Finite element analysis of forging for spring cup of engine valve (엔진 벨브 스프링 컵 단조의 유한요소해석)

  • Forging for spring cup of engine valve was investigated in this study. New method is needed to reduce cost and development lead time required to fix forming process of new product, that eventually can provide die, metal flow and forming loads with high confidence level. FEM could provide required detail information that could reduce trial error in advance before the actual production. By using the rigid-plastic finite element simulation, possibilities of improving former research were explored. Results generated by FEM could foresee expected material deformation in advance and made possible new forming process successfully.

  • 비정질 실리콘 태양전지의 효율을 증가하기 위하여 많이 사용되는 방법 중 하나는 입사되는 빛의 산란을 증가하여 태양전지의 광흡수를 증가시키는 방법이다. 이를 위하여 양극전극으로 사용되는 TCO층의 일정한 패턴 처리를 통하여 광산란을 증가시키는 방법이 사용되고 있다. 본 연구에서는 나노 임프린트 리소그래피방법을 사용하여 Ag 나노로드를 증착한 기판을 제조하고 이를 비정질 실리콘 태양전지에 적용하였다. 실험결과, 그림과 같이 높이와 너비가 300nm 정도로 일정한 패턴의 Ag 나노로드를 제조하였다. 또한, 그 위에 증착된 Si 박막의 경우, 나노로드 전체를 감싸는 돔 형태로 성장하였다. 이와 같은 나노로드 위에 substrate n-i-p 구조의 비정질 박막 태양전지를 증착하고 그 특성변화를 분석하고자 하였다.

Characterization of Glycolipid Biosurfactants from an Isolated Strain of Pseudomonas aeruginosa YPJ80

  • A glycolipid type of biosurfactants was obtained from a strain which had been isolated from soil. The cell was identified as Pseudomonas aeruginosa from taxonomic characteristics and was designated as YPJ80. Thin layer chromatography and deoxyhexose detection tests were done to verify the type of biosurfactant. Critical micelle concentration (CMC) of the surfactant was observed to be 50 ppm and the minimum surface tension was 30.1 mN/m. As an emulsifier, YPJ80 biosurfactant was superior to emulsan in the emulsification of crude Arabian light oil.

  • This paper deals with dynamic characteristics of LSRM. Position choose mover of LSRM and inductance. When approved current in each phase by decided position, we made sure current and voltage according to turn-on, turn-off. In dynamic simulation of LSRM, through an experiment, we decided turn-on position of inductance profile. Also, we presented dynamic characteristic analysis model which is consisted at motor and sensor signal part, etc., and substitute circuit constant that get using magnetic equivalent circuit method, we confirmed current and voltage waveform.

Isolation of Sorangium cellulosum Carrying Epothilone Gene Clusters

  • Epothilone and its analogs are a potent new class of anticancer compounds produced by myxobacteria. Thus, in an effort to identify new myxobacterial strains producing epothilone and its analogs, cellulose-degrading myxobacteria were isolated from Korean soils, and 13 strains carrying epothilone biosynthetic gene homologs were screened using a polymerase chain reaction. A migration assay revealed that Sorangium cellulosum KYC3013, 3016, 3017, and 3018 all produced microtubule-stabilizing compounds, and an LC-MS/MS analysis showed that S. cellulosum KYC3013 synthesized epothilone A.

  • 본 논문에서는 짝수 홀수 분해법 (even-odd decomposition; EOD) 에 기초한 CCI (cubic convolution interpolation) 변형된 방법을 제안한다. CCI는 선형보간법과 더불어 영상 보간에서 가장 많이 사용되는 보간법이다. 선형보간법과 비교하여 우수한 화질을 제공하지만, 복잡도 상당히 증가하는 문제점을 갖고 있다. 따라서, 본 논문은 최근 제안된 짝수 홀수 분해법을 활용하여 CCI에 대한 새로운 보간 방법을 제시한다. 제안된 방법의 성능을 검증하기 위해서 실험이 수행되었고 실험결과는 변형된 CCI 보간 방법이 복잡도를 줄임과 동시에 영상 화질을 개선할 수 있음을 보여 주었다.
