  • We will take a multitude EJB Design Patterns that you can harness to enhance your EJB Project today In this paper, we propose the EJB Based Entity Bean DBMS connecting system. Generally, EJB Based Entity Beans are respectively connected by DBMS. Therefore, for the this problems we suggest that Abstract Factory pattern uses DBMS connecting of Entity Beans. As a result, we evaluate MIF and CF in every class relationship.

  • This paper addresses for the first time the use of complete data information criteria in unsupervised learning of the Naive-Bayes model. A Monte Carlo study sets a large experimental design to assess these criteria, unusual in the Bayesian network literature. The simulation results show that complete data information criteria underperforms the Bayesian information criterion (BIC) for these Bayesian networks.

  • The rotorcraft makes lift and control forces by the rotor thrust. At the development phase of the rotorcraft, the operational limitations have to be established. And it shall be demonstrated to operate the rotorcraft safely within the limitations. This paper introduces establishment and evaluation results of operational rotor speed limitations for the medium class utility rotorcraft. And it shows the follow-up activities after design changes of rotor speed indicators and aural warning systems for implementing the rotor speed limitations.

  • In this work, we propose a concurrency control scheme in object-oriented database (OODB). Since an OODB provides complex modeling power than the conventional relational databases, a concurrency control technique in OODB is also rather complicated and has influence on the overall performance. Thus, it is very important to develop a concurrency control technique with less overhead. The proposed scheme deals with class hierarchy that is a key concept in OODBs. The proposed scheme is developed on implicit locking scheme. Also, the proposed scheme is designed using data access frequency in order to reduce locking overhead than implicit locking. It means that, if access frequency information is not available, the proposed scheme works just like the existing implicit locking, In our work, the correctness of the proposed scheme is proved. The performance is analyzed depending on access types. Also, it is proved that our scheme performs works much better than the implicit locking does.

  • The study was done with the hypothesis that internet users' evaluation of hotel web sites would be differed depending on the class, location, size, ownership, and guest type of hotels. The study found that location, guest type are loosing their strategical importances in the internet marketing. However, class, size, and ownership are still favorable marketing tools with the internet. The study also found that the location gap between metropolitan and local hotels is decreasing, and the chance of attracting potential customers will be evenly offered to the two type of hotels in the internet oriented business environment.

  • Objective: Treating Class II subdivision malocclusion with asymmetry has been a challenge for orthodontists because of the complicated characteristics of asymmetry. This study aimed to explore the characteristics of dental and skeletal asymmetry in Class II subdivision malocclusion, and to assess the relationship between the condyle-glenoid fossa and first molar. Methods: Cone-beam computed tomographic images of 32 patients with Class II subdivision malocclusion were three-dimensionally reconstructed using the Mimics software. Forty-five anatomic landmarks on the reconstructed structures were selected and 27 linear and angular measurements were performed. Paired-samples t-tests were used to compare the average differences between the Class I and Class II sides; Pearson correlation coefficient (r) was used for analyzing the linear association. Results: The faciolingual crown angulation of the mandibular first molar (p < 0.05), sagittal position of the maxillary and mandibular first molars (p < 0.01), condylar head height (p < 0.01), condylar process height (p < 0.05), and angle of the posterior wall of the articular tubercle and coronal position of the glenoid fossa (p < 0.01) were significantly different between the two sides. The morphology and position of the condyle-glenoid fossa significantly correlated with the three-dimensional changes in the first molar. Conclusions: Asymmetry in the sagittal position of the maxillary and mandibular first molars between the two sides and significant lingual inclination of the mandibular first molar on the Class II side were the dental characteristics of Class II subdivision malocclusion. Condylar morphology and glenoid fossa position asymmetries were the major components of skeletal asymmetry and were well correlated with the three-dimensional position of the first molar.

  • Purpose: The purpose of this study was to evaluate the morphology of the mandibular cortex in cases of medication-related osteonecrosis of the jaw (MRONJ) in patients with osteoporosis or bone metastases using a computer programme. Materials and Methods: Fifty-four patients with MRONJ (35 with osteoporosis and 19 with bone metastases) were examined using panoramic radiography. The morphology of the mandibular cortex was evaluated using a computer programme that scanned the mandibular inferior cortex and automatically assessed the mandibular cortical index (MCI) according to the thickness and roughness of the mandibular cortex, as follows: normal (class 1), mildly to moderately eroded (class 2), or severely eroded (class 3). The MCI classifications of MRONJ patients with osteoporosis or bone metastases were evaluated with the Pearson chi-square test. In these analyses, a 5% significance level was used. Results: The MCI of MRONJ patients with osteoporosis(class 1: 6, class 2: 15, class 3: 14) tended to be higher than that of patients with bone metastases(class 1: 14, class 2: 5, class 3: 0)(P=0.000). Conclusion: The use of a computer programme to assess mandibular cortex morphology may be an effective technique for the objective and quantitative evaluation of the MCI in MRONJ patients with osteoporosis or bone metastases.
