This study aims to research the characteristics of space composition and location for the rural community center. The phenomenon of urban areas from rural areas by the dismantlement of the community is being increasingly deepened. The current village welfare center in the rural villages of the dismantlement phenomenon of the community in rural areas can not be solved alone. The location of the Community Center in rural villages for the interaction of existing local inhabitants and should be located where possible near existing villages. This thesis studies and analyzes the characteristics of rural villages in the rural new town project districts. The basic function of the community center space analysis model is the Public service space, the Communication space, the Health space, the Amenity space, the Education space(including the childcare). This study analyze the local characterristics, the location type and the floor plan characteristics about the Community Center in rural villages by the rural new town example project.

The purpose of this study is to analyze the community center users' the determinants of utilization & satisfaction for the exploit and to draw out the implication as to what are the influencing factors. The ordered logit model approach was used to examine the determinants. For the use of community center, we surveyed by mail subjecting on rural residents for one month, June 2012, analyzed 625 valid questionnaires. The findings are as follows. First, 'Facility-Satisfaction', 'Education', 'Exploit-Frequency' and 'Age' are the most important factors which affect users' satisfaction. Second, 'A meeting hall function', 'Cultural & Educational function', 'Social & Organizational function', and 'functional criticality function' influence the attributes of users' utilization. Therefore, it is needed to establish the various functions of community center and to prepare the vitalization plan in futuristic viewpoint reflecting the change of rural area. In addition, since there is no clear entity to supervise community center administratively, policy support system to community center should be equipped. Along with these, it is needed to develop managing and operation model for customized community center.

Recently, residents' community center is trying to combine with various program and facilities as the residents self-government program's development. This is due to the reduction of administrative tasks, the computerization of programs, the importance of community participation activities, the activation of community, and the increase of welfare projects. Therefore, previous studies on program complexity have been actively carried out. Nevertheless, spaces and programs studies of considering regional characteristics are lacking. Therefore, the community centers' program and spaces need to change. Therefore, this study propose an improvement direction through analyzing the situation of the residents' community center. For this study, the precedent research and institutional limitations are examined. In addition, this study selected and analyzed the 15 local community center. Thirdly, interviews were conducted with users and officials of the 5 residents' community centers on major changes. Finally, This study suggests direction of program improvement and architectural design direction. As a result of this study, integrated management measures with overlapping agencies should be sought. Surplus space will have to be rearranged into a new program through prior examination. Above all, the proposed remodeling guidelines require user requirements to be reflected and designed with the residents.

This study was performed to evaluate the appropriateness of resource allocation based on the ranking of health center function. Through the Delphi processes, health center functions were ranked in order of importance as follows; planning and research, followed by health education, health promotion, management of chronic diseases, health screening tests, welfare activities, mental health services, medical personnel management, medical services, prevention of communicable diseases, maternal and infant health services, housekeeping, management of oral hygiene, nutrition services, surveillance for community health services, family planning, and administration of the health center. In relation to the above priorities, the allocation of manpower was not appropriate. Even though the expert groups emphasized on functions such as planning and research, health education, and health promotion, they inputted more personnel for administration of a health center, maternal and infant health services, and medical services which were evaluated with lower importance. The budget allocation showed the same trends as the above. Although the functions such as planning and research, health education, and health promotion, and management of chronic diseases were evaluated highly, the budget was allocated accordingo to the the results of the former fiscal year rather than on the importance of function. However the budget for nutrition services, surveillance for the community health services, family planning, and administration of a health center was allocated according to priority. Based upon the above findings, community health center should be given the opportunity to make their own ranking of health center function and to allocate their resources including personnel and budget in order to improve the responsibilities and roles of the community health center.

This study was to define the possibilities for the community resource development. Focused on the community organization this study analized 3 cases of the community organization. Based on the theoretical concepts and the analized case studies this study concluded some scheme as follows : 1. For the effective community organization the Healthy Families Center has to give emphasis on the establishment of the concrete objects, the system of communication and decision-making. 2. The professionals of the Healthy Families Center have to possess the knowlegement of the organization management. And this point porposed the necessities for enlargement of family resource management.

This study is about the physical aspects and residents' perception for the public facilities in rural community through field investigation and interview. The purpose of this study is to present the planning of the public facilities in a rural community by field surveys and questionnaires. According to the results of the study, first, public facilities are necessary in a rural community to satisfy a variety of functions and the inhabitants' needs. Second, a community welfare center should consist of the facilities for inhabitants. Third, a community welfare center should establish sustainability, accessibility and identity to keep the main direction of planning.

Community facilities in apartment complex was developed through combination with residents' needs about housing environmental amenity, marketing competition among construction companies and social trend 'Well-being' . But community facilities and fitness center which are situated in the beginning are alienated by residents because the designers plan community facilities without considering about residents' life-style and preference. In this paper, the study includes present status of fitness center and residents' preference for proper fitness center design. The result presents that fitness center users in apartment complex want a resting space which is already located in fitness center of mixed-use residential building. A resting space provides conditions that users can make up with the community each other as well as they can rest after exercise. And the fitness center users prefer wood as interior finish material of floor and wall in exercising space and resting space because they have a feeling comfortable and splendid.

This study focuses on the determinants of the community health service utilization. Theories suggest seven models for community health service utilization, which are divided largely into two groups such as Health Service Supply Model and Health Service Demand Model: Supply Model includes Medical Implements Model, Personnel and Budget Model, Management System Model, Staffs' Behavior Model, Service Quality Model; Demand Model includes Area Model and Clients' Characteristics Model. This paper tests how the above models influence on the community health service utilization. After interviewing some administrative staffs of the Community Health Service Center at Pusan, questionnaires were made and mailed to the staffs of 198 Korean Community Health Service Center as a universe, among which from 98 centers we got response. Analyzing the data from the questionnaires, we found "the number of personnels in the health service center" and "demands for medical service" as important variables to affect the utilization of the community health service center. These two variables are typical factors representing Supply Model and Demand Model each. However, the variables selected from Management System Model, Administrative Behavior Model, Service Quality Model and Area model are not significant in a statistical sense. The paper suggests that to recruit the personnels, especially nurses, and to make out the demands of the clients for health service be the precedent conditions to increase the utilization of the Community Health Service Centers in Korea.ce Centers in Korea.

The recent change of social environment has influence on the configuration of space for the community social welfare center. And so the relation of space and the service function required the change of spatial configuration. The social welfare center fills the role of family welfare, domiciliary care, community service etc. In such sense, this research explore the conditions of spatial configuration for the community welfare service unit of social welfare center in small city. For this study, it was investigated the space role and service function, the service program, the usage characteristics, the room satisfaction of social workers. In sum, the useful data were collected, analyzed, and colligated by case study. It could be used in the basic design criteria of community service unit for the social welfare center in small city.

Recently the change of social environment has influence on the conditions of space for the community welfare center. And so the relation of space and function required the change. The important role of the social welfare center is family welfare, domiciliary and community care, community organization etc. In this sence, this study explore the condition of space planning for the community welfare center. For this study, it was reviewed the role and function, the service program, the usage characteristics. In sum, the useful data were collected, analyzed, and synthesized through case study and could be used in the guidelines as reference information for the future centers.
