This article has an aim to study what kind of housing system our ancestors lived with during the Yi-Dynasty by analyzing the house-plan of upper-class society of that period since the house of lower-class was very insignificant as it has always been while the house of upper-class represented the period. With this study we can clearly see how we ought to go in the right direction toward the development of our Korean genuine housing by renovating and renewing those unreasonable points in our traditional housing system. It is firmly believed that we should-keep our own unique traditional lovely housing system for being destroyed by the whirl-wind of modernization and the demand of rationalism and efficiency-centered idea of the western mind. From this view point we think it is very urgent to see this matter correctly and find out the real way how we should do in order to keep our own good things for ourselves and make them preserved. This essay is divided into three parts as follows : 1. Thoughts on selecting the good housing area. 2. The aspect of housing reflected upon composing the house-plan. 3. The characteristic sentiments reflected upon the interior construction and decoration. We can find several characteristic points in the housing system of the Yi-Dynasty as follows : 1. In Korea, the thought of natural geography (Poongsu-seul), apart fro scientific view, which seems rather superstitious to us, modern young people, has been highly recommended by the people of our country from old days connected with the prosperity of our life. They also neglected about the social circumstances such as, market, transportation, and education, which are now considered as very important. They only put their concern on this natural environment which they called Poongsu. 2. In construction of house-plan, the house was not built for living with reasonable convenience, but for showing prestige of the upper-class people reflecting its social organization under the feudalism of the period. Furthermore, the most of the housework was done actually by those servants and maids of the house, and not the family themselves. The only concern for the upper-class people was to show off their authority, and so this sense of authority was revealed in the housing as well. 3. Both the outside appearance of the house and the interior decoration or the furniture are all very artistic and lovely. They were so refined and beautiful with their delicate taste which truly seem against our modern rationalism and uniformity.

대전광역시 유성구 덕진동 한국원자력연구소에 위치한 지하처분연구시설은 2003년 부지조사를 시작으로 최근에 완공하였다. 이 곳의 지질은 약한 변성작용을 받은 지역으로 소규모 단열이 잘 발달되어 있는 곳이다. 단열을 따라서 많은 종류의 이차충전광물들이 존재하지만, 그 중에서 광범위하게 분포하고 지하 핵종 이동에 상당한 영향을 끼치는 방해석의 광물학적 특징을 살펴보았다. 지하처분연구시설 암석 단열에 분포하는 방해석은 다른 이차광물들과 유사하게 단열대를 따라 분포하며, 부분적으로 두꺼운 층을 형성하기도 한다. 방해석으로 충전되어 있는 대부분의 단열대에는 석영, 철 산화물 및 돌로마이트 등이 소량 부성분 광물로 존재하고 있다. 방해석 결정은 일정한 방향성을 가지고 성장한 모습을 보여주고 있으며, 피복 물질로 산화철 광물인 침철석이 방해석 표면으로부터 성장하는데, 주로 방해석 결정의 가장자리 부근과 상부 표면의 용식된 부분에서 과밀하게 성장하고 있다. 터널 벽체의 숏크리트에서 녹아 나온 성분들이 침전되어 새로운 방해석 결정들이 형성되었는데, 지하수의 성분 및 흐름에 의해 형태 변화가 있었다. 단열충전광물 중 방해석은 지하수 화학특성을 변화시키고 핵종의 흡착 거동에 큰 영향을 끼치는 광물로, 본 연구에서 관찰된 방해석의 결정학적 구조 및 표면 특성은 추후 핵종 이동 실험시 중요한 기초 자료로 활용될 것이다.

This study attempted to investigate the plastic characteristics of cyber punk fashion with a focus on fashion in the cyber punk movies in order to inquire into how the influence of the cyber punk taking the lead in the spiritual culture and way of life of the humankind in the 21th century would be expressed in fashion. For this purpose, it sought to analyze the beauty of new fashion creating the cyber environment and identify its contemporary meaning. An attempt was made to investigate the image of cyber punk fashion with a focus on fashion expressed in the cyber punk movies. As a result, the following findings were obtained: First, the image of cyber punk fashion expressed in the cyber punk movies was simplicity, which was to express the modest silhouette and details exclusive of decoration. In addition to clean and smooth gloss, it contained the modest image of resistance', not 'revolt' by borrowing the partial motive and image from existing punk fashion. The change of cyber punk fashion into the characteristic of concise, smooth external appearance brought about the restraint of its image and symbolism as well as its plastic characteristic. Second, it was characterized by the Eroticism nature of emphasizing the body line while expressing the future and modest image or exposing the body. Cyber punk fashion expressed the avant-garde image by using materials that gave a mysterious and future feelings, as well as unsymmetrical silhouette, the slit of body-conscious line, coarse cutting, the method of do-constructing and reconstructing the silhouette, the method of applying diverse underwears such as corset, brassiere and the like. Third, cyber punk fashion was marked by the nature of mined sex. It had the masculine image by using the black color containing the image of masculinity and resistance in female clothing and expressing the suit, coat and military looks giving an masculine impression. And it expressed the image of mixed sexes with the masculine image in male clothing by borrowing feminine images such as body-conscious line, widely cut neckline, floral decoration, leggings and the like. Fourth, cyber punk fashion was marked by naturalness. It was expressed as clothing made from silhouette, knit, cotton and the like in the atmosphere expressing love, comfortableness and truth. This contained the image of naturalness, a return to the primitive, that human being wanted to return to their original figure in the future element. The cyber punk movie may contain a dismal, gloomy future image on the whole, which can be overcome, and shows the possibility that it may grow into the alternative culture, not the revolting culture. The movie of 'The Fifth Element' demonstrates the meaning and role that shows the bright future image. It is thought that designers should make efforts for cyber punk fashion to perform its role in changing the gloomy future image into the bright image of society

