개선된 통합모니터링 시스템 설계 및 구축 (Improved Integrated Monitoring System Design and Construction)

  • 기업에서는 정보유출을 막기 위해 방화벽, DLP 기능의 개별 보안시스템과 통합모니터링 시스템을 구축하여 내부직원에 의한 정보유출을 상시 모니터링하고 있다. 특히 통합모니터링 시스템의 많은 로그 데이터 때문에 시간과 금전적인 비용이 많이 발생하고 있으며, 시스템 속도 저하로 인해 빠른 정보유출 인원을 감지하기 힘들다. 빠른 정보유출 감지를 위해 대용량의 로그 데이터를 일자별, 개인별로 수치화하여 시스템 속도를 빠르게 할 필요가 있다. 그리고 정보유출 징후 인원에 대한 지속적인 모니터링 프로그램을 개발해서 관리할 필요성이 있다.

건설업 협력회사 안전수준 향상 방안에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Improvement of Subcontractors' Safety Management System in Construction Industries)

  • Subcontractors have an increased risk of accidents compared to large contractors. Subcontractors' safety management system is in close association with workers in construction sites. Contractors should strengthen subcontractors' roll and responsibility and provide continual support to prevent an accident. And also these supporting system should be provided to subcontractors' headquarters as well as construction site. Contractors' priority management for subcontractors safety should be transferred from the post management for disciplinary action to the preventive management to improve subcontractors participation and safety performance. Subcontractors can not establish the safety management system with just a one time supporting only. Contractors support and monitoring should be provided to subcontractors regularly and continuously to establish their self safety management system. The subcontractors safety management system improvement program(SSMSIP) suggested in this study will be a effective supporting system for subcontractors to establish and improve their safety management system. If we carry out the objective and quantitative evaluations and supporting system such as SSMSIP and provide the consequential incentive program to subcontractors, it can contribute to the accident reduction.

IoT 기술 기반의 산악지 모니터링 시스템 개발 (Development of a Mountainous Area Monitoring System based on IoT Technology)

  • 국토의 70%가 산지인 우리나라는 산악지 거동으로 인한 시설물 피해가 많이 발생한다. 그런데 최근에 모노레일 등 산악활동을 위한 시설물에 대한 건설수요가 증가하면서, 시설물 피해 가능성이 점점 더 증가하고 있다. 이에 본 연구에서는 기존의 유선기반 산악지 모니터링 시스템을 개선하여, IoT기술이 적용된 산악지 실시간 모니터링시스템을 구축하고, 현장 적용성을 평가하였다. 본 연구의 결과를 요약하면 다음과 같다. 첫째, 기존 산악지 시설물 현황과 모니터링 현황을 조사 분석하고, 기존 유선 모니터링 기술을 분석하였다. 둘째, IoT기반 모니터링을 위한 시나리오를 개발하고, 이에 적합한 RF통신모듈과 RF통신모듈 인터페이스, 전원부, 태양전지 등 센서노드를 개발하였다. 셋째, K대 현장에 테스트베드를 구축하고, 이에 대해서 현장적용성 실험을 수행하였다. 그 결과 초기 무선통신의 오류를 보완한 이후에는 유선시스템과 동일하게 데이터가 수집되는 것으로 나타났다. 넷째, 개발된 시스템을 활용하면, 약 25%(4시간)의 공기단축과 약 3~52%(8~119만원) 수준의 비용절감이 가능할 것으로 예상된다. 다섯째, 피복케이블 운반과 같이 위험한 작업환경인 사면현장에서 수행해야 하는 작업들 중 일부를 제거함으로써, 작업원의 안전도를 크게 향상시킬 수 있다. 본 연구의 한계로는, IoT환경에 최적화된 센서를 사용하지 못하였고, 센서노드의 수가 적다는 점을 들 수 있다.

거가대교 케이슨기초 그라우트 충전 사례연구 (A Case Study on Caisson Foundation Grouting in Geo-Ga Bridge)

  • During construction of a sea-crossing bridge grouting was used to fill densely the space between the bottom of caisson and the ground. This grout mixture was mixed with an anti-washout admixture after locating accurately the pre-cast caisson on three concrete landing pads. This method differs significantly from the costly conventional method, for bridge foundations offshore, where concrete is placed in situ after excavating inside of a temporary concrete coffering wall. To verify the grouting method in advance, the full-scale field tests were performed twice on land. After identifying the fluidity of the grout material to be filled, finding some possible problems with the main construction and revising the original design, the main construction has been continuing successfully with 20 caissons completed to date. The purpose of this paper is to introduce for the first time in Korea the grouting method including the automatic and the manual monitoring system based on the main construction of the caisson foundation.

