Purpose: The Purpose of this study was to investigate the relationship between state anxiety and maternal fetal attachment of unmarried mothers in a welfare center. Methods: The subjects were 25 unmarried mothers in a welfare center. The data was collected through personal interviews using a questionnaire. The instruments used for this study were the modified Spielberger's state anxiety inventory and Cranley's Maternal-Fetal Attachment Scale. Data was analyzed descriptive statistics, mean, standard deviation, t-test and the pearson correlation coefficient with the SPSS computer program. Results: The age of the subjects ranged from 15 to 25, and their average age was 20.0. The mean score of state anxiety was 58.2. There was significant difference in the degree of maternal state anxiety between the group whose pregnancy was known by their family and the group whose pregnancy was hidden. The group whose pregnancy was known showed a low state anxiety score. There was a significant difference in the degree of maternal state anxiety by the gestational period. The group who were in the second and third gestational trimester showed lower state anxiety score than in the first trimester. The mean score of maternal-fetal attachment(MFA) was 64.9. There were significant differences in the degree of maternal fetal attachment, by an ultrasound scan experience. The most frequently practiced attachment item was "I think the fetus is able to feel(mean 3.8)". Unmarried mothers degree of state anxiety showed a negative correlation with the degree of maternal fetal attachment(r=-.25), but there was no significant difference between the two variables. Conclusions: The unmarried mothers made an effort in striving to reduce their high state anxiety and to enhance maternal fetal attachment. They also realize how to take care of their state anxiety.
The purpose of this research was to measure the effect of a gestalt group meditation therapy intervention program on occupational stress and anxiety in working women aged 30 to 49 in Korea. Scientific methods were employed to test a gestalt group meditation therapy intervention program as treatment for working women in 30-40s to reduce their level of occupational stress and anxiety. The study involved 18 volunteer subjects ages of 30 to 49 years, randomly divided into two groups: (1) gestalt group meditation therapy intervention program, and (2) no program. Both groups completed a pre-test and a post-test of occupational stress scale and trait anxiety inventory. The outcome data was analyzed as qual1litative information using the SPSSPC+ computer program. Mann-Whitney U test was used to analyze the result in order to verify the sameness between experienced group and controlled group of pre-test scores within the groups. Also U-test comparisons were used to analyze the treatment effects. The results of this investigation indicated that (1) occupational stress scores decrease after gestalt group meditation therapy intervention program on the treatment group, and (2) trait-anxiety scores decrease after gestalt group meditation therapy intervention program on the treatment group. In summary, the gestalt group meditation therapy intervention program for career women, aged 30 to 49, in Korea could reduce the subjects' occupational stress and anxiety.

Contemporary societal and environmental transformations coincide with the emergence of novel mental health challenges. anxiety disorder, a chronic and highly debilitating illness, presents with diverse clinical manifestations. Epidemiological investigations indicate a global prevalence of 5%, with an additional 10% exhibiting subclinical symptoms. Notably, 9% of adolescents demonstrate clinical features. Untreated, anxiety disorder exerts profound detrimental effects on individuals, families, and the broader community. Therefore, it is very meaningful to predict anxiety disorder through machine learning algorithm analysis model. The main research content of this paper is the analysis of the prediction model of anxiety disorder by machine learning algorithms. The research purpose of machine learning algorithms is to use computers to simulate human learning activities. It is a method to locate existing knowledge, acquire new knowledge, continuously improve performance, and achieve self-improvement by learning computers. This article analyzes the relevant theories and characteristics of machine learning algorithms and integrates them into anxiety disorder prediction analysis. The final results of the study show that the AUC of the artificial neural network model is the largest, reaching 0.8255, indicating that it is better than the other two models in prediction accuracy. In terms of running time, the time of the three models is less than 1 second, which is within the acceptable range.

The purpose of this study is to find out whether smartphone overdependence serves as a significant mediating effect in the relationship of anxiety and school life adjustment to prevent and reduce problems of anxiety and smartphone overdependence among university students and to seek alternatives to improve school life adjustment. For this purpose, a structural equation model analysis was conducted on male and female university students attending a four-year university located in Gwangju Metropolitan City to verify the mediated effect. As the result of the analysis, The mediating effects of smartphone overdependence were statistically significant and presented as a partial medium, showing the direct effect of anxiety directly affecting school life adjustment and the indirect effect of anxiety on school life adjustment by means of smartphone overdependence. Based on these findings, the significance of the study and its implications were discussed, and suggestions were put forward for further study.
The purposes of this study were to examine: (1) the extent to which school-age children used computer games; (2) whether there were differences between children who played computer games to a greater extent and children who played computer games to a normal extent in their levels of depression, anxiety, self-esteem, and social anxiety; and (3) whether children's social withdrawal, aggression, and mothers' psychological control explained the extent of children's computer game playing. The subject were 270 children in the 6th grade. It was found that $55.6\%$ of the children were normal users, $39.3\%$ of the children were somewhat heavy users, and $5.2\%$ of the children were heavy users of computer games. There was a gender difference in the proportions of heavy computer game playing. That is, there were more heavy users among boys than among girls. It was also found that social withdrawal, aggression, and mothers' psychological control were significant predictors of the extent of children's computer game playing. That is, the levels of children's social withdrawal, aggression, and their perceptions of mothers' psychological control predicted the degree to which children played computer games.
