간호사 경력자의 검시관 체험 연구 (A Study on the Experiences of Nurse Coroners)

  • Purpose: The purpose of this study was to describe the essential structure of the postmortem- examination experiences of nurse career coroners (forensic investigators), to have a profound understanding of their experiences, and ultimately to lay the foundation for nurses' entry into the field of forensic nursing. Methods: The subjects in this study were six coroners. After an in-depth interview from January to June 2007, the collected data were analyzed by Colaizzi as qualitative research. Results: Four categories emerged from seven theme clusters. The four categories were: attracted by being dubbed a stabilized public official, a sense of achievement due to having clarified false death, self-confidence after distinguishing the victim and the wrongdoer, eternal developmental potential is seen. Conclusion: It is expected that this study will provide useful information for nurses who are interested in becoming coroners. It will be helpful for career nurses to extend their nursing science into emerging fields like coroners and select a follow-up career.

일부지역 치위생과 학생의 진로관련 태도 및 취업의식 연구 (A Study on Career-Related Attitude and Awareness of Employment in Dental Hygiene Students from Some Regions)

  • Purpose : The purpose of this study was to examine the career-related awareness of dental hygiene students and their awareness of employment in an effort to shed light on the consciousness of dental hygiene students on career and employment. Methods : A survey was conducted on 340 selected dental hygiene students in several colleges of health located in an urban community, South Gyeongsang Province, from June 8 and 16, 2016. The collected data from 335 respondents were analyzed by SPSS 21.0 for Windows. Result : Where they hoped to find a job was analyzed, and they hoped to be hired in an large city due to the possibility of development and expectations for high pay, and the students who wanted to be employed in a small or mid-sized urban community cited personal connections as the reason(p<.001). As for conditions for getting a good job, the largest number of the students placed importance on skills, and the students who were in the higher academic years attached more importance to skills and money(p<.01). As for preferred workplace, dental hospital was the biggest group's favorite workplace, and the students who were in the higher academic years preferred to work in dental clinic or dental hospital(p<.05). Concerning the length of dental hygienist career, the greatest group thought it would be between 11 and 15 years(p<.05). Conclusion : The findings of the study might not be generalizable because students from a few colleges only were investigated, but the findings are expected to help improve the understanding of dental hygiene students on career and how to prepare for the job market and to provide colleges and educational institutions with information on career and ways of offering vocational guidance.

치기공과 학생의 임상실습 만족도가 진로결정수준에 미치는 영향 (The effect of Clinical Practice Satisfaction on Career Decision Levels among Dental Technology Students)

  • Purpose: This study aims to assess clinical practice satisfaction among dental technology students and to identify the factors that may influence their career decision levels. In doing so, the present study provides preliminary data as to ways to improve clinical practice satisfaction levels and career decision levels that would be optimal for one's competence. Methods: he survey was conducted on dental technology students. The collected data was analyzed by the statistical program SPSS 21.0. The results were analyzed by reliability, frequency, multiple-way ANOVA, correlation, multiple regression. To test for significance on each item, p<0.05 has been decided as a standard. Results: Analysis results indicate that the factors influencing clinical practice satisfaction of dental technology students include school year, satisfaction of major, area of clinical practice, and assigned department for clinical practice, while the factors that influence career decision levels include satisfaction of major and clinical practice satisfaction. Conclusion: Results of present study suggest that in order to improve clinical practice satisfaction among dental technology students and thereby career decision levels, one needs to focus on satisfaction of major and quality of clinical practice. Such efforts will enable a more active and effective approach toward clinical practice for the dental technology students, and with appropriate understanding and assessment of the experience, they will be better equipped to make a career decision where they can live up to their competence.

치위생(학)과 학생의 전공만족도, 치위생전문직관이 진로준비행동에 미치는 영향 (The effects of satisfaction with major, and dental hygiene professionalism on career preparation behavior of dental hygiene students)

  • Objectives: This study was attempted in order to understand about the satisfaction with major and the dental hygiene professionalism in dental hygiene students and to grasp the factors affecting the career preparation behavior. Methods: The research subjects included 264 juniors and seniors who are attending dental hygiene department across Korea (three locations in Gyeonggi province, one locations in Daejeon, four locations in Jeolla province, and one locations in Daegu). Data were collected using the online questionnaire between March 6 to April 7, 2023. The chosen data analysis method included descriptive statistical analysis, t-test, one-way ANOVA, Pearson's correlation coefficient, and stepwise multiple linear regression. Results: The following average scores were obtained from those surveyed: 3.25 points concerning career preparation behavior, 3.83 points concerning the respondent's satisfaction with their major, and 3.45 points concerning dental hygiene professionalism. As for a difference in career preparation behavior according to general characteristics, a meaningful difference was shown in terms of gender, motivation for entering the field, and first desired employment. Aspects of career preparation behavior, satisfaction with one's major, and dental hygiene professionalism showed a significant correlation and were confirmed to explain the prediction of 29.1% of the variation in the regression model. Conclusions: For the sake of having an integrated understanding about career preparation behavior among dental hygiene students, there is a need to conduct repeated research on diverse variables and to inquire into a causal relationships between such variables.

