  • 본 논문에서는 ATM 고속위성 버스트 모뎀에 적합한 동기 요소기술과 개선방안을 사용하여 수신기를 설계하고 AWGN 채널 환경하에서 제반 연동평가를 수행하였다. 또한 프리앰블의 진행에 따라 각 동기부가 동작하는 과정을 평균과 분산특성을 이용하여 제시하고 수렴확률을 통해 복조기의 동작상태와 수렴여부를 판단하였다. 결론적으로 UW 검출기와의 연동을 통해 셀 손실율을 분석한 결과 본 논문에서 구현한 버스트 모드 TDMA 수신기는 보편적으로 요구되는 셀 손실율을 충분히 만족함을 알 수 있었다.

  • In grid-interconnection system, a fast, robust and precise phase angle detector is most important to grid synchronization and the active power control. The phase angle can be easily estimated by synchronous dq PLL system. On the other hand under unbalanced voltage condition, synchronous dq PLL system has problem that harmonics occur to phase angle or magnitude of grid voltage because of the effect of the negative sequence components. So, To eliminate the negative sequence components, the PLL method using APF (All Pass Filter) in a stationery reference frame to extract positive sequence components under unbalanced voltage condition is researched. In this paper, we propose a new PLL method with decoupling network using APF in a synchronous reference frame to extract the positive sequence components of the grid voltage under unbalanced grid. The cut-off frequency of APF in a synchronous reference frame can be set to twice of the fundamental frequency comparing with that of APF in a stationery reference frame which is the fundamental frequency. The proposed PLL strategy can detect the phase angle quickly and accurately under unbalanced gird voltages. Simulation and experimental results are presented to verify the proposed strategy under different kind of voltage dips.

  • MMC(Modular Multilevel Converter)는 여러 개의 Power Module을 직렬로 연결하여 정현파에 가까운 고전압의 파형을 얻을 수 있는 토폴로지로 대용량 전력변환 분야의 요구를 만족하면서 전력 품질을 향상시킬 수 있어 근래에 상당히 주목받고 있다. 당사에서는 5Mvar급 STATCOM(STATic synchronous COMpensator)을 MMC 형태로 제작하였다. 제작된 5Mvar급 STATCOM은 한 상당 12대의 Power Module로 구성하여 25-Level로 제작되었다. 제어시스템은 DSP(Digital Signal Processor)를 이용하였으며, 하나의 Main Controller와 다수의 Cell Controller, FPGA 보드 등으로 구성되어 있다. Controller 간의 상호 정보를 교환하기 위해 CAN 통신을 이용하였고, Power Module의 스위칭을 위한 보드는 각각에 연결되어 있으며, Cell Controller보드와는 절연을 위해 광신호로 연결하였다. 본 논문에서는 MMC 시스템의 제어기간 CAN 통신인터페이스와 Power Module의 PWM 동기화에 대해 설명을 하였다.

  • Fuel cell system needs DC-AC conversion inverter system because its output is DC. And the inverter system can be operated not only in stand-alone load but also in interactive mode in interactive mode, it is necessary to control active-reactive power of inverter and to synchronize inverter output voltage to power line voltage. In this paper, a 12 phase multiple VSI type GTO inverter system for fuel cell is described. Synchronization between power line voltage phase and inverter output voltage phase, and reduction of harmonics in the output voltage phase are the purpose of this inverter system. This control algorithm for the system is realized by the software method utilizing 8031AH 8bit Microprocessor.

  • 제 3세대 이동통신 IMT-2000의 상용화를 앞두고 세계의 관심이 고조되고 있는 가운데 미국의 cdma2000진영과 유럽, 일본의 WCDMA 진영에서 각각 다른 표준안을 가지고 세계시장 선점을 위한 치열한 경쟁을 벌이고 있다 특히 WCDMA 방식은 미국의 군사위성에 의해 셀(cell)간의 동기를 맞추는 cdma2000 방식에 비해 군사위성을 필요치 않고, 혼합화 코드(scrambling code)에 의해 셀을 식별하게 되므로 셀 식별에 있어 많은 시간을 소비하게 된다. 따라서 본 논문에서는WCDMA방식의 표준화 기구인 3GPP(3rd generation partnership project)에서 규정한 3단계 셀 탐색방법의 이차동기 패널구조의 개선을 통한 빠른 셀 탐색 방법을 제시한다.

