For this study, relevant literatures and articles on CFCRS were collected and analyzed. This study summarized the characteristics of CFCRS from the perspectives of the running purpose, cooperation modes, and evaluation and quality management. The results show that the main characteristics of CFCRS are to promote the comprehensive development of China's higher education and cultivate talents for imminent national development by introducing the advanced educational resources and experience, to achieve the purpose of "not studying abroad" through diversified and high-quality co-operation programs, to conduct strict quality management over the introduction and operation stages, and to establish legal grounds by establishing enough relevant policies. Based on the results, this study proposes several areas of improvement such as the introduction and operation of foreign curriculum in Korea to foster global talents, enhancement of the evaluation and management of cooperation programs and institutions with foreign universities, regulation and examination of the foreign university curriculum introduction, and normalization of the curriculum operation through the policy review process and related policies.
This research analyzes the effect of the competitive edge in Information Communication Technology (ICT) on supply chain integration in business processes through a comparative analysis by industry that suggests a way of achieving competitive edge in ICT for effective supply chain integration. Based on the theoretical background, there are two research hypotheses. The first hypothesis is about the effect of a competitive edge in ICT on the supply chain. The second is that the effect of the competitive edge on supply chain integration varies from industry to industry. ICT infrastructure must be acquired in advance in order to attain a competitive edge in ICT to secure corporate competitiveness. Building a competitive edge in ICT itself by methods such as introduction, integration, and application, can directly improve company results. Therefore, it must be utilized strategically for improvement in standards of supply chain integration like information integration, organization integration, and strategy integration. If supply chain integration is accomplished effectively by gaining competitive edge in ICT, company results can be improved. By analyzing the effect of a company's competitive edge in ICT on supply chain integration, and comparing differences in features of each category of businesses, measures for developing a competitive edge in ICT and therefore supply chain integration are presented.

In the era of the 4th industrial revolution, countries around the world are conducting projects to rapidly expand smart factory to secure competitiveness in manufacturing industries. However, unlike existing factories where the network environment was closed, smart factories can be vulnerable because internal and external objects are interconnected and various ICT technologies are used. And smart factories are likely to be the subject of cyber-attacks that are designed to cause monetary damage to certain targets because economic damage is so serious when an accident occurs. Therefore, it is necessary to study and apply security for smart factories, but there is no specific smart factory system architecture, so there is no establish for smart factory security requirements. In order to solve these problems, this paper derives the smart factory architecture that can extract and reflect the main characteristics of a smart factory based on the domestic and foreign reference model of smart factories. And this paper identifies the security threats based on the derived smart factory architecture and present the security requirements to cope with them for contributing to the improvement of the security of the smart factory.

Service companies are making constant efforts to gain positive business performance such as customer satisfaction, quality improvement, and valuable management. Compared to other industries, service companies are highly dependent on workers for responding to customers and satisfying various customer needs in terms of business content and type. Thus, the attitude, given, environment, and capacity of the workers who supply service and serve customers are important factors that directly and indirectly influence customer satisfaction and performance. To enhance the performance of organizations and gain competitive advantage, it is important to provide the various forms of social support for workers as service suppliers. In this sense, active interests including the development of personal competence, support for working environment, and providing chances for the development of new services are significant. This study is a follow-up study on the influence of social support for positive psychological capital, creativity, and work performance of service workers. Among the service process matrix, this study targets the workers involved in mass service fields and seeks to examine how support for co-worker influences the performance through self-efficacy. No empirical analysis has examined workers involved in mass service fields. Thus, this study aims to take an approach different from that of previous studies and to suggest more effective human resource management strategies for enhancing the competitiveness of service companies and provide related implications.

