Soft masks mean that part or all of the program code for operating system or applications are located in the EEPROM or flash ROM. Since Soft masks allow errors to be corrected and programs to be modified quickly and at minimal cost, they are used primarily during testing and in the field trials. This paper introduces a hardware architecture of IC card for soft masks. We suggest a new down loading scheme for soft-mask ROM connected by an I/O interface. This scheme saves the new IC card development cost and time.

In this paper, we propose a method of decision on blurring for business card images using block classification. In the proposed method, an input image is partitioned into 8${\times}$8 blocks and each block is classified into character block or background block using a block energy calculated in DCT domain. Whether the input image is blurring or non-blurring is determined using a ratio of low frequency energy and high frequency energy in DCT domain. Experimental results show that the proposed block classification classifies block well and the proposed decision on blurring decides well for various business card images.

This paper described the implementation of high speed transmission fort medical image between hospitals using ISDN. The implemented system, called PC-card, can transmit datas as 144Kbps and can install in the personal computer. So, this enables to get more reliable medical image with less cost, and to service the better quality for an unurbanized area. Many I/o cards such as AOCs, DICs, DOCs and ROCs are used to deal with I&C instruments of control panel in full-scope power plant simulator. To help the maintenance of I/O cards, an I/o card fault diagnosis system is implemented in this paper. The implemented fault diagnosis system has the automatic fault diagnosis function and manual card test function for fault diagnosis. Finally, the test result using I/O cards shows the validity of the implemented fault diagnosis system.

이 논문에서는 자바 카드를 위한 통합 테스트 및 디버깅 환경에 대해 기술하고 있으며, 제안한 통합 개발 환경은 J-JCRE (Java language based Java Card Runtime Environment) 와 Java Card API (Application Programming Interface)로 구성되어 있다. 또한, 개발 환경은 현재 두 가지 암호 알고리즘을 지원해주며, 스크립트 실행, 시스템 클래스의 소스 레벨 디버깅, 클라이언트/서버 skeleton 자동 생성 등 다양한 기능을 제공해 준다. 제안한 통합 개발 환경을 이용함으로써 사용자들은 실제 자바 카드에 응용 프로그램을 탑재하기 전에 응용 프로그램 테스트 및 디버깅을 통해 프로그램상의 오류 밀 에러를 미리 점검하여 수정할 수 있게 된다.

전자무역거래는 궁극적으로 무역계약체결천의 마케팅과 인콰이어리는 물론 무역계약과 계약 이후의 운송, 보험, 결제 등을 네트워크를 통해 실현하고자 한다. 그러나 무역거래의 전 단계의 전자화 추진에 있어 가장 큰 걸림돌은 국제대금결제시스템을 전자화하는 것이며, 이러한 문제점의 해결은 궁극적으로 전자무역거래의 완성이라고 해도 과언이 아닐 정도로 전자무역 구현에 있어서 시급하고도 중요한 핵심과제가 되고 있다. 이에 본 고에서는 전자무역시대를 맞이하여, 전자무역거래에서 전자결제시스템으로 주목받고 있는 BOLERO, TradeCard, 그리고 BeXcom의 주요 내용과 특징을 살펴보고, 상호간 비교 분석을 통하여 전자결제시스템의 발전적 과제를 제시하고자 한다.
