신선식품 콜드체인 EPS 패키징 시스템의 택배 유통환경 계측 (Measurement of Delivery Service Environment for Cold Chain EPS Packaging System of Fresh Food)

  • The food cold chain refers to a technology and distribution supply chain applied to maintain a constant temperature suitable for the product from production (harvest) to delivery to consumers. In particular, in Korea, the insulation material used in the food cold chain is mostly EPS (Expanded Polystyrene), which is used as a transport container for various food cold chains. However, according to the government's eco-friendly policy, companies charge environmental contributions to the use of EPS, but due to its low price and convenience of handling, it is still used as a container for delivering food. In this study, in order to measure the domestic delivery environment of general refrigerated foods, changes in impact, temperature, and humidity during transport of the EPS packaging system containing foods and ice pack refrigerants were measured. As a result, there were 2?3 sections in which a high impact force of 40 G or more was generated during transport. This can cause damage to the product and EPS container. The difference in temperature and humidity changes by parcel transport routes is more than 30%, so it is necessary to present accurate standards for the domestic cold chain distribution environment. As a result of microbial experiments. the transportation period had a dominant effect on the increase in total viable count and E. coli count.

  • 군산항 물류 기 종점(O/D) 분석결과 군산항 컨테이너화물 유치를 위해 단기적인 방법으로서 내륙운송비절감으로 경쟁력이 있는 전북권 및 충청권의 최적권역 물동량을 확보하고, 대외적으로는 현재 군산항에서 가장 많은 화물을 처리하는 인근 중국 항만과의 교류활성화를 통하여 컨테이너화물을 유치해야 한다. 이를 위해 당장 시급한 것은 수요자들이 군산항을 이용하고자 하는데 느끼는 불편사항을 파악하여 개선함으로서 고객만족서비스를 제공하는 일이다. 이에 따라 본 연구는 군산항을 이용하고 있고 이용을 고려하고 있는 화주와 선사 그리고 물류업체들을 대상으로 실태조사를 실시하여 애로요인을 파악하였다. 실태조사에 나타난 군산항의 가장 큰 문제는 수심을 확보하여 정기선사들이 입.출항하는데 걸림돌이 없도록 하여야 하며, 항만운영, 항만관련제도정비, 항만인프라 등을 개선하여야 한다. 위와 같은 사항이 개선되어 군산항에 컨테이너화물 유치가 활발히 이루어지면 정기선사들이 기항하게 될 것이고, 신규항로가 개설되어 적기에 선적하게 되면 물류비절감에 따라 화주들은 군산항을 이용하게 되어 경쟁력이 확보될 것이다.

  • This study was carried out to analyze the effect of machinery house location on the stability of high efficiency gantry crane which can improve the productivity of the container transportation wok by reducing cycle time. The wind load was evaluated according to 'Load Criteria of Building Structures' enacted by the ministry of construction & transportation. The uplift forces of high efficiency gantry crane under this wind load were calculated by analyzing reaction forces at each supporting point. And variation of reaction forces at each supporting point was analyzed according to machinery house location.

  • Containerization of cargo transportation has been norm in the word wide maritime services, but containerized trades are typically unbalanced in terms of the number of inbound and outbound containers. Therefore it is critical for shipping companies to find operating policy such as the repositioning of empty containers or replenishing of short-term leasing containers from leasing companies to satisfy the freighter's demands of containers. This paper develops a simulation model using ARENA to establish shipping company's operational policy to relocate and replenish empty containers. Furthermore, this study proposes simple and heuristic empty container repositioning rules to minimize the relevant cost in terms of leasing, repositioning, and inventory holding costs.

중국효과와 항만통상정책 (China Effect and Ports Commerce Policy)

  • China has increased 10 percent every year since 1978. In particular, development and growth of Chinese ports make a remarkable in that the marine and coastal transportation handles the 90 percent of export-import cargo. This growth is beginning to threaten Korea's ports which are striving to become the hub of Northeast Asia logistics. Furthermore, the hub strategy of Northeast Asia is closely related to transshipment cargo invitation. The results of documents research indicate Busan and Gwangyang ports play an important role as an intermediate stopover between China and America. The ways to achieve transshipment cargo invitation are the construction of transshipment system based on the supply chain between korea and china, the maximization of trading volumes creation, equipment of ports infrastructure, and the constructions of the rail, road, coastal transportation infrastructures.

