control and prevention(CDC). The hospital infection control committee is the factor to be well managed. Especially nurses are the important part of any hospital infection control program because they are the one who makes function properly. It is also required the responsibility of every employer who has employees who are exposed to blood, blood products or other potentially hospital infectious materials. Laws enacted by agencies of the federal government but the emphasis, and the demands for initiating and maintaining these control measures should be practiced on a routine and daily basis. The forgoing facts and requirements will assist us in assuring our hospital infection control program is successful.

황폐산지(荒廢山地)의 속성녹화공법개발(速成綠化工法開發)에 관(關)한 연구(硏究) (Studies on the Development of Accelerating Measures of Establishment of Vegetation on Bare Slopes)

  • 사면나지(斜面裸地)를 속(速)히 녹화(綠化) 보호(保護) 안정(安定)시킬 수 있는 효과적(効果的)인 속성녹화공법(速成綠化工法)을 개발(開發)하고저 녹화종자(綠化種子)의 파종(播種)과 지표피복(地表被覆)을 위주(爲主)로 하는 6개(個) 녹화공법(綠化工法)의 사방효과(砂防効果) 즉(卽) 유수유토(流水流土)의 유출방지효과(流出防止効果), 식피조성효과(植被造成効果), 그리고 시공성(施工性) 및 경관적(景觀的) 효과등(効果等)에 관(關)한 시험(試驗)을 한 결과(結果)는 다음과 같이 요약(要約)될수 있다. 본(本) 시험(試驗)은 1974년(年) 5월(月)부터 11월(月)까지 7개월간(個月間)에 인공성토사면(人工盛土斜面)(1:1.2) 조사토(粗砂土)에서 수행(遂行)되었으며 1시험구(試驗區)의 크기는 사면적(斜面的) $1.6m^2$(폭(幅) 1m, 사면장(斜面長) 1.6m)이었다. 1. 토사유실량(土砂流失量)에 있어서는 각(各) 처리간(處理間)에 모두 유의성(有意性)이 인정(認定)되었다. 2. 지표유법수(地表流法水)의 유출율(流出率)에 있어서는 처리(處理) III과 처리(處理)VI간(間)을 제외(除外)하고 다른 각(各) 처리간(處理間)에 유의성(有意性)이 인정(認定)되었다. 3. 유수유토방지(流水流土防止) 및 식피조성면(植被造成面)에서 처리(處理) II 및 처리(處理)IV구(區)의 시공(施工)이 다같이 효과적(効果的)인 녹화공법(綠化工法)이라고 볼 수 있다. 그러나 시공성(施工性)과 경관적(景觀的) 효과(効果)를 배려(配慮)할 때에는 처리(處理)II공법(工法)은 황폐산지사면(荒廢山地斜面)의 속성녹화공법(速成綠化工法)으로서 적절(適切)하며 처리(處理)IV공법(工法) 노변(路邊)과 같은 인공사면(人工斜面)의 속성녹화공법(速成綠化工法)으로서 보다 효과적(効果的)일 것으로 생각된다.

병원의 표준 혈액재고량 산출식 개발 (Development of the Standard Blood Inventory Level Decision Rule in Hospitals)

