아프리카 북 어워드 선정 책표지에 대한 컬러 경향 연구 (Color Analysis Of African Picture Book Covers : Focused On Selected Book Covers From 'Children's Africana Book Awards')

  • In the design of any picture book, graphic artists employ the use of color, typeface and illustration to produce attractive book covers. This study is an analysis of selected book covers in the 'Africana Children's Book Awards' (Young Readers category) between 2009 and 2014. The book covers are mainly illustrations originally done in media such as acrylics and oil paintings on canvas. In the article, the author analyses the front covers in terms of hue, Saturation and brightness using a colour map. This work also discusses why certain colours have been used in the design of the covers thus; providing information on color scheme trends for picture books in the Children's Africana Awards Category.

영·유아용 외국그림책의 그림, 글 및 문화적 내용에 대한 번역 내용 분석 연구 (Analysis of Korean Translations of Foreign Picture Books for Young Children)

  • Of the 2,593 children picture books published in Korea between 2001 and 2003, 46% were Korean in origin, while 53.9% were Korean translations of books originally in English, Japanese, French, or German. This study compared 45 of the translations with the originals. Of these, 49.2% had contents not included in the originals, and 31.1 % had omitted contents. More over, 7.6% of the Korean versions were different in punctuation codes and signs, and 6.7% were different from originals in length of sentences. Most of the books were on general or global issues rather than culture-bound. However, among the English books, there were more than 20 cases different from Korean culture in person's names, external appearance, food, and/or clothing.

Convergence Learning Program based on Childhood's Sociopsychological Development and Design Thinking

  • This study inquired about the convergence learning program for childhood based on Erikson's play theory and design education for children's behavior development. I analyzed the convergence learning programs of Summer Camps in the Pacific Science Center, Galileo Learning. The contents of the programs show the most used imaginary and symbolic contents that represent the real-world problems which are related design thinking process. The curriculums and structure of the programs are based on the design thinking method and K-12 theory. The visual thinking method and the applications are used for expressing their creativity and approaching the technical skills easily. The play concept theory is an affirmative way to strengthen the children's psychological and social development. Therefore, the convergence learning program should integrate the design thinking process and apply the play concept theory for supporting and developing the children's behavior.

쌀 중심식사와 밀가루 중심식사의 영양소 섭취량 비교연구 -대구와 밀양지역을 중심으로- (A Comparative Study on the Nutrient Content of Rice-Based and Wheat-Based Meals in Miryang and Daegu)

  • This study was conducted to compare the nutrient content of rice-based meals and wheat-based meals. The subjects consisted of elementary school children, middle school students, high school students, college students and adults living in the Miryang and Daegu area. A dietary survey was conducted using a 24-hour recall method and data were collected from 941 subjects. Nutrient contents were analyzed by CAN Pro. All nutrient contents in rice-based meals, except vitamin B2, were higher than those in wheat-based meals. But lipid and cholesterol contents of wheat-based meals were higher than those in rice-based meals. Comparing age groups, all nutrient contents obtained from rice-based meals, except vitamin B group, were higher than those in wheat-based meals in all age groups except the adult group. In the adult group, protein, fiber, vitamin A, niacin and vitamin C were consumed higher from rice-based meals, but energy, lipid, calcium, iron, vitamin B and cholesterol were consumed higher from wheat-based meals. lipid and cholesterol contents of wheat-based meals were higher than those of rice-based meals in all age groups, except elementary school children. When compared the nutrient intakes of Korean RDA, major nutritional problems of each age groups were due to the inadequate intakes of calcium and iron. And all nutrient contents, except vitamin B group, in wheat-based meals were very low in every age group.

