  • This paper addresses the data classification using the induction of decision trees. A weakness of other techniques of induction of decision trees is that decision trees are too large because they construct decision trees until leaf nodes have a single class. Our study include both overcoming this weakness and constructing decision trees which is small and accurate. First, we construct the decision trees using classification threshold and exception threshold in construction stage. Next, we present two stage pruning method using classification threshold and reduced error pruning in pruning stage. Empirical results show that our method obtain the decision trees which is accurate and small.

  • This paper proposed an analysis method of common form for phonemes which is able to construct a Hangul syllable and designed the Choseong, Jungseong, and Jongseong phoneme fonts based on analized information. Also, It presents the algorithm which is able to construct the output of all Hangul syllables using 473 phoneme fonts. Through the experiment, an analized information and output algorithm could be applied to the design of Hangul fonts, effectively.

  • This paper presents a study regarding a construction of the slide cases through the useful and practical design using presentation tool-Microsoft Powerpoint, which can offer to the person in charge with more useful and practical information for the construction of the slide cases. In this study, Presentation program is used to construct case in the slides. The results of this study may be summarized as follows : First, it is possible to construct useful and practical case in the slides with presentation program. Second, this study proposes directions for the construction of slides with presentation program.

  • In this paper, we analyze the Hamiltonian property of Pyramid graphs. We prove that it is always possible to construct a Hamiltonian cycle of length $(4^N-1)/3$ by applying the proposed algorithm to construct series of cycle expansion operations into two adjacent cycles in the Pyramid graph of height N.

  • When fractional factorial experiments contain some infeasible treatment combinations called debarred combinations we should construct experimental designs so that those debarred combinations are to be excluded by selecting defining contrasts appropriately. By applying Franklin(1995)'s procedure for selecting defining contrasts to Cheng and Li(1993)'s method this paper presents a method of selecting defining contrasts to construct orthogonal 3-level fractional factorial experiments which exclude some debarred combinations.

  • The object of this study is to construct a model for an optimal allocation of short surface to air missile defending our targets most efficiently from hostile aircraft´s attack. For the purpose of this, we analyze and establish facility allocation concept of existing models, apply set covering theory appropriate to problem´s properties, present the process of calculating the probability of target being protected, apply Sherali-Kim´s branching variable selection strategy, and then construct the model. As constructed model apply the reducing problem with application, we confirm that we can apply the large scale, real problem.

  • In this note we construct an anti-symplectic involution on the non-$K\ddot{a}hler$, symplectic 4-manifold which is constructed by Thurston and show that the quotient of the Thurston's 4-manifold is not symplectic. Also we construct a non-$K\ddot{a}hler$, symplectic 4-manifold using the Gomph's symplectic sum method and an anti-symplectic involution on the non-$K\ddot{a}hler$, symplectic 4-manifold.

  • For test-retest reliability, it is important to consider whether the attributes of the construct being measured is temporally stable or not. For responsiveness, it needs a longitudinal study design including a treatment/intervention known to induce a change on the construct to be measured.

  • We construct generalized Cauchy-Riemann equations of the first order for a pair of two ℝ-valued functions to deform a minimal graph in ℝ3 to the one parameter family of the two dimensional minimal graphs in ℝ4. We construct the two parameter family of minimal graphs in ℝ4, which include catenoids, helicoids, planes in ℝ3, and complex logarithmic graphs in ℂ2. We present higher codimensional generalizations of Scherk's periodic minimal surfaces.

  • Let (𝓛, 𝒜) be a complete duality pair. We give some equivalent characterizations of Gorenstein (𝓛, 𝒜)-projective modules and construct some model structures associated to duality pairs and Frobenius pairs. Some rings are described by Frobenius pairs. In addition, we investigate special Gorenstein (𝓛, 𝒜)-projective modules and construct some model structures and recollements associated to them.
