The author reviewed seventy papers on social psychology of clothing and fashion marketing fields, which were published in the Journal of the Korean Society of Clothing and Textiles between 1983 and 1996. The market variables and consumer behavior variables were focused on. This review showed that the market variables had been divided into three groups of variables: 1) product variables (product image and product classification): 2) brand variables (brand image and brand positioning): and 3) store variables (store image, store type, and distribution system) Consumer behavior variables have been studied on the basis of EBM Consumer Behavior Model: 1) purchasing motivation as need recognition: 2) information using as search information: 3) evaluation criteria and choice criteria as alternative evaluatioin : 4) clothing purchase, brand choice and store choice as purchase: 5) degree of wear, satisfaction and dissatisfaction as outcome: and 6) clothing discard. Variables that influence on consumer behavior, including situation variables, clothing attitude variables, personal . social variables were added to develop a variable model of clothing consumer behavior using the EBM Consumer Behavior Model.

The visual environment of the store is a very important factor to attract consumers into the store and make consumers purchase products. Therefore retailers should have concerns about store environments to differentiate their stores from other stores. Thus this study focused on visual environment of the store influencing consumer behavior. The concrete purpose of this study was to identify preferences of store environments and store types by consumer traits. First, the store choice criteria factors were examined and through the cluster analysis, several consumer groups were constructed. And then the visual environment factors of the store that consumers perceived important were identified and the visual environment factors of the store preferred by consumer groups were examined. Finally, store types preferred by consumer groups were examined. The findings of this study can assist store designers and retailers to set up a store environment or visual marketing strategies.
The purpose of this study was to investigate the The effect of fashion consumer's need for uniqueness in their clothing purchase behavior and switching intention. A total of 332 cases were included as the subjects of this study and a survey method was used. The data were analyzed by factor analysis, reliability analysis, t-test and multiple regression analysis using the SPSS 22.0 statistical program. The results were as follows. 1. The 3 dimensions (creative choice, unpopular choice, and avoidance of similarity) were extracted from the consumer's need for uniqueness and consumer divided high uniqueness group, middle uniqueness group, low uniqueness group. 2. The 3 factor (esthetic, functional, practical) were extracted from the clothing selection criteria. The three group had a significant difference in clothing selection and switching intention. Aesthetic factor and practical factor were the highest in high uniqueness group. 3. The need for uniqueness has influence on the aesthetic factor and practical factor. The creative choice factor had positive effect on the aesthetic and practical factor, yet unpopular choice factor had negative effect on the practical factor. The need for uniqueness and aesthetic factor has positive influence on brand switching intentions. 4. There was difference in unpopular choices factor by gender. A monthly average expenditure on fashion products had a significant difference in three kind of need for uniqueness. Results of this study provide a basis understand need for uniqueness and their effect on consumer behavior.

The purpose of this study was to investigate characteristics on Department stores consumers and to compare consumer characteristics among shopper types and department store types. For this purpose an ethnographic approach which is a kind of qualitative analysis was performed first. And then The data were collected from 600 female consumers over twenties and residing in Pusan Finally 499 data were used for the statistical analysis. 1. The results of clothing shopping orientations study were as follows : As a result of qualitative analysis those who patronize department stores were recreational/convenience shoppers. From quantitative analysis clothing shopping orientations were factor analyzed. which resulted in eight factors ; Recreational Shopping Convenience Shopping. Sensibility Seeking Well-Known Brand Preference Fashion Seeking Economic Shopping Sel-confidence in clothing shopping Convenient store shopping. 2. The results of store choice criteria study were as follows: As a result of concentrative observation eight store choice criteria dimensions were categorized : Service Store Atmosphere Promotion/Facilities Product Convenience Advertisement VMD Traffic/Location Convenience. From quantitative analysis eight store choice criteria factors emerged; Service Store Atmosphere Promotion/Facilities Assortment Shopping Convenience Advertisement VMD Traffic/Location Convenience. 3. According to the factor scores of recreational shopping and Convenience shopping consumers were segmented into four shopper types ; High Shopping-involved Shopper Recreational Shopper Convenience Shopper and Low Shopping-involved Shopper. Department types were divided into a large enterprise department stores and local department stores. Consumer characteristics such as clothing shopping orientations store choice criteria purchase behavior variables and demographic variables were significantly different in shopper types and department store types were significantly different in clothing shopping orientations and tore choice criteria.

