This study explored the characteristics of elementary gifted students' creative problem-solving skills combining creativity and problem-solving ability based on their work on Fermi estimation problems. The analysis revealed that gifted students exhibited strong logical validity and breadth but showed some weaknesses in divergent thinking abilities (fluency, flexibility, originality).

In order to determine whether there is a significant correlation between relational understanding and creative math. problem finding ability, this study performed relational understanding and problem finding ability tests on a sample of 186 8th grade middle school students. According to the study results, we found a very significant positive correlation between relational understanding and the creativity of the mathematising ability and the combining ability of mathematical concepts in the problem finding ability. Although there was no statistically significant correlation between relational understanding and the extension ability of mathematical facts, the results from analyzing the students response rate and actual scores in each test showed that students with high relational understanding scores also had high response rate and high scores in analogical reasoning and inductive reasoning. Through this study, therefore, relational understanding is found to have a positive impact on the creative mathematics problem finding ability.

The genetic variances and combinding ability of some useful characters were analyzd on sixty four combinations in the 8$\times$8 diallel cross using the four Japanese races(Jam 107, Jam 113, Jam 117 and Jam 119) and the four Chinese races(Jam 108, Jam 114, Jam 118 and Jam 120). The eight quantitative characters were the total larval stage period(TP), the fifth larval instar period(FP), the female cocoon total weight(FW), the male cocoon total weight(MW), the female cocoon layer weight(FL), the male cocoon layer weight(ML), the female cocoon layer ratio(FR), and the male cocoon layer ratio(MR). The results were as follows: The analysis of the genetic variance and the combining ability in the TP and the FP. In TP and FP, h2N was less than h2B. The GCA, SCA and RCA were at a high significant level. Hl/D and (Hl/D)1/2 ere large. The heterosis were small minus. E and D were large. The r was in the positive direction, because the recessive genes were mainly expressed as a short rearing periods. The regressions of the characters were passed below 0 point, because the characters in the TP and the FP were appeared overdominant. The order of the dominance in the TP of the parents were in the order of Jam 119>Jam 113>Jam 117>Jam 108>Jam 120>Jam 114>Jam 107>Jam 118, and that in the FP of the parents were followed in the orders of Jam 117>Jam 113>Jam 108>Jam 114>Jam 119>Jam 107>Jam 120>Jam 118. The analysis of the genetic variance and the combining ability of the FW and the MW. In the FW and the Mw, h2N was less the h2B. The GCA and SCA were large but RCA was little. Hl/D and (Hl/D)1/2 in the parents were large. Heterosis was large. E was appeared large in the FW, and small in the MW. D was small. The r was of the minus direction, because the dominance genes were less expressed. The regression of the these characters were padded below 0 point, because the characters in FW and MW were appeared overdominant. The orders of the dominance in the FW of the parents were as the order of Jam 107>Jam 108>Jam 119>Jam 113>Jam 114>Jam 120>Jam 117>Jam 118, and in the MW of them in the order of Jam 114>Jam 120>Jam 108>Jam 113>Jam 107>Jam 119>Jam 117>Jam 118. The dominance in the FL of parents ere in the order of Jam 120>Jam 114>Jam 119>Jam 119>Jam 118>Jam 107>Jam 117>Jam 113, and the ML of them in the order of Jam 114>Jam 108>Jam 120>Jam 117>Jam 118>Jam 107>Jam 119>Jam 113. The analysis of the genetic variance and combining ability of the FR and the MR. In the FR and the Mr, h2N was less than h2B. GCA was large. The SCA and RCA were little. In the FW, Hl/D was large but (Hl/D)1/2 was a little. In MR, Hl/D and (Hl/D)1/2 both were a littel. Heterosis was a little. E in the FR was in the negative direction, because the dominance genes were less expressed but that in the MR was the positive direction because the recessive genes were mainly expressed. The order of the dominance in the FR of the parents were in the order of Jam 117>Jam 114>Jam 108>Jam 120>Jam 118>Jam 119>Jam 107>Jam 113 and that in the MR these were in the order of Jam 114>Jam 117>Jam 108>Jam 118>Jam 107>Jam 119>Jam 120.

