  • Objectives: The purpose of this study is to investigate the safety, injury mechanism, complication and adverse reactions associated with Chuna manual theraphy(CMT), to report one case of adverse reaction with CMT. Methods: A 39-year-old woman presented with low back pain and left leg pain. The patient undertook a lumbar Chuna manual theraphy. After this maneuver, the patient complained of dorsalgia. The patient's dorsalgia didn't improve. In CT study, T5-6 hard disc bulging was diagnosed. Results and Conclusions : It is supposed that this patient suffered dorsalgia secondarily due to a lumbar Chuna manual theraphy. From this case, we can understand the etiology of dorsalgia to some extent and consider the complication of Chuna manual theraphy. In the future, more study, research and prospective trial for complications of a lumbar Chuna manual theraphy is required.

  • Objectives: The purpose of this study is to investigate the safety, injury mechanism, complication and adverse reactions associated with Chuna manual theraphy(CMT), to report one case of adverse reaction with Thai Massage(TM). Methods: A 76-year-old woman presented with chest pain and dorsalgia. The patient undertook a TM. The patient's chest pain didn't improve by Korean medecine. In MRI study, sternal fracture was diagnosed. Results and Conclusions : It is supposed that this patient suffered chest pain and dorsalgia due to a TM. From this case, we can understand the etiology of sternal fracture to some extent and consider the complication of Chuna manual theraphy through TM. In addition, This study raises the awareness of the possibility of a sternal fracture caused by a low-energy CMT technique.

  • Objectives : Visual check and X-ray are commonly used by chiropractors to estimate ieg length inequality, This study have three categories: diagnosis for anatomic leg length inequality; difference between anatomic and functional leg length inequality; theraphies for anatomic or functional leg length inequality. Methods : We referred to a PubMed site by using word of 'leg length [JU] J Manipulative Physiol Ther', only items with abstracts. Results : We searched 26 articles in J Manipulative Physiol Ther with the key word-Ieg length. Conclusion : 1. Radiographs were most accurate and commonly used by chiropractors to measure anatomic leg length inequality, clinically wood block, tape measure, visual check are acceptable. 2. There was no article about difference between anatomic and functional leg length inequality. 3. Heel lift was commonly used with conservative theraphy for anatomic leg length Inequality. 4. Chiropractors have not yet proved that the supposed positive effects are a result of a reduction of subluxation, The detection of the manipulative lesion in the sacroiliac joint depends on valid and reliable tests, Because such tests have not been established, the presence of the manipulative lesion remains hypothetical. Great effort is needed to develop, establish and enforce valid and reliable test procedures.

Among the causes, aberration of posture may play a role in the development of LBP. Many investigators have assessed the curvature of spine in standing posture. But LBP is associated with Lumber Hyperlordosis of Hyperlordosis is controversial Subjects: In conservative treatment(acupuncture, herb med, manipulation & TENS. exercise, potural correction) for a 40 years old woman who had low back pain(V AS) be caused by decrease lumbar lordotic angie. Objectives: The object is change of lumbar lordotic angle of a 40 years old woman who had low back pain with Lumbar hyperlordosis, In conservative treatment. Method: In conservative treatment, We added taping therapy(mechanical correction taping of Kinesio Taping) about Lumbar Lordosis. Conclusion: We experienced a 40 years old woman who had love pack pain with Lumbar hyperlordosis. In conservative treatment, Her pain was Improved by additional taping therapy In company with decrease of Lumbar Lordosis. 1. abnormal spinal curvature, specially lumbar hyperlordosis act on induction & perpetuation agent for low back pain 2. In a patient had low back pain with lumbar hyperlordosis, change of lumbar lordotic angle is of utility value for the effect of treatment and assessment of prognosis. 3. pain control is more relative with change of lumbosacral angle than lumbar lordotic angle, in patient had low back pain with lumbar hyperlordosis. 4. mechanical taping therapy with elastic adhesive tape is effective for patient had low back pain with lumbar hyperlordosis

Methods : The 30 patients were divided into 2 groups : group A was treated except myofascial releasement and group B was treated with myofascial releasement. Both group were treated with acupuncture treatment, physical theraphy and herbal medication. Patients were evaluated by McGill Pain Questionnaire-Short Form(SF-MPQ), Visual Analogue Scale(VAS), Pain Disability Index(PDI) and Neck Disability Index(NDI). Results : 1. Both Group were significantly decreased in affective of SF-MPQ, VAS, after 10 times of treatment. 2. Group B compared with the Group A was significantly decreased in affective of SF-MPQ, NDI and PDI after 10 times of treatment.
