웹 기반 차량동역학 시뮬레이션을 위한 메타버스 서비스 플랫폼 구축에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Creating Metaverse Service Platform for Web-based Vehicle Dynamics Simulation)

  • Recently the car tuning has become a trailblazing and creative culture that expresses the personality of the owner. In this paper, the "Car-Vatar", which is the compound word formed from the words "Car" and "Avatar", has been developed to investigate car tuning on the metaverse engineering platform. The Car-Vatar has been developed as a web-based vehicle dynamic simulation service for providing information about car tuning. That has been focused on investigating diverse vehicular performances, such as acceleration, braking, handling and fuel efficiency, according to the tuning vehicles and tuning parts on the virtual engineering platform. The Car-Vatar platform has provided two major services; one is real-time 3D tuning information system for the dress-up and performance-up tuning parts, the other is diverse vehicle dynamics system for the performance-up tuning parts. To check the validation of the Car-Vatar platform, the comparison between virtual simulation results and driving test results has been discussed on various driving environments.

  • 자동차 수의 증가와 함께 자동차 화재 또한 꾸준한 증가 추세에 있다. 본 연구에서는 자동차 화재의 여러 요인들 중 자동차 출고 이후에 사용자에 의하여 변형된 부분, 즉 자동차 튜닝으로 인하여 화재가 발생할 가능성을 입증하고자 하였다. 실험 결과 전조등의 밝기를 향상시키기 위한 교체, 멀티시거잭 배선의 허용전류를 초과하여 전기장치를 사용하는 경우, 전선의 손상, 그리고 시중에서 튜닝용으로 구입하여 사용하는 전기배선의 취약성 등이 화재 가능성에 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다.

운행 가솔린자동차 엔진성능에 미치는 튜닝 흡기 및 배기 시스템의 효과에 관한 연구 (A Study on Effects of Tuning Intake and Exhaust Systems upon Engine Performance in a Driving Gasoline Car)

  • 본 연구의 목적은 운행자동차에 있어서 안전운행과 환경에 문제가 없는 효과적인 엔진튜닝의 작업가능성을 확인하고, 튜닝엔진의 특징을 파악하여 엔진튜닝 검사의 기초자료를 분석하는 것이다. 비튜닝 및 튜닝 엔진 2-1, 2-2, 2-3의 4종류에 대한 넓은 범위의 엔진회전수 하에서 4행정, 4기통 DOHC, 터보 인터쿨러, 수냉 가솔린엔진의 실제 운행자동차를 사용하여 공연비 및 성능 특성에 미치는 튜닝엔진의 효과를 실험적으로 조사했다. 운행 가솔린자동차에 대한 엔진의 튜닝 부분은 흡기 다기관, 흡기 파이프, 공기필터, 배기 다기관, 배기 파이프 및 소음기를 포함한다. 1인이 탑승한 5단 자동변속기를 갖는 운행 가솔린자동차 비튜닝 및 튜닝 엔진의 공연비 및 토크는 차대 동력계(Dynojet 224xLC)에 의하여 실험에 의해 측정하였다. 운행 가솔린자동차 튜닝엔진의 최대 토크는 비튜닝엔진보다 평균 103.68% 만큼 증가되었고, 튜닝엔진의 최대 출력은 비튜닝엔진보다도 평균 119.68% 만큼 증가되었음을 알았다.

운행자동차 성능 및 배기 배출물에 미치는 흡기 다기관, 흡기 파이프 및 공기필터의 튜닝효과에 관한 연구 (A Study on Tuning Effects of Intake Manifold, Intake Pipe and Air Filter upon Performance and Exhaust Emissions of Driving Car)