The present situations of the education and training systems for the response to marine HNS spill incidents in domestic and foreign countries were reviewed and the plans to improve domestic system were suggested on the basis of the comparison between domestic and foreign education systems. There were almost no private education and training institutions in Korea, and they have not been activated, compared with those of foreign countries such as USA, Canada, Australia and UK. The domestic marine HNS-related education has been implemented uniformly under Korean government initiative. In addition, there were differences in the targets and duration of the education offered by Korea Coast Guard Academy (KCGA) and Marine Environment Research & Training Institute (MERTI) in Korea. Domestic HNS-related curriculum was relatively simple, compared with the curricula of foreign countries, and has not accepted two levels (operational level and manager level) required in HNS model courses of International Maritime Organization (IMO). The domestic education and training period was short relatively to those of foreign countries. The following suggestions were made to improve the education and training system for the response to domestic marine chemical incidents. In the short term, an HNS education and training management consultation body (tentative name) should be established, with both KCGA and MERTI participating jointly while maintaining the current system of the two institutions (KCGA and MERTI) simultaneously. In the more distant and long term, the HNS-related departments of KCGA and MERTI should be incorporated into a National Marine HNS Response Academy (tentative name) as unified system to enable international competitiveness.
In order to implement smart cities that will become living spaces in the fourth industrial revolution era, detailed privacy information such as residents' living information, buildings and facilities information must be collected and processed in real time. While city functions and convenience for individuals are being facilitated, threats to personal information exposure and leakage are also likely to increase at the same time. Therefore, the design concept for personal information protection should be considered and accordingly reflected from the stages of smart city design, technology development and operation planning of intelligent information (AI) facilities. The results of the analysis show that for activation of smart cities and operation of data-driven cities, the concept of Privacy by Design (PbD) has already been introduced in the institutional, industrial and technological aspects, particularly in the cases of European countries and the US. In order to strengthen the local and global competitiveness of smart cities and the country, Korea also needs to actively deploy PbD as a strategy to secure a data-driven economy, which is the core strategy for smart cities. Therefore, the study suggests policy implications focused on approaches to legislative improvement and technology development support, which reflect the basic properties of PbD as defined in the study.

Recently, product design innovation to improve user experience has been perceived as a core element of enterprise competitiveness due to the fierce market competition and decrease of the technological gap between companies, but there is insufficient services to support the product experience evaluation of small and medium-sized companies (SMCs). The aim of this study is to develop a web-based product user experience evaluation and certification system supporting product design practices for SMCs. For system interface design, we conducted systematic functional requirement elicitation methods such as user survey, workflow analysis, user task definition, and function definition. Then main functions, information structure, navigation method, and detailed graphic user interfaces were developed with consideration of user interactions and requirements. In particular, it provides the databases for evaluation efficiency to support the evaluation process above a certain level of performance and efficiency, and knowledge databases to utilize in the evaluation and product design improvement. With help of the developed service platform, It is expected that the service platform would enhance SMCs' product development capability with regard to the user experience evaluation by connecting the consulting firms with SMCs.
In order for a company to grow through technological innovation, technological innovation capacity to support technological innovation is more important than anything else. In addition, the technology commercialization process can not be ignored in order to lead to the improvement of the business performance. In this context, this study analyzed the impact of firm's technological innovation capacity on business performance and tried to analyze whether technological innovation capacity has a moderating effect on technological innovation capacity. To analyze the purpose of this study, we collect data through questionnaires of small and medium venture companies located in the southeast region of korea. The results of multiple regression analysis based on 132 collected company survey data are summarized as follows. First, Technology innovation capacity has a positive effect on business performance. Specifically, companies with well-equipped R&D capabilities, technology accumulation capabilities, and technology innovation systems showed higher business performance(market competitiveness, business growth potential, and business profitability). Second, technology commercialization capacity has a positive effect on the effect of technological innovation capacity on business performance. This result implies that a company with a good technical commercialization capability increases the positive influence of technological innovation capacity on business performance. The results of this study suggest that it is important to systematically manage the technology commercialization capacity in order to generate business performance through technological innovation.

Traffic volume has been greatly increasing due to urban development and the improvement of living standards, and many complaints are being raised due to the increasing road noise. As a countermeasure against these problems, highly soundproof walls are installed on the sides of roads. However, the ability to bear wind loads is a major design requirement for soundproof walls, which contributes to the exponential increases in construction costs and restricts the height of the walls. The aim of this study is to improve the performance of soundproof walls and to dramatically reduce wind loads while maintaining excellent price competitiveness. Based on Helmholz's resonator theory, a new concept is proposed for a ventilation-type soundproofing plate that can pass through a fluid like air and reduce noise. A full-scale metal soundproofing plate was produced to satisfy the quality standards of highways by conducting a sound-pressure transmission-loss test, wind tunnel test, and material quality test. To verify the reliability, the wall was manufactured and installed, and the sound insulation effect was examined by measuring the noise over time. In the future, ventilated soundproof walls on roads could create a pleasant living environment due to the high noise-insulation effect.