목적: Kabuki 증후군은 정신 지체를 동반하는 선천성 다발성 기형 증후군이다. 우리나라에서는 현재까지 6례의 Kabuki 증후군 증례가 산발적으로 보고 된 바 있다. 본 연구에서는 저자들이 경험한 Kabuki 증후군 환자 6명의 임상 및 유전학적 특징을 조사하고, 이를 외국 문헌들과 비교 분석해 보고자 하였다. 대상 및 방법: 2003년부터 2009년까지 아주대학교 병원 유전질환 전문센터에서 Kabuki 증후군으로 진단되어 추적 중인 6명의 한국인 여아를 대상으로 하였으며, 의무기록을 후향적으로 검토하여 이들의 임상 및 검사 소견을 수집하고 분석하였다. 결 과: 6명의 환자 모두가 특징적인 얼굴 모습 및 발달 지연 소견을 보이고 있었고, 손끝의 태아 패드 또한 모든 환자에서 확인되었다. 이외에도 대부분의 환자가 생후 성장 지연(83.3 %) 및 근력 저하(83.3%) 소견을 보였다. 안과적인 이상 또한 흔하게 동반되었는데, 특히 사시(83.3%)가 가장 흔한 안과적 이상 소견이었다. 선천성 심장 기형은 50%의 환자에서 동반되었으며, 골격계통의 증상으로는 짧거나(83.3%) 굽은(50%) 5번째 손가락, 관절의 과신전(50%) 및 고관절 탈구(16.7%) 등으로 다양하였다. Kabuki 증후군의 가족력을 가진 환자는 없었으며, 핵형 분석 및 array CGH를 포함한 세포유전학적 분석에서 Kabuki 증후군의 원인으로 생각되는 이상 소견은 발견되지 않았다. 결 론: 한국인 Kabuki 증후군 환자들이 보이는 임상 양상은 매우 광범위하며 다양한 신체 기관을 침범하고 있다. 비록 Kabuki 증후군의 임상적특징들이 비교적잘 알려져 있기는 하지만, 아직질환의 원인으로 추정되는 유전적 이상은 확실히밝혀지지 않았다. 적절한 질환의 관리및 유전상담이 이루어지기 위해서는 Kabuki 증후군의 자연 경과 및 유전적 배경에 대한 추가적인 연구가 필요하다고 생각된다.

본 증례는 유치열에 다수의 치아 우식증을 주소로 내원한 울프-허쉬호른 증후군 환자의 전신마취 하 치과치료에 대한 보고이다. WHS 환자의 특징적인 안모가 관찰되었으며, 발달지연, 정신 지체, 식이 장애 및 이로 인한 합병증 등을 보였다. WHS 환자는 다양한 전신 질환 및 선천성 기형 등을 동반할 수 있으므로, 치과 치료 시 전신적인 상태에 대한 평가가 필요하다. 또한 WHS 환자의 전신마취 시에는 기도 관리와 관련한 특별한 주의가 필요하며 치과 치료 후에도 주기적 관찰 및 지속적인 구강위생 관리 교육이 필요하다.

In contemporary art, soft materials are used in various forms and ways as a medium expressing contingency beyond a simple nature of materials. In the late 1960's, the appearance of soft sculpture as a refusal of the stereotyped 'Erection' characteristic of traditional sculpture served as an opportunity for more attention to soft materials. Fashion is the reflection of age, and the mirror of society, culture and arts. In other words, soft sculpture and fashion are artistic behaviors in the same context, which have neither been fixed nor erected. This study finds its significance in analyzing correlation between soft sculpture and fashion, and the importance of contingency as artistic expression means in this age when boundaries between genres are obscure, and artistic values are given to fashion. By doing so, it aims to present the direction toward which fashion should face in the future, establishing a new aesthetic consciousness with which more creative and various expressions are available in fashion as well. This study presented as its theoretical background the concept of soft sculpture affected by Marcel Duchamp among representative examples of the contingency that started to appear in art starting in the early 20th century. It also analyzed the soft sculpture appeared in 1960s and the expression methods and features of contingency appeared in fashion after late 1990s through a new approach of piling up, hanging up, and tying, three categories classified by Maurice $Fr{\acute{e}}churet$. Common features of the contingency expressed in soft sculpture and fashion were derived in the analysis, which are intensive effects of energy, values given to physical properties themselves, and esthetics of anti-form.

