HVDC 컨버터의 Thyristor Valve 시험을 위한 새로운 합성시험회로 (A New Synthetic Test Circuit for Testing Thyristor Valve in HVDC Converter)

  • This paper proposes a new synthetic test circuit (STC) to confirm the switching operation of thyristor valve in HVDC converter. The proposed STC uses a 6-pulse thyristor converter with 2-phase chopper as a high-current source to provide turn-on current to the test valve. The operation of proposed STC was verified through theoretical analysis and computer simulations. Based on computer simulations, a hardware scaled model was built and tested to confirm the feasibility of implementing a real-size test facility. The proposed system has an advantage of simple structure and operation over the existing system.

  • NSSS Control Systems automatically mitigate transient conditions and leads to a stable plant condition without operator actions when a transient occurs during normal power operation. In this paper, the function and performance of NSSS control systems were examined and evaluated by comparing the predicted results with the measured data for the selected events. Loss of a Main Feedwater Pump and Load Rejection to House Load Operation events were selected for the evaluation among the transient tests peformed during the Power Ascension Test (PAT) of UCN unit 4. The overall schematic control actions of NSSS control systems can be evaluated easily through the observation of these two typical events. The selected events were analyzed by the KISPAC computer code[l] which had been used in developing the control logic and determining the control setpoints during the plant design. Additionally, the performance of FWCS during low power operation was evaluated. The result of evaluation showed that the NSSS control systems were designed properly and the performance of the NSSS control systems was excellent and also the computer code had a good prediction capability.

  • Twofish 암호알고리즘은 AES인 Rijndael 암호알고리즘에 비하여 알고리즘 자체가 간결하며, 구현의 용이성이 좋지만 처리속도가 느린 단점을 가진다. 그러므로 본 논문은 Twofish 암호알고리즘의 속도를 향상시키기 위하여 개선된 MDS 블록을 설계하였다. 기존 MDS 블록은 Twofish 암호시스템의 critical path를 점유하게 되는 블록으로서 처리속도의 병목현상으로 인한 속도저하의 문제점이 존재하였다. MDS 블록에서 연산자로 사용되는 곱셈연산을 감소시키기 위하여 본 논문은 LUT 연산과 modul-2o연산을 사용하여 MDS자체에 대한 속도저하 및 병목현상을 제거하였다 이러한 결과로 새롭게 설계된 MDS블록을 포함하는 Twofish 암호시스템은 기존 Twofish 암호시스템에 비하여 10$\%$정도 처리속도의 향상을 가져옴을 확인하였다.

  • 본 논문에서는 입력패턴을 triple rail-coding 방식으로 표현한 후 입력의 직렬연결 방법으로 기호치환을 수행하는 광 병렬 변형부호화자리수 가산 시스템을 제안하였다. Triple rail-coding 방식으로 변형부호화자리수 입력을 표현할 때 중복연산 결과가 나오는 입력들은 동일한 패턴으로 전처리하여 기호치환과정의 규칙수를 줄였고, 광 구현시 공간 이동된 입력패턴을 직렬로 연결하여 광을 통과시킴으로써 공간 이동 연산, NOR 연산, 그리고 문턱치 연산과정이 필요 없는 광 가산기를 구현하였다.

  • In this paper, a flux-lock type superconducting fault current limiter(SFCL) integrated with a voltage-controlled voltage source inverter(VC-VSI) is proposed. The suggested equipment, which consists of a flux-lock type SFCL and a VCVSI, can perform the fault current limiting operation from the occurrence of a short-circuit. In addition, it can compensate the reactive power that the non-linear load requires and also perform the uninterruptible power supply(UPS) as well as the load voltage stabilization by controlling the amplitude and the phase of the inverter's output voltage. The specification for a test model was determined and its various functions such as the fault current limiting and the power conditioning operations were presented and analyzed via computer simulation. Through the analytical results based on the computer simulation, the validity of the analysis was confirmed and its multi-operation was discussed.

  • This paper presents a novel analysis, design, and implementation of a battery charging three-phase high frequency semi-controlled power converter feasible for plug-in hybrid electric vehicles. The main advantages of the proposed topology include high efficiency; due to lower power losses and reduced number of switching elements, high output power density realization, and reduced passive component ratings proportionally to the frequency. Additional advantages also include grid economic utilization by insuring unity power factor operation under different possible conditions and robustness since short-circuit through a leg is not possible. A high but acceptable total harmonic distortion of the generator currents is introduced in the proposed topology which can be viewed as a minor disadvantage when compared to traditional boost rectifiers. A hysteresis control algorithm is proposed to achieve lower current harmonic distortion for the rectifier operation. The rectifier topology concept, the principle of operation, and control scheme are presented. Additionally, a dc-dc converter is also employed in the rectifier-battery connection. Test results on 50-kHz power converter system are presented and discussed to confirm the effectiveness of the proposed topology for PHEV applications.

