디지털위험 관리조직에 대한 신뢰가 위험지각과 위험관리에 미치는 영향: 전문가 조사를 중심으로 (Effect of Trust Toward Digital Risk Management Organization on Risk Perception and Cognition of Risk Management: Focused on Expert Survey)

  • 본 논문은 전문가들을 대상으로 디지털위험을 관리하는 조직에 대한 신뢰가 위험지각과 위험관리 인식에 미치는 영향을 규명하였다. 주요결과를 보면, 첫째, 전문가들이 디지털위험을 관리하는 조직인 정부, 관련 과학자그룹, 언론, 시민단체, 기업에 대한 신뢰가 높을수록 위험지각은 상대적으로 낮아지는 것으로 나타났다. 둘째, 한국사회 내에 존재하는 다양한 영역의 전문가들이 디지털위험을 관리하는 조직에 대해 높은 신뢰를 가질수록 관련 위험에 대한 관리가 효율적으로 이루어지고 있다고 인식하는 것으로 나타났다. 셋째, 디지털위험에 대한 위험지각은 위험관리 인식에 통계적으로 유의한 영향을 미치지 못하였다. 이런 결과에 비추어볼 때, 한국사회 내 새로운 위험으로 부각되고 있는 디지털위험을 효과적으로 통제, 예방하기 위해서는 사회 내에 신뢰를 높이고, 신뢰에 기반한 의사결정이 이루어져야 할 것이다.

인지에 기반한 이동 로봇의 운항계획 (Cognition-based Navigational Planning for Mobile Robots)

  • 본 논문에서는, 동적환경 하에서 움직이는 이동 로봇을 위한 인지에 기반한 이동 로봇의 운항계획 알고리즘을 제안한다. 제안된 알고리즘은 크게 ‘지각’과 ‘계획’ 부분으로 구성되어 있으며, ‘지각’은 지식을 구성하는 퍼지 규칙과 센서에서 얻은 데이터를 근거로 하는 위치 추론을 담당하고, ‘계획’은 환경에 대한 지식과 ‘지각’ 과정에서 얻은 위치에 대한 정보를 통해 시작점과 목표점 사이의 경로를 생성한다. ‘지각’과 ‘계획’을 통해 이동 로봇은 애매한 정보와 애매한 지식으로 위치를 추론하고 목표점을 찾아 이동한다. 컴퓨터 모의실험을 통해 제안된 알고리즘의 타당성을 보인다.

  • Apparently light does exist even if it does not have certain form that an object might have. The history of architecture can be told as the history of light. As various master architects as well as scholars mentioned, light has been recognized as one of the most important aspects in perceiving space. Although there are complex multi dimensions in body sense and perception, experiencing space through light is preliminary formed by the outline to the degree of brightness. Light gives space specific and unique character by limiting or enlarging the space by wrapping an object or by reflection of material surfaces or by the intensity of light itself. It is fundamentally important to recognize the essential relationship between light and perception of space through various medias such as material, form, movement and so on. Three types of space perception and cognition by light that have been categorized after studying the most significant writings on light become the core method to further analyze the selected case projects. In this research, we will study how interior space is expressed through different light conditions with above mentioned characteristics and how such expressions can be applicable to the design of interior space.

스마트기기 애플리케이션 게임을 이용한 인지훈련이 경미한 손상이 있는 외상성 뇌손상 환자의 인지기능에 미치는 영향 (The Effects of Cognitive Training Using Application Games of Smart Device on Cognitive Function in Patients With Mild Traumatic Brain Injury)

  • 목적: 본 연구는 스마트기기 애플리케이션 게임을 이용한 인지훈련이 외상성 뇌손상 환자의 인지기능에 미치는 영향을 알고자 하였다. 방법: 본 연구는 종합병원에서 작업치료를 받은 경미한 외상성 뇌손상 환자 17명을 대상으로 진행되었으며, 실험군 9명과 대조군 8명이 두 군으로 할당되었으며, 실험군은 스마트기기 애플리케이션 게임을 이용한 인지훈련과 전통적 인지훈련을 15분씩 실시하였으며, 대조군은 전통적 인지훈련만 30분 수행하였다. 모든 중재는 하루 30분, 주 5회, 4주간 수행하였다. 인지기능은 한국판 간이정신상태검사, Lowenstein 작업치료 인지평가와 시지각 검사(Motor-free Visual Perception Test-3)의 시각 기억 영역 1과 2를 포함하였다. 측정은 중재전과 후에 시행되었다. 결과: 두 군 사이의 변화량 비교에서, 실험군은 대조군보다 시지각 검사의 시각 기억과 한국판 간이정신상태검사의 회상 영역에서 유의한 향상이 있었다(p<.05). 결론: 본 연구의 결과는 스마트기기 애플리케이션 게임을 이용한 인지훈련이 전통적인 인지훈련보다 외상성 뇌손상 환자의 시각 기억력에 긍정적인 변화를 줄 수 있는 것으로 확인되었다.

A Review of Haptic Perception: Focused on Sensation and Application

  • Objective: The aim of this study is to investigate haptic perception related researches into three perspectives: cutaneous & proprioceptive sensations, active & passive touch, and cognition & emotion, then to identify issues for implementing haptic interactions. Background: Although haptic technologies had improved and become practical, more research on the method of application is still needed to actualize the multimodal interaction technology. Systematical approached to explore haptic perception is required to understand emotional experience and social message, as well as tactile feedback. Method: Content analysis were conducted to analyze trend in haptic related research. Changes in issues and topics were investigated using sensational dimensions and the different contents delivered via tactile perception. Result: The found research opportunities were haptic perception in various body segments and emotion related proprioceptive sensation. Conclusion: Once the mechanism of how users perceives haptic stimuli would help to develop effective haptic interactrion and this study provide insights of what to focus for the future of haptic interaction. Application: This research is expected to provide presence, and emotional response applied by haptic perception to fields such as human-robot, human-device, and telecommunication interaction.

