  • In this paper, in order to reduce the electrical disaster such as electrical fire at traditional markets, we need to develop the circuit breaker which is able to monitor the power status of electrical equipments. Therefore, for solving the those problems, we developed the detection censor(ZCT, CT) and equipment of data analysis and transmission. The detection censor and equipment is able to monitor the electrical equipments condition(over current, leakage current, arc, etc.). We constructed Test-Bed for testing reliability of the circuit breaker and obtained certification. And we tested the over current, leakage current and arc under the normal condition. This paper will be used to the data for development an cabinet panel which is able to monitor the actual loads.

  • 본 논문에서는 일반 가정이나 건물 내에서 일종의 바이오센서인 개인건강 디바이스를 이용함에 있어, 각 디바이스들과 이들로부터 개인 생체정보를 수집하는 게이트웨이간 통신 시 환자의 개인정보를 보호할 수 있는 새로운 프라이버시 보호 방법을 제안한다. 제안하는 방법은 이전 [1]에서 제안한 프라이버시 보호 방법보다 추가적인 무결성 보장 및 전송 보안을 통해 훨씬 강건하고 안전하며 국제 표준인 ISO/IEEE 11073-20601[2]을 준수하고 있어 다양한 개인건강 디바이스들에 상호 호환이 가능하다는 장점이 있다.

  • This paper explains the study of controller design applied to SRM(Switched Reluctance Motor) concept. This controller executes controller algorithms via ${\mu}$-processor to increase stability and precise measurement, and VHDL (Very high speed integrated circuit Hardware Description Language) is designed to generate SRM driving signal. During initial period, SRM controller was designed to control .respective target RPM (Revolution per minutes) and PR (Proportional Integral Differential) coming from the PC(Personal Computer) monitor program, and receiving clockwise and counter-clockwise rotation signal and target RPM coming from the front panel, and receiving the location of rotational element and RPM generating from the position censor during activation period.

Understanding the User Preferences in the Types of Video Censorship

  • Video on demand (VOD) platforms provide immersive, inspiring, and commercial-free binge watching experiences. Recently, the number of these platform users increased dramatically as users can enjoy various contents without physical and time constraints during COVID-19. However, such platforms do not provide sufficient video censorship services while there is a strong need. In this study, we investigated the users' desire for video censorship when choosing and watching movies on VOD platforms, and how video censorship can be applied to different types of scenes to increase the censoring effect without diminishing the enjoyment. We first conducted an online survey with 98 respondents to identify the types of discomfort while watching sexual, violent, or drug-related scenes. We then conducted an in-depth online interview with 18 participants to identify the effective video filtering types and regions for each of the three scenes. Based on the findings, we suggest implications for designing a censor application for videos that contain uncomfortable scenes.

  • The research will be essential that the method for strengthening safety are safe installations in a hardware portion, a safe running ceremony of the vehicle employee (an engine driver) and the estimate of the situation which is accurate. In railway car the window wiper which is auxiliary equipment for safe operation is changed the existing manual control method with automatic correspondence precipitation used raindrops censor which can assure the vision of driving. It can be easy to safe driving as might have expected the object. We carried out studies technical review investigation which can accomplish the best suited wiping speed in maintaining an introduction existing system in the manual control system applied the existing train and corresponding to precipitation. The observation fact in the studies can be possible to ensure safety operation. That is, Manual operation method (of the driver) to add the automatic speed adjust function can operate improved window wiper drive system when it rains and, as was expected, it is able to ensure the range of a good railroad driver's vision and to concentrate in working at rainfall.