Recently, climate change has affected short time concentrated local rainfall and unexpected heavy rain which is increasingly causing life and property damage. In this research, arithmetic average analysis, weighted average analysis, and principal component analysis are used for predicting flood risk. This research is foundation for application of predicting flood risk based on annals of disaster and status of urban planning. Results obtained by arithmetic average analysis, weighted average analysis, and principal component analysis using many factors affect on flood are compared. In case of arithmetic average analysis, each factor has same weights though it is simple method. In case of weighted average analysis, correlation factors are complex by many variables and multicollinearty problem happen though it has different weights. For solving these problems, principal component analysis (PCA) is used because each factor has different weights and the number of variables is smaller than other methods by combining variables. Finally, flood risk assessment considering flood control ability and urban environment risk in former research is predicted.

Electronic commerce (E-commerce) using virtual reality (VR) has the advantage of being able to purchase products without restrictions of time and location by overcoming the limitations of existing offline transactions. It is still a rudimentary but fast growing technology, and the use of E-commerce in VR is expanding. The barriers that consumers might face in utilizing E-commerce in VR is the relevance to Information and Communications Technologies (ICT) technology. Fundamentally, it requires Internet access and use through PCs or mobile devices such as smart phones. Because unlike off-line markets, it is difficult to determine the purchase patterns of customers, customer purchasing behavior analysis must be done using computer access records. In order to expand and develop E-commerce in VR in the future, learning ability should be improved through combining with artificial neural network by deep learning that is recently in the spotlight, and the ability to overcome errors need to be improved to enable use in various fields.

The greatest challenge of this century is the protection of stored and transmitted data over the network. This paper provides a new hybrid algorithm designed based on combination algorithms, in the proposed algorithm combined with Hill and the Advanced Encryption Standard Algorithms, to increase the efficiency of color image encryption and increase the sensitivity of the key to protect the RGB image from Keyes attackers. The proposed algorithm has proven its efficiency in encryption of color images with high security and countering attacks. The strength and efficiency of combination the Hill Chipper and Advanced Encryption Standard Algorithms tested by statical analysis for RGB images histogram and correlation of RGB images before and after encryption using hill cipher and proposed algorithm and also analysis of the secret key and key space to protect the RGB image from Brute force attack. The result of combining Hill and Advanced Encryption Standard Algorithm achieved the ability to cope statistically

Recently, importance of meta-analysis is increasing in the field of dentistry, since it is not easy to settle controversies arising from conflicting studies. Meta-analysis is the statistical method of combining results from two or more individual studies that have been done on the same topic. Merits of meta-analysis include an increase in power, an improvement in precision, and the ability to address solution not provided by individual studies. However, it might mislead researchers when variation across studies and publication bias are not carefully taken into consideration. The purpose of this study is to help understand meta-analysis by making use of individual results in dental research paper.

Our society has changed from an industrial society to a knowledge - based society, and the need for new knowledge creation activities through the convergence of various knowledge is emphasized. In accordance with these changes, universities aiming at nurturing human resources for society have sought new approaches and changes. The discussion of various curriculum for the future talent training in the university is aimed at the goal of developing problem solving ability irrespective of the subject of education or major. In this study, we tried to show that computational thinking ability can be improved by strengthening creative team activities by combining design thinking method in computer curriculum of general education course of university. To do this, we conducted a design thinking team project for students of computer general education course at G university in Gyeongnam province and conducted a survey. The results of the questionnaire were verified by statistical methods. The variables of this study satisfied both the validity and the reliability. Multiple regression analysis showed that knowledge sharing, team activity satisfaction, and design thinking project satisfaction factors all affect computing thinking ability.

In the images obtained from high altitude, several materials are mixed in one pixel and observed as a mixel. It makes difficult to separate the value of pure materials from obtained data. As mixel analysis, various techniques using Independent Component Analysis (ICA) and wavelet analysis, etc, were proposed. In this study, we applied to the ICA technique to real data collected by hyperspectral line sensor. Real data came under the influence of several effects regarded as basin on the convolution. We show that combining the ICA method with deconvolution improve it's estimation ability.