The multi-mixed complex medical care facility consisting of mainly hospital and other associated facilities such as retail, office, accommodation, healthcare services, and so on, is currently recognized as a new segment in the real estate market. This study intends to identify the customer choice criteria for the development of multi-mixed complex medical care facility. Based on literature review and expert consultation, the 3 criteria with 12 sub-criteria for customer choice have been defined. And the AHP methodology has been implemented for the development of relative weight of those criteria depending on the type of facility including 'medical facility', 'supporting facility', 'healthcare service facility' and 'other ancillary facility'. Research findings indicated the implication for the optimal combination of facility development based on the customer choice criteria controlled by facility. Accordingly, this research intends to provide the guidance toward the development of multi-mixed complex medical care facility.
This study is intended to help internet marketers by trying to segment consumer who had experience in buying clothing in internet shopping-malls. Concrete purpose of this study was 1)to segment by Buying Motives of Internet Clothing Buyer, 2) to identify demographic traits of segmented groups and 3) to identify buying behavior traits, internet shopping-mall choice criteria of segmented groups. The data of 500 respondents were collected by questionnaires in internet survey site. The results were as follows : 1) 5 factors; convenience, informational, hedonic, economic, easiness of refund were revealed by factor analysis, 2) 3 group types by buying motives; information-oriented, hedonic, convenience-oriented were identified by cluster analysis, 3) 3 groups were different in demographic traits, 4) goal-directed/experience-directed behavior and shopping-mall choice criteria of three groups were different. And then marketing implications were discussed.

Consumer knowledge has been discussed as an important concept to understand information processing such as information search and evaluation process. It has been defined as the amounts and contents of information in consumer's memory accumulated by experiences. According to literature review, experts who have much knowledge are likely to retrieve their information related to products for a purchase efficiency. Therefore, they are likely to simplify the information processing for a choice. The purpose of this study was to examine the relationship between clothing product knowledge and evaluative criteria for a purchase. The results were as follows; First, it was found out that evaluative criteria were composed of four dimensions such as the management, the esthetic, the fitness and the brand. Therefore, it is implied that evaluative criteria for purchasing clothing products were multidimensional. Second, the level of objective knowledge was low, and consumers perceived that they didn't have much knowledge related with clothing products. Also, the relationships between objective and subjective knowledge were positive but low. Third, the evaluative criteria were effected by the level of consumer's knowledge significantly. In subjective knowledge, the subjects in a high group considered all criteria more deeply than in a low group. But there was a significant difference only in the esthetic between two groups in objective knowledge. The results of this study imply that consumer knowledge may influence evaluation process. Knowledgeable consumer would consider product attributes deeply for evaluating clothing products, and especially, the esthetic would be an important factor as an attribute including the instrumental and expressive functions in a purchase phase. Therefore, consumer knowl- edge would be a basis of predicting expert's information processing and managing heavy buyer or loyal consumers in apparel industry.

The study had subject to find out what factors Korean automobile consumer is considering in their decision to purchase cars in the situation of the growing competition in the domestic automobile market. In order to this end, the previous study was reviewed to select various factors considered in the process of buying cars. Based on this, Analytic Hierarchy Process was used to prioritize which factors were considered more important by consumers. In the result of study, we could find that performance had the highest priority, and the second ranking was the price. In contrast, image of brand and convenience of maintenance were shown to be relatively low in importance, ranking $3^{rd}$ and $4^{th}$, respectively. Beside, we could recognized the ranking of other detailed factors. This study has an academic implication in that it is able to grasp the latest tendency of consumers' purchase choice of car and to make conclusion by applying AHP analysis method to study of related subject. It also have practical significance that can be a basis for make sense what factors should be taken by the automobile industry to uprise the purchase of the consumers through the identification and preparation of the purchase selection criteria of domestic automobile buyers.
With the advent of the Internet era, consumer lifestyles have been changed tremendously, and mobile payment has carried out an increasingly extensive coverage of the people's life trajectory. Taking the design of the mobile payment interface as an example, we use a conjoint analysis method to survey college students in Guangxi, where questionnaires are collected from 270 people in different groups according to gender. The method separates the attributes that affect consumer choice of mobile payment interface design and the utility value of the attribute level to analyze consumer needs and preferences, and then obtains consumers' potential evaluation criteria for mobile payment interface design. The results of the study show that the attributes that influence consumers' choice of mobile payment interface design are, in order of preference: page layout, identification convenience, verification, module distribution, entertainment, and information encryption. Consumer groups of different genders show differences in their preferences in the mobile payment interface design and Consumer needs reflect consumer psychology. Several findings are obtained on the consumers' preferences on the mobile payment interface design, which may be used to improve future design processes.
As the number of households raising pets increases, the pet food industry is also growing. Since pets cannot express their intention explicitly, it appears that the owner's perception mainly affects the selection of products related to pets. In this study, consumers were categorized based on their interest in food choices and the factors influencing their interest in pet food were empirically analyzed. For the analysis, a cluster analysis, factor analysis, and Tobit analysis were conducted using consumer survey data for raising companion animals. The major findings of the study were as follows. As a result of the factor analysis and cluster analysis using questions for consumers' food consumption choices, consumer types were classified into high-interest, low-interest, and practical-seeking types. The degree of interest in pet food was high in the order of high-interest, practical-seeking, and low-interest type. Demographic characteristics such as gender, education, and household type correlate with differences in the degree of interest in pet food, and the food selection criteria of consumers also affect the degree of interest in pet food. These results show that consumers who are more interested in their food choices are more interested in pet food, and this will make possible to know pet owner's purchasing behavior for pet food.