작업자의 인지를 고려한 공정 설계에 대한 실증 연구 (An Empirical Analysis of a Process Design Considering Worker's Cognition)

  • This study suggests a process design using cognitive processes. Job characteristic model for job design and recent cognitive engineering studies for process design are reviewed briefly. By using these concepts, the lean production system is re-interpreted in terms of cognitive engineering and the latent dimensions of the lean production system are revealed as the application of cognitive engineering principles. An integrated process design framework for cognitive manufacturing system using job characteristic model is suggested for the effective design of manufacturing system. Propositions for empirical analysis of this model are also analyzed through a questionnaire survey. Propositions are (1) experiential cognition and motivation potential affect the ability, role perception, and need for achievement of the operator in the manufacturing system, (2) the ability, role perception, and need for achievement of the operator affect the job performance. Both propositions are supported by correlation analysis and path analysis.

경두개직류전류자극 및 시지각 훈련 프로그램 적용이 치매환자의 시지각 기능 및 일상생활활동에 미치는 영향 (Does the Application Transcranial Direct Current Stimulation and Visual Perception Program Enhance the Visual Perception Function and ADL Performance of Dementia Patients)

  • Purpose : This study aimed to evaluate the changes in visual perception and daily life activities after simultaneously applying the visual perception training program and transcranial DC stimulation. Particularly, this study tried to understand what changes in abilities among daily life activities influenced cognition. Methods : This study selected 50 dementia patients to achieve the objective. This study applied transcranial DC stimulation and a visual perception training program to a treatment group (n=25) and a visual perception training program to a control group (n=25). The intervention was applied five times per week and 30 minutes per session (total of 30 intervention sessions). This study measured visual perception functions and daily life activities using MVPT and FIM before and after applying the intervention. Results : The visual perception, mobility of daily life activities, cognition, and total score of the treatment group (n=25), which received the visual perception training program and transcranial DC at the same time, were significantly (p<.05) different between before and after the intervention. Moreover, when the visual perception and daily life activities of the treatment group and those of the control group after implementing the intervention were compared, they were significantly (p<.05) different between the two groups. Conclusion : The results of this study showed that the simultaneous application of the visual perception training program and transcranial DC stimulation was an effective means to enhance the visual perception and daily life activities of dementia patients. The results implied that transcranial DC stimulation, as well as the application of visual perception training program, as well as a visual perception training program, was effective for improving the visual perception functions and daily life activities dementia patients and simultaneous application of the two interventions would increase the effect even further.

  • 공간 지각은 일반적으로 물체(형태)를 인식하는 능력에 대한 문제로 여겨진다. 대안적으로, 형태 지각 연구는 시각 공간의 기하학에 관한 논의에 기여한다. 이러한 공간의 기하학은 일반적으로 유클리드가 아닌, 타원, 유사성, 또는 아핀(affine) 기하학으로 알려져 왔다. 다시 말해, 많은 형태 지각 연구들에서 보여 왔듯, 공간은 변형된 기하학으로 지각된다. 이 논문의 목적은 지각된 형태와 시각적으로 유도되는 행동과 관련된 시각 공간의 기하학에 대한 이해를 돕기 위함이다. 따라서 지각과 행위의 관계에 대해 설명하고 있는 두 이론을 비교해 본다. 제한된 인지와 더 나아가서, 인공 지능 연구와의 융합에 있어서 이러한 인간의 기본적인 공간 지각 능력과 시각적으로 유도되는 행위를 먼저 이해하는 것이 중요하다.

  • The purpose of this study is to suggest a basis for exterior space improving in university campus in terms of upgrading the quality of university education environment by analysing user's cognition and physical feature about campus exterior space. For this, this study was survey six major university students in Busan city about perception of campus exterior space, and analyzes the user's cognition by using natural-language vocabulary analysis for qualitative approach. Next, this study analyzes the physical feature of campus exterior space by investigating user's intensive using spaces and preferred, non-preferred spaces in their universities, then propose the improved direction of campus exterior space by comparing the analyzed data of user's cognition and physical feature. A SPSS20 program is used for the data analysis and the sample sizes are 171 college students.

Vibration Tactile Foreign Language Learning: The Possibility of Embodied Instructional Media

  • On the basis of two premises and embodied cognition theory, the vibration tactile learning is proposed as an effective method for foreign language learning. The premises are: the real nature of language is sound and the source of sound is vibration. According to embodied cognition theory, cognition is inherently connected to bodily sensation rather than metaphysical and independent. As a result, the vibration tactile learning is: people are able to learn foreign language better by listening to sound and experiencing its vibration through touch rather than solely listening to sound. The effectiveness of vibration tactile learning is tested with two instructional media theories: media comparison and media attribute. For the comparison, an experiment is conducted with control and experimental groups. The attributes of vibration tactile media are investigated in points of relationships with the learning process. The experiment results indicate a small effect on the increased mean score. Three kinds of relationships are found between the media attribute and learning process: enforced stimulus, facilitated pronunciation, and assimilation of resonance to sound patterns through touch. Finally, this paper proposes a new theoretical development for instructional media research: an embodied cognition based media research and development.