  • Two major issues of the blood bank management are quality assurance and inventory control. Recently, in Korea blood donation has gained popularity increasingly to allow considerable improvement of the quality assurance with respect to blood collection, transportation, storage, component preparation skills and hematological tests. Nevertheless the inventory control, the other issue of blood bank management, has been neglected so far. For the supply of blood by donation barely meets the demand, the blood bank policy on the inventory control has been 'the more the better.' The shortage itself by no means unnecessitate inventory control. In fact, in spite of shortage, no small amount of blood is outdated. The efficient blood inventory control makes it possible to economize the blood usage in the practice of state-of-the-art medical care. For the efficient blood inventory control in Korean hospitals, this tudy is to develop formulae forecasting the standard blood inventory level and suggest a set of policies improving the blood inventory control. For this study informations of $A^+$ whole bloods and packed cells inventory control were collected from a University Hospital and the Central Blood Bank of the Korean Red Cross. Using this informations, 1,461 daily blood inventory records were formulated.48 varieties of blood inventory control environment were identified on the basis of selected combinations of 4 inventory control variables-crossmatch, transfusion, inhospital donation and age of bloods from external supply. In order to decide the optimal blood inventory level for each environment, simulation models were designed to calculate the measures of performance of each environment. After the decision of 48 optimal blood inventory levels, stepwise multiple regression analysis was started where the independent variables were 4 inventory control variables and the dependent variable was optimal inventory level of each environment. Finally the standard blood inventory level decision rule was developed using the backward elimination procedure to select the best regression equation. And the effective alternatives of the issuing policy and crossmatch release period were suggested according to the measures of performance under the condition of the standard blood inventory level. The results of this study' were as follows ; 1. The formulae to calculate the standard blood inventory level($S^*$)was $S^*=2.8617X(d)^{0.9342}$ where d is the mean daily crossmatch(demand) for a blood type. 2. The measures of performace - outdate rate, average period of storage, mean age of transfused bloods, and mean daily available inventory level - were improved after maintenance of the standard inventory level in comparison with the present system. 3. Issuing policy of First In-First Out(FIFO) decreased the outdate rate, while Last In-First Out(LIFO) decreased the mean age of transfused bloods. The decrease of the crossmatch release period reduced the outdate rate and the mean age of transfused bloods.

중성자, 감마선, 엑스선 방사선 측정 및 통합 제어 시스템 개발 (Development of Neutron, Gamma ray, X-ray Radiation Measurement and Integrated Control System)

  • 본 논문에서는 중성자, 감마선, 엑스선 등의 방사선을 측정하는 통합 제어 시스템을 제안한다. 제안하는 시스템은 원격 또는 네트워크상으로 측정 및 분석한 데이터를 디스플레이를 통해 모니터링 및 제어할 수 있는 장비로서, 현장에 가지 않고도 시스템 각 구성 부분의 상태를 보고 변경하여 원격으로 감시 및 관리할 수 있다. 제안하는 시스템은 감마선/엑스선 센서부, 중성자 센서부, 주제어 임베디드 시스템부, 전용 디스플레이 장치 및 GUI부, 원격 UI부 등으로 구성된다. 감마선/엑스선 센서부는 NaI(Tl) Scintillation Detector를 사용하여 저준위의 감마선 및 엑스선을 측정한다. 중성자 센서부는 Proportional Counter Detector(저준위 중성자)와 Ion Chamber Type Detector(고준위 중성자)를 사용하여 중성자를 측정한다. 주제어 임베디드 시스템부는 방사선을 검출하여 초단위로 샘플링하고 누적된 펄스 및 전류값에 대한 방사선량으로 변환한다. 전용 디스플레이 장치 및 GUI부는 방사선 측정 결과와 변환된 방사선량 및 방사능량 측정 수치를 출력하고, 사용자에게 제어 조건 설정 및 검출부에 대한 캘리브레이션 기능을 제공한다. 원격 UI부는 측정된 값들을 취합, 저장하여 원격 감시 시스템에 전달한다. 제안된 시스템의 성능을 평가하기 위하여 공인시험기관에서 실험한 결과는 중성자 검출부는 ${\pm}8.2%$ 이하의 측정 불확도가 측정되었고, 감마선, 엑스선 검출부는 7.5%이하의 불확도가 측정되어 국제 표준인 ${\pm}15%$ 이하에서 정상동작 됨이 확인되었다.

여성 노인 대상 기능성게임 기반 신체활동 프로그램의 효과 (Effects of a Physical Activity Program using Exergame with Elderly Women)

  • Purpose: This study was done to investigate the motivational, physical and affective benefits of exergaming in community dwelling older adult women. Methods: The research design was a nonequivalent control group pre-test and post-test design. Sixty-one older adult women over the age of 65 were recruited from 6 community senior centers to participate in the 8 week exercise intervention or control group. Six centers were divided into one of three groups: exergame, qigong exercise, or control. The exergame and the qigong exercise group received 16 sessions, scheduled twice a week, with each session lasting 50 minutes. Test measures were completed before and after the 8 week intervention period for all participants. Measures included: Grip strength, chair stand, 6 m walking, balance, geriatric depression scale, vitality and intrinsic motivation. Results: There were significant improvements in the exergame and qigong exercise group for grip strength, chair stand, 6m walking, balance, vitality and intrinsic motivation at the end the 8-week program compared with the control group. Conclusion: The exergame could be an effective alternative for older adult women to group exercise classes.

