TIP기술을 이용한 3차원 배경 영상 구축에 관한 연구 (A Study on 3D Background Image Construction using TIP)

  • In this paper we propose the methodology for 3D background image construction in computer games. This methodology was developed based on TIP (Tour Into the Picture) using a vanishing line Proposed by Kang et at. The methodology Proposed in this study can simply implement a 3D background for a computer game with a background model which is very complex or based on a real picture. Compared to the graphics technologies generally used, the proposed methodology does not need the process of modeling elaborate 3D information of a background, and hence can display the background even on a low grade personal computer using a small reference image. TIP technology was successfully applied to the implementation of a background model for a computer game and was found to be appropriate especially for real time games.

  • This report describes the analysis method of the full-scale propulsive performance by using the data of model test and the full-scale speed trial. The model test data were analyzed by the computer program "PPTT" based on "1978 ITTC Performance Prediction Method for Single Screw Ships." Also the full-scale speed trial data were analyzed by the computer program "SSTT" based on the newly proposed “SRS-KIMM Standard Method of Speed Trial Analysis." An analysis of model and full-scale test data was carried out for a 60.000 DWT Bulk Carrier and the correlation between model and full-scale ship was stuied.

  • In this paper, we propose the new emotion model and the robot behavior decision model based on proposed emotion model. As like in human, emotions are hierarchicalized in four levels (momentary emotions, mood, attitude, and personality) and are determined from the robot behavior and human responses. They are combined with motivation (which is determined from the external stimuli) to determine the robot behavior.

  • In this paper, we propose a randomized response model with discrete quantitative attribute by three-stage cluster sampling for obtaining discrete quantitative data by using the Liu & Chow model(1976), when the population was made up of sensitive discrete quantitative clusters. We obtain the minimum variance by calculating the optimum number of fsu, ssu, tsu under the some given constant cost. And we obtain the minimum cost under the some given accuracy.

  • This paper designed Object-orientid Meta_data operation module that introducted new Meta_class basis the Meta_Classfication model. In order to implement this Data model, we have introducted heurilistic class to traditional object-orinted database. And we designed Meta_data operation module for Inplemetated Meta_data that basis on the heurilistic classficasion model using stored Meta_data in extened object-oriend data model.

  • A computer simulation model for optimum design and determination of optimal operational parameter values for modern container terminal systems was developed through the use of GASP-IV, a subset of SLAM. Input data reflecting current system configuration and operational practices at Pusan container terminal was used to test the model, which resulted in its validation. Possibilities for application of the model in areas of candidate system comparisons, operational parameter testing and forecasting operational performance under future traffic situations, are explained.

  • This paper proposes a computer model for airline overbooking. The model is constructed in such as way that users feel easy to find the daily optimal number of additional customers given the reservations already bookded on that day by providing the appropriate cost of denied boarding. In this model, however, the reservations are restricted only up to 40 seats due to the limited P.C. capability. Heuristic approaches may be highly recommended for the larger number of reservations.

An Estimation of The Unknown Theory Constants Using A Simulation Predictor

  • A statistical method is described for estimation of the unknown constants in a theory using both of the computer simulation data and the real experimental data, The best linear unbiased predictor based on a spatial linear model is fitted from the computer simulation data alone. Then nonlinear least squares estimation method is applied to the real experimental data using the fitted prediction model as if it were the true simulation model. An application to the computational nuclear fusion devices is presented, where the nonlinear least squares estimates of four transport coefficients of the theoretical nuclear fusion model are obtained.

  • 일반적으로 축구 비디오 데이터는 멀티모달과 멀티레이어 속성을 지닌다. 이러한 데이터를 다루기 적합한 모델은 동적 베이지안 네트워크(Dynamic Bayesian Network: DBN) 형태의 위계적 은닉 마르코프 모델(Hierarchical Hidden Markov Model: HHMM)이다. 이러한 HHMM 중 다중속성의 특징들이 서로 상호작용하는 PHHMM(Product Hierarchical Hidden Markov Model)이 있다. 본 논문에서는 PHHMM 을 축구 경기의 Play/Break 이벤트 검색 및 분석에 적용하였고 바람직한 결과를 얻었다.

  • We can reduce delays and number of stops in the traffic area by means of optimal design of traffic signal system. A computer simulation model to simulate and predict the traffic signal system of Jong-Ro 4-th street was developed for determination of optimal cycle time. This simulation model was developed in relation to Jong-Ro 4-th street, but this model can be applied for other places with small modification.
