Aegilops genus is known to include the donor species of the Band D genome of the bread wheat(ABD). An effort to establish a better strategy for phylogenetic relationships about Aegilops polyploids by AFLPs(Amplified Fragment Length Polymorphisms) was conducted using the 19 Aegilops sPP. and T. aestivum. The 207 polymorphic bands from the amplified products on the 6% acrylamide denaturing sequencing gels were obtained with the 7 AFLP primer combinations, and used to account for the genetic similarities and cluster analysis using NTSYS program. According to the genome analysis, the $M^h$-genome of Ae. heldreichii was estimated as an intermediate genome between the M-genome of Ae. comosa and N-genome of Ae. uniaristata and supposed to be incorporated in the establishing process of UM-genome as a possible diploid donor. And Ae. ventricosa(DN) was more close to Ae. umbellulata(U) than Ae. squarrosa(D). The close relationship between Ae. squarrosa and T. aestivum was perceived as a diploid donor of D-genome. As for the polyploid species, hexaploid Ae. triaristata was more closely related to Ae. columnaris rather than tetraploid Ae. triaristata. The clustered groups were, basically same to the previous Gihara's sections based on phenotypes and pairing analysis of interspecific hybrids. AFLP was evaluated as an efficient and powerful method in the genome evaluation of closely related species.
This study was conducted to investigate the superoxide dismutase (SOD) characteristics and antioxidant activity by nonenzymatic(Fe$^{2+}$/Ascorbate) and Fe$^{3+}$-ADP/NADPH method in perilla(Perilla frutescens var. japonica Hara.) and jaso(Perilla frutescens Briton var. acuta Kudo.) leaves. The characteristics were evaluated by the nitro blue tetrazolium reduction method. Perilla leaves contained three or four major SODs depending on the varieties. The inhibitor test indicated that the Perilla leaves contained two Cu /ZnSODs and one or two FeSODs, but Jaso leaves have only Cu/ZnSOD. However, no varietal differences were detected in the Cu /ZnSOD isozyme patterns. FeSODs, however, showed different varietal isozyme patterns through the different combinations of the two FeSOD isozymes. Among MeOH extractes, "mil yang 2" showed very strong antioxidant activity. Relatively large differences in the levels of SOD and antioxidant activity detected in the Perilla varietites. There was significantly different in the comparison between perilla leaves and red jaso leaves.s.etween perilla leaves and red jaso leaves.
Numerous metal-organic frameworks (MOFs) produced by periodic combinations of organic ligands and metal ions or metal-oxo clusters have led the way for the creation of energy-efficient membrane-based separations that may serve as viable replacements for traditional thermal counterparts. Although tremendous progress has been made over the past decade in the synthesis of polycrystalline MOF membranes, only a small number of MOFs have been exploited in the relevant research. Intercrystalline defects, or nonselective diffusion routes in polycrystalline membranes, are likely the reason behind the delay. Postsynthetic modifications (PSMs) are newly emerging strategies for providing polycrystalline MOF membrane diversity by leveraging advanced membranes as a platform and improving their separation capabilities via physical and/or chemical treatments; therefore, neither designing and developing MOFs nor tailoring membrane synthesis techniques for focused MOFs is necessary. In this minireview, seven subclasses of PSM techniques that have recently been adapted to polycrystalline MOF membranes are outlined, along with obstacles and future directions.
This study aims to investigate the differences in burnout, emotional labor strategies, affect intensity, and emotional clarity based on combinations of level of mindfulness and compassion. To achieve this, a total of 137 mental health professionals participated in this study, and they were classified into four groups based on their level of mindfulness and compassion using cluster analysis. Then, the differences among the groups were compared. The results of the multivariate analysis of covariance(MANCOVA) or multivariate analysis of variance(MANOVA) controlling for career experience, showed that the group with high levels of both mindfulness and compassion had the highest levels of positive affect intensity, emotional clarity for self and others, and genuine expression, while having the lowest levels of negative affect intensity, surface acting, and burnout. In comparison to the group with high levels of both mindfulness and compassion, the group with high or low level of either mindfulness or compassion had both positive and negative affect intensity at higher or lower levels. Additionally, they showed lower emotional clarity for self and others, and genuine expression. Conversely, they showed higher levels of surface acting and burnout. The group with low levels of both mindfulness and compassion experienced low levels of positive affect intensity and high levels of negative affect intensity. They also had the lowest levels of emotional clarity for self and others and genuine expression. In addition, they showed that the highest levels of surface acting, and burnout. Based on the results, the study discussed the balanced development of mindfulness and compassion to prevent burnout of professionals in the human service field, including mental health professionals. The implications and limitations of this study were further analyzed in the discussion section, including the direction for future research.

