In this study, career counseling collegiate career maturity differences before and after program implementation through proven collegiate career counseling program development and future of the University Career guidance and on the basis of the direction is set. Verification results first college career counseling program has not been applied to the experimental group than in the control group were improved career attitude maturity level.

In this study, university students career decision efficacy through group counseling program to verify the effectiveness of group counseling program in the future career development of students and the university's career guidance aims to be the basis of the direction of the setting. The purpose of this study was to examine the impact of a employment career counseling program on university student' by analyzing whether it would bring any changes to the selected. The subjects in this study were 60 university student who were users of A university in the city of A. An experimental group and a control group were organized with 60 university student' each, and a employment career counseling program was conducted in eight sessions, once a biweekly. The major findings of the study were as follows: First, the university student' who participated in the employment career counseling program showed improvement in career maturity. Second, the university student' who participated in the employment career counseling program expressed better career self-efficacy. Third, the university student' who participated in the employment career counseling program felt less career barriers.

The purpose of this study is to examine the current status of the career guidance counselor system and to explore the challenges of the career guidance counselor system in the future. The results of the study are as follows: First, in the case of the career counseling teacher system, ① The qualifications for career counseling teachers are through regular education and training according to the law. ② After acquiring the qualifications for career advancement counseling, receiving an appointment to become a subject teacher for 'career advancement counseling' is subject to another selection criteria. ③ At least one career counseling teacher must be assigned to each school. ④ The common job of secondary career counseling teachers suggested by the Seoul Metropolitan Office of Education consists of 15 items, focusing on the task of overseeing school career education as the head of the career counseling department. are presenting ⑤ The Ministry of Education is using a career guidance model as a guideline for career guidance to be referenced when providing career guidance in secondary schools. Second, the task of the career counseling teacher system is to examine the theoretical basis of the career guidance model presented in the ① Career Guidance Guidelines. ② It is necessary to transform former teachers into career teachers. ③ It is necessary to expand the number of career guidance counselors currently assigned to middle and high schools. ④ It is necessary to expand subject-integrated career education.

The purpose of this study was to analyze the textbooks of career counseling which are written or translated in Korean so as to understand the usefulness and limitation on the usage of career counseling textbooks. Research questions are as follows: 1) what contents are included in textbooks of career counseling? 2) what are the differences of content rates among textbooks of career counseling? 10 textbooks of career counseling were analysed(6 textbooks: introduction to career counseling, 4 textbooks: focused on career counseling skills and techniques) based on the competency components for career counseling professionals presented by Yoo(2009). Results indicated that 1) 6 textbooks of introduction to career counseling have the most content of 'category1: theories and concepts related to career counseling'. In comparison, 4 textbooks focused on career counseling skills and techniques have the most content of 'category4: career counseling competency'. 2) Based on the unit of analysis chapter, the highest rates are 'category4: career counseling competency(33.33%)' and 'category1: theories and concepts related to career counseling(28.15%)'. 3) It is hard to find the contents related to the knowledge and skills of individual and group counseling(category 2), the competencies of network, problem solving, peer counselor feedback, administration, ethic(category 8,9,10,11,13), the growth and self-management as professionals(category 12,14).

Purpose: This study was to examine the effect of career group counseling program using cinema for the improving self identity and career decision-making self-efficacy of adolescents on probation. Methods: The subject were 36 (Experimental. 20, Control. 16) adolescents on probation who were referred to N mental health center in G city South Korea, but 2 of the experimental group did not complete the program. The program consisted of 8 sessions and was conducted from November, 2008 to February, 2009. The study variables were 'self identity' and 'career decision-making self-efficacy' surveyed by self-reported questionnaires. Results: Self identity (t=-2.797, p=.005), and career decision-making self-efficacy (t=-3.354, p=.001) changed more significantly in the experimental group than in control group after career group counseling program using cinema. Conclusion: Based on these results, career group counseling program using cinema for adolescents on probation was especially effective in increasing self identity and career decision-making self-efficacy.

