일본 한신 대지진 사례연구를 통한 도시방재 GIS에 관한 연구 (GIS based urban disaster management system in the City of Kohbe in Japan as a case study)

  • 본 연구는 재해를 줄이고 철저한 대비를 하기 위하여 재난에 관한 정보를 체계적으로 수집 및 분석하고 이를 활용 할 수 있는 재난 관리 정보시스템이 요구되고 있다. 이러한 관점에서 도시방재 GIS시스템 구축방안을 모색함에 있어서 보다 구체적이고 효율적인 연구결과를 도출하기 위하여 일본 한신 대지진 사례를 통한 일본 GIS을 활용한 방재시스템 구축효과 및 개선방안을 고찰하였다.

오령산(五苓散)으로 호전된 일차성 불면증 1례 임상 보고 (A Case Report of Primary Insomnia treated by Oryeong-san decoction)

  • Objective : This case report aims to demonstrate the effect of Oryeong-san on Insomnia. Methods : A 26 year old woman suffered from insomnia with mental and physical exhaustion, reduced stamina, lack of concentration in daytime. According to Diagnostic system based on Shanghanlun provisions, the patient was diagnosed with Taeyang-byung and treated by Oryeong-san decoction. The result of administration was evaluated by Insomnia Severity Index. Results : After administration of Oryeong-san decoction for 1 month, Insomnia Severity Index was decreased from 24(clinical insomnia, severe) to 1(no clinically significant insomnia). Conclusions : The patient completely recovered from insomnia and daytime symptoms as treated by Oryeong-san decoction according to Diagnostic system based on Shanghanlun provisions.

생강사심탕(生薑瀉心湯)으로 호전된 알레르기성 비염 2례 (Two Cases Report of Allergic Rhinitis Treated by Saengkangsasim-tang)

  • Objective : This case report evaluated the effect of Saengkangsasim-tang(生薑瀉心湯) on allergic rhinitis. Methods : Two different patients of allergic rhinitis were treated with Saengkangsasim-tang (生薑瀉心湯) in accordance with diagnostic system based on Shanghanlun(傷寒論) six meridian patterns and provisions. Results : After a series of Saengkangsasim-tang treatments, the symptoms of allergic rhinitis patients improved in 2 cases. Conclusions : According to diagnostic system based on Shanghanlun(傷寒論) six meridian patterns and provisions, this case study shows that Saengkangsasim-tang is effective on allergic rhinitis. However further clinical studies in depth are needed.

  • EMU, Electric Multiple Unit, is very complicated system that consists of thousand parts. If breakdown happens, work that clears cause in most cases work that clears cause in most cases is very complicated and difficult. Also it needs much times and experts of several parts. Maintenance is depending on know-how of the operator and breakdown that happen before happens often repeatedly because information management and public ownership are not achieved properly about analysis and action result. In this paper we present the case-based expert system for EMU which is able to share this know-how knowledge that data-based systemically with another operator.

The cluster-indexing collaborative filtering recommendation

  • Collaborative filtering (CF) recommendation is a knowledge sharing technology for distribution of opinions and facilitating contacts in network society between people with similar interests. The main concerns of the CF algorithm are about prediction accuracy, speed of response time, problem of data sparsity, and scalability. In general, the efforts of improving prediction algorithms and lessening response time are decoupled. We propose a three-step CF recommendation model which is composed of profiling, inferring, and predicting steps while considering prediction accuracy and computing speed simultaneously. This model combines a CF algorithm with two machine learning processes, SOM (Self-Organizing Map) and CBR (Case Based Reasoning) by changing an unsupervised clustering problem into a supervised user preference reasoning problem, which is a novel approach for the CF recommendation field. This paper demonstrates the utility of the CF recommendation based on SOM cluster-indexing CBR with validation against control algorithms through an open dataset of user preference.

  • Model-based decision support system (DSS) has acted as a crucial role in strengthening the business competitiveness by providing a way of modeling and solving real-world decision problems in a quantitative and scientific manner. It is even more important for trading OTC derivatives, which requires extensive financial-engineering expertise while actively reacting to the continuously changing financial market. This paper proposes a flexible model-based DSS architecture that can support user-friendly interface for executing and analyzing the models and can adapt to the changes of financial market seamlessly. For user-friendliness, we implement the user-interfaces (UIs) using Microsoft Excel, a very widely used spreadsheet program for its great generality and extensibility. Users can utilize the analysis results of DSS or reprocess them for their special needs through the UIs in the form of familiar spreadsheets easily. For adaptiveness to the markets, the proposed architecture is constructed based on the object-oriented concepts, which enables such changes as release of a new financial product can be updated into the system without any delay at the lowest cost. We investigate the practical benefits and limitations of the proposed architecture by a case study on the construction of Model-based Trading Support System (MTSS), performed by a commercial bank in Korea.

