As our society is changed to the information & digital society based on the internet, the requirement that the analog certificate of Korean residence is changed to digital one is increased. The Korean Government selected the smart card of 72 KB for the digital certificate of Korean residence and try to insert the personnel information of 41 items to it. The method that the numerous personnel information is stored in one smart card is convenience to use. If the certificate of residence is lost, the number of personnel information is misused or spreaded thorough the Internet by the hacking. In this paper, we analyze the problem about the digital certificate of Korean residence and propose the countermeasure about the problem. In the proposal, the digital certificate of residence have only the certificate. Therefore, the size of the smart card is minimized and can be canceled at the loss of the certificate of residence. And the exposure worry of personnel information will be decreased.

In this paper, we research a virtual card generation system to secure e-commerce. Network security has increased the need to meet rapidly growing trend. And the amount and quality of e-commerce expansion due to the need for secure commerce transactions has increased even more. Instead of exposing the actual credit card number, we expose a virtual card number on the network. It can prevent the risk of hacking. We proved that through various experiments.

Generally, the digital circuit card can be tested by automatic test equipment using LASAR(Logic Automated Stimulus and Response). This paper proposes the ROM data extracting algorithm which can test the digital circuit card that consists usually ROMs. We are implemented of the proposed fault detecting program by LabWindow/CVI 8.5 and the digital automatic test instrument with NI-VXI(National Instrument - Versa Bus Modular Europe eXtentions for Instrumentation) card. We also make an interface circuit board connecting the digital test instrument and the digital circuit card. It shows the good performance of getting the data from ROMs.

Tips of probe card were fabricated using MEMS technology. P-type silicon wafer with $SiO_2$ layer was used as a substrate for fabricating the probe card. Ni-Cr and Au used as seed layer for electroplating Ni were deposited on the silicon wafer. Line patterns for probing devices were formed on silicon wafer by electroplating Ni through mold which formed by MEMS technology. Bridge structure was formed by wet-etching the silicon substrate. AZ-1512 photoresist was used for protection layer of back side and DNB-H100PL-40 photoresist was used for patterning of the front side. The mold with the thickness of $60{\mu}m$ was also formed using THB-120N photoresist and probe tip with thickness of $50{\mu}m$ was fabricated by electroplating process.

The metropolitan area needs to control the Automatic Fare Collection (AFC) and transportation card system in order to implement an efficient railway and subway. This paper introduces a suitable analysis to take advantage of the systematic method of the AFC and transportation card. These systems should consider the fare system, transportation pass and AFC equipment, which are organized with the Automatic Ticket Vending Machine, the Ticket Office Machine and the Card System of Radio Frequency (RF). However, the organization includes the fact the Automatic Ticket Vending Machine has a problem with the proceeding speed of passengers and inconvenience. Second, the majority of passengers have not utilized the Ticket Office Machine. Also, it should consider whether the transportation card is the proper system in the metropolitan area. Based on the analysis of national and international cases, it suggests that the AFC should make more improvements in the metropolitan area railway and subway.

Recently introduced by the major credit card associations as replacements for the decommissioned SET and 3DSET protocols, the new payment models, 3DSecure and UCAF/SPA, have been designed to provide online merchants with a solution to an existing problem in online credit card transactions - the lack of an effective and efficient means of authenticating cardholders. The expected benefits arising from this added level of security from the merchant′s perspective are increased consumer confidence, significant reduction in the levels of fraud and charge backs and "liability shift". Using data gleaned from preliminary interviews, discussion forums and promotional material, we present a critical analysis of the potential barriers and facilitators that will impact on the widespread traction of these programs in the marketplace in the coming years.

최근 인터넷 전자상거래 시스템상에서 전송되는 개인 정보들을 안전하게 관리하기 위한 방법으로서 휴대가 가능한 스마트카드 시스템이 주목을 받고 있다. 현재 다양한 COS 를 탑재한 스마트카드 시스템들이 존재하고 있으나 강력한 보안 기능 및 다중 응용프로그램 환경을 제공하는 MULTOS 기반 시스템과 JVM 기반 JavaCard 시스템으로 서서히 양분되어 가고 있는 추세이다. 본 논문에서는 JavaCard 시스템을 대상으로 하는 Java Toolkit의 설계 및 구현에 대하여 설명한다. 개발된 Toolkit은 PKI 및 암호 처리 기술을 바탕으로 스마트카드, 사용자 시스템 및 서비스 제공자 시스템간의 정보교환을 위한 Java API를 제공함으로써 안전한 인터넷 전자상거래 응용 및 다양한 정보보호 시스템 개발을 위한 기반을 제공한다.

The policy for credit card approval/disapproval is based on the applier's personal and financial information. In this paper, we will analyze 2 credit card approval data with several classification methods. We identify which variables are important factors to decide the approval of credit card. Our main tool is an open-source statistical programming environment R which is freely available from http://www.r-project.org. It is getting popular recently because of its flexibility and a lot of packages (libraries) made by R-users in the world. We will use most widely used methods, LDNQDA, Logistic Regression, CART (Classification and Regression Trees), neural network, and SVM (Support Vector Machines) for comparisons.

In this study, the control system of sodium hydroxide was demonstrated to systemize hydrolysis process in polyester dyeing. We mainly focused on the application method of acid-alkali titration for the polyester hydrolysis machine of liquor-flow type. Industrial pH meter with electrode type was used for identifying equivalence point. Three units which were analogue-to-digital card, microprocessor and digital output card were used to control NaOH concentration in the control part of the system. The yielded data are translated to the microprocessor through analogue-digital interfacing card. After calculating, NaOH concentration in NaOH storage tank was controlled through the digital output card and solenoid valves.
