서울지역 PM10 농도 예측모형 개발 (Development of statistical forecast model for PM10 concentration over Seoul)

  • 본 연구는 PM10 농도에 대한 계량치 예측모형 개발을 목적으로 한다. 세 종류의 자료 (기상관측 자료, 세계기상통신망 중국 관측자료, 대기질 화학수치모델자료)를 예측인자로 사용하였으며, 일일 단기예보 시스템에 쉽게 적용할 수 있도록 시간자료를 일자료로 변환하였고 시차변환을 수행하였다. 상관분석과 다중공선성 진단을 통하여 예측인자를 선택하고 두 종류의 모형 (중회귀모형, 문턱치 회귀모형)을 각각 적합하였다. 모형 안정성 검사를 위하여 모형검증을 수행하였으며, 전체자료를 사용하여 모형을 재추정한 후 예측치와 관측치 사이의 산점도와 시계열그림, RMSE, 예측성 평가측도를 작성 및 산출하여 두 모형을 비교하였다. 문턱치 회귀모형의 예측력이 고농도 PM10예측에서 다소 우수한 결과를 보였다.

  • PM10 농도는 시간 및 공간 의존성을 동시에 가지는 시공간 데이터이지만 현실적으로 연속적인 시공간 데이터를 획득하는 것은 쉬운 일이 아니다. 본 연구에서는 위성영상과 대기질 및 기상 관측 센서 데이터를 복합적인 딥러닝 모델에 적용하여 시공간 해상도를 향상시키는 모델을 설계하였다. 설계된 딥러닝 모델은 기상, 토지 이용 등 PM10 농도에 영향을 줄 수 있는 인자를 이용하여 학습하였으며, 대기질 및 기상 관측 데이터만을 이용하여 15분 단위의 30m×30m의 공간해상도를 PM10 영상을 생성하였다.

주방용 후드시스템의 분리판 형상 변화에 따른 유동장, 온도 및 농도특성에 관한 수치적 연구 (A Numerical Study on the Characteristics of Flow Field, Temperature and Concentration Distribution According to Changing the Shape of Separation Plate of Kitchen Hood System)

  • This study aims deriving analysis the flow characteristic of kitchen hood system with using 3-D numerical analysis method and improving the system to expel pollutes more efficiently. To understand the flow characteristics of four models, this study only focuses on velocity field, temperature field, and concentration field varying with followings whether separation plate is set or not and the shapes of separation plates. The quantity of air, speed of exhaust fan and temperature and concentration of heating source are concerned as constant values. The three models having different shapes have one exhaust port and the model which has the vent at the closest position to where pollutes are generated is discovered to be the most efficient model. Compare to the initial model (having no separation plate), it was $1.4-1.9\%$ more efficient at temperature distribution and $9.4-11.9\%$ more at $CO_2$ concentration distribution.

한국산 산사(Crataegus pinnatifida BUNGE)가 고콜레스테롤혈증 지질농도 변화에 미치는 영향 (Influences of Korean Haw (Crataegus pinnatifida BUNGE) on Lipid Concentration in Hypercholesterolemia)

  • This study was conducted to observe the influences of Crataegus pinnatifida BUNGE extract on lipid concentration in hypercholesterolemic rats (Sprague Dawley, male) fed the experimental diets for 5 weeks. Body weight gain was remarkably lower in the Crataegus pinnatifida BUNGE extract intake group than in the hypercholesterolemic rats. Total cholesterol concentration was remarkably lower in the extract of Crataegus pinnatifida BUNGE supplement in hypercholesterolemic rats than in the hypercholesterolemic model. Whereas, concentrations of HDL-cholesterol, ratio of HDL-cholesterol concentration to total cholesterol were remarkably higher in the extract of Crataegus pinnatifida BUNGE supplement in hypercholesterolemic rats than in the hypercholesterolemic model. Atherosclerotic index (AI), cardiac risk factor (CRF) were remarkably lower in the extract of Crataegus pinnatifida BUNGE supplement in hypercholesterolemic rats than in the hypercholesterolemic model. From the above research, Crataegus pinnatifida BUNGE extract was effective on the lipid concentrations in sera of dietary hypercholesterolemic rats.

화학장치설비의 유해독성가스 누출에 대한 분산모델링 방법론 (Dispersion Modeling Methodology for Hazardous/Toxic Gas Releases from Chemical Plant Facilities)

  • 본 연구는 화학장치설비중 저장탱크에서 누출된 유해독성가스인 염소의 풍하거리에 따른 10분 평균, 30분 평균 및 1시간 평균 최대 지표면 농도를 산출하여 염소가스의 법적 규제농도인 IDLH 및 ERPG-3 농도들과 비교함으로써 유해위험거리 (hazard distance) 또는 독성완충거리 (toxic buffer distance)를 정량적으로 예측하는 분산모델링 방법론을 개발하고자 수행되었다. 본 분산모델링을 위하여 누출원모델, 분산모델, 기상 및 지형자료들 이 SuperChems 모델에 입력자료로 사용되었으며, 대기의 안정도, 풍속, 표면거칠기 길이의 변화에 따른 지표면 농도의 영향이 평가되었다.

