영아의 기질과 어린이집 초기적응 간 관계에서 교사 - 영아관계의 조절효과: 수직적 전이집단과 수평적 전이집단을 중심으로 (The Influence of Infant's Temperament on Childcare Adaptation: Moderated Effect of Teacher-Infant Relationships)

  • Objective: The purpose of this study was to analyze the effects of infant temperament on adaptation at childcare centers and the moderated effects of teacher-infant relationships between a vertical transition group and horizontal transition group. Methods: The subjects of the study were 284 infants, aged 1-years-old and 2-years-old, who were hospitalized in childcare centers. To investigate the correlation between variables, Pearson correlation analysis was used. Regression analysis was performed to check the effects of temperament and teacher-infant relationship on childcare adaptation. Results: Infant temperament influenced childcare adaptation in both vertical and horizontal transition groups. The quality of teacher-infant relationships was found to moderate the relationship between infant temperament and childcare adaptation in both groups. Conclusion/Implications: The results of this study, which showed different moderating effects of the teacher-infant relationship in the vertical transfer group and the horizontal transfer group, suggest the need for more diverse studies on the various transition experiences regarding childcare transition.

영아교사의 능동적 직업선택동기가 영아와의 상호작용 질에 미치는 영향: 정서조절곤란의 조절효과를 중심으로 (Effects of Childcare Teachers' Active Motivation for Choosing a Profession on the Quality of Interaction with Infants and Toddlers: Focusing on the Moderating Role of Emotional Dysregulation)

  • Objective: The purpose of this study is to examine the effect of childcare teachers' active motivation for choosing a profession on the quality of their interaction with infants and toddlers, and to investigate the moderating effect of their emotional dysregulation. Methods: The subjects of this study were childcare teachers working with infants and toddlers. A mobile survey was conducted and a total of 282 sets of results have been collected. Moderating effects have been explored with the use of PROCESS Macro (version 3.5) Model 1. Results: The main findings showed that childcare teachers' emotional dysregulation played a moderating role in the effect of childcare teachers' active motivation on the quality of interaction with infants and toddlers. Conclusion/Implications: The results of this study imply that the ability of childcare teachers working with infants and toddlers to regulate their emotions can simultaneously play a role as a protective factor as well as a risk factor for the quality of interaction. Also, it was revealed that is necessary to give pre-service teachers an opportunity to deliberate on their motivations for a childcare teacher position.

보육교사와 예비교사의 응급처치에 대한 인식 비교 (Comparison between perception of early child care teachers and preservice child care teachers regarding the first aid)

  • 본 연구의 목적은 보육교사와 예비교사의 응급상황에 대한 대처 인식, 응급처치 방법에 대한 인식이 어떠한지 살펴보고, 이들 변인간의 차이를 알아보는데 있다. 연구 대상은 충청남도에 위치한 어린이집에서 근무하는 보육교사 188명과 동일 지역 소재 대학의 보육관련학과에 재학 중인 예비교사 70명을 대상으로 하였다. 수집된 자료는 빈도와 백분율로 처리하였고, 차이검증을 위해 교차분석을 실시하였다. 연구 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 응급상황에 대한 대처 인식 중 응급상황 발생 시 대처능력과 가장 많이 발생하는 응급상황에 대한 답변은 보육교사와 예비교사가 차이를 나타냈다. 심폐소생술 인식과 이에 대한 교육 참여인식은 보육교사와 예비교사 모두 인식하고 있었다. 둘째, 응급상황에 따른 처치방법에 대한 인식에서 오답률이 높은 상황으로 보육교사와 예비교사 전체는 끼임, 중독, 구토, 물림 순으로 나타났다. 각 변인별로 살펴보면, 보육교사는 중독, 끼임, 구토, 물림 순인데 반해, 예비교사는 끼임, 구토, 중독, 물림 순으로 나타나 세부적으로는 차이를 나타냈다. 보육교사와 예비교사가 차이를 나타낸 상황으로 출혈(상처), 고열, 심폐소생술로 모두 보육교사의 정답률이 높았다. 이상의 연구결과를 통해 다양한 응급처치 상황에 대한 실습교육이 필요함을 알 수 있다.

