Now that we're in the big data era, data has taken on a new significance as the storage capacity has exploded from trillion bytes to petabytes at breakneck pace. As the use of cloud computing expands and becomes more commonly accepted, several businesses and institutions are opting to store their requests and data there. Cloud storage's concept of a nearly infinite storage resource pool makes data storage and access scalable and readily available. The majority of them, on the other hand, favour a single cloud because of the simplicity and inexpensive storage costs it offers in the near run. Cloud-based data storage, on the other hand, has concerns such as vendor lock-in, privacy leakage and unavailability. With geographically dispersed cloud storage providers, multicloud storage can alleviate these dangers. One of the key challenges in this storage system is to arrange user data in a cost-effective and high-availability manner. A multicloud storage architecture is given in this study. Next, a multi-objective optimization problem is defined to minimise total costs and maximise data availability at the same time, which can be solved using a technique based on the non-dominated sorting genetic algorithm II (NSGA-II) and obtain a set of non-dominated solutions known as the Pareto-optimal set.. When consumers can't pick from the Pareto-optimal set directly, a method based on Principal Component Analysis (PCA) is presented to find the best answer. To sum it all up, thorough tests based on a variety of real-world cloud storage scenarios have proven that the proposed method performs as expected.
A cloud computing service provider must assure Service Level Agreement (SLA) to provide reliable and consistent quality of service to a user. The SLA is a contract between the user and the service provider that connects to assure constant level such as availability to target provided service. The cloud computing is classified into IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS according to IT resources of the various cloud service. The existing SLA is difficult to reflect quality factors of service because it only considers factors about the physical Network environment. In this paper, we suggest the UDDI-based interchange process with the architecture and the specification language having a XML schema for the SLA specification. The quality requirements of SaaS are defined by a proposed specification language in the cloud environment. It is stored in the repository of a quality specification and exchanged on during the service binding time based on the exchange architecture.

Advances in technology have given educators a tool to empower them to assist with developing the best possible human resources. Teachers at universities prefer to use more modern technological advances to help them educate their students. This opens up a necessity to research the capabilities of cloud-based learning services so that educational solutions can be found among the available options. Based on that, this essay looks at models and levels of deployment for the e-learning cloud architecture in the education system. A project involving educators explores whether gement Systems (LMS) can function well in a collaborative remote learning environment. The study was performed on how Blackboard was being used by a public institution and included research on cloud computing. This test examined how Blackboard Learn performs as a teaching tool and featured 60 participants. It is evident from the completed research that computers are beneficial to student education, especially in improving how schools administer lessons. Convenient tools for processing educational content are included as well as effective organizational strategies for educational processes and better ways to monitor and manage knowledge. In addition, this project's conclusions help highlight the advantages of rolling out cloud-based e-learning in higher educational institutions, which are responsible for creating the integrated educational product. The study showed that a shift to cloud computing can bring progress to educational material and substantial improvement to student academic outcomes, which is related to the increased use of better learning tools and methods.
IoT-Cloud service, integration of Internet of Things (IoT) and Cloud, is becoming a critical model for realizing creative and futuristic application services. Since IoT machines have little computing capacity, it is effective to attaching public Cloud resources for realizing IoT-Cloud service. Furthermore, utilizing containers and adopting a microservice architecture for developing IoT-Cloud service are useful for effective realization. The quality of microservice based IoT-Cloud service is affected by service function chaining which inter-connects each functions. For example, an issue with some of the functions or a bottleneck of inter-connection can degrade the service quality. To ensure functionality of the entire service, various test procedures considering various service environments are required to improve the service continuously. Hence in this paper, we introduce experimental realization of continuous integration based on DevOps and employ application performance monitoring for Node.js based IoT-Cloud service. Then we discuss its effectiveness.

Today, the cloud computing has become a major demand of many organizations. The major reason behind this expansion is due to its cloud's sharing infrastructure with higher computing efficiency, lower cost and higher fle3xibility. But, still the security is being a hurdle that blocks the success of the cloud computing platform. Therefore, a novel Multi-tenant Decentralized Information Flow Control (MT-DIFC) model is introduced in this research work. The proposed system will encapsulate four types of entities: (1) The central authority (CA), (2) The encryption proxy (EP), (3) Cloud server CS and (4) Multi-tenant Cloud virtual machines. Our contribution resides within the encryption proxy (EP). Initially, the trust level of all the users within each of the cloud is computed using the proposed two-stage trust computational model, wherein the user is categorized bas primary and secondary users. The primary and secondary users vary based on the application and data owner's preference. Based on the computed trust level, the access privilege is provided to the cloud users. In EP, the cipher text information flow security strategy is implemented using the blowfish encryption model. For the data encryption as well as decryption, the key generation is the crucial as well as the challenging part. In this research work, a new optimal key generation is carried out within the blowfish encryption Algorithm. In the blowfish encryption Algorithm, both the data encryption as well as decryption is accomplishment using the newly proposed optimal key. The proposed optimal key has been selected using a new Self Improved Cat and Mouse Based Optimizer (SI-CMBO), which has been an advanced version of the standard Cat and Mouse Based Optimizer. The proposed model is validated in terms of encryption time, decryption time, KPA attacks as well.