In manufacturing productivity analysis, understanding the intricate interplay among factors like facility performance, layout design, and workforce allocation within the production line is imperative. This paper introduces a simulation-based methodology tailored to food manufacturing, progressively expanding scenarios to analyze production enhancement. The target system is a food processing plant, encompassing production processes, including warehousing, processing, subdivision, packaging, inspection, loading, and storage. First, we analyze the target system and design a simulation model according to the actual layout arrangement of equipment and workers. Then, we validate the developed model reflecting the real data obtained from the target system, such as the workers' working time and the equipment's processing time. The proposed model aims to identify optimal factor values for productivity gains through incremental scenario comparisons. To this end, three stages of simulation experiments were conducted by extending the equipment and worker models of the subdivision and packaging processes. The simulation experiments have shown that productivity depends on the placement of skilled workers and the performance of the packaging machine. The proposed method in this study will offer combinations of factors for the specific production requirements and support optimal decision-making in the real-world field.

Many existing test case generation researchers extract test cases from models. However, research on generating test cases from natural language requirements is required in practice. For this purpose, the combination of natural language analysis and requirements engineering is very necessary. However, Requirements analysis written in Korean is difficult due to the diverse meaning of sentence expressions. We research test case generation through natural language requirement definition analysis, C3Tree model, cause-effect graph, and decision table steps as one of the test case generation methods from Korean natural requirements. As an intermediate step, this paper generates test cases from C3Tree model-based decision tables using meta-modeling. This method has the advantage of being able to easily maintain the model-to-model and model-to-text transformation processes by modifying only the transformation rules. If an existing model is modified or a new model is added, only the model transformation rules can be maintained without changing the program algorithm. As a result of the evaluation, all combinations for the decision table were automatically generated as test cases.

In this paper, we first looked at the structures and characteristics of the musical instrument to study the tone of haegeum, which is the only Korean musical instrument made using all the eight ingredients that make gugak instruments, and which is now the most frequently used in fusion gugak or pop music production sites. In addition, for the comparison of the various tones of the haegeum, under the same conditions, we analized how the haegeum's tone changes according to the types of Wonsan, which works as the bridge of the haegeum. Four Wonsan made of Park, Rosewood, Maple and Black Dan were used in the experiment, and low, medium, and high notes were recorded to compare the inner and outter open strings and the sound ranges. By doing so, we looked at the composition of frequency characteristics and the distribution and analyzed the timbres according to the types of Wonsan. Based on this study, it is expected to help the performers in the field choose the proper Wonsan according to each harmony part, rather than just to their tastes when performing Gugak orchestral music or haegeum ensemble. We also look forward to playing haegeum and using the timbres in various combinations of Wonsan that suit the genres at the pop music industry.

Although the construction industry is changing from a 2D-based to a 3D BIM-based management process, 2D drawings are still used as standards for permits and construction. For this reason, 2D deliverables extracted from 3D BIM are one of the essential achievements of BIM projects. However, due to technical and institutional problems that exist in practice, the process of extracting 2D deliverables from BIM requires additional work beyond generating 3D BIM models. In addition, the consistency of data between 3D BIM models and 2D deliverables is low, which is a major factor hindering work productivity in practice. To solve this problem, it is necessary to build BIM data that meets information requirements (IRs) for extracting 2D deliverables to minimize the amount of work of users and maximize the utilization of BIM data. However, despite this, the additional work that occurs in the BIM process for drawing creation is still a burden on BIM users. To solve this problem, the purpose of this study is to increase the productivity of the BIM process by automating the process of extracting 2D deliverables from BIM and securing data consistency between the BIM model and 2D deliverables. For this, an expert interview was conducted, and the requirements for automation of the process of extracting 2D deliverables from BIM were analyzed. Based on the requirements, the types of drawings and drawing expression elements that require automation of drawing generation in the design development stage were derived. Finally, the method for developing automation technology targeting elements that require automation was classified and analyzed, and the process for automatically extracting BIM-based 2D deliverables through templates and rule-based automation modules were derived. At this time, the automation module was developed as an add-on to Revit software, a representative BIM authoring tool, and 120 rule-based automation rulesets, and the combinations of these rulesets were used to automatically generate 2D deliverables from BIM. Through this, it was possible to automatically create about 80% of drawing expression elements, and it was possible to simplify the user's work process compared to the existing work. Through the automation process proposed in this study, it is expected that the productivity of extracting 2D deliverables from BIM will increase, thereby increasing the practical value of BIM utilization.