  • Because ATM was originally designed for the optical fiber environment with bit error rate(BER) of 10-11, it is difficult to maintain ATM cell extraction capability in wireless environment where BER ranges from 10-6 to 10-3. Therefore, it must be proposed the algorithm of ATM cell extraction in wereless environment. In this paper, the frame structure and synchronization algorithm satisfyling the above condition are explained, and the new ASIC implementation method of this algorithm is proposed. The known method using shift register needs so many gates that it is not suitable for ASIC implementation. But in the proposed method, a considerable reduction in gate count can be achieved by using random access memory.

  • Satellite Air-defence Warning System receives the aircraft/ballistic track information and air defense control command obtained from Master Control & Reporting Center (MCRC) and Air Missile Defence Cell (AMD Cell) Systems. It consists of terminal and control system to propagate track information and air defense control command control via the military satellite communications. In this paper, there were described track information, air defense control command, the frame structure of modem to transmit a voice information and modulation/demodulator design, network synchronization methods via the satellite network.

한국 야생 등줄쥐의 고해상도 염색체분염상 (Chromosomal band pattern of black-striped field mouse (Apodemus agrarius))

  • We investigated the cytogenetic characteristics of male black-striped field mouse (Apodemus agrarium) in Korea. Chromosome slides were obtained from blood cell cultures which were synchronized with thymidine blocking or not. In the chromosome slide which synchronization with thymidine blocking was employed on, the GTG(G bands by trypsin using Giemsa)-bands of high resolution were observed. The male black-striped field mouse has 48 chromosomes composed 46 autosomes and XY sex chromosomes. The centromeric regions of autosomes were positive to GTG-banding. According to this investigation, thymidine blocking in cell culture process was useful to get lengthened chromosomes. It may be necessary to employ RBG-banding technique to investigate complementary band patterns between R- and G-banding in black-striped field mouse.

  • The architecture of the CDMA mobile system (CMS) is developed based on three function groups - service resource, service control, and service management groups. In this paper, the CMS architecture is discussed from the point of view of implementing these functions. The variable length packets are used for transmission. The synchronization clock signals are derived form the GPS receiver. The open loop and closed loop techniques are used for the power control. The internationally accepted signaling and network protocols are employed. The call control for the primary services in designed to provide efficient mobile telecommunication services. The softer handoff is implemented in one card. The mobile assisted handoff and the network assisted handoff are employed in the soft and hard handoffs. The authentication is based on the secret data which includes random numbers. The management functions, which include the location management, resource management, cell boundary management and OAM management, are implemented to warrant the system efficiency, maximum capacity and high reliability. The architecture ensures that the CMS is flexible and expandable to provide subscribers with economic and efficient system configuration. The dynamic power control, adaptive channel allocation. and dynamic cell boundary management are recommended for future work.

  • Cell cycle progression is regulated by both transcriptional and post-transcriptional mechanisms. MicroRNAs (miRNAs) emerge as a new class of small non-coding RNA regulators of cell cycle as recent evidence suggests. It is hypothesized that expression of specific miRNAs oscillates orderly along with cell cycle progression. However, the oscillated expression patterns of many candidate miRNAs have yet to be determined. Here, we describe miRNA expression profiling in double-thymidine synchronized HeLa cells as cell cycle progresses. Twenty-five differentially expressed miRNAs were classified into five groups based on their cell cycle-dependent expression patterns. The cyclic expression of six miRNAs (miR-221, let-7a, miR-21, miR-34a, miR-24, miR-376b) was validated by real-time quantitative RT-PCR (qRT-PCR). These results suggest that specific miRNAs, along with other key factors are required for maintaining and regulating proper cell cycle progression. The study deepens our understanding on cell cycle regulation.