Integrated control of an air-breathing hypersonic vehicle considering the safety of propulsion system

  • This paper investigates the integrated control of an air-breathing hypersonic vehicle considering the safety of propulsion system under acceleration. First, the vehicle/engine coupling model that contains a control-oriented vehicle model and a quasi-one-dimensional dual-mode scramjet model is established. Next, the coupling process of the integrated control system is introduced in detail. Based on the coupling model, the integrated control framework is studied and an integrated control system including acceleration command generator, vehicle attitude control loop and engine multivariable control loop is discussed. Then, the effectiveness and superiority of the integrated control system are verified through the comparison of normal case and limiting case of an air-breathing hypersonic scramjet coupling model. Finally, the main results show that under normal acceleration case and limiting acceleration case, the integrated control system can track the altitude and speed of the vehicle extremely well and adjust the angle deflection of elevator to offset the thrust moment to maintain the attitude stability of the vehicle, while assigning the two-stage fuel equivalent ratio to meet the thrust performance and safety margin of the engine. Meanwhile, the high-acceleration requirement of the air-breathing hypersonic vehicle makes the propulsion system operating closer to the extreme dangerous conditions. The above contents demonstrate that considering the propulsion system safety will make integrated control system more real and meaningful.

유사 사례를 이용한 공압 요소 선정에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Selection of Pneumatic Components Using Similar Case)

  • It is one of the most important thing to select pneumatic components in pneumatic system design. For the purpose of selecting pneumatic components, case objects are described as a knowledge representation and the most similar case object must be selected by decision making in computer. In this paper, case objects are represented using the methodology that is used for CBR(Case Base Reasoning) and methodology that the most similar case can be selected is Proposed. Algorithm VIWNNR(Varying Index Weight-based Nearer Neighbor Retrieval) is accomplished by varying index weight, that is not considering a index matching as true or false but varying a size of weight according to the degree of matching and enhance the flexibility of SCRM(Similar Case Retrieval Module) involving fuzzy concept in matching the cases. SCRM is tested In verify the feasibility to select pneumatic linear components and is peformed effectively.

일본 UR도시기구의 안심주공간사업자참여제도를 통한 지역복지거점시설 정비사례 연구 (A Case Study on the Local-based Welfare Facilities of Urban Renaissance Agency in Japan by Business Entry System for Stable Living)

  • The purpose of this study is to analyze local-based social welfare facilities to respond to secular change of the UR rental housing estates in Japan. The selected case studies for the analysis are Hibarigaoka, Hamakousien, Turumai UR rental housing estates constructed around 1960's. The analysis was done through UR website, MLIT (Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism) and MHLW (Ministry of Health, Labour and Welfare) policy report, and related literature. These case studies are connected with housing policy as well as welfare policy and performed to Stable Living Creation Project by Business Entry System for Stable Living. The types of local-based social welfare facilities are classified by welfare corporation and medical corporation. The results are as follows: 1) The implementation of cooperative and participative system not only the private sector (welfare and medical Corporation, etc.) but also the public (MLIT, MHLW, UR Renaissance Agency, Local government, etc.). 2) Repurposed of land through rent and transfer of land for local-based social welfare facilities in the process of housing stock renewal utilization. 3) The pursue of regional revitalization through attached to multi-generation facility or local community space for elderly in local-based social welfare facilities.

한의진단 Ontology 구축을 위한 추론과 탐색에 관한 연구 (Study on Inference and Search for Development of Diagnostic Ontology in Oriental Medicine)

  • The goal of this study is to examine on reasoning and search for construction of diagnosis ontology as a knowledge base of diagnosis expert system in oriental medicine. Expert system is a field of artificial intelligence. It is a system to acquire information with diverse reasoning methods after putting expert's knowledge in computer systematically. A typical model of expert system consists of knowledge base and reasoning & explanatory structure offering conclusion with the knowledge. To apply ontology as knowledge base to expert system practically, consideration on reasoning and search should be together. Therefore, this study compared and examined reasoning, search with diagnosis process in oriental medicine. Reasoning is divided into Rule-based reasoning and Case-based reasoning. The former is divided into Forward chaining and Backward chaining. Because of characteristics of diagnosis, sometimes Forward chaining or backward chaining are required. Therefore, there are a lot of cases that Hybrid chaining is effective. Case-based reasoning is a method to settle a problem in the present by comparing with the past cases. Therefore, it is suitable to diagnosis fields with abundant cases. Search is sorted into Breadth-first search, Depth-first search and Best-first search, which have respectively merits and demerits. To construct diagnosis ontology to be applied to practical expert system, reasoning and search to reflect diagnosis process and characteristics should be considered.