Effects of Fake News and Propaganda on Management of Information on Covid-19 Pandemic in Nigeria

  • This study measured the effects of fake news and propaganda on managing information on COVID-19 among the Nigerian citizenry. This study examined sources of information on COVID-19 available to the people, evaluated reasons behind spreading fake news, examined how fake news has affected the spread of COVID-19 pandemic in Nigeria, established the consequences of fake news on managing COVID-19 pandemic and as well identified ways to contain fake news at a time like this in Nigeria.It is a survey with a sample size of 375 participants selected using simple random technique. Instrument of data gathering was questionnaire widely distributed in the six geo-political zones of Nigeria using Survey monkey. Data was analysed using frequencies, counts and percentages, tables and charts. Findings revealed that people rely more on radio, television, and social media for information on COVID-19. Fake news is spread by people mostly for political reasons and intention to cause panic. In Nigeria, fake news has led to disbelief of the existence of the virus thereby leading to violation of precautionary measures among the citizenry and lack of trust in the government. Concerted effort on the part of the government is required to give public enlightenment on the danger of fake news. Also, directorate of anti-fake news should be established to censor and reprimand sources of fake news. People should always check source of information to confirm its credibility and be weary of sharing unconfirmed information especially on the social media.

도서관봉사요금에 관한 일고찰 (A study on the library reference service fees)

  • User fees have been employed by libraries as far back as the mid-1800s in both United States and England. By the late 1800s and early : 1900s, the charging of user fees for some library products and services had become a reality in many public and academic libraries. Yet the practice has created controversy when computer-aided reference service began to charge especially in the publicly funded libraries. There are two extream arguments on library reference service fees : one is for and the other is against. most fee o n.0, pponents base their stand on morality. They argue that charging fees for any service is wrong because it violates the user's right of access to information and regard it as an act of decrease human life chances as well as an act of censor. But those who favour fees argue that it is necessary to separate the rhetoric from the reality and to distinguish what libraries are from what they do. The study revealed that library has two options. One is strict free of charge and the other is charging for selected library services. Whatever options the library may take, library had to decide an overall reference service policy. The level and scope of service, audience, necessary fund (who and how) and many other physical and metaphysical things must be considered. However, the first option will necessary be to limit services while there is no loss of traditional philosophical service element. Yet, if to provide a wide range of choices and to create conditions more hospitable to competition from the private information sector and for better evolutional selection, the second option(fee-based service) gives more benefit to the users while there is a loss of fundamental service philosophy.

  • 사망과 같은 종말 사건은 중간 사건을 중도절단 시킬 수 있지만 재발과 같은 중간 사건은 종말 사건을 중도절단 시킬 수 없는 자료를 준경쟁위험 자료라고 하는데 의학 및 보건, 역학 분야에서는 이와 같은 자료를 자주 접하게 된다. 본 논문에서는 질병-사망 모형에 포함된 세 가지 전이 시간이 모두 구간중도절단된 준경쟁위험 자료를 분석하기 위해 정규 프레일티를 가진 와이블 회귀모형을 제안하였다. 각 개체는 중간 사건과 종말 사건의 발생 여부에 따라 다섯 가지 유형으로 구분되는데 유형별로 조건부 우도함수를 유도하였다. 조정중요표본추출법을 써서 주변 우도함수를 유도한 후 반복의사뉴톤 알고리즘을 써서 최적 추정량을 얻었다. 제안한 추정 방법의 소표본 성질을 살펴보기 위해 모의실험을 수행하였으며 또한 제안한 추정 방법을 Personnes Agées Quid (PAQUID) 자료에 적용하였다.

  • 석탄과 석유를 대신할 새로운 대체 에너지의 연구 및 개발은 지난 수년간 계속해서 연구되고 있다. 최근엔 유한 에너지 가격 상승으로 인하여 무공해 신재생 에너지의 관심이 증가하고 있다. 특히 기존에 활발히 연구되고 상용화된 신재생 에너지 분야 중 태양에너지는 태양광 에너지에 주된 연구가 이루어져 있다. 그러나 태양광 에너지의 효율성은 이미 포화상태에 도달하였다. 이에 본 논문에서는 태양광이 아닌 태양열 에너지를 활용할 수 있는 태양광 추적형 파라볼릭 집열장치를 제안한다. 제안하는 태양열 집열장치는 효과적으로 태양열을 집열하기 위하여 파라볼릭 형태로 제안하고, 계절 및 시기에 따른 태양의 위치변화를 감지할 수 있도록 5축 센서 방식의 태양광 추적형 트래킹 기술을 결합한 태양열 집열장치의 프로토타입을 제안한다. 또한 집열장치의 효율적인 관리를 위하여 관리자 인터페이스를 설계 및 구현한다.
