A Study on the Effects of Performance-Based Personnel System Research on the Organizational Effectiveness: Focusing on Small Company, Shandong Province of China (성과주의 인적자원관리제도와 조직유효성에 관한 연구: 중국 산동성 중소기업을 중심으로)

  • The purpose of this study is to present and identify the relationship for the effects of performance-based human resource practices on the organizational effectiveness with focusing on small and medium-sized enterprises around Shandong province of China. The performance-based human resource practice factors include selective employment system, education training system, evaluation system, compensation system and the career promotion ladder opportunity system. As a result, among ten hypotheses, six hypotheses turned out to be the meaningful approaches. In addition there exist some human factors that interfere with the fairness of the evaluation due to the regional and personal factors, assessment system difference among firms. Finally the compensation system and organizational investment for increasing or decreasing will critically affect the enthusiasm of the staff members of firms, and the less invested for thema, the greater the likelihood of their turnovers.

  • This study try to analyze the relationship between the corporate culture type and performance about convergence corporate. In addition, we developed a model that fix this research to analyze the business culture and firms type in order to perform this study overall. In the daily operations of an organization's culture can be a source of corporate competitiveness, it may be classified as an important factor in the performance of the organization to promote. In other words, the organizational culture as well as be able to describe an individual's attitudes and behavior, microscopic, macroscopic analysis of organizational behavior can serve to connect conceptually each others and through this process can be seen as contributing to the achievement creation. Therefore, analyzed the influence of the relationship between corporate culture and performance form the basis of this study and research model was validated. Corporate culture in the form of the convergency enterprise found out the strong relationship with job satisfaction and organizational commitment in the research result. Finally, this research results are expected to be a useful guide as a basis for the creation and management of companies with a corporate culture in the near future convergence corporation.

  • The study model was designed and the hypothesis was drawn based on precedent studies in order to analyze the effects of teamwork by servant leadership on job attitudes, aiming at full-time regular status employees and contract employees lower than the general manager position at special grade hotels in Busan. The SPSS WIN Version 15.0 integrated package for data process was used to verify the hypothesis through frequency analysis, reliability analysis, factorial analysis and regression analysis. As a result of study, the verification result for the effect of servant leadership on communication among the teamwork factors showed that forming sympathy and community and vision meaningfully affects communication; the verification result for the effect of servant leadership on interdependence among the teamwork factors showed that forming community, stewardship, vision factor meaningfully affects interdependence; The verification result for the effect of the teamwork factor on organizational commitment as a job attitude showed communication and interdependence meaningfully affect organizational commitment, one of job attitudes. Cousequently, the leaders in hotel organizations are expected to need a role of personnel management through organizational dependence and participatory management, to draw harmony and corporation among employees and build organizing systems, presenting a clear vision about the future to them.

  • The rising value of software developers has made corporations, including IT companies, to focus on recruitment of software developers. However, the domestic software industry, where SMEs represents quite a large proportion of the industry, is facing problems of low rate of human resources and high rate of job turnover. These problems have not been solved until today. This study hypothesizes that software developer's job satisfaction has an effect on organizational engagement and intention to job transfer. The purpose of this study is to provide implications on desirable human resources management and work environment, that lowers intentions to job transfer by elevating job satisfaction of the software developers. The results of the study reveal that among job satisfaction factors, recognition, autonomy, work-life balance, work environment have significant effects on fob satisfaction. Also, the software developer's job satisfaction elevates organizational engagement and lowers intention to job transfer. In addition, job satisfaction is has partly has mediating effect between job satisfaction and intention to job transfer. Several practical implications are discussed.

  • Customer relationship management(CRM) is perceived to be failing, and there is an urgent need for some practical ways to address this issue. The research presented in this article demonstrates that the implementation of CRM activities delivers greater profits. The author examine the key drivers and information technology process in implementing CRM using data collected from a diverse sample of firms. The results show that IT processes and top manager's commitment of CRM play a vital role in enchancing an organization's customer relationship performance. The study provides insights into why the use of customer orientation might not always deliver the expected customer relationship performance outcome.

  • Existing research indicates that job design influences not only a worker's psychological well-being but also the individual and organizational performance. This study has been motivated by the need to provide useful implications for increasing the efficiency of business operations. The purpose of this research is to investigate the relationships between job characteristics and performance factors in the domestic financial industry. The conceptual framework has been developed based on Hackman & Oldham's job characteristics model and the related literature. We conducted a survey of employees in the domestic financial firms to test the conceptual model and hypotheses, and analyzed the data using the structured equation modeling method. The results of the empirical analysis indicate that the variety and autonomy of a job positively affect corporate innovation, confidence, and job satisfaction and that corporate innovation and job satisfaction positively influence job commitment. This research designed to examine the relationship between job characteristics and organizational performance will make a contribution to the improvement of business efficiency in our society.

