한 시대의 삶과 문화를 담고 있는 도자공예는 우리 민족의 문화를 대표하는 문화재중의 하나로써 한국의 미와 문화의 특징을 보여준다. 역사적 관점에서도 도자공예보다 긴 전통을 소유한 문화재는 없으며, 쓰임새도 도자공예처럼 우리 주변에 널리 분포하는 기물(器物)은 없다. 그러나 현재 사용하고 있는 교과서의 대부분이 도자공예에 관해 감상 작품만을 예시하는 것에 그치기 때문에 구체적인 지도가 불가능하며 우리나라만이 가지고 있는 독특한 도예기법을 이해하기 어려운 실정이다. 현행 교과서 전통문화 수용방식의 특징은 전통문화가 교육내용의 중심 부분으로서가 아니라 주변 요소로 다루어지고 있고, 전통문화에 대한 깊이 있는 접근이 이루어지지 못하고 있으며 중등학교 과정에서 도자공예의 중요성을 이해 할 수 있는 기회는 거의 없다. 도자공예교육을 통해 학생들은 우리 고유의 문화를 이해하고 평면과 입체 표현을 통하여 조형미술을 경험할 수 있게 하여야 한다. 또한 학생들은 이런 다양한 이해와 경험을 자신의 삶 속에서 새롭게 표현해보고 생활에 적용함으로써 새로운 도예문화를 창조할 수 있도록 지도해야한다.

본 연구는 중국전통 전지공예와 현대도예의 융합을 시론적으로 다룬 것이다. 전지공예는 중국인이 오랫동안 일상에서 즐겨온 팝아트적 예술이며, 현대도자는 이로부터 창작의 소재와 모티브를 공급받아 작가의 창의성을 자극하며 도예의 새로운 길을 열고 있다. 순수한 평면예술인 전지공예는 도자기를 만나 3차원 공간으로 전이되어 새로운 예술언어로 번역되었으며 도자재료는 그 가소성과 수용성으로 말미암아 전지공예 내포하고 있는 음양허실의 조화는 물론 전지작품에 대한 새로운 해석까지 가능하게 하였다. 본 연구는 이와 같은 양자의 융합에 대한 경향성과 가능성을 보여주고 있다.

현대의 도자 조형은 순수 조형사고에 의해 보다 신선하고 개성적인 조형물의 개념으로 넓게 확장되어가고 있으며 다양한 요구에 의해 개성과 취향을 만족시킬 수 있는 디자인 개발이 이루어지고 있다. 이에 따라 본 연구에서는 우리의 생활전반에 정서적인 기여를 할 수 있는 조형물을 제시하고자 입체주의의 표현양상을 도입하는 과정에서 주어진 대상을 복수시점으로 감지하고도 2차원적인 평면에 표현한 입체주의 시대 회화의 한계를 넘어 입체감과 공간감의 표현을 위해 조형적 측면에서 접근하여 제작하였다. 따라서 연구자는 작품을 제작하기에 앞서 20C 미술계의 커다란 전환점이었던 입체주의의 표현 양상과 현대 도예의 영역확장에 대한 선이해가 중요하다고 판단되어 이에 대한 접근을 시도하였다. 위의 연구를 통하여 기존개념에서 탈피해 새로운 관점에서 접근해보니 창의적이며 실용성을 겸비한 개성적인 조형물로서 새로운 가능성이 엿보였다. 이는 생활 속의 예술로 도자 조형의 영역을 확대시켜 연구대상으로서 현대도예의 한 분야가 될 수 있으리라 생각된다.

현대도예는 다양한 표현장식기법으로 영역의 확장을 모색하고 있다. 다양한 표현장식기법 중 실루엣기법은 사물 형태표현의 대표적인 표현기법이다. 이는 형태의 외형을 강조하여 표현하고 내부의 형태는 생략하는 방법으로 간략함과 강렬함을 주며 미적 감수성과 상상력을 일깨우는 특성이 있다. 이에 본 연구자는 제작 작품 "도토리 이야기"를 주제로 설정하여 이야기의 핵심적인 이미지와 연관되는 소재들을 실루엣기법으로 디자인하고 이를 벡터그래픽을 활용하여 전사지 제작을 하였고 제작된 전사지는 전사기법으로 도자 접시에 표현하였다. 완성된 작품의 이미지는 보는 이로 하여금 다의적 해석을 유도한다. 따라서 도자 표현장식의 단순한 장식적 기능을 넘은 본 연구가 디지털 정보화 시대에 상상력과 미적 감수성을 일깨우는 도자디자인이 되기를 기대해 본다.