Purpose: The Purpose of this study was to investigate relationships between maternal fetal attachment and state anxiety for pregnant women in preterm labor. Methods: The subjects consisted of 56 pregnant women in preterm labor on C hospital. The data were analyzed using SPSS computer program that includes descriptive statistics, mean, standard deviation, t-test, ANOVA, Scheffe? test and Pearson correlation coefficient. Results: Age distribution was 30~39 years of age. Mean score of maternal fetal attachment was 91.50. The group whose planned pregnancy was highest showed higher maternal fetal attachment. The primigravida group showed high maternal fetal attachment. Most frequently practiced attachment item was: "I'm really looking forward to seeing what the baby looks like". The next was was: "I enjoy watching my tummy jiggle as the baby kicks inside". There was no difference in degree of anxiety by general and obstetrical characteristics. There was statistically significant of negative correlation between maternal fetal attachment and state anxiety for pregnant women with preterm labor. Conclusion: Findings provide useful information for further studies in reducing anxiety and intervention programs relating to pregnancy and preterm labor. To increase maternal fetal attachment of pregnant women with preterm labor, it is necessary to standardize prenatal education program.
The purpose of this study was to investigate whether Korean children's being addiction to computer game had an effect on physical health(headache, insomnia, indigestion, cardivascular). We considered both direct effects of that addiction and indirect effects which caused an negative emotion(anxiety). For this study, we collected data from 800 students of grades and 6 in Daejeon, Korea. Among them, we analyzed the data of 572 students[408 boys(71.3%) and 164 girls(28.7%) respectively] who had played computer games for a long period of time(two years or more). Reliability of the scale used on this study was a proper level by $.64{\sim}.91$ and we operated an analysis of structural equation pattern to make relationships of variable causes clear. As a result of examining an index of fitness of each model, it was proved for the fitness of every model(all GFI >.931, all CFI >.939, all NNFI >.929, all RMSEA <.046) to be acceptable. Not only the computer game addiction affected(all ps<.001) directly on physical symptoms(headache ${\beta}$=.211, insomnia ${\beta}$=.289, indigestion ${\beta}$ =.214, cardivascular ${\beta}$=.349), but also it affected(${\beta}$=.458, p<.001) on anxiety. In addition, the effect of anxiety on physical symptoms(headache ${\beta}$=.419, insomnia ${\beta}$=.375, indigestion ${\beta}$=.498, cardivascular ${\beta}$=.328) was significant. As a result of yielding the indirect effects of computer game abuse mediated by anxiety, headache was measured up ${\beta}$=.192, insomnia ${\beta}$=.172, indigestion ${\beta}$ =.228 and cardivascular ${\beta}$=.151. The computer game addiction caused 21% of anxiety and this mediate model proved that the computer game addiction caused 30% of headache, 32% of insomnia, 39% of indigestion, and 34% of cardivascular symptom. As a result of this study, the computer game addiction has a negative effect on physical health both directly and indirectly. Especially, cardivascular was influenced most extremely, then insomnia, indigestion, and headache in order. The implications gleaned from this study were discussed with considerations for future study and practical aspect.
Purpose: The purpose of this study was to examine the relationship among fear of falling, pain, anxiety and depression, and to identify influencing factors in elderly women patients with degenerative arthritis living in the community. Method: The subjects of this study were 297 elderly women patients with degenerative arthritis. Data was collected by personal interviews using questionnaires. Data was analyzed by the SPSS(version 12.0) computer program, and it included descriptive statistics, one-way ANOVA, Pearson correlation coefficient, and Stepwise multiple regression. Results: There was a significant difference (p= .000) in fear of falling according to the level of pain, anxiety, and depression. There was a significant positive correlation among fear of falling, pain, anxiety and depression. Depression, pain, number of medication, age, and anxiety showed significant predictors (43.5%) for fear of falling. Conclusion: This study suggested that thoroughly assessing predictors making an impact on fear of falling in the initial nursing assessment is the most important for falls prevention of elderly women patients with degenerative arthritis in the community.
Purpose: Despite the existence of Snoezelen method, there is no case of researching the effects on game addiction. Therefore, this study aims to investigate the effects of Snoezelen therapy on stress, depression, anxiety and quality of life of college students who overuse computer games or mobile phone games. Methods: Eight students who responded to spend more than 30 hours of computer or mobile phone games in the selection questionnaire were recruited (The total respondents were 224 students). Students were randomly assigned to either the study group (4 students) or the control group (4 students). Stress (Korean version of Perceived Stress Scale, K-PSS), depression (Korean Screening Tool for Depression Disorders, K-DEP), Anxiety (Korean Beck Anxiety Inventory, K-BAI) and quality of life (Short Form Health Survey version 2 [SF-36]) were assessed three times (before intervention [pre], post-3 weeks [post 1], post-6 weeks [post 2]). Results: First, the study group (-4.75±3.86) and control group (1.00±2.71) showed significant difference (p<0.05) in the analysis of score changes between pre-test and test at 6 weeks (post 2) for K-DEP. Next, pre-test and test at 3 weeks of intervention (post 1) for K-BAI showed significant difference (p<0.05) in the study group (-2.50±1.91) and control group (2.25±2.99). In addition, pre-test and test at 6 weeks (post 2) showed significant difference (p<0.05) for the study group (-3.00±1.51) and control group (4.75±6.24). Conclusion: The study confirmed the possibility of Snoezelen therapy as a therapy method to induce effective responses in stress, depression, anxiety, and quality of life of college students with game addiction.
