Preparation of $\textrm{BaTiO}_3$ Thin Films by Electrochemical Method (전기화학법을 이용한 $\textrm{BaTiO}_3$박막의 제조)

  • Perovskite $BaTiO_3$ thin films on stainless steel substrate were prepared by using electrochemical reduction method in solution of $TiCl_4\;and\;Ba(N0_3)_2$. According to current density and electrolysis time. the morphology and thickness of film were varied. Ra/'Ti atomic ratio in $BaTiO_3$ film was controlled by Ha/Ti atomic ratio in solution. Although the excess $TiO_2{\cdot}nH_2O$ film was coated in initial stage of electrolysis. UiilTi atomic ratio in film was nearly constant in later stage. $BaTiO_3$ film precursor was obtained under the condition of $1OmA/cm^2$ current density and Smin electrolysis time. $BaTiO_2$ thin films with perovskite phase were formed 11,. the heat treatment above $500^{\circ}$.

A Study on the Detection Characteristics in Glucose and Fabrication of Bi-Enzyme Electrode using Electrochemical Method (전기화학적 방법을 이용한 다중 효소 전극 제작 및 글루코스 검출 특성에 관한 연구)

  • In this study, the development of biosensors capable of bi-enzyme reactions by including Horseradish peroxidase and glucose oxidase was carried out for detection of glucose. The sensors were manufactured using electro deposition method to reduce production time, and screen printed electrodes (SPE) were used to produce economical sensors. To check the bienzyme effect, the sensor was compared and analyzed with single enzyme biosensor. The characteristics of the sensor were evaluated using scanning electron microscopy(SEM), cyclic voltammetry(CV), electrochemical impedance spectroscopy(EIS), chronoamperometry(CA), and flow injection analysis(FIA). Analysis results from SEM, CV and EIS confirmed that the enzymes are well fixed to the electrode surface. In addition, it was confirmed that bi-enzyme biosensors manufactured from the CA method improved signal performance by 200% compared to single enzyme biosensors. From this results, we were able to explain that HRP and GOD react catalyzed to each other. And the results of FIA showed that the intensity of each current signal was constant when the same concentration of glucose was injected four times. In addition, by analyzing the intensity of current signals for glucose concentrations, the biosensors manufactured in this study showed excellent trends in signal sensitivity, reproducibility and stability.

Study on a New Method for Precise Stop Control of Metro Trains: In Case of Large Speed Error (도시철도 열차 정위치 정차제어의 새로운 방안에 대한 연구: 속도 오차가 큰 경우)

  • One of the requirements of metro trains is to stop with precision to ensure that the train can stop precisely at the designated location on the platform. If this is not satisfied, interference with the screen door occurs, causing inconvenience to passengers and delays in operation. In the case of an automatic operated train, the current position is determined by the current speed information of the train, and control is performed by issuing an acceleration/deceleration command. Therefore, accurate control becomes impossible if the error of the speed information is large. In metro railroads, a Precision Stop Marker (PSM) is used to correct the position error, so that the error of stop control can be reduced by correcting the position error at a specific point. On the other hand, because the PSM itself has only position information, it does not compensate for the speed error. This paper proposes a method for performing in-place stop control by estimating the speed with the PSM progress information. The speed can be estimated when the train is operated at a constant deceleration speed, and the target deceleration can be obtained to perform stop control. The feasibility and excellence of the proposed method are shown through a numerical simulation.

Image Evaluation of Projection Method in Chest Radiography (흉부 엑스선 촬영 시 촬영기법에 따른 영상 평가)

  • In this study, images taken using a grid and images taken using Air Gap Technique were evaluated in X-ray chest radiography. Subjective Evaluation The ROC (Receiver Operating Characteristic) evaluation was evaluated by 5 radiologists who had worked for more than 10 years in the radiology department of a university hospital. Objective evaluation SNR (Signal to noise ratio) was evaluated. As a result of the analysis, the Cronbach Alpha value was 0.714, which was significantly higher. In the Air Gap Technique, the distance between the phantom and the subject was set at 20 cm, and the image was taken with a tube voltage of 100 kVp, a tube current and a recording time of 8 mAs. In the ROC (Receiver Operating Characteristic) evaluation, the highest score was obtained with 18 score and an objective evaluation SNR (signal to noise ratio) of 6,149 scored. Also, in the imaging method using a grid, when the distance between the phantom and the constant receptor is 15 cm apart, and the tube voltage is 110 kVp, the tube current and the recording time are taken at 8 mAs, the ROC evaluation score is 19 and the objective evaluation SNR (Signal to noise ratio) is the highest with 6.622 scored. Therefore, if the Air Gap Technique imaging method is used, which overcomes the shortcomings such as delay in reading, increase in patient's exposure dose, and shortening of mechanical lifespan, as well as re-radiography due to the cut-off phenomenon of the grid that appears using the grid, the It is thought that it will be very helpful for chest imaging, including the case of using a portable X-ray imaging device.