유아예절 연구의 동향 분석 - 석.박사학위논문과 학술지논문을 중심으로 - (Research Trends of Children's Manners on the Related Thesis & Dissertation in Korea)

  • This study analyzes the tendency for studies of children's manners in Korea. This research provides basic information for future research on the study of children's manners. I reviewed previous research during Mar.10~Apr. 30., 2009, and published articles that used terms such as 'ye-jul', 'yua ye-jul', 'jun-tong ye-jul', and 'yua-dare kyo yuk' as key-words provided by the National Assembly Library and Academic Information Center, and the terms were used for contents analysis. In the past, parents usually taught manners to their children at home, but now, most children learn etiquette at kindergarten and day care centers. A greater portion of the studies dealing with children's manners has been published since 2001. The experimental method was used for most of this research. Based on the results, I have made suggestion regarding the direction of future studies of children's manners. Research should investigate the value of children's manners and philosophy in future research. Based on the personal characteristics of each child and their understanding of the ecological environment, studies of children's manners require an interdisciplinary research approach or ecological research approach. These studies should continue to research in cooperation with kindergartens and day care centers. In addition, further research should focus on an effective teaching method or instructional media research of children's manners.

The Design and implementation of the game for improving disabled children's intelligence

  • In this paper, I proposed the general children's games and showed the design and implementation of children's games which are non-violent, emotionally helpful and good for the development of intelligence. I designed the user interface of the game for children, proposed relevant algorithms, and showed resultant screens of the game. Most of contemporary games are violent to children. To solve such problems, I designed and implemented the game which is not violent but educative and child-friendly. These days, entertainment games or Internet online games have been developed highly biased to children's interest and amusement rather than children's intellectual development. Usually, disabled children are inferior to normal children in movement of their hands and bodies. Therefore, it is hard for them to follow speedy games. This paper shows that the proposed intellectual development of the game can help disabled children not to be violent and to be more intelligent. That was proved by the results through the question investigation. According to the survey, disabled children's any violent actions were not reported after they played this game. Also, this game helped their intellectual development in accordance with the results of this study.

다운증후군 아동과 정상아동의 보호자와의 사회적 상호관계에 대한 비교연구 (Social Interaction of Caregivers and Their Children with Down Syndrome or Without Disability)

  • 아이들의 사회성 발달에 있어 정서에 대한 이해는 매우 중요한 역할을 한다. 장애를 갖지 않은 아이들은 특별한 중재 없이도 정서적 발달을 하지만 장애를 가진 아이들, 특히 정신 지체 아이들은 부모의 양육태도에 따라 정서적 발달이 다르게 나타난다는 연구결과가 보고되고 있다. 이에 본 연구에서는 10명의 다운증후군 아이들과 부모들 그리고 비교 그룹으로서 15명의 장애가 없는 아이들과 부모들을 대상으로 아이들과 부모들 사이의 상호 의사소통 하는 방법을 비교 분석하였고, 이를 토대로 다운증후군 아이의 부모들이 자신의 자녀들의 정서발달에 도움이 되는 적절한 의사소통 방법을 제공하고자 하였다. 예측했던 바와 같이, 다운증후군 아이들의 부모들이 비교그룹에 비해 행동적 표현과 관심을 이끌어 내려는 의사소통을 많이 한데 비해, 장애가 없는 아이들의 부모들은 대화중심 위주의 의사소통을 하였으며, 또한 정서와 관련된 표현을 많이 하였다. 이에 반하여 다운증후군 그룹은 색깔이나 모양에 대한 이름을 강조하는 등 좀 더 인지적인 면에 중점을 두면서 아이들과 의사소통을 했다. 따라서 다운증후군 아이들의 보다 적절한사회성 발달을 위해서는 부모들이 인지적인 면과 더불어 정서적인 측면을 강조하는 의사소통 방법을 수립할 필요가 있는 것으로 사료된다.