향 요법 복부 경락마사지가 뇌성마비 아동의 변비완화에 미치는 효과 (Effects of Abdominal Meridian Massage with Aroma Oils on Relief of Constipation in Institutionalized Children with Cerebral Palsy)

  • Purpose: To evaluate the effects of abdominal meridian massage either with the use of aroma oils or without using the oils for the relief of constipation in institutionalized children with cerebral palsy. Method: Using a nonequivalent control group pretest-posttest design, 40 children were randomly assigned to experimental (n=21) and control (n=19) groups. The experimental group received abdominal meridian massage with mixture of aroma oils, and the control group received abdominal meridian massage only. Prior to the intervention, baseline data were collected, and then abdominal meridian massage with or without aroma oils were given to both groups every morning for 15 minutes a day, six days a week, for 2 weeks. Outcome measures were number of bowel movements, amount of stool (gm), and frequency of laxatives, suppositories or enema. Using SPSS/Win 12.0 program, data were analyzed by $X^2$ test, t-test, and repeated measures ANOVA. Results: Children in the experimental group defecated a larger volume of stool, and used fewer laxatives than those in the control group. The treatment effects lasted for 1 week after treatment. Conclusion: Abdominal meridian massage with aroma oils appears to be an effective adjunct maneuver in relieving constipation among institutionalized children with cerebral palsy.

집단미술치료가 암병동 간호사의 직무스트레스와 소진에 미치는 효과 (The Effects of a Group Art Therapy on Job Stress and Burnout among Clinical Nurses in Oncology Units)

  • Purpose: The purpose of this study was to evaluate the effects of a group art therapy on decreasing job stress and burnout of clinical oncology nurses. Methods: The study was conducted using a non-equivalent control group, non-synchronized design with repeated measures. A total of 29 clinical oncology nurses participated in the study; 15 were assigned in the experimental group, and 14 in the control group. Data were collected from May to July, 2014. The study questionnaires were administered in three different time points (pretest, 8th week, and 12th week). Data were analyzed using $x^2-test$, Fisher's exact test, t-test, paired t-test, and repeated measures ANOVA. Results: The first hypothesis "the experimental group with group art therapy will have lower job stress than that of the control group" was support (F=7.88, p=.003). The second hypothesis, "the experimental group will have lower burnout than that of the control group" was not statistically supported (F=1.80, p=.188). Conclusion: The findings of the study indicated that the group art therapy for oncology nurses may positively influence in decreasing job stress, which open a venue for developing a nursing intervention with group art therapy for clinical nurses in future.

기존 전산 프로그램 연계에 의한 신뢰도 제어 운전 지원을 위한 전문가시스템 (An Expert System for Operational Aids of Security Control by Incorporation with Conventional Program Packages)

  • The security control can be defined as all control actions and counter-measures to return the operating state of the system to a normal state. In an emergency state, fault clearing and/or overload suppression is enabled as a security control in order to prevent the extension of the fault. In the alert state, counter-measures should be set up in advance for the dangerous points of the system operation in drder to protect the system from expected accidents. In the normal state, the routine scenario is conducted to analyze system state. In the decision-making of the classification of system states, the heuristic and experienced knowledge can be well applied and thus application of expert system to this area attains considerable achievements. In this study, it is attempted to extract empirical rules through heuristic analysis and establish the knowledge base. Finally, the incorporation method with the conventional program packages in proposed. The expert system is designed to select an appropriate method and to perform the corresponding package. The input data can be automatically set up by using the data base. The computation results can be automatically added to the data base.