  • Earth Anchor method as a supporting system is widely used in the large scale deep excavation of urban areas or slope excavation project. Considering the application frequency of that method and catastrophe of that method under unproper construction management, we can find out many problems relevant to the domestic design and construction management of earth anchor method. When we encounter the cases of rapid increments and various decrements in earth anchor axial forces, considering the characteristic of earth anchor method, it is an essential point to catch the reasons and to prepare countermeasures. This article introduces two actual monitoring examples based on the close analyses of measured data in a typical large scale deep excavation project and slope excavation project. One is a rapidly increasing case of earth anchor axial forces with the continuous advance of incremental deformation in a geological layer interface. And another is a decreasing case of earth anchor axial forces with the construction conditions. The effort of this article aims to improve and develop the technique of design and construction in the coming projects having similar ground condition and supporting method.

Game Engine Driven Synthetic Data Generation for Computer Vision-Based Construction Safety Monitoring

  • Recently, computer vision (CV)-based safety monitoring (i.e., object detection) system has been widely researched in the construction industry. Sufficient and high-quality data collection is required to detect objects accurately. Such data collection is significant for detecting small objects or images from different camera angles. Although several previous studies proposed novel data augmentation and synthetic data generation approaches, it is still not thoroughly addressed (i.e., limited accuracy) in the dynamic construction work environment. In this study, we proposed a game engine-driven synthetic data generation model to enhance the accuracy of the CV-based object detection model, mainly targeting small objects. In the virtual 3D environment, we generated synthetic data to complement training images by altering the virtual camera angles. The main contribution of this paper is to confirm whether synthetic data generated in the game engine can improve the accuracy of the CV-based object detection model.

  • 건설산업에서 설계 ${\cdot}$ 시공 역량을 발전시키고, 건설관리의 선진화를 달성하기 위해서 유비쿼터스 기술의 필요성이 대두되고 있다. 유비쿼터스를 응용하는 환경은 생산성과 관리효율 향상을 위한 많은 기회를 가져올 것으로 예상된다. 부산대학교 건설시스템연구실에서 실시하고 있는 본 연구는 기존 콘크리트 타설 프로세스에 유비쿼터스 기술 중 하나인 RFID 기술을 적용하여 콘크리트 타설 시 생산과 품질 관리의 효과를 높이는 방안을 제시하는 것을 목적으로 하고 있다. 시범현장에 대한 테스트를 위해서 RFID 기술을 접목한 사용자 환경을 개발했으며, RFID 장비를 배치 플랜트와 현장에 배치하여 콘크리트 타설 작업을 모니터링 했다. 현장 테스트를 통해서 배치 플랜트와 시공현장 간 커뮤니케이션을 향상시키고, 결과적으로 생산성 및 품질관리의 효과를 높일 수 있는 것으로 평가됐다.

  • Generally, occupational safety and particularly construction safety is an intricate phenomenon. Industry professionals have devoted vital attention to enforcing Occupational Safety and Health (OHS) from the last three decades to enhance safety management in construction. Despite the efforts of the safety professionals and government agencies, current safety management still relies on manual inspections which are infrequent, time-consuming and prone to error. Extensive research has been carried out to deal with high fatality rates confronting by the construction industry. Sensor systems, visualization-based technologies, and tracking techniques have been deployed by researchers in the last decade. Recently in the construction industry, computer vision has attracted significant attention worldwide. However, the literature revealed the narrow scope of the computer vision technology for safety management, hence, broad scope research for safety monitoring is desired to attain a complete automatic job site monitoring. With this regard, the development of a broader scope computer vision-based risk recognition system for correlation detection between the construction entities is inevitable. For this purpose, a detailed analysis has been conducted and related rules which depict the correlations (positive and negative) between the construction entities were extracted. Deep learning supported Mask R-CNN algorithm is applied to train the model. As proof of concept, a prototype is developed based on real scenarios. The proposed approach is expected to enhance the effectiveness of safety inspection and reduce the encountered burden on safety managers. It is anticipated that this approach may enable a reduction in injuries and fatalities by implementing the exact relevant safety rules and will contribute to enhance the overall safety management and monitoring performance.