자연과학계열 대학생의 진로준비행동에 영향을 미치는 그릿(Grit), 진로결정자기효능감, 진로결과기대, 전공흥미 간의 관계 분석 (The Relationship among Career Preparation Behaviors, Grit, Career Decision-Making Self-Efficacy, Outcome Expectation, and Major Interest of Natural Science College Students)

  • 최근 우리나라는 미래국가성장동력을 마련하기 위해 과학인재양성에 힘쓰고 있다. 이에 교육부에서는 이공계 대학교육의 내실화를 위한 특별법을 마련하고, 산업연계 교육 활성화 선도대학(PRIME)과 같은 사업을 시행하여 교육적인 지원을 제공하고 있다. 그러나 이러한 지원에도 불구하고 이공계 내 다른 계열과 비교하여 현재 자연과학계열 인력은 수요와 공급이 불균형을 이루고 있는 실정이며, 더욱이 자연과학계열 대학생들은 전공 외 분야에 취업하는 경우가 많아, 이들을 위한 진로교육이 필요하다는 목소리가 제기되고 있다. 이에 본 연구에서는 한 개인의 진로발달과정에서 진로결정에 영향을 미치는 변인에 대한 포괄적인 이해가 가능한 사회인지진로모형(SSCT)을 바탕으로 자연과학계열 대학생들의 진로준비행동에 대한 그릿(Grit), 진로결정자기효능감, 진로결과기대, 전공흥미 변인의 예측력 및 이들 간의 경로관계를 실증적으로 규명하고자 하였다. 이를 위해 A대학 자연계열 학생 153명을 대상으로 자료를 수집하여 경로분석을 실시하였다. 연구 결과, 그릿에서 진로결정자기효능감, 진로결과기대, 전공흥미, 진로준비행동으로 가는 경로모형은 통계적으로 적합한 것으로 나타났다. 이를 바탕으로 자연과학계열 대학생들이 그들의 전공 분야와 관련한 진로준비행동을 촉진하기 위해서는 그릿, 진로결정자기효능감, 진로결과기대, 전공흥미를 통합적으로 고려한 체계적인 진로교육이 제공되어야 함을 제안하였다.

헤어디자이너 프로티언 경력지향성이 주관적 경력성공에 미치는 영향 : 직무몰입의 매개 효과 및 직무소진의 조절 효과 (The Effects of Hair Designer's Protean Career Orientation on Subjective Career Success : Mediating Effect of Job Commitment and Moderating Effect of Job Burnout )

  • 본 연구는 헤어디자이너 프로티언 경력지향성과 경력성공의 관계에서 직무몰입의 매개효과와 직무소진에 있어서의 조절효과를 확인하는데 목적이 있다. 이를 위해 국내 대표적인 A브랜드 헤어살롱에서 근무하고 있는 163명의 종사자를 대상으로 설문조사를 실시하였고, 자료는 통계패키지 SPSS 21.0과 매크로 프로그램인 SPSS PROCESS Macro의 부트스트래핑 방법을 활용하였다. 연구결과 첫째, 프로티언 경력지향은 자신의 직무와 관련된 모든 측면에 자신을 집중하는 직무몰입에 영향을 미치고 결과적으로 자신의 경력에 만족하는 경력성공에 영향을 미치는 매개효과를 확인하였고, 둘째, 프로티언 경력지향성과 직무소진의 상호작용을 통해서 직무몰입에 영향을 미치는 조절효과를 확인할 수 있었다. 이러한 헤어디자이너의 프로티언 경력지향성이 경력성공에 있어서 직무몰입의 매개 및 직무소진의 조절 역할에 대한 실증적 구명을 통해 본 연구는, 아직까지 미비한 헤어디자이너 프로티언 경력지향성 및 폭 넓게는 헤어살롱 조직문화에 대한 이해를 다루어 봄으로써, 서비스분야에서 상대적으로 이직률이 높은 헤어살롱 종사자의 경력성공 방안을 제안하는 데 의의가 있다.

전문대학 교수들의 학생진로지도 경험 연구: 근거이론을 중심으로 (A qualitative study of community college professors' experiences in career guidance: a grounded theory approach)