BACKGROUND/OBJECTIVES: Soy isoflavone (SIF) and soy lecithin (SL) have beneficial effects on many chronic diseases, including neurodegenerative diseases. Regretfully, there is little evidence to show the combined effects of these soy extractives on the impairment of cognition and abnormal cerebral blood flow (CBF). This study examined the optimal combination dose of SIF + SL to provide evidence for improving CBF and protecting cerebrovascular endothelial cells. MATERIALS/METHODS: In vivo study, SIF50 + SL40, SIF50 + SL80 and SIF50 + SL160 groups were obtained. Morris water maze, laser speckle contrast imaging (LSCI), and hematoxylin-eosin staining were used to detect learning and memory impairment, CBF, and damage to the cerebrovascular tissue in rat. The 8-hydroxy-2'-deoxyguanosine (8-OHdG) and the oxidized glutathione (GSSG) were detected. The anti-oxidative damage index of superoxide dismutase (SOD) and glutathione (GSH) in the serum of an animal model was also tested. In vitro study, an immortalized mouse brain endothelial cell line (bEND.3 cells) was used to confirm the cerebrovascular endothelial cell protection of SIF + SL. In this study, 50 µM of Gen were used, while the 25, 50, or 100 µM of SL for different incubation times were selected first. The intracellular levels of 8-OHdG, SOD, GSH, and GSSG were also detected in the cells. RESULTS: In vivo study, SIF + SL could increase the target crossing times significantly and shorten the total swimming distance of rats. The CBF in the rats of the SIF50 + SL40 group and SIF50 + SL160 group was enhanced. Pathological changes, such as attenuation of the endothelium in cerebral vessels were much less in the SIF50 + SL40 group and SIF50 + SL160 group. The 8-OHdG was reduced in the SIF50 + SL40 group. The GSSG showed a significant decrease in all SIF + SL pretreatment groups, but the GSH showed an opposite result. SOD was upregulated by SIF + SL pretreatment. Different combinations of Genistein (Gen)+SL, the secondary proof of health benefits found in vivo study, showed they have effective anti-oxidation and less side reaction on protecting cerebrovascular endothelial cell. SIF50 + SL40 in rats experiment and Gen50 + SL25 in cell test were the optimum joint doses on alleviating cognitive impairment and regulating CBF through protecting cerebrovascular tissue by its antioxidant activity. CONCLUSIONS: SIF+SL could significantly prevent cognitive defect induced by β-Amyloid through regulating CBF. This kind of effect might be attributed to its antioxidant activity on protecting cerebral vessels.
To estimate the responses of sesame plant in growth and yielding traits to different soil drainage conditions, a pot trial was conducted by using of sesame variety "Suweon-9" were introduced with 5 different mixing combinations of clay and sea-sand soils as 0:100, 25:75, 50:50, 75:25, and 100:0 percents in volumetric ratio. Also two irrigation methods as 20mm/6 days interval and 10mm/3 days interval were detected. As a result, water drainage was linearly decreased with increament of clay contents. And the excess drainage condition(such as pure sand soil) required more irrigation, however in crop growths, no significant differences among various soil drainage conditions except the pure sand were recognized. On the other hand, number of capsules per plant, among other yielding components, was most contributed factor to the yield, which was effectively given from the soil mixed with clay and sea-sand as 75% and 25%, respectively. Therefore, much similar responses were also detected from the seed yields per a sesame plant. However, the number of seeds per capsule and maturity function were more effectively composed under the soil mixed with clay and sea-sand as 25% and 75% respectively better than under the soil of 75% and 25%. As a conclusion, the yielding responses of sesame plant was advanced more effectively at the soil conditions of water conserved type (e.g. 25%/75% in clay/sand ratio) than of water-draining type (e.g. 75%/25% in clay/sand ratio).nd ratio).