영아반 교사의 인구사회학적 특성과 원장과 동료교사의 정서적 지지가 보육효능감에 미치는 영향 (The Influence of Teacher's Demographic and Sociological Characteristics and the Emotional Support of the Director and Co-worker on the Childcare Efficacy of Infant Teacher)

  • 본 연구에서는 영아반 교사의 인구사회학적 특성과 원장과 동료의 정서적 지지가 보육효능감에 미치는 영향을 알아보는데 목적이 있다. 연구대상은 서울시와 경기도에 위치한 어린이집에 근무하는 영아반 교사 169명이다. 자료는 집단 간 차이를 알아보기 위해 t-검증과 ANOVA 분석을 실시하였고, 각 변인 간 관계 및 영향력을 알아보기 위해 상관관계분석과 다중회귀분석 방법을 사용하였다. 연구결과는 첫째, 영아반 교사의 인구사회학적 특성에 따른 보육효능감을 살펴보면 결혼여부와 경력에서 통계적으로 유의미한 차이가 나타났다. 둘째, 영아반 교사의 보육효능감은 동료교사 지지와 가장 큰 양의 상관을 가지고 있었고, 그 다음 원장 지지로 나타났다. 셋째, 영아반 교사의 보육효능감에 동료교사 지지, 경력, 결혼여부, 원장 지지 순으로 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 결론적으로 경력이 많고 기혼인 교사의 보육효능감이 높은 것으로 나타났으며, 영아반 교사의 보육효능감에는 동료교사의 정서적 지지가 가장 큰 영향을 미치고 있었다.

코로나19 상황에서 육아종합지원센터 어린이집 지원사업 운영실태와 어려움 및 지원요구 (Current Status, Difficulties, and Support Needs in Operating Support Projects for Childcare in Daycare Centers in the Support Centers for Childcare during the COVID-19 Pandemic)

  • 본 연구는 코로나19 상황에서 육아종합지원센터 어린이집 지원사업 운영실태를 파악하고, 운영 개선 및 발전 방안을 모색하는데 목적이 있다. 이를 위해 서울, 경기 지역 소재의 육아종합지원센터에서 어린이집 지원사업을 담당하는 보육전문요원 6인 대상으로 2022년 2월 1주부터 4주까지 심층 면담을 통해 자료를 수집하고 분석하였다. 연구 결과, 코로나19 상황에서 육아종합지원센터 어린이집 지원사업의 운영실태에 있어서는 사업 운영방식의 다양화, 비대면 교육 확대, 개별컨설팅 및 소규모 교육 요구가 증가한 것으로 나타났다. 운영상의 어려움은 미디어 활용 능력 부족, 예측 불가 상황에 대한 대처 부담, 어린이집과 보육정책기관 사이의 소통역할 미흡으로 나타났다. 지원 요구는 전산 전문인력 확보, 온라인교육 활성화를 위한 환경 구축, 긴급상황에서의 효율적 업무전달체계가 필요한 것으로 나타났다.

Factors Affecting the Safety Care Practice of Childcare Teachers

  • In this study, an attempt was made to provide basic data for the development of programs that can improve safety care practices in the future by identifying factors that influence childcare teachers' safety care practices. 134 childcare teachers participated, and the survey results were analyzed using SPSS WIN 21.0 statistical program. As a result of this study, there was a significant positive correlation between safety knowledge and attitude. There was no significant correlation with knowledge and safety care practices. It was found that safety attitude had a significant positive correlation with safety care practice.. The factor influencing safety care practice was attitude toward safety, and the explanatory power of the model was 46.1%. In order to improve the level of safety care practices of childcare teachers, a program that can be practically utilized through customized education tailored to the needs of childcare teachers and each field rather than simply imparting knowledge is absolutely essential.

X, M, Z 보육교사의 세대 및 직무 인식에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Generational and Job Perception of X, M, Z Generation Childcare Center Teacher)

  • Objective: This study examines the generational characteristics and job perceptions of early childhood teachers from Generations X, M, and Z. Methods: Seventeen teachers were selected based on their career and the types of childcare centers they worked in. Focus group interviews explored their job perceptions, teaching methods, career intentions, and strategies to attract future teachers. Results: The results revealed both positive and negative generational perceptions, with Generation X and M noted for diverse job experiences and Generation Z for digital skills. Individual differences were also observed. All generations reported low job satisfaction due to societal perceptions and environmental changes. Many teachers plan to change jobs. The study suggests utilizing generational strengths for peer support to enhance professional development. Conclusion/Implications: Furthermore, improvements in societal perception and treatment of childcare jobs are needed to attract future teachers. The findings suggest implications for enhanced intergenerational communication and collaboration in the childcare field.