기저세포양 편평세포암(basaloid squamous carcinoma)은 상부 기도소화기계에 발생하는 드문, 악성도가 높은 암종으로 침습성 편평세포암(invasive squamous carcinoma)이나 상피내암(carcinoma in situ) 형태의 편평상피암종성분과 밀접하게 혼재되어 있는 기저세포앞종성분(basaloid component)으로 특징 지워질 수 있다. 이런 조직학적 특성에도 불구하고 식도의 선양 낭성암(adenoid cystic carcinoma)이나 선양 낭성 분화를 보이는 암종(carcinoma with adenoid cystic differentiation)과 혼동되어 왔으나, 순수 선양 낭성암은 악성도가 기저세포양 편평세포암보다 낮아감별 진단이 중요하다. 기저세포양편평세포암의 임상적 경과는 식도의 편평세포암과 유사하다. 본 병원에서는 60세 남자의 식도 중간 113 부위에 발생한 기저세포양 편굉세포암을 수술치험하였다.

Glandular odontogenic cyst (GOC) is a rare, potentially aggressive jaw lesion. The common radiographic features include a well-defined radiolucency with distinct borders, presenting a uni- or multilocular appearance. A cystic lesion in the posterior mandible of a 78-year-old female was incidentally found. Radiographs showed a unilocular lesion with a scalloped margin, external root resorption of the adjacent tooth, and cortical perforation. This lesion had changed from a small ovoid shape to a more expanded lesion in a period of four years. The small lesion showed unilocularity with a smooth margin and a well-defined border, but the expanded lesion produced cortical perforation and a lobulated margin. The provisional diagnosis was an ameloblastoma, whereas the histopathological examination revealed a GOC. This was a quite rare case, given that this radiographic change was observed in the posterior mandible of an elderly female. This case showed that a GOC can grow even in people in their seventies, changing from the unilocular form to an expanded, lobulated lesion. Here, we report a case of GOC with characteristic radiographic features.

Objectives: This was study about identifying fine seed herbs that are highly mixed together: Celosiae Semen, Celoisae Cristatae Semen, Cuscutae Semen, Perillae Semen. Methods: In non-distinctive herbs through sensory test, we can find accurate discriminative points by using a stereoscope. As a result, a new discriminative key was completed. Results: We identified a comparison of herbs which are mixed up in distribution. 1) In the case of Celosiae Semen and Celoisae Cristatae Semen, Celoisae Cristatae Semen which is mixed up is bigger and more glossy and especially have the sunk umbilicus. 2) In the case of Cuscutae Semen and Perillae Semen, Perillae Semen is discriminated by characteristic morado netting surface and impression of fruit stalk in the single-ended. 3) In the case of Cuscutae Semen which is distributed in three species, we discriminated by beak shape, location of umbilicus and vomiting thread shape or not when put in water. (1) Cuscuta chinensis has a weak beaky shape, an umbilicus in center and is vomiting thread shape when put in water. (2) C. australis has very weak beaky shape, an umbilicus beneath and is vomiting thread shape when put in water. (3) C. japonica has clear beaky shape, an umbilicus beneath and is not vomiting thread shape when put in water. Conclusions: A stereoscope can be effectively used for identifying fine seed herbs hardly distinguishable by sensory tests.

In this paper, we present a new approach to detect and recognize human face in the image from vision camera equipped on the mobile robot platform. Due to the mobility of camera platform, obtained facial image is small and pose-various. For this condition, new algorithm should cope with these constraints and can detect and recognize face in nearly real time. In detection step, ‘coarse to fine’ detection strategy is used. Firstly, region boundary including face is roughly located by dual ellipse templates of facial color and on this region, the locations of three main facial features- two eyes and mouth-are estimated. For this, simplified facial feature maps using characteristic chrominance are made out and candidate pixels are segmented as eye or mouth pixels group. These candidate facial features are verified whether the length and orientation of feature pairs are suitable for face geometry. In recognition step, pseudo-convex hull area of gray face image is defined which area includes feature triangle connecting two eyes and mouth. And random lattice line set are composed and laid on this convex hull area, and then 2D appearance of this area is represented. From these procedures, facial information of detected face is obtained and face DB images are similarly processed for each person class. Based on facial information of these areas, distance measure of match of lattice lines is calculated and face image is recognized using this measure as a classifier. This proposed detection and recognition algorithms overcome the constraints of previous approach [15], make real-time face detection and recognition possible, and guarantee the correct recognition irregardless of some pose variation of face. The usefulness at mobile robot application is demonstrated.
