Network Modelling for Road Intersections (교차로 네트워크 모형화 방법)

  • This paper presents an algorithm to develop network models for road intersections. These models represent microscopic traffic movement in the intersections, and thus can be used to computerize the road data for a detailed analysis or simulation.

  • In order to computerize the sight reduction process completely, the coordinates of celestial bodies have to be calculated. The author calculates the equtorial coordinates of the sun and stars using formulae by computer programming. And they are compared with data from an nautical almanac. Generally, data based on formulae is slightly less accurate than those derived from an nautical almanac. In the case of calculating coordinates of the sun, maximum error of GHA is $0{'\\.}2$, and that of declination is $0{'\\.}1$.

  • A control for Steam Generator (S/C) level is very difficult by automatic control mode but also manual control node during plant start up and/or low power level operation with the analog control system because of a non-nominal process responce.   • 최근 전산화의 세계적인 추세는 정보의 공유와 공동활용에 있다. 그러나 국내의 사정은 모든 도서관이 이런 필요성을 인정하면서도 자관의 이해득실 때문에 어려운 현실이다. 코넷협의회는 이러한 필요성을 바탕으로 1994년 국내 대학도서관끼리 최초로 발족되어 상호신뢰와 호양의 정신으로 운영되고 있다. 물론 현재 만족스러운 상황은 아니지만 국내의 선례가 없기에 나름대로 현장에서 최선을 다하고 있다. 따라서 본 연구는 코넷협의회 발족 및 운영 현황과 시스템 관리자가 유의해야 될 사항 등을 사례별로 논하고자 한다.

  • In this paper we introduce an applicable RCM(Reliability centered maintenance) method for Track circuit equipment of AREX's Signalling System. AREX computerize all the process of FRACAS(Failure Reporting, Analysis and Corrective Action System)) by the Facility Management System of Integrated Information System. These datum were analysed and reproduced as the RAMS index value which can be used by maintenance staff for optimizing the maintenance method of the System.

  • A computerization project was completed in Korea to computerize the paper cadastral maps in sheet and tile format in 2003. There were errors, which had not been found during the computerization project, as a part of efforts to implement the cadastral database. The drawing mismatching one of those errors, which has caused inconvenience to surveyors in providing the survey results in the cadastral survey. This study suggested the plan for the preparation of the accurative continuous cadastral mapping by field surveying eliminating the drawing mismatching, which may cause inconvenience to surveyors during the field surveying.

  • The preliminary stage of structural design is very crucial step whose results have great effects on the structural performance, construction, economy, and aesthetics through the following design stages. However, it is extremely difficult to computerize the information and knowledge used in the preliminary design stage because it lacks of formality of representation of designers' experience and intuition. To address such issue the concept of an artificial neural network has been adopted to develop preliminary design system for cable-stayed bridges in this paper. The artificial neural network has been proved that it has the ability of learning design experience and providing a good design alternative.

  • An assembly package program is developed for a computerize4 operation of a drilling machine system utilizing a microprocessor. Different drilling instruction requires merely the input of different sets of input data. To make pulse motors to follow their input pulse trains with fidelity, an optimum start-stop rate matrix is proposed, whose elements are determined according to the pulse motor torque and the load inertia of the mechanical system composed of a workpiece and a worktable.

  • For several years, a research about the simulation for shipyard and shipbuilding has been performed. This research is based on the concept of PLM (Product Lifecycle Management) and DM (Digital Manufacturing). Global leading companies and research center are trying to get a good position of PLM, especially M&S field. Digital shipbuilding is to computerize shipyard facilities and shipbuilding processes, and to simulate expected scenarios of shipbuilding processes using a computer model in order to resolve a potential problem such as a bottleneck processes, and over loaded resources. In this paper, simulation methodology for shipbuilding is described. In addition, a local and global strategy for the use of simulation methodology is suggested. Finally, case studies about an indoor shop and an outdoor shop are described.

  • In the design of an electric power plant, the capacity to meet the peak load demand is one of the important factors to be considered. This peak load usually occurs when the most of the cooling air-conditioning systems are being operated during daytime in summer season. Therefore, it is necessary to construct an additional electric power plant and to develop the new air-conditioning system for relieving the peak load. This paper analysed the performance characteristics of this experimental regenerative ice energy system by means of a bundle of the heat-pipes. And the result of this analysis was applied to the simulation of an air-conditioning system model. Also, an operation program of moisture air was made according to air load and in order to computerize the air-conditioning system a CAD program was developed by the properties of moisture air.
