This experiment were conducted to investigate heterosis and combining ability for several mutant characters by analyzing dialled crosses of flue-cured tobacco. In a dialled cross of 3 flue-cured varieties and the mutant line 83H -5, the heterosis was somewhat higher in Fl than in F2. For growth character, the heterosis was 0.28-6.03% in plant height, leaf number, leaf shape index and yield, and was 43.2% for bacterial wilt disease index. The mutant line 83H-5 showed significantly negative GCA effect for plant height, leaf width and bacterial wilt disease index in Fl and F2, leaf length in F2, and positive GCA effect for total alkaloids, total nitrogen in Fl and days to flower in F2, respectively. Specific combining ability(SCA) in 83H-5 x Hicks was significant in negative effect for leaf length(F2), number of leaves(F2), leaf shape(F1, F2), bacterial wilt(F2) and alkaloids(F1), and in 83H-5 x NC 2326 in positive effect for leaf length(F1, F2) and leaf width(F2), and for 83H-5 x NC 82 in positive effect for plant height(F1, F2) and leaf width(F2), and for 83H-5 x NC 82 in Positive effect for Plant height(F1, F2), leaf length(F2) and yield(F1, F2).

This research proposes a modified data hiding method to hide data in a slack space of an NTFS index record. The existing data hiding method is for anti-forensics, which uses traces of file names of an index entry in an index record when files are deleted in a direcotry. The proposed method in this paper modifies the existing method to make non-admittable ASCII characters for a file name applicable. By improving the existing method, problems of a file creation error due to non-admittable characters are remedied; including the non-admittable 9 characters (i. e. slash /, colon :, greater than >, less than <, question mark ?, back slash ${\backslash}$, vertical bar |, semi-colon ;, esterisk * ), reserved file names(i. e. CON, PRN, AUX, NUL, COM1~COM9, LPT1~LPT9) and two non-admittable characters for an ending character of the file name(i. e. space and dot). Two results of the two message with non-admittable ASCII characters by keyboard inputs show the applicability of the proposed method.

A suspected intergeneric hybrid cross between Pungtungia herzi and Pseudopungtungia nigra was collected at the Ungcheon River. Overall hybrid index did not show the hybrid connection clearly, but the most striking key character between two genus, pigmentation on the all fins except pectoral, the shape and position of the mouth part appeared to show the intermediary. So this specimen was thought to be an intergeneric natural hybrid which merits further study.

In this paper, we designed the aspheric lens by mathematical methods which are solved by refractive index. Based on these mathematical method, we manufactured the aspheric lens. Because of the usefulness of manufacturing, we used the acryl as the material. And we used a high speed machine to manufacture the aspheric lens. Also it sits in judgment the aberration of spherical distribution by using the grid fringe. Asource of laser produced by laser sheet generator passed the optical system of the aspheric lens. Though a character is to verify that the accuracy of the aspheric lens by experiment of the straight character.

The purposes of this study were to develop and apply teaching-learning plans using ARCS strategies to improve character of middle school students and analyze whether a home economics class helps to give positive effects on youth character change. Nine-period classes were conducted for 110 male students in 4 classes of M middle school in Gwangju metropolitan city for 5 weeks from March 6 through April 7 in 2017. The effectiveness of classes were examined with learners' class assessment and pre- and post- character index test. The research steps and results in this study are as follows. First, the teaching-learning plans for 9 periods were developed for the character education class of the chapter 'Understanding families'. These teaching and learning course plans were designed to enhance learner's interests in learning using ARCS motivational strategy and improve character of middle school students in consideration of character elements. In the chapter 'Understanding families' of Technology Home Economics in middle school, the teaching-learning plans for 9 periods, 14 student activity sheets, and 2 powerpoint materials for teaching and learning were developed. Second, students who had the character education classes using ARCS motivational strategy showed significant differences in all character elements. Therefore, the character education class using ARCS shows positive effects to build up character of middle school students. Third, the character education classes using ARCS motivational strategy increased the class satisfaction of learners. The character education class teaching and learning course plans and learning materials in Technology Home Economics using ARCS motivational strategy will be used as a basic resource to build up students' character in the future.

This study was conducted to estimate climax index by eco-morphology for major 36 tree and sub-tree species in natural deciduous forests so as to interpret seral position of each species in the forest community. Fourteen eco-morphological characters which were considered to be associated with successional gradient in the forest were selected for the study. Four levels per character for each species were given on a standardized scale of increasing climax, and the index was computed by the proportion of the sum of total scores, expressed by percent values. With calculated mean value of 54.8 for all indices, Carpinus cordata had the highest index value of 90.5, and Populus davidiana recorded the lowest of 13.2. The most climax group, greater than 70 of the index, contained only 8 species, intermediate group, between 41 to 70 of the index, had 23 species, and the most pioneer group, less than 40 of the index comprised 5 species. The result has noticed that the large number of species would take advantage of most diverse resource and niche in the intermediate stage of the sere in the forest. By cluster analysis all 36 species were subjected to be classified into several species groups which had common similar eco-morphological characteristics. The indices were additionally plotted on the two dimensional graph to recognize the positions related to the light absorption factor and reproduction factor. The climax index of tree and sub-tree species developed by this study could be applied to understand the present status of successional stage on the basis of species composition by the method of summing up the indices. And comparison of forest successional stage among various forest communities could be done by summing up the climax indices of composed species in each community. However, this kind of applied methodology should be limited to the forest of similar species composition and site condition.