  • 본 연구는 전문대학 교수들이 전공과 학생들의 진로지도를 어떻게 경험하고 있는지 원인 및 현상, 맥락, 대처 등 관련한 주요한 구성요소를 발견하고, 패러다임 모형을 도출하여 그 경험을 구조적·심층적으로 이해하는 데 목적이 있다. 이를 위해 본 연구에서는 전문대학 전공과 교수 총 23명을 대상으로 포커스 그룹 인터뷰를 진행하였고, 이 결과를 근거이론 방법론(Srauss & Corbin, 1998)을 적용하여 분석하였다. 분석 결과, 17개의 범주와 31개의 하위범주가 도출되었다. 전문대학 교수의 학생진로지도에 있어서 중심현상은 크게 두 범주로 학생진로지도의 고충 경험과 학생들과의 상호작용에 대한 태도 변화였다. 중심현상 발생의 원인에 해당하는 인과적 조건으로는 교수의 진로지도 전문성 부족, 학생의 진로지도 범위 및 요구수준, 진로지도에 대한 학생들의 태도의 세 가지 범주가 있었다. 중심현상을 만들어내는 특수한 상황이나 조건에 해당하는 맥락적 조건으로는 학생진로지도의 필요성, 학생진로지도의 과도한 부담과 시간부족, 학교차원의 학생진로지도 관련 소통 부족, 학생진로지도의 시스템 네 가지가 있었다. 이 외에도 작용·상호작용, 중재적 조건, 결과 등을 밝혀냈다. 본 연구는 전문대학 교수들이 실제로 진로지도의 과정에서 어떠한 경험을 하고, 어떤 어려움을 겪으며, 어떤 대처를 통해 어떠한 결과에 이르는지의 과정을 확인하였다. 이를 바탕으로 향후 전문대학 교수의 학생진로지도가 어떠한 방향으로 나아가 하며 어떠한 도움이나 지원이 필요할 것인지 이해하는데 기여할 것으로 기대한다.

대학생의 삶의 만족에 영향을 주는 변수들 - 사회심리적 변수들과 의복 쇼핑자심감 - (Factors influencing life satisfaction among college students - Social psychological variables and shopping confidence for clothing and accessories -)

  • Recently, there has been an increase in wellbeing marketing, which focuses on increasing consumer life satisfaction or consumers' sense of subjective wellbeing. Numerous studies have been conducted to identify which aspects contribute to consumer life satisfaction. In order to provide additional insights into consumer life satisfaction, this study aimed to identify the relationships among social psychological variables (consciousness of social face, social interaction anxiety, and career anxiety), shopping confidence, and life satisfaction. Shopping confidence in this study relates to confidence for clothing/accessories. It was hypothesized that social psychological variables influence life satisfaction not only directly but also indirectly through shopping confidence. Data were gathered by surveying university students in Seoul, using convenience sampling. Two hundred eighty six questionnaires were used in the statistical analysis. Factor analysis of consciousness of social face revealed two factors, 'desire to gain face' and 'fear of losing face'. Factor analysis of social interaction anxiety, shopping confidence, and life satisfaction revealed that these variables were uni-dimensional. Test of the hypothesized path showed that all social psychological variables influenced life satisfaction indirectly through shopping confidence, whereas 'fear of losing face' of consciousness of social face and career anxiety influenced life satisfaction directly. The results give marketers some understanding of their consumers' life satisfaction in relation to consciousness of social face, social interaction anxiety, career anxiety, and shopping confidence.

농업계 고등학교 학생의 자기효능감, 사회적 지원, 지각된 유용성이 진로결정에 미치는 영향 (The Effects of Career Decision on Perceived Usability, Social Support, Self-efficacy at Agricultural High School Student)

  • The purpose of this study was to verify the influence between the variables affecting the Agricultural high school students in career decisions. The results of this study are as follow. First, self-efficacy(${\beta}=.14$, p=.000), perceived usefulness(${\beta}=.52$, p=.000) and social support(${\beta}=.31$, p=.000) were found to be significant according to career decision of agricultural high school student the result of analysis of multiple regression. all regression coefficients were positive. second, perceived usefulness(${\beta}=.52$) was found on the most influential of the three variables. Finally, when students perform studies related to agro-industry can be called self-efficacy are important factors. also The real working environment for the agro-industrial field placement, explore the world of work, ways of understanding reality based on what they learned at school such as university-industry linkage will also be established.

강원도 통합건강증진사업 방문간호사의 업무수행정도와 자신감 (Job Performance and Self Confidence by Visiting Nurses who are engaged in the Consolidated Health Promotion Program in Gangwon-Province)

  • Purpose: This study was designed to determine visiting nurses' job performance and self confidence by career and number of visiting households. Methods: The subjects were 120 visiting nurses fully in charge of the visiting health care program working in 18 community health care centers, who were checked for 5 domains of visiting nurses' job, 39 tasks of job performance and self confidence. ANOVA test, Scheffe test and Pearson correlation coefficient were used for data analysis. Results: The level of job performance and self confidence indicated highest in understanding of the visiting health care program among 5 domains of visiting nurses' job. The level of job performance and self confidence indicated lowest in community resource connection. When nurses were classified by a career with approximately 5 years of working experience, nurses with a career of more than 5 years were highly significant. Job performance and self confidence were positively correlated. Conclusion: Based on the result of this study, it is recommended that the education program for newly hired nurses should be differentiated from that for visiting nurses with a career in order to improve quality of the visiting nursing program and capacity of residents' health care.
