The purpose of this study was to analyze the mediating effects of mothers' depression on the relationships of marital conflict and young children's problem behaviors. Data was collected from 177 young children and their mothers. The results of this study revealed that young children's problem behaviors were significantly positively correlated with mothers' marital conflict and depression. Mothers' marital conflict were also significantly positively correlated with hyperactivity, anxious and aggressive behaviors. Mothers' depression was significantly positively correlated with hyperactivity, anxious and aggressive behaviors. Regression analysis revealed that marital conflict significantly affected their depression. Mothers' depression also significantly affected young children's hyperactivity, anxious and aggressive behaviors. The relationship between marital conflict and young children's problem behaviors was fully mediated by mothers' depression.

With the emergence of a climate crisis, climate disasters have recently been clearly felt in Korea. In particular, the typhoon 'Hinnamno' in the summer of 2022 made many people feel a sense of crisis with its formidable power. In this situation, children are likely to suffer great damage even in small crises due to their lack of experience and ability to cope with disaster situations. In this paper, we introduce a disaster response learning application that supports children's disaster response training. Designed based on research results on situational learning theory and child disaster safety education, this system produces various episodes and trains them to encounter disaster situations. Children can participate in the episode by choosing options during the episode, which is reflected in the picture diary after the episode is completed. By providing information naturally in the picture diary, children can access how to cope with disaster situations. Through this system, children are expected to develop their judgment in disaster situations that they can encounter and have the ability to secure basic safety outside of adult help.

The purpose of the study is to determine the relationship between the infection control organizational culture, infection prevention environment, and infection control performance of nurses at a children's hospital and to identify factors affecting infection control performance. The subjects of the study were 160 nurses from five children's hospitals, and data collection was conducted from February 19 to 29, 2024. Data analysis was performed using frequency, percentage, mean, standard deviation, and difference analysis of variables using t-test, ANOVA, Pearson's correlation analysis, and multiple regression analysis. As a result of the study, infection control performance was positively correlated with infection control organizational culture (r= .610, p< .001) and infection prevention environment (r= .586, p< .001), and as a result of multiple regression analysis, infection control organization The influencing factors appeared in the following order: culture (β= .369), infection prevention environment (β= .312), medical institution accreditation evaluation experience (β= .165), and infection control education experience (β= .137), and the overall explanatory power was It was 50.8% (F=41.966, p< .001). Based on the results of this study, to carry out infection control in children's hospitals, integrated management including the will and effort of individual nurses, support and policy from medical institutions and the government is needed, and the development of an infection control education program that takes into account the special characteristics of children's hospital nurses. Application is necessary.

The purpose of this study is to conduct computational thinking-based software education for a 5-year-old, and to analyze educational meanings. For the study, a total of 10 activities were applied for 50 children at two kindergartens located in Seoul and the collected data were analyzed qualitatively. As a result of the study, the educational meaning that founded to young children in software classes was finding problems in prior experiences, approaching the simulation process with stories, and feeling of interest and achievement through software devices. The educational meanings that founded to the teacher were to ask questions to support the procedural thinking process, to lead the thought process to concrete experiences, and to move between group activities and individual activities appropriately. In the future, research on the effectiveness of computational thinking-based software education should be conducted.

The military's morale is a serious threat in terms of defense posture and protection of national security and the nation's right to survival, as it has led to losses in talented manpower, weakened fighting spirit, damaged troop confidence, and reduced work efficiency and morale. Under these circumstances, a stronger defense posture and maximum morale among the troops should be followed by a thorough diagnosis and results on the factors affecting the military's morale. Professional soldiers often travel to work because of the special nature of their jobs. Among the problems associated with these characteristics is child education. Frequent shifts of military sites are intended to be made based on the analysis of the overall state of the military service education system, such as moving frequently with family members or separating with the family due to issues related to children's education.

The purpose The purpose of this study was to compare and observe research trends of sex education for young children·elementary school students·middle school students, provide base material for research on sex education, and present research prospects and tasks for the future. For this, 30 theses from Korean journals related to sex education for young children·elementary school students·middle school students from years 2000 to 2019 were extracted and analysis was conducted on the general trends (by research period and by academic field) of sex education and they were categorized by research topic, by research subject, and by research method. Research results showed that, with research period, research increased in the mid-2000s and with journal trends by research subject, and was published in 24 journals. Second, with regard to research topic aspects, most studies looked into 'sex education perceptions and conditions' and research dealing with 'gender concept development' and 'program development and teaching method strategies' also increased. Third, in terms of the research subjects, there were 9 papers for children, 6 papers for elementary students, 14 papers for middle school students, 2 for high school students, and 9 papers for teachers and parents. Fourth, with trends according to research methods, the quantitative research method of 'questionnaires' was used most and following were 'literary studies' and 'interviews', in that order. Reflecting these research results, discussions were presented and proposals for future studies were made.

Children's food allergies are increasing every year, and the proportion of children who go to childcare centers is also on the rise due to the increase of women's social activities. In this study, the directors of home childcare centers in C city was supposed to investigate the current status of food allergy management and its knowledge, attitude, and practice, and to prepare basic data for safe feeding of children. The study found that there were not many opportunities for teachers and cooking staffs to learn about food allergies compared to the director of childcare center, and that the directors with experience of education are desirable in knowledge, attitude and practice of food allergy management. Therefore, the government should provide education on food allergies by using various contents and media tailored to each level of directors, teacher, and cooking staff, and provide continuous promotion and support to ensure proper management of food allergies in childcare centers.

Against the backdrop of China's implementation of the "universal two-child" policy, the expansion of higher education, and the narrowing gender gap in the labor market and family status, we investigated the impact of the number of children on parental labor supply and occupational prestige scores using data from the China Family Panel Studies (CFPS) for 2016 and 2018. We found that the influence of children on the parental labor market shifted from labor supply to occupational prestige scores. Heterogeneity analysis reveals a more negative significant adverse impact of younger children on parental labor market performance compared with children over 7 years old. Compared to rural areas, parents in urban areas experience a more significant negative impact from an increase in the number of children. Extended families facilitate rural fathers' employment and leads to a decline in occupational prestige for urban parents.