Objective : This study was designed for find corelation between behavior and physical symptoms in child. Physical symptoms appearing related with weak viscera are selected. And behaviors related to selected symptoms are compared that of children with character type defined by jung, c. G. Method: 497 children ( 3-11 years old ) who have visited two oriental clinic ( one is in Gang-Nam Gu Seoul (282 children), the other is in Joong-Rang Gu Seoul (215 children) ) from Jan. to Jul. 2006 were invested through the questionnaires, which were filled by their parents. These questionnaires have 61 yes-no type questions about behaviors on 12 situations, 36 yes no type questions about physical symptoms in 15 categories. 6 questions expected positive answer in child with weak spleen are categorized sp-q and 6 related weak lung, lu-q, 6 related weak kidney, ki-q. Numbers of positive answers in sp-q, lu-q and ki-q are counted so-index, lu-index and ki-index each. Corelation between behavior questions and 3 symptom indexes are measured and questions shown low significance level ( under 5% in pearson corelation, two-tailed ) are selected. Result: 15 behaviors related sp-index, 12 related lu-index, 12 related ki-index are selected and analysed. Conclusion : 1. Behaviors related sp-index is similar to that of Thinking Type children Grouped by jung, c. G.. 2. Behaviors related lu-index is similar to that of Sensation Type. 3. Behaviors related sp-index is similar to that of Feeling Type.

This study aims at grasping the relativity between laborers' yangseng level and stress so as to present the groundwork for preventive oriental medicine approach in industrial health. The researcher prepared the questionnaire on general character, health-related yangseng level and chose 632 people to execute Autonomic balance test through heartbeat change. The collected material was analyzed by SPSS and tested by T-test, ANOVA. The general yangseng level average is 3.27, morality yangseng 3.91, sleep yangseng 3.39, mind yangseng 3.32, sex life yangseng 3.29, exercise yangseng 3.14, activities and rest yangseng 3.07, diet yangseng 2.95, seasonal yangseng 2.84. The highest is morality yangseng and seasonal yangseng is the lowest. In the aspect of yangseng level : Having a spouse, Non-smoking, Non-drinking, Regular exercising, Sufficient sleeping have higher yanseng levels. In Autonomic balance test, age from 35 to 40 has the highest autonomic activity and job period from 5 years to 10 years has the highest stress resistance. Non-smokers have high autonomic activity and stress resistance. Further, have low autonomic balance, stress index and fatigue strength. In the case of regular exercising person, he/she has high autonomic activity and stress resistance with low stress index. Regarding sleeping time, autonomic balance is the highest when he/she sleeps less than 6 hours. Stress resistance is the highest when he/she sleeps 7 hours and stress index is the highest when he/she sleeps 6 hours. After comparing the relativity between yangseng level autonomic balance test, only exercise yangseng has plus factor on autonomic activity and stress resistance and minus factor on stress ind ex and fatigue strength. Yangseng level has been affected by individual character and daily habits. Also stress is more influenced by daily habits than by individual character. We can find the relativity of exercise yangseng between yangseng and stress which suggests that we need to take measures to win over stress in individual health in the near future.

This study investigated the environmental indices in environmental administration, and to presents how to develop a sustainable environmental evaluation index. The index should be used to evaluate composite plans in the environmental aspects as well as means for setting goals of basic plans for the environment and its management. Specifically, the goals of composite plans are to check environments and land use frame, and evaluate individual measures (public projects). Environment policies are required to be 'a policy creating a clean environment' from 'a policy of environment regulation'. For the organization of a basic framework of environment policies, five topics are needed to be considered, such as the clarification of the idea of environment, establishment of environment regulations, environment management plan, plan to support civilian's action, and local government's efforts for the global matters of environment. For the amenity environments, people should expand their environmental behavior based on their voluntary intentions in transformation of personal life styles, projects with less load on the environment, development of environmentally-friendly projects with consideration for their impact on the earth. This study suggests that they should put more efforts into the development and implementation of useful environmental indices which effectively analyse the regional character to protect the natural ecology and create an sustainable environment with wide coverage.

Objectives : This paper studies the Tangaek-Unhoei(湯液韻彙) index of herbal medicine in the Inje-Ji(仁濟志) of the Imwon-Gyeongje-Ji(林園經濟志), which contains about 4,800 formulas. Created by 19th-century Joseon scholar Seo, Yugu, it not only lists the formulas according to their names, but also provides index by topic, which enabled the collection and effective application of massive medical information. Methods : We quantitatively examined the nearly 4,800 herbal medicines in the Tangaek-Unhoei and their categorization. Any uncommon or particular categorization was examined further by analyzing the original text. Results & Conclusions : The prescriptions contained in the Inje-Ji are categorized under 26 headings. They are listed according to the 106 units of the Chinese character dictionary and organized by double headings. This unique index makes it easy to browse the contents of such a vast book containing massive medicinal knowledge. In addition, the fifty or so remedies called 'Fang(方)' exemplify the author's attitude toward medicinal knowledge, which is both rational and inclusive. This is an attitude that should be recognized beyond tradition.
