전기지상지원장비 및 관제시스템 통합 개발을 위한 유럽 표준안 현황 (ECSS E70 Standard for developing common EGSE and MCS)

  • 위성체 총조립 및 시험(AIT; Assembly, Integration & Test)을 위한 전기지상지원장비(EGSE ; Electrical Ground Support Equipment)와 위성 임무 준비 및 운용을 위한 관제시스템(MCS; Mission Control System)은 동일한 시스템은 아니지만 많은 공통점과 호환 가능성을 갖고 있다. 하지만 우주 사업의 핵심 지상시스템인EGSE와 MCS는 사용 시기와 개발 조직이 달라서 오랫동안 별도로 개발 및 발전되어 왔다. 그러나 두 시스템이 기술적인 측면에서 유사한 기능과 역할을 하기 때문에 통합 또는 공통 개발에 대한 요구가 끊임없이 제기되고 있으며, 이미 세계적으로ECSS E70과 같은 관련 표준화 작업과 이를 바탕으로 실제 구현된 핵심 지상운영시스템의 개발이 최근에 기술적인 성숙을 이루고 있어 현재 거의 모든 우주 사업에서 핵심 지상운영시스템을 활용하거나 더 나아가 상용 제품을 적용하여 공통지상시스템을 개발하고 있다. EGSE와 MCS의 공통 기능에 관련된 표준화 작업은 ECSS를 통해 국제 표준(ISO, CCSDS 등)을 바탕으로 한 위성의 지상시스템에 대한 유럽 표준화 작업이 ECSS-E-70 Working Group에서 진행되고 있다. 여기서는 우주 산업에 관련된 표준화 단체인 ECSS에 대한 역사, 정책, 조직 및 문서 구조를 포함하여 ECSS에서 현재 진행되고 있는 지상시스템 및 운용 분야 관련 ECSS E70 표준화 작업의 내용 및 현황에 대해서 살펴보고자 한다.

  • 전 지구적 환경 모니터링을 위한 빙하 시추의 예비 탐사로서 남극 리빙스톤섬에서 GPR (Ground Penetrating Radar) 탐사를 실시하였다. 탐사지역은 세종기지가 위치한 킹죠지섬으로부터 남서쪽으로 80 km 위치한 곳으로 해발 340 m의 Mt. Charra 부근에 위치한다. 총 5개의 측선을 탐사했으며 3개의 반사법과 2개의 CMP (Common Midpoint) 방법을 실시하였다. 탐사결과 연구지역에서 빙하층은 전자기파의 속도와 반사단면의 특징으로 3개로 나누었다. 빙하의 두께는 $80{\~}110\;m$에 이르는 것으로 추정되고 층에 따라 빙하 내부에 다량의 물과 화산재를 포함하고 있는 것으로 해석된다.

지중송배전계통에서 과도상태시 공통접지의 영향 분석 (Analysis of Common Grounding Effect during the Transient State in Underground Transmission and Distribution Systems)

  • This paper describes the effect of transient state in underground transmission and distribution lines installed together in the same tunnel. Two systems installed in the same tunnel are operated by the common grounding. This paper analyzed that how much one of the two kinds of systems influences the other systems during the transient state by EMTP/ATPDraw. Single line-to-ground fault and lightning surge were selected in transient state condition. These cases were simulated variously according to the variation of common grounding magnitude, fault location and lightning surge magnitude. It is evaluated that the analyzed results will be used for establishment and operating materials of common grounding in the same tunnel.

연약지반 개량 PBD 복합천공기 리더의 구조 안전성 평가 (Structural Safety Evaluation of PBD Composite Perforator's Leader for Soft Ground Improvement)

  • Among the soft ground improvement methods, PBD is the most common construction method because it is cheap and construction is fast. However, if the ground is rigid, additional work is required. In this study, the structural safety, natural vibration, and safety angle of the steel vertical tower structure were evaluated in the development of the PBD composite perforator which can be combined with drilling work and PBD construction. Structural safety was assessed when the wind load of 20 m/s was simultaneously applied to the PBD construction load of 20 tons, the perforating operation of 25 tons, and the wind speed of 50 m/s was applied only to the wind load. The natural frequencies were evaluated up to the sixth mode, and the safety angle was evaluated for static and dynamic safety angles.

3-Dimensional fasciectomy: A highly efficacious common ground approach to Dupuytren's surgery

  • Background Numerous Dupuytren's fasciectomy techniques have been described, each associated with unique surgical challenges, complications and recurrence rates. We describe a common ground surgical approach to Dupuytren's disease; 3-dimensional fasciectomy (3DF). 3DF aims to address the potential contributors to the high recurrence rate of Dupuytren's disease and unite current limited fasciectomy practice that varies considerably between surgeons. Methods We describe the 3DF principles; raising thin skin flaps (addressing dermal involvement), excising diseased palmar fascia with a 3-5 mm clearance margin (treating highly locally recurrent conditions) and excising the vertical septae of Legueu and Juvara (providing deep clearance, hence addressing all potentially involved pathological tissue). The surgical outcomes between traditional limited fasciectomy (LF) and 3DF are compared. Results From the 786 operations included (n=585), postoperative recurrence rates were significantly lower for the 3DF group (2/145, 1.4%) than the LF group (72/641, 11.2%) (P= 0.001), and the time to recurrence was significantly longer ($5.0{\pm}0years$ vs. $4.0{\pm}0.2years$; P<0.0001). With recurrence excluded, there were no differences between the postoperative complication rates for 3DF (5/145, 3.5%) and LF (41/641, 6.4%) (P=0.4). Conclusions Our results suggest that 3DF leads to lower recurrence rates and a longer disease-free period for patients, without increasing complications. 3DF provides a safe, efficacious, common ground surgical approach in the treatment of Dupuytren's flexion deformity.

