This study compares the performance of neural networks and ordinary least squares regression with quality-control processes. We examine the applicability of neural networks because they do not require any assumptions regarding either the functional from of the underlying process or the distribution of errors. The coefficient of determination($R^2$), mean absolute deviation(MAD), and the mean squared error(MSE) metrics indicate that neural networks are a viable and can be a superior technique. We also demonstrate that an assessment of the magnitude of the neural notwork input layer cumulative weights can be used to determine the relative importance of predictor variables.
This paper presents Korean Air's internet marketing strategy. Its vision, missions, and implementation for internet marketing are discussed. The performance and impact of its internet marketing strategies is also examined.
The objective of the present case study is to analyze how effectively Samsung Petrochemical, which is a representative business-to-business corporation, has created customer value through total marketing strategy. Many business-to-business companies often underestimate or even denigrate the roles played by marketing within organizations and consider marketing investments as costs. However, the current case illustrates that total marketing strategy including brand marketing and others can be effectively employed to maximize customer value even in business-to-business sectors. The case summarizes that total marketing strategy of Samsung Petrochemical is comprised of two primary pillars: brand marketing and the SPC model as an implementation tool that consists of services, product, and customers. The present study is expected to provide valuable insights and implications for many other companies that are operating in the business-to-business sectors.
With the progress of information technology and the rapid development of the gamification marketing, corporate marketing through virtual CSR co-create as customer acquisition, customer retention strategy has become the hot topic, but the reality results show that the effect of virtual CSR co-create fails to reach an enterprise's marketing purposes. Based on the success model of D&M information system, from the perspective of customer engagement, this study analyzes how enterprises achieve customer engagement and bring gameful experience to customers through gamification marketing in the context of virtual CSR co-create. The empirical results show that the quality of game information -- social interaction and sense of achievement in the context of virtual CSR co-create have a significant positive impact on consumers' gameful experience, and customer engagement plays a partial mediating role between social interaction, sense of achievement and consumers' gameful experience.
Quiet often, an organization tries to grapple with inconsistent and partial information to generate relevant information to support decision making and action. As such, an organization scans the environment interprets scanned data, executes actions, and learns from feedback of actions, which boils down to computational interpretations and learning in terms of machine learning, statistics, and database. The ExOM proposed in this paper is geared to facilitate such knowledge discovery found in large databases in a most flexible manner. It supports a broad range of learning and classification styles and integrates them with traditional database functions. The learning and classification components of the ExOM are tightly integrated so that learning and classification of objects is less burdensome to ordinary users. A brief sketch of a strategy as to the expressiveness of terminological language is followed by a description of prototype implementation of the learning and classification components of the ExOM.
Learning organization has been an important issue in both management and marketing areas. Also learning capability is a key construct of innovation process in a firm. Especially, in marketing context, several researchers have studied market-based learning and its relation with performance. Previous studies have shown that market-based learning has a positive impact on overall firm performance. However, there has been inconsistency in the concept of market-based learning itself and its relationships with antecedents and consequences. Given this conflicting and inconsistent results of previous research, this study has two main objectives. First, this paper proposed a conceptual framework that marketbased learning has two types of processes and each types of market-based learning will generate different types of performance. Second, the mediating role of marketing capability in learning-performance link is proposed. The proposed conceptual framework shows that organizations which have marketbased learning for innovation management can enjoy ambidextrous firm performance on both side of effectiveness and efficiency via marketing capability. Moreover our research model proposes key drivers of market based organizational learning.
HoQ (House of Quality) provides an effective tool not only to arrange and evaluate VoC (Voice of Customers) and VoE (Voice of Engineers), but also to link and combine VoC and VoE, thereby presenting explicit directions for quality improvement. There have been, however, few researches on the HoQ framework in the IT industry. The case study discussed here serves an illustration of the applicability and usefulness of the HoQ approach to website quality improvement. The proposed HoQ framework shows great potentials since customers needs are explicitly considered in the framework, and it helps website administrators develop better web services by providing guidelines for reengineering the website operations.
This study sought to examine the effect of three (distributive, procedural, and interactional) justice perceptions in predicting employees' motivation to participate in training activities. On the basis of theoretical linkages between the constructs, full mediation and partial mediation models by perceived benefits of training were developed. The models were tested using SEM (Structural Equation Modeling) on responses from 302 employees of three wireless operators in the Republic of Korea. The results showed the partial-mediation model is a dominant model. It also confirmed that interactional justice directly influence motivation to participate in training, whereas procedural justice influence the variable through perceived benefits of training. Furthermore, limitations and implications of the current study and directions for future work are discussed.

This study aims to use ISM to identify the enablers affecting the acceptance of IoT services. For this purpose, this study conducted an ISM analysis and a MICMAC analysis, extracted the enablers from Internet of Things - An Action Plan for Europe published by the EU for the research, and conducted interviews and surveys. The study found that it would be preferentially necessary to prepare the base for successful IoT services through international cooperation and the security of objective data. In addition, it turned out that it would be necessary to make efforts to spread and develop IoT services by conducting R&D and implementing projects through public-private partnerships and the organization of a consultative group. Lastly, since information security and standardization are the desired objects of the IoT industry, it was found that both the government and the industrial world should focus on them. This study has significance in that it can provide practical implications for the effective acceptance of IoT services.

In this paper, we validate MEDIQUAL constructs through different media users in help desk. In a previous paper only two end-users' constructs were used: assurance and responsiveness. In this paper we extended MEDIQUAL constructs to include reliability, empathy, assurance, tangibles, and responsiveness, which are based on the SERVQUAL theory. The results suggested that: 1) five MEDIQUAL constructs were validated through the factor analysis. That is, importance of the constructs have relatively high correlations between measures of the same construct using different methods and low correlations between measures of construct that are expected to differ (Cronbach, 1971; Campbell and Fiske, 1959) 2) five MEDIQUAL constructs are statistically significant on media users' satisfaction in help desk service by regression analysis.
