Development of Evaluation Items and Indicators for Hydrological Safety on Agricultural Reservoir (농업용저수지 수문학적 안전성 평가 항목 및 지표 개발)

  • This study Development of Evaluation Items and Indicators for Hydrological Safety on Agricultural Reservoir improvement and grasped the relative importance through stratification of the evaluation points through AHP technique exercised by group of experts. Below conclusion was acquired based on the study done. Firstly, the hierarchy of the evaluation items was divided into two layers: there were six upper evaluation items and eleven lower evaluation items. Secondly, using the analytic hierarchy process, the importance values of the six upper evaluation items were determined via the paired comparison questionnaire survey and consistency check, which were in the order of maintenance condition (condition evaluation grade), freeboard of levee body (non-overtopping), discharge capacity of spillway, potential flood damage, flood calculation factor and freeboard of downstream bank. The maintenance condition(condition evaluation grade) was significantly influenced the results of the hydrological safety on agricultural reservoir evaluation results. Finally, the study indicated that in the short term, improving the safety check condition evaluation grade will be useful to improve the hydrological safety of the agricultural reservoir because it can be performed immediately.

The Corelation Analysis between Condition Evaluation Factors and Defect Index on the Concrete Retaining Wall (콘크리트 옹벽에 대한 상태평가 항목과 결함지수와의 상관관계 분석)

  • Although lots of safety inspection and precision safety diagnosis have been conducted on concrete retaining wall, there is no comprehensive analysis on the basis of the accumulated data associated with the statistic. Especially, the concentrated management is necessary on the evaluation items that cause critical damages for the efficient performance. In this regard, this study conducted a correlation analysis between the 18 condition evaluation items and defect index for the concrete retaining wall as well as how each item affects the final defect index as much as in the manual. As a result, correlation coefficient between sliding and overturning was 0.601, which means that they have a strong correlation, and the most influential item on defect index is the condition of drainage that scored the 0.750 correlation coefficient. In addition, as a result of regression analysis, the condition of drainage with the 0.683 correlation coefficient has a strong correlation with the defect index. If the condition evaluation items are integrated or readjusted based on the results of the statistical analysis in this study, the more efficient and accurate maintenance will be possible.

A Study on Rural Landscape Assessment Based on Rural Amenity Resources (농촌어메니티 자원에 기초한 농촌정관평가에 관한 연구)

  • Rural landscape is essential resources to reinvigorate rural tourism and local economy. The objective of this study is to apply the methodology that can assess landscapes of many rural villages based on the data of Rural Amenity Resource Survey. Above all, to make the data of rural amenity resources survey appropriate for landscape assessment, that was reclassified into 4 landscape resource and 12 lower items. Secondly, 4 evaluation standards of rural landscape; weight of landscape resources, weight of lower items, evaluation of lower items as the number, and evaluation of management condition was established by questionnaire survey. Thirdly, the evaluation standards was applied to case study area; Jug-Goc Myeon, Goc-Seong county, Jeollanamdo. Finally, this result was compared with the other result that management condition was not included in, and the villages that were urgent to improve management condition were selected. As a result, water resource and management condition have great effects on the total quality of rural landscape. Therefore, there are many villages that have peat potentials although that indicates low quality of landscape, now.

A Study on the Evaluation Indicators of Healthy Housing Quality of Multi-Family Housing (공동주택의 건강성능 평가지표 개발에 관한 연구)

  • The purpose this study is to develop indicators that measure the healthy housing condition of multi-family housing. The major findings are as follow: first, healthy housing was defined by physical, mental, social, and management aspects and proposed the conceptual model of hierarchy structure of evaluation of healthy housing by literature reviews. Second, evaluating items were selected based on literature reviews of existing indicators and preceding studies about both domestic and overseas multi-family housing. The evaluating indicators were identified as a total of 87 evaluating items which were composed of four dimensions and 16 attributes on the basis of the conceptual model. They cover comprehensive scope of the multi-family housing such as unit, building, complex, and site. Third, as the measurement, the 5-point ordinal scale measure was suggested. The evaluating measurement including measure standards, measure methods, and measure contents were developed by each evaluating items. Lastly, the weighting of evaluating indicators was developed by AHP method conducted by survey of an expert group. Items were identified as high contributors or low contributors. The weighting of these items could suggest several evaluations according to the situation. The level of healthy housing condition may be evaluated by both total evaluation and a specific field of evaluation.

A Study on the Facility Management Method through Actual Condition of Space Management - Based on the National University (공간관리 현황조사를 통한 대학시설관리방안에 관한 연구 - 국립대학의 사례를 중심으로)

  • To enhance the administrational efficiency and for university facility and space management to be public, this research suggests a competent and an objective evaluation system and index. The study will assist national and university finances to contribute towards advanced education. Furthermore, figure out the space management condition of national university by utilizing the evaluation system, and through that suggesting efficient special management method. According to the result of this study, evaluation system for university facility can be widely divided into seven categories; system preparation, members conference, propriety of space allocation, propriety of management system, space use ratio, time control of space use, imposition index of surplus use. Based on these subdivisions, the space management category contains 19 evaluation items and the marking system allows perfect score of 100 points. In result of examining space management condition using the evaluation system, space management was well enforced in research focused university group where as in education centered university group, it shows relatively low enforcement. It also illustrated that efforts of evaluation items were required in categories of imposition index of surplus use and special use ratio in order for efficient space management.