  • Fruits are subjected to complex dynamic stresses in the transportation environment. During a long journey form the production area to markets, there is always some degree of vibration present. Vibration inputs are transmitted from the vehicle through the packaging to the fruit. Inside, these cause sustained bouncing of fruits against each other and container wall. These steady state vibration input may cause serious fruit injury, and this damage is particularly severe whenever the fruit inside the package is free to bounce, and is vibrated at its resonant frequency. The determination of the resonant frequencies of the fruit may help the packaging designer to determine the proper packaging system providing adequate protection for the fruit, and to understand the complex interaction between the components of fruit when they relate to expected transportation vibration inputs.   • 항만구역에 있는 철도시설 중에서 비교적 규모화 된 항만철송장은 현재 부산항지역과 광양항지역에 배치되어 있다. 항만철송장은 철도물류의 시종 역할을 하는 주요한 기능이나 현재는 선로 배선 규모, 하치장 면적 등에 있어서 철도의 특성을 반영하지 못하여 비교적 활성화 되지 못한 상황이다. 또한, 활성화 되어 있더라도 이미 처리용량이 포화상태에 이르러 더 이상 철도수송물량을 증대하기는 어려운 상황으로 철도컨테이너 수송사업 활성화를 위해선 근본적으로 항만철송장 시설규모에 대한 재산정이 매우 필요한 상황이다. 본 연구에서는 이러한 철송장의 시설배치 상 문제점 해결을 위해서 최근 개장한 부산신항의 철송장을 중심으로 문제점을 분석하고 해결할 수 있는 방안에 대해 살펴보았다.

방사성페기물 핵종분석 결과를 사용한 폐수지의 운반물등급 분류 방법 (Method for Determining Transportation Grade for HIC Containing Spent Resin Using Radioactivity Analysis)

  • 고밀도폴리 에틸렌 고건전성용기에 담은 폐수지의 운반을 위해 원전 폐수지의 방사능 분석결과를 사용하여 운반물 등급 분류방법을 도출하였다. 원전 폐수지의 방사능 분석결과로부터 폐수지 내 핵종 존재비를 구하였고, 폐수지의 표면선량률로 핵종재고량을 평가하기 위해 MCNP 코드로 방사능대선량 환산인자를 모사하였다. 이로부터 고밀도폴리에틸렌 고건전성용기에 담은 폐수지에 대한 A형 운반물과 B형 운반물의 경계값은 1.19 TBq 이고 이를 표면선량으로 환산한 결과는 124.2 mSv/h임을 알 수 있었다.

Ethylene Production of Packaged Apples under Vibration Stress in Simulated Transportation Environment

  • Fruits are subjected to a variety of vibration stress during the transportation from a production area to markets. Vibration inputs are transmitted from the transporting vehicle through the packaged fruit. And the steady state vibration input may cause serious internal damage of fruit. Product quality of fruits declines by various factors while they are stored right after harvesting and among the substance in charge of post ripening action, ethylene ($C_2H_4$) biosynthesis increases fruits' respiration process after harvesting and decreases storage expectancy. Ethylene production of apples rapidly increases while storage duration becomes longer. This tendency is much clearer for the apples with vibration stress at input acceleration level. When there was no vibration stress, change in ethylene production level of apples are not very large during storage. Ethylene production rates inside the gas collecting container increased significantly ($p{\leq}0.05$) after 24 hours storage, particularly for apples with vibration stress ($0.7{\mu}l/kg{\cdot}hr$ (1st stack), $0.78{\mu}l/kg{\cdot}hr$ (2nd stack), $0.96{\mu}l/kg{\cdot}hr$ (3rd stack)); whereas less ethylene was produced in control apples ($0.18{\mu}l/kg{\cdot}hr$ during storage. Also ethylene production rates of apples according to the stack position were significantly different ($p{\leq}0.05$). The vibration stress clearly accelerated the degradation of apple quality during storage, resulting in increased ethylene production.