다중지능이론에 입각한 아동용 에듀테인먼트 콘텐츠 설계 연구 (A Study of Children's Edutainment Contents Design Based on Multiple Intellegence Theory)

  • Digital edutainment games and educational content to the concept of combining learning and to draw conclusions that can be varied and fun learning program. Yet effective design. There's a lot of discussion about the systematic and scientific research, explore the difficult, but so is the growing field of endless possibility. Merely a linguistic capabilities of human intelligence and mathematical ability were measured primarily on issues raised in the traditional intelligence tests, and emerged a variety of multiple intelligences theory of human intelligence classified into 8 types and characteristics of each intelligence activities and guidelines for faculty are presented. These lessons are based on multiple intelligences theory professor activities through the design study for students to form learning activities to meet effectively and systematically conducted classes, and student-specific classes can be designed. In this study, multiple intelligences theory, based on children's edutainment content by linguistic intelligence, and intrapersonal intelligence body-kinestic intelligent and can learn by linking to content that was designed. Children interested in animation and gaming content through the feeling that you can become stiff in Korean alphabet education to solve the quests were designed to be a natural puleonagal.

학령기 경계선 지능 아동의 학교에 대한 주관적 인식 유형 연구: Q방법론 적용 (A Study used Q-methodology on the Subjective Cognition-Patterns of School Aged Children with Borderline Intelligence Function to the School)

  • 본 연구는 학령기 경계선 지능 아동을 대상으로 Q방법론을 적용하여 '학교'에 대한 주관적 인식유형과 특성을 파악하고자 하였다. Q표본은 학계 및 현장전문가 4인, 경계선 지능 아동 4인에 대한 심층면접과 관련 문헌고찰을 통해 21개를 선정하였고, P표본은 초등학교에 재학 중인 경계선 지능 아동 총 18명의 학부모와 본인의 동의를 거쳐 표집하였다. P표본은 5점 척도의 정규분포로 Q분류를 실시하였고 수집된 데이터는 Quanl PC 프로그램을 통해 분석하였다. 연구결과 학령기 경계선 지능아동의 학교에 대한 태도유형은 '참여적-의존형'과 '방관적-위축형'의 두 가지 유형으로 도출되었다. 본 연구결과를 통해 학교에 대한 태도는 아동의 자존감 및 가족 지지환경의 양상에 따라 달라질 수 있으며 각 유형별 소속감의 욕구와 안전의 욕구에 대한 적절한 교육복지적 개입이 필요함을 알 수 있었다. 본 연구결과는 경계선 지능아동의 학교에 대한 주관적 유형을 구체화함으로써 경계선 지능 아동이 초등교육을 통해 중등교육 이상의 교육 권리와 학습의 질을 유지하도록 돕기 위한 교육중재 방안에 기초자료를 제공했다는 점에서 함의가 있다.

국제 기능 장애 건강분류의 구성요소에 기반을 둔 자기관리 훈련이 경직성 뇌성마비 아동의 기능적 독립성에 미치는 영향 (Effect of Self Care Training(based on International Classification of Functioning, Disability and Health) on Functional Independence in the Young Children with Spastic Cerebral Palsy)

  • 본 연구는 국제 기능 장애 건강분류의 구성요소에 기반을 둔 자기관리 훈련이 경직성 뇌성마비 아동의 기능적 독립성에 미치는 영향을 알아보고자 하였다. 연구대상은 K광역시 소재 병원 두 곳의 재활의학과에 내원하는 35개월 이상 72개월 미만인 경직성 뇌성마비 아동(남아=25, 여아=18) 중 GMFCS(Gross Motor Function Classification System) level III-IV인 아동 43명으로 구성하였다. 연구기 간은 2008년 8월 1일부터 2008년 9월 31일까지였고, 자기관리 훈련은 2인의 작업치료사에 의해 회당 30분씩 주 4회 제공되었다. 자기관리 훈련은 먹기, 꾸미기, 목욕하기, 화장실 사용하기의 4개 영역으로 구성하였다. 훈련 후 경직성 뇌성마비 아동의 기능적 독립성 변화는 Wee-FIM(Functional Independence Measure for Children)을 이용하여 측정하였다. 연구결과 자기관리 훈련 후 뇌성마비 아동의 기능적 독립성은 유의한 향상을 보였다. 위의 결과에 근거하여 자기관리 훈련을 경직성 뇌성마비 아동의 기능적 독립성 향상을 위해 효과적인 방법으로서 충분히 활용 할 수 있을 것으로 기대한다.