  • 객체기반 예약스케줄링 기법은 제약만족문제(CSP; Constraint Satisfaction Problem)와 객체지향개념(Object-Oriented Concepts)을 기반으로 승무원 객체들이 갖고 있는 사건들을 주어진 제약들에 만족하도록 목표인 운항스케줄 보드에 배정하는 기법이다. 본 논문에서는 객체기반 예약스케줄링기법을 항공운항 스케줄에 적용하여 승무원(운항승무원, 객실승무원)들의 운항 스케줄 만족도를 향상시키고, 승무원들에 대한 인력관리상의 문제점들을 해결하고자 하였다 특히, 승무원들의 운항스케줄에 대한 만족도를 향상시키기 위해서 전체승무원 선호도보드를 이용하였다. 승무원들의 스케줄 우선순위에 따라서 자원(타임 슬롯)을 배정하고, 자원에 대한 승무원들의 선호도 차이를 가질 수 있게 하였다. 보드에 대한 정의와 모든 사건들에 대한 정보를 전역제약으로 사용하고, 승무원들이 가지는 보드의 타임 슬롯들에 대한 선호도를 지역 제약으로 사용하였다. 또한 실제로 항공운항 스케줄링을 모의실험해서 승무원들의 운항 스케줄 만족도를 살펴보았다.

  • 방화벽은 네트워크를 보호하기 위한 보안시스템으로 Trusted 네트워크 구축에 있어 필수적인 시스템이라 할 수 있다. 그러나 이러한 방화벽은 비효율적인 정책과 불필요한 트래픽으로 전체 네트워크의 성능을 약 60%이상까지 저하시킨다. 따라서 방화벽의 효율적인 운영과 재배치, 네트워크 성능 개선이 절실히 필요하다. 본 논문에서는 방화벽의 기능에 따른 시뮬레이션 결과를 통해 방화벽의 각 기능이 네트워크 성능에 미치는 영향을 분석하고, 효과적인 네트워크 운용을 위한 Exclusive 방화벽 구축을 제안한다.

선로변 시설물 차상제어를 위한 차상중심 열차제어시스템의 통신 연속성 시험 (Communication Consecutive Test of Train Oriented Control System for Wayside Equipment Control)

  • To improve the efficiency and safety of railway systems, the train control system has been considerably evolved from the ground-equipment-based control system (e.g. track circuit, interlocking system, etc.) into the on-board-equipment-based control system. In addition, this train control system enables the rolling stock to intelligently control the trackside facilities by introducing the information and communication technologies (ICT). Accordingly, since the ICT-based train control system makes the railway system be simplified (i.e. the heavy ground-equipment can be removed), the efficient and cost-effective railway system can be realized. In this paper, we perform the feasibility test of the ICT-based train control system via a simulation. To this end, we have developed the prototypes of the on-board controller and wayside object control units which control the point and crossing gate and performed the integrated operation simulation in a testbed. In this paper, before the field test of the on-board-controller-based train control system, we perform the Consecutive operation test for prototypes of the on-board controller, wayside object control units and local control computer.

An Empirical Study on the Operation of Cogeneration Generators for Heat Trading in Industrial Complexes

  • In this study, we introduce a model that satisfies energy efficiency and economical efficiency by introducing and demonstrating cogeneration generators in industrial complexes using various actual data collected at the site. The proposed model is composed of three scenarios, ie, full - time operation, scenario operated according to demand, and a fusion type. In this study, the power generation profit and surplus thermal energy are measured according to the operation of the generator, and the thermal energy is traded according to the demand of the customer to calculate the profit and loss including the heat and evaluate the economic efficiency. As a result of the study, it is relatively profitable to reduce the generation of the generator under the condition that the electricity rate is low and the gas rate is high, while the basic charge is not increased. On the contrary, if the electricity rate is high and the gas rate is low, The more you start up, the more profit you can see. These results show that even a cogeneration power plant with a low economic efficiency due to a low "spark spread" has sufficient economic value if it can sell more than a certain amount of heat energy from a nearby customer and adjust the applied power through peak management.