  • This study gropes for the way to seek a desirable leader increase the efficiency of the mail service in the post service administration. That is to say, this study presents an appropriate leadership for the enhancement of the post service administration by investigating the relationship of the leadership to the organizational commitment and job satisfaction in the post service organization. Consequently, for the mail business organization, the selling leadership and the participating leadership show strong positive (+) interrelationship with the organizational commitment, but weak positive (+) interrelationship with job satisfaction. On the other hand, the telling leadership and the delegating leadership show weak negative (-) interrelationship with the former. Here, we can learn that the selling leadership and participating leadership are more effective on the mail business organization.

The Relationship among Family-Friendly Policies, Work-Life, Family-Life, and Intention of Childbirth (가족친화제도, 직장생활, 가정생활과 추가출산의향 간의 관계)

  • This study is to examine the influence of family-friendly policies on married female workers'desire for an additional child and the mediating effects of family-friendly policies and birth intention on the relationship between work- and family-life. A questionnaire survey was conducted with married female women who were under the age of 40 years and with young children, using convenience sampling. Initially, a total of 400 survey questionnaires were distributed and 326 of them were gathered and analyzed as final data. The study conducted descriptive statistics, structural equation modeling, Sobel's test, latent means analysis, and multi-group analysis to test the hypotheses. The findings are as follows. First, family-friendly policies positively impacted married women's willingness to have additional children. Second, family-friendly policies had significant positive implications on married female workers' work-life. It shows that family-friendly policies influenced married women's job satisfaction and organizational commitment, enhancing work-life satisfaction. Third, family-friendly policies were positively related with married women's family-life. It revealed that the policies had an impact on their marital satisfaction and parenting stress, improving family-life satisfaction. Fourth, married women's work-life factors, such as job satisfaction and organizational commitment, were not significantly associated with their intention of childbirth. Fifth, marital satisfaction and parenting stress were positive and significant factors affecting women's willingness to have additional children. Sixth, married women's family-life mediated the association between family policies and their childbirth intention, but their work-life did not do. Last, work- and family-life mediated the significant effect of family-friendly policies on the willingness in both groups: family-friendly policies${\rightarrow}$work-life, family-friendly policies${\rightarrow}$childbirth willingness, and family-friendly policies${\rightarrow}$family-life.

The Effects of Transformational Leadership of Financial Institution on Organizational Effectiveness -Focused on Mediating Effect of Education Service Quality and Moderating Effect of Trust- (금융기관 상사의 변혁적 리더십이 조직유효성에 미치는 영향 -교육서비스품질의 매개효과와 신뢰의 조절효과 중심으로-)

  • This study is about the factors affecting organizational effectiveness and to suggest implications for encouraging organizational effectiveness. The conditional process model was analyzed with transformational leadership as an independent variable, educational service quality as a mediator, organizational effectiveness as a dependent variable, and trust as a moderator. The data collected from the financial institutions were analyzed using SPSS v22.0 and PROCESS macro v3.4. As a result, transformational leadership has a (+) effect on educational service quality, and educational service quality has a (+) effect on organizational effectiveness. Except for the relationship between charisma and innovative behavior, transformational leadership affect organizational effectiveness. Excluding the relationship between charisma and innovative behavior, educational service quality mediate between transformational leadership and organizational effectiveness. Trust only moderates between educational service quality and innovative behavior. Trust moderated the mediating effect of educational service quality between transformational leadership and innovative behavior. The results suggest the importance of education service quality management in a non-face-to-face working environment and the importance of individual consideration in innovative actions.

The Mediating Effect of Social Contribution Activities on the Relationship between Social Entrepreneurship and Organizational Performance (사회적기업가정신과 조직성과 간의 관계에서 사회공헌활동의 매개효과 검증)

  • Social entrepreneurship plays a key role in organizational performance, and social contribution activities are related to organizational members' perception of social enterprise value and performance sharing. The purpose of this study is to verify the mediating effect of social contribution activities in the relationship between social entrepreneurship and organizational performance. For the study, a questionnaire survey was conducted on members of social enterprises, and data of 186 valid copies were used for statistical analysis. Statistical analysis used reliability of measurement variables, confirmatory factor analysis, correlation analysis, and mediating effect analysis. The results of the study are as follows. First, there was a significant correlation between social entrepreneurship, social contribution activities, and organizational performance. Second, social entrepreneurship has a significant correlation with organizational performance. Social purpose and initiative, sub-factors of social entrepreneurship, had a significant influence on organizational commitment. Third, social contribution activities showed a significant relationship with organizational performance. Fourth, in the relationship between social entrepreneurship and organizational performance, social contribution activities showed a partial mediating effect. This suggests that social contribution activities play an important role in improving the performance of social enterprises.