  • 본 연구에서는 콘크리트 교량 바닥판의 열화를 비파괴시험인 지표투과레이더(GPR)를 이용하여 평가하는 방법을 개발하였다. 콘크리트 교량 바닥판의 유전 상수를 계산하기 위하여 비접촉식 GPR 안테나를 이용하여 2층 구조체에 적용할 수 있는 확장형 공통중간점 방법을 개발하였다. 콘크리트 교량 바닥판의 열화 깊이와 열화 상태는 콘크리트 교량 바닥판의 유전 상수와 표면대비 평균 유전상수비를 이용하여 평가하였다. 제안된 방법을 검증하기 위하여 GPR 현장 시험을 공용수명이 오래된 콘크리트 교량에서 실시하였다. 시험 결과 새로 제안된 방법을 이용하여 추정된 두께와 열화 깊이가 어느 정도 신뢰성을 가지는 것으로 나타났다.

  • Rayleigh waves which has more than 70% of the total seismic energy is the principal component of ground roll. Frequency component of a surface wave has a different propagation velocity, that is, phase velocity, which results in a different wavelength called dispersion. Rayleigh wave is one of the most common ways to use the dispersive properties of surface waves. MASW is a seismic method to evaluate shear-wave velocity information of the ground.

서울시내 동절기 상록성 지피식물식재 현황에 관한 조사연구 (Studies on the Present Status of Evergreen Ground-Cover Plants in Winter of Seoul)

  • The current status of evergreen ground-cover plants as of in the winter months in 50 places selected at random in Seoul was assessed to see how they are at the present, and the following matters of evergreen ground-cover plants were observed to be common aspect of them today during the year of 1989 and 1990 and in winter of Seoul. 1. Ground-cover area in 50 different places of Seoul was 36% of the green area, and the evergreen ground-cover area was 3% of total ground-cover area. As the result, most of ground cover plants founded to be zoysia grasses. 2. Total number of evergreen ground-cover plants species was 24, and the species most frequently found were Juniperus chinensis and horizontalis, Buxus koreana, Liriope platyphylla var. nana. Taxus cuspidats, Rhododendron lateritium, Pleioblastus pygmaea, Poa pratensis in that order of the number of plasces assessed, and sere Poa pratensis, Agrostis tennuis, Liriope platyphylla, Buxus koreana, Juniperus chinensis and horizontalis, Taxus cuspidata. var. nana, Rhododendron lateritium in the order of area planted. 3. Woody plants included 9 species and occupied 16% in the area, also introduced plants included 14 species and occupied 79% in the area. As introduced evergreen grasses occupied, almost of evergreen ground-cover herbs, planting of evergreen ground-cover herbs and native plants are thought to be desirable. 4. Flowering plants of 16 species were found to be 16% of the total evergreen ground-cover area. 5. The ratio of topographical difference, such as plain versus slope for planting site, was 82 and 18% respectively, and sunny versus shady and intermediate places were 72, 15 and 13% respectively. 6. Although appearance of plants was generally fair, poor and drying plants were assessed 33% for the number of places planted, and 11% for the area. It seems to be necessary to manage those plants to their growth characteristics, and desiable to introduce various plant species adaptable to the winter climate of Seoul and grow for the winter landscaping purpose. 7. The poor use and lack of evergreen ground-cover plants are regarded to be deficient in the valus and reconization of them, particularly in the landscaping works. It is therefore considered important to bring out pertinent measures against these inadequate situations.

고령화 사회에 따른 국민임대아파트 1층 공유공간의 계획방향에 대한 연구 (A study on Design Planning of the National Rental Apartment's Community Space Located on Ground Level Floor for Aging Society)

  • Lower birth rate and higher elder people are serious social problem in Korea. In 2003, the total birth rate is 1.19 per person, that record is lowest among OECD country. In 2005, Korea has been the aging society with 9.0% in aged population rate. Increasing of aged population results in elder estrangement and confliction with other generations. The social problem can be solved in some degree by improving housing environment and many kinds of welfare program. This study suggests a solution of the problem by applying community space located on ground level floor. The ground level floor of apartment has many physical benefits like connection to the earth, extension, safeness for the aged and child. in case of the National Rental apartment, small residential area and high rate of elder, child, the disabled make the ground level floor useful space for community. According to case study, almost the National Rental apartment hasn't enough facilities supporting various generations and don't supply comfortable environment. So, this study presents how to design the National Rental Apartment's community space located on ground level floor.
