  • In a number of earlier papers the study of the structure of semigroups has been approached by means of right congruences. Such n approach seems appropriate since a right congruence is one of the possible analogs of both the right ideal of a ring and the subgroup in a group. Each of these substructures plays a strong role in the study of the structure of their respective systems. in both the ring and the group the internal direct product is nat-urally and effectively defined. however what such an internal direct product should be for two right congruences of a semigroup is not so clear. In this paper we will offer a possible definition and consider some of the consequences of it. We will also extend some of these results to automata.

  • A polynomial, $p(z)=a_0z^n+a_1z^{n-1}+{\cdots}+a_{n-1}z+a_n$, with real coefficients is called a stable or a Hurwitz polynomial if all its zeros have negative real parts. We show that if a polynomial is a Hurwitz polynomial then so is the polynomial $q(z)=a_nz^n+a_{n-1}z^{n-1}+{\cdots}+a_1z+a_0$ (with coefficients in reversed order). As consequences, we give simple ratio checking inequalities that would determine unstability of a polynomial of degree 5 or more and extend conditions to get some previously known results.

  • In this paper, various methods to improve the planetary gear noise in vehicles were introduced. Those cases of improvement have been used as good guidelines and references to prevent planetary noise problems. In this research, different types of planetary gear systems were also analyzed. The consequences of those analysis said in common that the planetary gear set generating noise mainly is the one which takes power directly from the turbine. Furthermore, a frequency versus vibration level map was introduced to judge how to solve the noise problem quickly in a vehicle development process. Besides, it is provided a predicting method which planetary gear set most contributes to noise problem taking in the vehicle and how to design the planetary gear set robustly.

  • The numerical simulation of a 271-rod fuel assembly of nuclear Liquid-Metal Fast Reactor (LMFR) with an infernal blockage has been carried out. Internal blockage within a subassembly is addressed in the safety assessment because it potentially has very serious consequences for the reactor as a whole. Three dimensional calculations were performed using the SABRE4 computer code for the range of blockage positions and sizes to investigate the seriousness and detectability of the internal blockage. The magnitude and location of the peak temperatures together with the temperature distribution at the subassembly exit were calculated in order to look at the potential for damage within the subassembly, and the possibility of blockage detection. The analysis result shows that the 6-subchannel blockage causes large temperature rise within a assembly with practically no change in mixed mean temperature at the assembly exit.

  • It is hypothesized that changing from conventional to organic production is an investment because specific capital items are necessary for such a step. It is further hypothesized that in view of the limited experience and the very restricted availability of extension materials such investment is particularly prone to risk. The conversion to organic farming has proven to be an economically interesting alternative for a large portion of the converted farms in the past. This contribution will consider the question of which factors influence the success of organic farming. A discussion of the most important consequences for politics and agricultural practice conclude this paper, drawn on the important factors identified in the study.

  • The economic consequences of large earthquakes require a revolutionary change in the seismic performance objective of residential and commercial buildings. The majority of total construction costs consist of non-structural and architectural costs. Therefore, the aim of this research is to upgrade current Life Safety performance objectives and to offset adverse effects on country's economy after an occurrence of large earthquakes. However, such a proposal cannot easily prove the feasibility of cost-benefit analysis in structural design. In this paper, six generic reinforced concrete frames and dual system structures designed based on Turkish Seismic Code were used in cost analysis. The study reveals that load bearing structural systems with Immediate Occupancy performance level in seismic zones can be achieved with negligible costs.

  • Human papillomavirus (HPV) is a prevalent sexually transmitted infection with serious medical, sexual, and relationship consequences. HPV vaccine protection is available globally but unfortunately vaccine uptake is inconsistent everywhere. From this study, it was observed that the awareness of cervical cancer, HPV virus and HPV vaccination in Malaysia is high, at 83.1%, 73.9% and 73.3% of respondents, respectively. However, a considerably low percentage had undergone HPV vaccination (8.6%) compared to those who had experienced a Pap smear (32.9%). Awareness between cervical cancer and HPV virus and vaccination was low. Health care providers and the governing bodies have to play a vital role in disseminating holistic information on the vaccine and the importance of getting vaccinated to the public more vigorously in Malaysia.

  • Metabolism lies at the heart of cell biology. The metabolism of cancer cells is significantly different from that of their normal counterparts during tumorigenesis and progression. Elevated glucose metabolism is one of the hallmarks of cancer cells, even under aerobic conditions. The Warburg effect not only allows cancer cells to meet their high energy demands and supply biological materials for anabolic processes including nucleotide and lipid synthesis, but it also minimizes reactive oxygen species production in mitochondria, thereby providing a growth advantage for tumors. Indeed, the mitochondria also play a more essential role in tumor development. As information about the numorous microRNAs has emerged, the importance of metabolic phenotypes mediated by microRNAs in cancer is being increasingly emphasized. However, the consequences of dysregulation of Warburg effect and mitochondrial metabolism modulated by microRNAs in tumor initiation and progression are still largely unclear.

  • Prader-Willi syndrome (PWS), a complex genetic disorder, arises from suppressed expression of paternally inherited imprinted genes on chromosome 15q11-q13. Characteristics include short stature, intellectual disability, behavioral problems, hypogonadism, obesity, and reduced bone and muscle. The life expectancy of persons with PWS has increased in recent years. Cardiovascular diseases, diabetes, dermatological, and orthopedic problems are common physical complaints in older people with PWS. Behavioral problems are major concerns in adults with PWS into old age. And aging is also associated with significant social and economic changes. Age-related physical morbidity, physical appearance, behavioral and psychiatric problems, functional decline and economic problems can be combined in older PWS. The care for older people with PWS requires a life span approach that recognizes the presence, progression, and consequences of specific morbidity.

  • We present coincidence point theorem for g-non-decreasing mappings satisfying generalized nonlinear contraction on partially ordered metric spaces. We show how multidimensional results can be seen as simple consequences of our unidimensional coincidence point theorem. We also obtain the coupled coincidence point theorem for generalized compatible pair of mappings $F,G:X^2{\rightarrow}X$ by using obtained coincidence point results. Furthermore, an example and an application to integral equation are also given to show the usability of obtained results. Our results generalize, modify, improve and sharpen several well-known results.
