Expansion Factors of Cement Mortar Containing Expanding Admixture (팽창재를 포함한 시멘트 모르터의 팽창 요인)

  • Two type of expanding cement generally referred to as CSA with Hauyne(3CaO 3Al2O3 CaSO4) and Quick lime(CaO). Hauyne is formed to ettringite when there are presented with CaO and CaSO4, and CaO reacts wtih water to form Ca(OH)2. REcently, the mechanism of compensation and expand mortar or concrete tend to same and it has been used improving on its shrink property. The volume of cement paste varies with its water content shrink with drying and re-wetting. Concrete and mortar works are required shrinking compensation and expansion properties to reduce of potential crack. The use of expansion cement may improve on its shrinking volume changes. CSA dosages for shrinking compensation limited by cement weight, but obtained difference expansion rate with varied W/C or inorganic admixture. This paper studies expansion rate according to expansion cement dosages, water and inorganic admixtures as Silica fume. Therefor, the expansion factor has to considered before the application.

  • This paper describes a modeling and current control techniques of Distribution static condenser (D-STATCON) for power factor compensation. The current control is based on the predictive and the space vector PWM scheme. The predictive current controlled PWM D-STATCON can maintain its performance with power factor compensation and fixed switching frequency. By using the space vector control low ripple and offset in the current and the voltage as well as fast dynamic responses are achieved with a small DC link capacitance employed.

  • Since the West Sea experiences a big difference in tides, the output power of the small marine hydroelectric power plant varies with the tide. When an induction generator is used here for small hydroelectric power, the reactive power capacitor should be installed at the generator main bus to compensate for the changes in power. As such, the sizing method for the power compensation of the induction generator is reviewed and an optimal method for compensation is suggested. The self-excitation minimum capacitor capacity method, which prevents high voltages, and the power factor automatic control method, which retains a power factor of greater than 90% are reviewed. The compensation effect of reactive power is confirmed through a case study.

  • A compensation method of color error resulting from dynamic range transformation of color image is propsoed. The color error is measured using the CIE L a b uniform color space, and the color image is compensated to minimize it. The color error is significant in the dark region of image, which is caused by the lunimance scaling factor is relatively large in that case. In the proposed method, we weight the luminance scaling factor corresponding to luminnce to minimize the error. Because the weighting factor depends on luminace distribution of image, a decisio method of weighting factor using histogram is also proposed.

  • This paper presents a unified control scheme for series-type active power filters combined with shunt passive filters for the source voltage unbalance compensation and the power factor correction simultaneously. The power factor correction is achieved by controlling the amplitude of reactive power current in a series filter as zero in a synchronously rotating reference frame. The proposed algorithm successfully compensates the source voltage unbalance and the power factor. The validity of the proposed scheme has been verified by simulation for a 3-kVA hybrid active power filter system.

  • For more accurate navigation, lever arm compensation is considered. The compensation method for GPS and an odometer is introduced and new compensation methods are proposed for an odometer to consider the effect of coordinate transformation errors and the scale factor error. The methods are applied to a GPS/INS/odometer integrated system and the simulation and experimental results show its effectiveness.

  • Linear displacement accuracy is one of the most important factors that determine machine tool accuracy The laser interferometer has been usually recommended for the measurement of linear displacement accuracy. In this paper, microcomputer aided measurement and compensation system has been developed for the pitch error in a CNC machine tool. For accurate pitch error calculation. the analysis code for the pitch error has been also implemented according to the international standards (ISO). The PC based automatic compensation system for the pitch error is also implemented. A new algorithm for calculating optimum value for pitch error compensation is proposed, minimizing the deviation at each target points. The development system has been applied to a practical CNC maching center and the performance has been demonstrated.

  • In this paper, a methodology of geometrical error identification and compensation for NC machine tool position. We have proposed a reference artifact with which, in measuring the coordinate system of NC machine, the robust coordinate systems are given. The coordinate system of the NC machine could be compensated successfully with the information obtained by measuring the reference artifact and our compensation algorithm. Monte Carlo simulation is used to evaluate coordinate referencing ability and, the uncertainties of the machine tool position is estimated and observed through the compensation process by simulation.

  • A new control method using average comparison strategy have been proposed in this paper. This control method realizes sinusoidal input and output current. unity input displacement factor regardless of load power factor. Moreover compensation of the asymmetrical and harmonic containing input voltage is sautomatically realized and calculation time of control function is reduced.