A Modified REDP Aggregate Marker for improving TCP Fairness of Assured Services

  • To provide the end-to-end service differentiation for assured services, the random early demotion and promotion (REDP) marker in the edge router at each domain boundary monitors the aggregate flow of the incoming in-profile packets and demotes in-profile packets or promotes the previously demoted in-profile packets at the aggregate flow level according to the negotiated interdomain service level agreement (SLA). The REDP marker achieves UDP fairness in demoting and promoting packets through random and early marking decisions on packets. But, TCP fairness of the REDP marker is not obvious as for UDP sources. In this paper, to improve TCP fairness of the REDP marker, we propose a modified REDP marker where we combine a dropper, meters and a token filling rate configuration component with the REDP marker. To make packet transmission rates of TCP flows more fair, at the aggregate flow level the combined dropper drops incoming excessive in-profile packets randomly with a constant probability when the token level in the leaky bucket stays in demotion region without incoming demoted in-profile packets. Considering the case where the token level cannot stay in demotion region without the prior demotion, we propose a token filling rate configuration method using traffic meters. By using the token filling rate configuration method, the modified REDP marker newly configures a token filling rate which is less than the negotiated rate determined by interdomain SLA and larger than the current input aggregate in-profile traffic rate. Then, with the newly configured token filling rate, the token level in the modified REDP marker can stay in demotion region pertinently fir the operation of the dropper to improve TCP fairness. We experiment with the modified REDP marker using ns2 simulator fur TCP sources at the general case where the token level cannot stay in demotion region without the prior demotion at the negotiated rate set as the bottleneck link bandwidth. The simulation results demonstrate that through the combined dropper with the newly configured token filling rate, the modified REDP marker also increases both aggregate in-profile throughput and link utilization in addition to TCP fairness improvement compared to the REDP marker.

Development of Flexible Glucose Measurement Sensor Based on Copper Nanocubes Electroplated Laser Induced Graphene Electrode (구리 나노 큐브를 전기 도금한 레이저 유도 그래핀 전극 기반의 글루코스 측정용 유연 센서 개발)

  • In this paper, we describe the development of a non-enzymatic glucose sensor based on copper nanocubes(Cu NCs) electroplated laser induced graphene(LIG) electrodes which can detect a certain range of glucose concentrations. $CO_2$ laser equipment was used to form LIG electrodes on the PI film. This fabrication method allows easy control of the LIG electrode size and shape. The Cu NCs were electrochemically deposited on the LIG electrodes to improve electron transfer rates and thus enhancing electrocatalytic reaction with glucose. The average sheet resistances before and after electroplating were $15.6{\Omega}/{\Box}$ and $19.6{\Omega}/{\Box}$, respectively, which confirmed that copper nanocubes were formed on the laser induced graphene electrodes. The prepared electrode was used to measure the current according to glucose concentration using an electrochemical method. The LIG electrodes with Cu NCs demonstrated a high degree of sensitivity ($1643.31{\mu}A/mM{\cdot}cm^2$), good stability with a linear response to glucose ranging from 0.05 mM to 1 mM concentration, and a limit of detection of 0.05 mM. In order to verify that these electrodes can be used as flexible devices, the electrodes were bent to $30^{\circ}$, $90^{\circ}$, and $180^{\circ}$ and cyclic voltammetry measurements were taken while the electrodes were bent. The measured data showed that the peak voltage was almost constant at 0.42 V and the signal was stable even in the flexed condition. Therefore, it is concluded that these electrodes can be used in flexible sensors for detecting glucose in the physiological sample like saliva, tear or sweat.

