  • This study has tried the comparative analysis by classifying the underwear brand advertisement into direct sex appeal advertisement and metaphorical sex appeal advertisement. The effectiveness of advertisement expression has been studied by the comparative analysis for the advertisement attitude, the brand attitude, the purchasing intention based on the gender and the difference between design major and the others. As the study result, the conclusion, that the direct sex appeal advertisement on the characteristic of underwear brand has high effect on women, has been drawn. Also, it could be recognizable that men have high preference for the advertisement attitude, the brand attitude and the purchasing intention for the metaphorical sex appeal advertisement. Consequentially, the point that the effect on women can be maximized when the sex appeal expression is in harmony with the image of goods may be identified in case of the direct sex appeal advertisement in the underwear advertisement; it could be recognizable that men expressed their interests for metaphorical sex appeal expressions in underwear brand advertisements.

  • This study obtained the following consequences, as a result of the comparative analysis for the castability depending on an angle of the sprue and wax pattern in case of manufacturing dental prostheses, for the castability depending on direction, and for the castablility of sprue, which attached the reserve to each different 3.5mm roll wax(sprue wax) and to 2.5mm sprue wax. 1. As a result of the comparative analysis for the castability depending on an angle of the sprue and wax pattern, the best castability was shown when the angle of the sprue and wax pattern is 180$^{\circ}\Delta$(straight line), and the lowest castability was shown in 45$^{\circ}\Delta$, which was curved most, and there was no statistical significance. 2. As a result of the comparative analysis for the castability of an angle depending on direction, the best castability was shown in the farthest side from the direction of centrifugal casting, and the lowest castability was shown in the same side as the direction of centrifugal casting, and there was no statistical significance. 3. Given comparing the castability depending on the pattern of sprue, the better castability was shown in 135$^{\circ}\Delta$ and 180$^{\circ}\Delta$ when using 3.5mm roll wax(sprue wax), compared to attaching the reserve to 2.5mm sprue wax.

  • The choice of economic development over environmental protection has been used to explain the decline in the quality of the environment in developing countries. The authors reject this explanation and propose a theory of negligence to explain this decline. They point to the advantages of environmental impact assessments in dealing with the problem of negligence and presents case studies from four countries. Organizational models for Environmental Impact Assessments in Developing Countries are proposed as useful policy measures.

  • It was investigated on this paper that the status of biomass energy utilization in the registered CDM projects. The ratio of the case including the energy recovery among the registered biomass CDM projects is just about 57%. Direct thermal conversion technology is the most commonly applied for biomass energy recovery projects. Through the comparative study with world renewable energy outlook, the contribution of CDM to biomass energy supply in the world is not considerable yet.

  • The theoretical study of deformation behavior for continous extrusion process (CONFORM) is shown in this paper. The extrusion process is compared with a conventional route, side extrusion, considering extrusion ratios, flash gaps and coefficients of friction. In each case the distribution of strain and strain rate is predicted by using the finite element method. In this study simplifying assumptions on the deformation geometry are made to investigate the plastic flow occuring in the area of deformation of the Conform process.

  • The risk assessment model is an important subsystem for effective establishment and operation of EMS (environment management system). In case of poor risk assessment long-term and large-scale failure expense might be brought. Managing policy, target and other indices based on risk assessment can guarantee successful EMS. In this paper, we aim at comparative analysis of various risk methods and propose an alternative risk assessment model for EMS.

  • This work presents the three-dimensional analysis of flow and heat transfer performed for a wire-wrapped fuel assembly of liquid metal reactor using Reynolds-averaged Wavier-Stokes analysis in conjunction with 557 model as a turbulence closure. The whole fuel assembly has been analyzed for one period of the wire-spacer using periodic boundary conditions at inlet and outlet of the calculation domain. Three different assemblies, two 7-pin wire-spacer fuel assemblies and one bare rod bundle, apart from the pressure drop calculations for a 19-pin case, have been analyzed. Individual as well as a comparative analysis of the flow field and heat transfer have been discussed. Also, discussed is the position of hot spots observed in the wire-spacer fuel assembly. The flow field in the subchannels of a bare rod bundle and a wire-spacer fuel assembly is found to be different. A directional temperature gradient is found to exist in the subchannels of a wire-spacer fuel assembly Local Nusselt number in the subchannels of wire-spacer fuel assemblies is found to vary according to the wire-wrap position while in case of bare rod bundle, it's found to be constant.

  • Submetering electricity consumption data enables more detail input of end use components, such as lighting, plug, HVAC, and occupancy in building energy modeling. However, such an modeling efforts and results are rarely tried and published in terms of the estimation accuracy of electricity demand. In this research, actual submetering data obtained from a university building is analyzed and provided for building energy modeling practice. As alternative modeling cases, conventional modeling method (Case-1), using reference schedule per building usage, and main metering data based modeling method (Case-2) are established. Detail efforts are added to derive prototypical schedules from the metered data by introducing variability index. The simulation results revealed that Case-1 showed the largest error as we can expect. And Case-2 showed comparative error relative to Case-3 in terms of total electricity estimation. But Case-2 showed about two times larger error in CV (RMSE) in lighting energy demand due to lack of End Use consumption information.

  • In this study, the performance of the single heat source system and the hybrid system was comparatively analyzed. Case 1 is a ground heat source system, and Case 2 is a water heat source system. Case 3, a hybrid system, reduced the capacity of the ground heat source and applied a water heat source as an auxiliary heat source, and Case 4 was composed of a system that applied a water heat source as an auxiliary heat source to the ground heat source system. As a result of the simulation, in case 3, energy consumption was reduced by up to 2.67% compared to ground sources for cooling. In Case 4, COP was improved by up to 10.02% compared to ground sources during cooling, and EST was calculated to be 2.42℃ lower. During heating, 0.83% was improved compared to the water heat source. At this time, the EST was calculated to be 2.25℃ higher than the water heat source.