자녀출산 전후의 부모들을 위한 양육여건 및 부모교육 실태 조사 - 대전광역시를 중심으로- (A Survey on Child Rearing Conditions and Parent Education for Parents before and after Childbirth)

  • The purpose of this study was to obtain a fundamental data for developing a policy concerning women and child rearing and a parent education program for young parents who are around their childbirth, a period crucially important both for the parents in terms of the role adjustment, career management, and family finance, and for the infants in terms of its physical and psychological well-being. The subjects were 509 mothers before and after childbirth currently living in the Metropolitan City of Daejeon. Data were obtained through questionnaires and interviews in two major areas of pregnancy-delivery-childcare and parent education. Data were analyzed using SAS, mostly through frequency analysis, percentiles, t-tests, and F-tests. Results of descriptive analyses were organized along the following areas and issues: Pregnancy(family planning, regular check-ups, difficulties, prenatal education, costs, etc.); delivery(type of delivery, delivery related experience, costs, clinic/medical institute of choice, worries/problems, help/supports, etc.); postpartum care(place, kinds of help and helper, costs, postpartum care facilities, etc.); childcare circumstances(place, carer, time schedules, childcare centers or facilities feeding and weaning, etc.); husband's attitudes and involvement in the overall process; working mothers(maternity leave, temporary retirement for child rearing, etc.); and, parent education(family planning, pregnancy, delivery, postpartum care, child rearing, areas or issues needing parent education, facilitative and hindering factors to ideal parenting, etc.). Differences between groups of pregnant mothers and postpartum mothers, working- and non-working mothers, groups of different income levels, mothers and fathers of different educational levels, mothers of first pregnancy(or childbirth) and experienced mothers were also analyzed. Several conclusions with suggestions were drawn in relation to the need for strong implementation as well as developing of policies on women and childcare and for developing a new parent education program for parents before and after childbirth.

보육교사의 정서표현규칙과 정서노동 수행전략에 관한 연구 (Emotional Display Rules and Emotional Labor Strategy of Childcare Teachers)

  • 이 논문은 보육교사의 직무에서 정서표현규칙의 하위요인과 정서노동 수행전략 간의 관계 및 영향력을 알아보는데 목적이 있다. 이를 위해 서울 지역 어린이집에 근무하는 보육교사 268명을 대상으로 설문조사를 실시하였고, 자료 분석을 위해 상관관계 분석과 회귀분석을 실시하였다. 연구 결과 첫째, 정서표현규칙 지각은 정서노동의 내면행동, 표면행동과 유의한 정적 상관이 있는 것으로 나타났으며, 내면행동은 정서표현규칙의 교육, 몰입, 공정성, 명확성과 유의한 정적 상관이 있는 것으로 나타났다. 둘째, 정서표현규칙 지각은 표면행동, 내면행동에 정적인 영향을 미치고, 정서표현규칙에 대한 몰입이 내면행동에 유의한 정적 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 이러한 결과를 바탕으로 보육교사의 정서노동을 지원하고 교사의 정서관리 능력향상을 위한 교육방향을 제안하였다.

부모의 어린이급식관리지원센터 인지도와 유아의 채소 섭취 관련 식생활 및 보육기관의 식단 메뉴에 관한 만족도 (Parents' Recognition of Center for Children's Food Service Management and Preschoolers' Satisfaction with Menu Provided by Childcare Centers and Food Life Regarding Vegetable Intake)

  • This study was conducted to determine parents' recognition of the Center for children's foodservice management (CCFSM) and to compare preschoolers' satisfaction for meals served by childcare centers and some aspects regarding the vegetable intake according to the parents' recognition of CCFSM. The subjects were 255 parents, whose children were 2~5 year old and attended a childcare center, were grouped according to the recognition of CCFSM (high recognition, HR, 27.5%; medium recognition, MR, 47.4%; low recognition, LR, 25.1%). Information was obtained by a self-administered questionnaire and data were analyzed by SPSS 25.0. Only 58.6% of HR and 10.7% of MR answered the they had participated education/event held by the CCFSM. More parents in the HR group (88.6%) acknowledged the helpfulness of CCFSM on the children's food habits compared to those in the MR group (63.6%) (P<0.001). Compared to the MR and LR groups, more parents in the HR group answered not only that they were 'satisfied'/'very satisfied' with the meals served by childcare centers (P<0.05), but also they tended to think that their children were also satisfied (P=0.061). Up to 31.2% of parents in the LR group answered that there was no need for education to increase the vegetable intake of their child compared to 14.3% and 17.4% in the HR and MR groups, respectively (P<0.05). Moreover, up to 26.6% of parents answered that school cook planned menus compared to 5.7% and 13.2% in the HR and MR group, respectively (P<0.001). In conclusion, the results provided the association between parents' high recognition of CCFSM and preschoolers' satisfaction for meals from childcare centers as well as a better chance for a desirable food life regarding vegetable intake.
