The Study on Thermal Properties of Sleeve with Various Defects (시공유형에 따른 가공송전선 접속개소의 열적 특성 분석 연구)

  • According to previous report, aged sleeves for old transmission lines have various defect such as biased installation or corrosion of steel sleeve. These defects occupied almost 50 percent of investigated aged sleeves. The defects have been limited power capacity of transmission line. And it can cause serious problems such as rapid increasing of sag or falling out of overhead conductor from sleeve. This paper study on thermal behavior of sleeve with various defect model. The detailed results were presented in the text.

The Design of the Broadband Sleeve Monopole Antenna using Loading Coil (로딩 코일을 이용한 광대역 슬리브 모노폴 안테나의 설계)

  • In this paper, a broadband sleeve monopole antenna using a loading coil in sleeve is proposed. The center frequency of the proposed antenna is 1,990MHz. The antenna of the proposed structure has the same of the single sleeve monopole antenna, except for using the coil instead of the inner conductor in sleeve. As a result, it is found that the bandwidth is 1.239~2.154 GHz(above 53.9 %) for $S_{11}=-10\;d B$(VSWR<2), and the antenna impedance is good for a communication system and feeder which the impedance has 50 Ω.

  • This paper summarizes the data of a monopole antenna with a sleeve structure that can be applied in various ways. Sleeve monopole antennas have broadband characteristics and are used for multi-frequency applications. The sleeve monopole antenna is composed of a vertical conductor, which is a radiator, and a sleeve having the same structure as a coaxial cable. The sleeve acts as a radiator and an open stub. The length of the sleeve should be 1/3~2/3 of the total length of the antenna. A monopole antenna having a sleeve structure is applicable to a vehicle wiper antenna. In addition, the case of applying this antenna to a broadband sleeve antenna using a loading coil, a broadband printed sleeve monopole antenna for an ISM band, a gap sleeve and a double sleeve, and a UWB planar monopole antenna using half cutting was summarized and analyzed in terms of structure and broadband.

Implementation of Broadband Printed Sleeve Monopole Antenna (광대역 프린티드 슬리브 모노폴 안테나의 구현)

  • This paper presents the broadband printed sleeve-monopole antenna implementing the sleeve monopole structure in the form of PCB. In the proposed antenna, the antenna performance was improved by the diameter variation of the radiator, the length variation of the sleeve, and the variation of the diameter of the sleeve conductor. HFSS simulator of ANSYS corp. was used in order to confirm the antenna parameter characteristic. According to the simulation results, the VSWR was less than 2 for the range of 2.12GHz~3.18GHz. The frequency bandwidth is 1.08GHz. The frequency range of the actual fabricated antenna was 2.0GHz~3.55GHz, the frequency bandwidth is 1.55GHz. The maximum gain was 1.64dBi. The proposed antenna was $56{\times}5{\times}1.6mm$ in size. The utilization possibility of the broadband printed sleeve-monopole antenna could be confirmed according to compare and analyze the simulation and measurement data.

  • The cross-linked polyethylene(herein after XLPE) insulated power cable emit the methane($CH_4$)gas in the course of chemical cross-linking process. The general stranded conductor easily discharge this methane gas through the gap of each stranded wires. But the special stranded conductor that filled with semi-conducting rubber compound to prevent water penetration which is applied to water proof type of cable(22.9kV CN/CV-W), disturb the methane gas emission. The pre-mold type cable joint shall be expanded gradually by emit of gas left in XLPE insulation. For example, sometimes the corona problem outbreak on a new power distribution line, resulted from the gap between the sleeve and semi-conductive layer of cable joint. If above mentioned problem especially happened on the way of operating. We have to shut down the line and try to discharge the methane gas in cable joint. In this point, we would like to explain the mechanism of methane gas & cable joint and our test result briefly. At last, we are pleased to introduce the solution for preventing reoccurrence of this problem.

  • 초고압 전력 케이블용 도체 접속을 위한 접속방법으로 압축형(compressing type), 용접형(welding type), 압축-용접형(CW type; compressing-welding type)의 슬리브는 물론 동과 알루미늄의 이종(nonidentical materials) 접속을 위한 슬리브를 개발 하였으며, 전기적, 기계적으로 검증된 제품 개발을 위하여, 슬리브의 구조 변경과 접속 방법의 차이뿐 아니라 접속 전후의 응력 평가를 위해 슬리브 시편의 인장시험(tensile strength) 결과에 따른 슬리브 제작 및 시험을 진행하였다. 신뢰성 있는 제품 개발과 데이터를 얻기 위하여 초고압용 지중 고압 케이블을 시험 시료로 적용하여 시험 선로(test loop)를 구성하였으며, 이를 통하여 구조와 재질에 따른 접속 방법, 이상 온도 상승 또는 국부적인 고온 부위 발생 여부 등의 전기 시험 및 열싸이클 전압 시험(heating cycle voltage test) 조건을 설정하여 시험 전후의 열신축 등 전기적, 기계적 특성을 평가하였다. 접속 슬리브의 구조 및 재질에 따른 위치별 발열 양상을 체크하였으며, X-ray 장비를 이용하여 슬리브 내부의 압축 및 충진 정도를 점검함으로써 기존 접속 슬리브 보완은 물론 개발된 접속 슬리브의 설계 기준 및 안전율을 설정 할 수 있었다.