Forecasting daily PM10 concentrations in Seoul using various data mining techniques

  • Interest in $PM_{10}$ concentrations have increased greatly in Korea due to recent increases in air pollution levels. Therefore, we consider a forecasting model for next day $PM_{10}$ concentration based on the principal elements of air pollution, weather information and Beijing $PM_{2.5}$. If we can forecast the next day $PM_{10}$ concentration level accurately, we believe that this forecasting can be useful for policy makers and public. This paper is intended to help forecast a daily mean $PM_{10}$, a daily max $PM_{10}$ and four stages of $PM_{10}$ provided by the Ministry of Environment using various data mining techniques. We use seven models to forecast the daily $PM_{10}$, which include five regression models (linear regression, Randomforest, gradient boosting, support vector machine, neural network), and two time series models (ARIMA, ARFIMA). As a result, the linear regression model performs the best in the $PM_{10}$ concentration forecast and the linear regression and Randomforest model performs the best in the $PM_{10}$ class forecast. The results also indicate that the $PM_{10}$ in Seoul is influenced by Beijing $PM_{2.5}$ and air pollution from power stations in the west coast.

다목적 최적화기법을 활용한 상수도 공급계통 잔류염소농도 최적운영 모델 개발 (Development of optimization model for booster chlorination in water supply system using multi-objective optimization method)

  • In this study, a model to optimize residual chlorine concentrations in a water supply system was developed using a multi-objective genetic algorithm. Moreover, to quantify the effects of optimized residual chlorine concentration management and to consider customer service requirements, this study developed indices to quantify the spatial and temporal distributions of residual chlorine concentration. Based on the results, the most economical operational method to manage booster chlorination was derived, which would supply water that satisfies the service level required by consumers, as well as the cost-effectiveness and operation requirements relevant to the service providers. A simulation model was then created based on an actual water supply system (i.e., the Multi-regional Water Supply W in Korea). Simulated optimizations were successful, evidencing that it is possible to meet the residual chlorine concentration demanded by consumers at a low cost.

  • The present study has been conducted to analytically investigate the thermal control performance of variable conductance heat pipe(YCHP) with axial grooves. The condenser port of the YCHP is occupied by a inert gas in which the concentration of gas is varied with the operation temperature and the heat transport capacity is thus varied with the operating temperature due to the variation of inert gas concentration. In this study, numerical evaluation for the thermal control of the YCHP with axial grooves is made from the 1st order diffusion model that considers the diffusive expansion of inert gas by concentration gradient. Ammonia is used as a working fluid and Nitrogen as a control gas in the Aluminum tube. As a result, the thermal performance of YCHP based on diffusion model has been compared with that of YCHP from flat front model. Additionally, it is found that the concentration of inert gas is distributed in the condenser region of YCHP with axial grooves.

가스계 혼합소화약제의 불꽃소화농도 (Flame Extinguishing Concentrations of Mixed Gaseous Agents)

  • 가스계 혼합소화약제의 소화성능을 검토하기 위하여 Cup-burner test장치를 설치하고 이성분계 및 삼성분계 혼합물의 불꽃소화농도를 측정하였다. 시험대상 이성분계 혼합물은 이산화탄소/HFC-23, 이산화탄소/HCFC-22, 이산화탄소/HFC-227ea, 이산화탄소/HFC-125, 이산화탄소/FIC-13I1, Hexafluoropropylene/HFC-23이고 삼성분계 흔합물은 이산화탄소/HFC-237HFC-l34a, 이산화탄소/HFC-23/HFC-227ea, 이산화탄소/HFC-23/HFC-125이다. Cup-burner test장치에서 측정된 가스계 혼합물의 소화농도는 단일성분의 소화농도와 혼합물의 구성비로 이루어진 모델에 의해 잘 예측됨을 알 수 있었다. 특히 이 모델은 혼합물의 구성성분이 물리적 소화성능을 지닐 때 잘 적용되며 화학적 소화성능의 영향이 강해질수록 측정값과의 오차가 커진다.

Factorial design에 의한 Acetobacter xylinum KJ1의 Bacterial cellulose 생산조건의 최적화

  • Acetobacter xylinum KJ1 efficiently producing bacterial cellulose(BC) in shaking culture was isolated from a rotten grape. The strain was used to investigate optimum operating conditions for increasing BC production and factorial design model was employed for the optimization. The results of experiments were statistically analyzed by SAS program. Reciprocal effects of each factors(carbon source concentration, shaking speeds(rpm), oxygen pressure, and CSL concentration) and culture condition of BC production were examined by getting regression equation of the dependent variable. Comparisons between experimental results and predicted results about BC concentration were done in total 24 experiments by combination of each factors using SAS program, and the correlation coefficients of BC concentration and BC yield were 0.91 and 0.81, respectively. The agitated cultures were performed in various operation conditions of factors which affected considerably to BC production in jar fermentor. The results showed that BC concentration was 11.67g/ L in 80 hours cultivation under the condition of carbon source concentration shaking speeds(rpm) : oxygen pressure: CSL concentration = 4% : 460rpm : 0.28 : 6%. On the other hand BC yield was 0.42g/g in 80 hours cultivation under the condition of carbon source concentration shaking speeds(rpm) : oxygen pressure: CSL concentration = 4% : 564rpm : 0.21 : 2%. The BC production could be enhanced up to more than 65.3% by factorial design. The result of a verifying experiment under the optimal conditions determined by the factorial design to the BC production showed that the model was appropriate by obtaining BC concentration of 11.02g/L in the optimum condition