Electrochemical Characteristics of Silicon/Carbon Anode Materials using Petroleum Pitch (석유계 피치를 사용한 실리콘/탄소 음극소재의 전기화학적 특성)

  • In this study, the electrochemical characteristics of Silicon/Carbon anode materials were analyzed to improve the cycle stability of silicon as an anode materials of lithium ion battery. Porous silicon was prepared from TEOS by the $st{\ddot{o}}ber$ method and the magnesiothermic reduction method. Silicon/Carbon anode materials were synthesized by varying the mass ratio between porous silicon and pitch. Physical properties of the prepared Silicon/Carbon anode materials were analyzed by XRD and TGA. Also the electrochemical performances of Silicon/Carbon anode materials were investigated by constant current charge/discharge, rate performance, cyclic voltammetry and electrochemical impedance tests in the electrolyte of $LiPF_6$ dissolved in organic solvents (EC : DEC = 1 : 1 vol%). The Silicon/Carbon anode composite (silicon : carbon = 5 : 95 in weight) has better capacity (453 mAh/g) than those of other composition cells. The cycle performance has an excellent capacity retention from 2nd cycle to 30th cycle.

HCP Evaluation Considering Property of Cement Mortar and Steel Corrosion (건조 상태의 시멘트 모르타르 특성과 철근 부식량을 고려한 HCP 평가)

  • HCP(Half Cell Potential) method has been widely used since it is recognized as a efficient NDT(Non Destructive Technique) for corrosion detection. This work is for an evaluation of relation between corrosion amount and measured HCP in dried condition through ICM(Impressed Current Method) for accelerating corrosion. For the work, cement mortar specimens with three w/c ratios and four cover depths are prepared, and corrosion test based on ICM is performed for 6 hours, 18 hour, and 42 hours with constant 20V of electrical charge, respectively. From the test, corrosion amount increases with reduced cover depth, increasing w/c ratio, and extended corrosion period, where corrosion amount is evaluated to linearly increases with measured HCP in dried condition. In order to evaluate corrosion amount through measured HCP, the measured HCP level is firstly determined and then corrosion amount is to be compared with measured HCP, which is evaluated to be more reasonable with higher C.O.V.

The Characteristics of the Hydrogen Embrittlement for the Cr-Mo Steels in Use of Pressure Vessel (압력용기용 Cr-Mo강의 수소취화 특성)

  • This study presents the hydrogen emblittlement in the metal, which decreases the ductility and then induces the brittle fracture. The contribution deals with the effect of strain rate and notch geometry on hydrogen emblittlement of 1.25Cr-0.5Mo and 2.25Cr-1Mo steels, which are in use at high pressure vessel. Smooth and notched specimens were examined to obtain the elongation and tensile strength. For charging the hydrogen in the metal, the cathodic electrolytic method was used. In this process, current density is maintained constant. The amount of hydrogen penetrated in the specimen was detected by the hydrogen determenator(LECO RH404) with the various charging time. The distribution of hydrogen concentration penetrated in the specimen was obtained by finite element analysis. The amount of hydrogen is high in smooth specimen and tends to concentrate in the vicinity of surface. The elongation and tensile strength decreased with the passage of charging time in 1.25Cr-0.5Mo and 2.25Cr-1Mo steels. The elongation increased and tensile strength decreased as strain rate increased. As a result of this study, it is supposed that 1.25Cr-0.5Mo steel is more sensitive than 2.25Cr-lMo steel in hydrogen embrittlement. Hydrogen embrittlement susceptibility of notched specimen after hydrogen charging is more remarkable than that of smooth specimen.

Compensate Voltage Drop for Autotransformer-Fed AC Electric Railroad System with Single-Phase STATCOM (STATCOM을 이용한 교류 전기철도 급전시스템의 전압강하 보상)

  • This paper presents exact autotransformer-fed AC electric railroad system modeling using constant current mode, and single-phase STATCOM(Static Synchronous Compensator) which has an effect on electric railroad system. An AC electric railroad is rapidly changing single-phase feeding electric power. To avoid voltage fluctuation under single phase loads, electric power should be received from a large source. The system modeling theory is based on the solution of algebraic. The AC electric railroad load model is nonlinear. Therefore this paper is considered nonlinear load using PSCAD/EMTDC. And the proposed modeling method is considered the line self-impedances and mutual-impedances that techniques for the AC electric railroad system modeling analysis, and that single-phase STATCOM can reliably compensate the voltage drop. In the case study, the allowance range of feeding voltage is 22.5∼27.5 kV, AT-fed AC electric railroad system circuit is analyzed by loop equation both normal and extension modes. The simulation objectives are to calculate the catenary and rail voltages with respect to ground, as the train moves along a section of line between two adjacent ATs. The results show that single-phase STATCOM can reduce the voltage drop in the feeding circuit and improve the power quality at AC electric railroad system by compensating the reactive power.