The purpose of this study is to develop a group counseling program for career exploration and to explore its effects on college students' self-efficacy. Main program activities consisted of 8-week sessions. Equivalent control group pretest-posttest design was employed for this study. 40 college students voluntarily participated in a group counseling of career exploration. Another 40 students were selected for a control group of this study design. The self-efficacy (23 items) was administered to both the experimental and the control groups before and after the 8-week treatments. The results of this research showed that the differences (program effects) of the experimental group in the scale were higher than those of the control group. In conclusion, a group counseling program for the career exploration had significant effects on the career exploration and self-efficacy of college students.

The purpose of this study was to develop a Career Group Counseling Program to increase the career maturity, career-identity and career-decision self-efficacy of high school students, and to examine the effectiveness of such a program. In order to evaluate the effectiveness of the program thus developed, an experimental group which was exposed to the program and a control group without exposure to the program were compared. The program was administered over eight weekly sessions, each session lasting ninety minutes. The subjects in this study consisted of twenty four students. The experimental group and a control group were organized with twelve students in each. For the purpose of data processing, SPSS 16.0 was used to analyze the statistical results. The Career Maturity Scale, the Identity Scale, and Career Decision-Making Self-Efficacy Scale were used in a pre-test, post-test, and follow-up test. The findings of this study were as follows : The treatment group exhibited a significant statistically increasing degree of career maturity, career-identity and career-decision self-efficacy levels in comparison to the control group. The results of the study indicated the effectiveness of this newly developed Career Group Counseling Program on increasing career maturity, career-identity and career-decision self-efficacy levels.

The author recommends the creation of a nationwide career guidance program at the national level through the establishment of a long-term cohort, involving collaboration among medical schools nationwide. This cohort would be constructed for the purpose of analyzing correlations from admission to medical school to post-graduate education, facilitating the development of a career guidance program. This will aid in career development through students' self-analysis and competency building. Each medical school should operate a systematic career guidance program. Career guidance for post-graduate major selection should be included in the regular curriculum. Schools are advised to operate student counseling rooms for various career guidance services. For example, medical schools can operate 1:1 career counseling, academic counseling, career guidance surveys, psychological tests, and counseling. It is advisable to establish a mentor-professor system, connect mentor professors, and build a network of experts related to majors to provide immediate support according to students' needs. Professional mentor training should be provided to mentor professors. To provide opportunities for students to experience their career paths in advance, early clinical exposure, long-term integrated clinical practice, community-based clinical practice, participation in student research programs, career fairs, and student internship programs are recommended. In South Korea, it is necessary to systematically operate the internship system and make improvements to facilitate optical career choices. Additionally, considering the significant influence of social factors on students' career choices in South Korea, efforts should be made to identify and address the issues related to these social factors.

In this study, the career barriers exploration counseling program was carried out to research the factor on the career barriers of women's college students. And then the effect of the career barriers exploration counseling program on career preparation behavior of the women's students was analyzed. The program that referred to the career counseling program proposed in domestic and career material suggested in Korean Women's Development Institute and Korea Research Institute for Vocational Education & Training was adopted in this investigation. Moreover referred to the previous research and reference related to career counseling that had conducted the related factor on career barriers and career preparation behavior. First of all, the program was reconstructed by referring to the Gottfredson(1981)'s career development theory. In order to verify the effect of the program on career preparation behavior of women's college students, two times tests were carried out on 10 persons of the experimental group and the control group respectively, before and after the program was performed. And then the ANCOVA was done on the difference between the post-test results of the experimental group and the control group. Findings of this study might be summarized as follows: First, the post-test result in the experimental group on career barriers was significantly lower than in the control group. Second, on career preparation behavior the result in the experimental group was higher than in the control group. Therefore, the career barriers exploration counseling program had a significant influence on career barriers of women's college students and the program impacted on career preparation behavior of women's college students significantly.