The most widely known form of multifunctional aircraft structure is smart structures for structural health monitoring (SHM). The aim is to provide automated systems whose purposes are to identify and to characterize possible damage within structures by using a network of actuators and sensors. Unfortunately, environmental and operational variability render many of the proposed damage detection methods difficult to successfully be applied. In this paper, an original robust damage detection approach using output-only vibration data is proposed. It is based on independent component analysis and matrix perturbation analysis, where an analytical threshold is proposed to get rid of statistical assumptions usually performed in damage detection approach. The effectiveness of the proposed SHM method is demonstrated numerically using finite element simulations and experimentally through a conformal load-bearing antenna structure and composite plates instrumented with piezoelectric ceramic materials.

문화는 공급하는자와 수요자와의 감정의 공유가 있어야 가능하다. 수요자가 그 코드를 제대로 읽어내지 못한다면 문화의 형성을 불가능하다. 이에 활발한 도자 문화의 보급은 교육의 힘으로 가능하다 할 수 있다. 우리의 도자 문화 역시 이러한 의미에서 교육의 중요성을 다시금 확인하고 재정비 필요하다. 시대적 지역적인 도자공예가 하나의 문화로 자리매김을 하기 위해서는 무엇보다도 교육 및 활성화 방안이 필요하다. 이에 교육방법이나 활성화 방안으로 공방운영에 교육의 중요성을 토대로 도자문화 활성화 방안에 따른 정책을 제시하고자 한다.

Purpose: Financial independence of the museum is an urgent issue in Korea. In this paper, methodology to combine arts and culture facilities with senior society is investigated based on case study of various senior programs in other countries. Methods: In this paper, case study of various senior programs from cultural and arts facilities in other countries are investigated in the aspect of public nature and independent management. Based on the analysis of the case study, optimal methodology is derived. Results: Based on case study of various senior program in other countries, it is clear that art and cultural facilities play important roles in participating elderly people to various social activities through developing programs specialized for elderly people. Conclusion: From analysis of the case study, senior program from arts and culture facilities provides more familiar contents rather than professional contents. Also, they consider more on communication and cooperation with local society to develop the senior program, which fulfill both public nature and financial independence.

To study the effect of color development of Ni-doped willemite blue pigments, five batches of compositions were prepared and fired at $1350^{\circ}C$/hold for 1 h. When Ni was substituted for ZnO by 0.03 mole the optimum result were obtained. Then they were fired at $1300^{\circ}C$ and held for 1, 2, 4 and 6 h respectively for the purpose sake. XRD, Raman spectroscopy, FT-IR, UV-vis were used to analyze the results of experiment. The substitution of 0.03mole Ni for Zn was most optimum and which produced good willemite at the temperature of $1300^{\circ}C$, holding for 6 h. In ceramic arts, cobalt has been used for blue coloring, in most cases, despite of its high cost. If the low cost Ni-doped willemite blue pigments supplies for them with stable and multiple shades of blue pigment, using NiO at high temperature, it would provide various blues for ceramic wares.

Genres of the modern arts are expanding the overlapping area between the arts ; ceramics and weaving considered as crafts are devel-oped to the ceramic art and the fiber art, re-spectively. This trend has been also applied to the clothing part, which produced several new terms such as‘art to wear’,‘unwearable art’,‘clothing sculpture’and so on. As following this tendency, the unwearable art is dwelling on the boundary of painting, fiber art and scul-pture, and the clothing sculpture comes from the combination of fiber art and sculpture. While Issey Miyake's dress made of bamboo and Foltuny's pleats dress associated with Greek stone-column introduce the sculpture to the functional fashion design, the works of clothing sculpture become the arts by applying the sculpture to the non-functional unwearable art. Although the clothing sculpture is an interesting subject to be studied continuously for its effect on the contemporary clothing part, it is valuable enough as an unwearable art and sculpture respresenting the artist's concept under the circumstance that the boundary between arts and design is no longer clear, i.e., the clothing and the sculpture come across their regions each other. Furthermore, the clothing sculpture has its own value as a metapor exposing idea, feeling and spirit of the artist in the genre of the unwearable art. With a view point of the abstract clothing concept, the clothing sculpture has been taking the role expanding the clothing to the world of fine art.