  • Agricultural water occupies the largest portion of total water use in Korea, and generally researches on the development of agricultural water have been stressed on the demand of agricultural water itself. But it is unavoidable to change a policy from the development of water resources to cope with the increase of water demand to the effective management of existing water resources. Evaluation of the decrepitude of irrigation facilities and their reasonable maintenance are important for the effective supply and use of agricultural water. Therefore it is necessary to develop evaluation technique that diagnoses the current condition of irrigation canals and suggest a countermeasure to improve the found problems. 25 items in 6 classes were selected for the evaluation of irrigation canal systems, and the weighted value between the items was calculated using AHP (Analysis Hierarchy Process) method. The current condition of the irrigation facilities was evaluated from the class evaluation marks, and ranking was decided from the total marks between the projects, and finally the priority of the project for the improvement was given.

Weighting Value Evaluation of Condition Assessment Item in Reinforced Earth Retaining Walls by Applying Hybrid Weighting Technique (혼합 가중치를 적용한 보강토 옹벽의 상태평가항목 가중치 평가)

  • This study proposed the new weighting values and fault points of condition assessment items for reinforced earth retaining walls based on the combination the inspection data and hybrid weighting technique. Utilizing the inspection data of 161 reinforced earth retaining walls, multi regression analysis and entropy technique were applied to gain the weighting values of condition assessment items. In addition, the weighting values by AHP technique was analyzed based on the opinion of experts. By appling hybrid weighting technique to the calculated weighting values obtained by the individual technique, the new weighting values of condition assessment items were proposed, and the fault points and fault indices of reinforced earth retaining walls were proposed. Results showed that the rank of the weighting value of the condition evaluation items was fluctuated according to the multiple regression analysis, AHP technique, and entropy technique. There was no duplication of the rank of the weighting value while the current weighting value was overlapped. Specially, in the rsults of multi regression analysis, two condition assessment items were occupied 70% of the total weights. When the proposed weighting values were applied to existing reinforced earth retaining wall of 161, 16 reinforced earth retaining walls showed the increased risk rank and 31 represented the decreased risk rank.

  • In this study, we studied strategic directions of urban management through evaluation the value of the investment with the consideration of the development plan, the condition of the location, the potential of the site, green and disaster prevention infrastructure, focused on Gugal-dong(Gugal Station area) and the region of Bora, Jung-dong, in Yongin city. In terms of the methodology, we tried to decide using Analytic Network Process which can consider the relation between the evaluation items. In conclusion, for the development plan, the order of evaluation items is development purpose, key tenant, fund raising and marketing, and for the condition of the location, the order of evaluation items is land use, surrounding environment, and traffic environment, and for the development potential, the order is marketability, identity, and historic character, and for the green and disaster prevention infrastructure, the order is prevention of human, natural, social disaster. The significance of the conclusion of this study is that it can be utilized in pre-evaluation in planning the urban development.

  • This study purposes to present the improvement on the index by analyzing concretely the certification and evaluation index and the actual certification acquisition focusing on the buildings acquiring the barrier-free (BF) certification. So, after analyzing the screening results of the buildings acquiring the BF certification and then grasping the general application level based on the above analysis, this study tries to present the improvement on the BF certification index by analyzing the detailed applications of the BF certification-acquired buildings and then grasping the problems on the evaluation index of the current certification system. It was analyzed that the items which applied the BF construction method generalized to the common buildings through the Act on the Promotion of Convenience in medium facilities and the items with higher distribution points were shown as high in terms of points and the acquired point level of items which influenced by the shape and condition of side and land to defile the appearance of buildings were low.

  • In the case of precise safety inspection and precise safety diagnosis of a building, a condition evaluation must be conducted to determine the safety grade. Since 2004, an evaluation method using fuzzy theory has been introduced for quantitative condition evaluation,and the relationship and importance of reinforced concrete members using fuzzy theory have been applied. Generally, fuzzy theory is a method used to deal with ambiguous expressions with unclear correlations, but at the time of development, it seems that it was developed by applying fuzzy theory as an alternative in a situation where inspection and diagnosis result data were insufficient. Therefore, it is necessary to verify the relationship and importance of evaluation items derived based on the current fuzzy theory using actual inspection and diagnosis result data.In this study, the correlation between the evaluation items was derived by using the results of 19 precision safety inspections and 9 precision safety inspections and the performance score function formula, and using this, a reasonable durability score calculation formula of the member was presented.
