Korean foodservice's circulation industry has been developed with enforcement plan of circulation modernization for the purpose of circulation construction improvement in 1992 and revision plan of circulation modernization plan preparing circulation market opening in 1995. But Korean circulation step is still in an early stage compare the advanced nations, so it has a bad effect in case the price competition and the profits, A circulation industry has originally premodenization. But it could be changed leading industry of 21 century, because it can used not only latest technique through information network but also leisure market of consumption industry. We must be enough a purchase condition of direct transaction from a minimum of circulation in order to compete with new business industry of advanced nations. Threfore the scheme for the development of foodservice industry should be improve a circulation management environment of circulation company, also the government should be improve the system in the policy. Both the government and the enterprose must reinforce efforts for high level competition more than the present states. From the view point of the bedelayed industry of all industries, the chance of new business will be created more than others.

The current railway projects under plan, design, or construction have been designed as 'very long and deep underground tunnel'. Therefore, it is reasonable that the standards for preventing disaster in such conditions should be intensified in order to avoid repeating the same failure which happened in Daegu subway disaster, Although we consent to the opinion that nothing can compete with human being's life, it is very difficult to protect the life from all of potential disasters perfectly in railway fields because the excessive standards can result in excess construction cost, which can bring about cancelation of the project itself eventually. Therefore optimized disaster design standard is required to negotiate the conflict between economical cost and social tolerance limitation simultaneously.

This paper investigates the effect of competition on innovative activity. In the research contest, the foremost reason for limiting entry into tournaments is to raise the level of contestant's effort and to make the firms compete so that high value of innovation will be procured. Thus, a sponsor (or government) needs to take account into effort-inducing effect as well as effort-reducing effect from competition when she restricts entry. In this paper, this competition effect will be analyzed for the model of procurement for innovation, and it is shown that the individual effort level is not monotonic to the number of contestants.

The advent of Electronic Commerce is raising two hypothetical questions conflicting each other in economic point of view. The one is that cyberspace will eventually resolve the problem of economic disparity by presenting equal opportunities to local companies through the removal of barriers in terms of time and space. The other is that the problem of economic disparity will be amplified by the vicious cycle of reproduction on an enlarged scale residing in the new rules of digital economy. As an initial attempt to tackle the questions listed above, by introducing systems thinking and adopting the systems dynamics simulation technique this paper puts an effort to find some tentative answers to the questions possibly raised about the impact of electronic commerce on local economy on which little research has been conducted so far. The general scheme for the dynamism of systems where two groups of electronic malls compete each other and the findings presented in the paper would perhaps provide some ideas and directions for further study.

The development of high voltage Insulated Gate Bipolar Transistor (IGBT) have given new device advantage in the areas where they compete with conventional GTO (Gate Turnoff Thyristor) technology. The IGBT combines the advantages of a power MOSFET (Metal-Oxide Semiconductor Field-Effect Transistor) and a bipolar power transistor. The change of electrical characteristics for IGBT is mainly coming from the change of characteristics of MOSFET at the input gate and the PNP transistors at the output. The gate oxide structure gives the main influence on the changes in the electrical characteristics affected by environments such as radiation and temperature, etc.. The change of threshold voltage, which is one of the important design parameters, is brought by charge trapping at the gate oxide. In this paper, the electrical characteristics are simulated by SPICE simulation, and the parameters are found to design optimized circuits.

The use of nanovesicles (NVs) has contributed to nanotechnology in the development of new concept medicine to compete with diseases of deleterious and infectious to human health. Due to their properties of size, morphology, and biocompatibility NVs have great impact on public health especially in the development of new therapeutic and prophylaxis approaches in addition to the device for biosensors to diagnose human diseases. Recent data also strongly suggest that NVs are regarded as innovative materials in developing for vaccines and diagnostic tools. In this review, we focus on the basic concepts and recent applications of NVs to utilize or engineer them as therapeutic materials.

Wind energy is currently the fastest-growing electricity source worldwide. The cost efficiency of wind generators must be high because these generators have to compete with other energy sources. In this paper, a system that utilizes an open-winding permanent-magnet synchronous generator is studied for wind-energy generation. The proposed system controls generated power through an auxiliary voltage source inverter. The VA rating of the auxiliary inverter is only a fraction of the system-rated power. An adjusted control system, which consists of two main parts, is implemented to control the generator power and the grid-side converter. This paper introduces a study on the effect of unbalanced voltages for the wind-generation system. The proposed system is designed and simulated using MATLAB/Simulink software. Theoretical and experimental results verify the validity of the proposed system to achieve the power management requirements for balanced and unbalanced voltage conditions of the grid.

Last year, Seoul International Dispute Resolution Center(SIDRC) was set up to facilitate and promote international arbitration in Korea. This study was focused on the revision of arbitration rules such as ICC, SIAC, HKIAC and JCAA. As a leading arbitration institution in the world, ICC has tried continuously to provide more efficient service to their client by adopting emergency arbitrator(EA) & multi party arbitration. Other three institutions also introduced almost same mechanism to compete each other. These two new system is very innovative in international arbitration. First of all, EA was designed to provide interim measure service to preserve or protect parties' right before the constitution of arbitral tribunal. Arbitration institutions and arbitral tribunals should be careful to decide these requests are legitimate or not because too hasty approval on joinder or consolidation without full consideration such as parties' intention or argument may issue another serious problem - setting aside an award rendered after joined or consolidated.

The unit of competition is not a single firm any more but group of firms. They make a supply chain and compete with other chains. In this study we investigate success factors of supply chains from the supplying firms perspective. We consider various success factors such as commitmet trust communication confilct re-solving techniques vendor selection process and incentive systems. A set of hypotheses is tested based on the data collected from the electronics and automobile part manufacturers. Samples are divided by the length of the relationship between the vendor and assembler. joint problem solving under the long-term relationship plays an important role for the success of the supply chain. The findings offer insight into how to better manage the sup-ply chains.

The valuation of patents is very important, since technology competitiveness is crucial for firms to maintain global competitiveness. But, the patent valuation is difficult and challenging because of the uncertainty affecting their returns. Hence, we propose a patent valuation method by incorporating game theory into the real option model, which can not only potentially recognizes the effect of uncertainty on patent value, but also consider investment decision in a competitive market, as a game between firms. With the model, we can consider dynamic strategy involving an option of patent leveraging strategies enabling the firm to switch among compete, cooperate, or wait modes under different demand or competitive advantage condition.