In a hybrid architecture that combines the technological advantages of P2P(peer-to-peer) and cloud computing, it is possible to efficiently supply resources and allocate loads. In other words, by appropriately utilizing the processing power of the players constituting P2P as well as the server in the cloud computing environment, MMOG(Massively Multiplayer Online Game) can be configured that considers the scale of economic cost and service quality. In fact, the computing power and communication bandwidth of servers in the cloud are important demand-based resources. The more it is used when renting, the higher the cost, while the quality of service improves. On the other hand, if the player's processing power is utilized a lot, the quality of service deteriorates relatively while the economic cost decreases. In this paper, a bandwidth adjustment technique between servers and players for MMOG based on this hybrid structure is described. When the number of players running at the same time increases, the players' actions are appropriately distributed to servers and players to effectively utilize the server's computing power and communication volume. Simulation results show that in the MMOG based on cloud and P2P hybrid architecture, the bandwidth of the server is proportionally decreased as the bandwidth directly handled by players is increased.

Recently, the Univeral Plug and Play (UPnP) Form has relased UPnP Cloud, which is an extension to the basic UPnP architecture that enables device to device connectivity across the Internet. UPnP Cloud uses the Extensible Messaging and Presence Protocol (XMPP) to connect devices located in different domains. In this paper, the details of the UPnP Cloud are presented. We demonstrate how UPnP Cloud enables contents to be shared remotely, and how it can be used in connection with DLNA.
Usage control models are the new breed of access control models that allow description of comprehensive policies for usage of protected content. In this paradigm, decisions regarding access to objects are not limited to request time only. It is coupled with the usage of the protected objects and becomes a continuous process carried out in parallel to the usage. The realization of usage control has been a long standing research problem to overcome the issue of loss of control in secure document dissemination. With the emergence of cloud computing, documents are stored in the cloud, the document viewers and editors themselves reside in the cloud and are accessed from thin clients such as browsers. We note that such scenarios provide an ideal opportunity for the realization of usage control for securing the usage of documents based on the stakeholders' policies. In this paper, we proposed Multimedia Content Management (MCM) for a better realization multimedia content in the cloud based applications. We designed a robust architecture to provide fine-grained control over usage of protected objects through the use of emerging cloud computing paradigm. We present the design principles for this realization and discuss our proposed architecture.

In this paper, we propose subregion-based area of interest management techniques for MMORPG(massively multiplayer online role playing games) integrating P2P(peer-to-peer) networking and cloud computing. For the crowded region, the proposed techniques partition it into several subregions and assign a player to manage each subregion as a coordinator. These techniques include a load balancing mechanism which regulates communication and computation overhead of such player below the specified threshold. We also provide a mechanism for satisfying the criterion, where subregions overlapped with each player's view must be switched quickly and seamlessly as the view moves around in the game world. In the proposed techniques where an efficient provisioning of resources is realized, they relieve a lot of computational power and network traffic, the load on the servers in the cloud by exploiting the capacity of the players effectively. Simulation results show that the MMORPG based on cloud and P2P architecture can reduce the considerable bandwidth at the server compared to the client server architecture as the available resources grow with the number of players in crowding or hotspots.

This work is mainly focused on two major topics in cloud platforms by using OpenStack as a case study: management and provisioning of resources to meet the requirements of a service demanded by remote end-user and relocation of virtual machines (VMs) requests to offload the encumbered compute nodes. The general framework architecture contains two subsystems: 1) An orchestrator that allows to systematize provisioning and resource management in OpenStack, and 2) A resource utilization based subsystem for vibrant VM relocation in OpenStack. The suggested orchestrator provisions and manages resources by: 1) manipulating application program interfaces (APIs) delivered by the cloud supplier in order to allocate/control/manage storage and compute resources; 2) interrelating with software-defined networking (SDN) controller to acquire the details of the accessible resources, and training the variations/rules to manage the network based on the requirements of cloud service. For resource provisioning, an algorithm is suggested, which provisions resources on the basis of unused resources in a pool of VMs. A sub-system is suggested for VM relocation in a cloud computing platform. The framework decides the proposed overload recognition, VM allocation algorithms for VM relocation in clouds and VM selection.