  • The purpose of this study is to identify the possibility of effective tuning works, understand the characteristics of tuning engine, and analyse the basic data of engine tuning inspection corresponding to the safe operation and environment of a driving gasoline car. The effects of tuning on the characteristics of performance and exhaust emissions under a wide range of engine speeds are experimentally investigated by the actual driving car with a four-cycle, four-cylinder DOHC, turbo-intercooler, water-cooled gasoline engine operating at four types of non-tuning, tuning 1, 2 and 3. The tuning parts in the gasoline engine are the intake manifold, intake pipe and air filter. In the experiment, the output, torque and air-fuel ratio of the five-speed automatic transmission vehicles were measured at the chassis dynamometer(Dynojet 224xLC) with one person on board. The exhaust emissions of $NO_X$, THC, CO, $O_2$ and $CO_2$, and excess air ratio(${\lambda}$) at the other chassis dynamometer(DASAN-MD-ASM-97-KR-HD) were also measured by the idle/constant-speed mode(ASM2525 mode) test method. It is found that the actual air-fuel ratios of non-tuning and tuning engines were shown to be lower than the stoichiometric air-fuel ratio with increasing engine speed, and the actual air-fuel ratio of non-tuning engine was slightly higher than those of tuning engines when the engine speed is more than 4000 rpm. The output was significantly increased by the tuning whereby the maximum output of tuning engine was more increased to approximately 117.64% than that of non-tuning engine. In addition, CO, THC and $NO_X$ emissions of non-tuning and tuning engines measured by the constant-speed test mode were all satisfied with the inspection standards. CO emission was increased, while THC and $NO_X$ emissions were reduced by tuning.

자동차용 오디오의 실내음질 평가인자에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Assessment Factors for Car Audio Sound Quaility)

  • It is getting higher the demand on a good sound in a car. Like some other sensory qualities, achieving a good sound is still treated as a black-box followed by the individual taste of tuning engineers. This study aims to define the attributes of a good car audio sound and the assessment factors affecting the sound quality. With a variety of surveys on professional listening groups and car audio installers, 26 most frequently used vocabularies are selected as typical presentations of car audio sound quality. After repetitions of listening tests with deliberately selected test CD, pre-recorded 15 different digital car-recordings, headphones replay system, and three different listening groups, it is proved that there are at least 5 different assessment factors which significantly affect the car audio sound quality. They are high fidelity, spectral balance, tonal accuracy, sound stage and acoustic fault.

  • Our goal of study is to develop an automatic carkeeping book using ZigBee Protocol. Car owner gets information of car by PDA or Mobile phone through ZigBee wireless communication network, Running distance, tuning information of car, refueling information and repair information are automatically downloaded from Gas-Station or Tuning-shop. Finally, carkeeping book is automatically recorded without typing.

  • This paper aimed at analyzing the psychology of the people who tunes the car from the point of view of the theory of unconscious desire. The theory of unconscious desire to approach human psychology has two features. One point is that it can be applied only to human beings in the sense that animals does not have the unconscious. The other is that we can categorize some types of underlying unconscious desire instead of seeing human desire as the sundry desires according to the specific target. In this paper, we looked at the characteristics of each type of data obtained through interviews for people to tune the car from the point of view of the theory of unconscious desire.

  • 이 논문은 자동차 흡배기 장치, 발전기 튜닝 및 배기 측 인화성 물질 유입에 관련된 화재에 대한 사례를 분석하고 연구하는 것이다. 첫 번째 사례는, 흡기와 배기 장치의 튜닝한 상태에서 자동차의 시동을 켜 놓고 정차된 상태에서 가연성 스티로폼이 자동차 하체로 유입되고, 배기 열에 의해 불이 붙었고, 이 열원에 누설된 연료가 화재를 확대시킨 것으로 확인되었다. 두 번째 사례는 실내의 오디오 시스템을 튜닝하고 필요한 전기의 양을 증대하기 위해 발전기 용량을 높임으로써 발전기와 연결된 배선이 과열되어 화재가 발생된 것으로 확인되었다. 세 번째 사례의 원인은 정비사가 오일을 교환한 다음 플라스틱 용기로 된 깔때기를 엔진 내부에 둔 것이 엔진의 배기열에 의해 화재가 발생된 것으로 확인되었다. 따라서, 엔진의 흡배기 시스템과 발전기 시스템을 개조하지 않도록 하여야 하며, 자동차를 수리할 때나 점검할 때 배기측에 이물질이 유입되어 화재가 발생하지 않도록 자동차의 관리에 세심한 주의를 하여야 한다.

A Method for Improving Accuracy of Image Matching Algorithm for Car Navigation System

  • Recently, various in-vehicle networks have been developed respectively in order to accomplish their own purposes such as CAN and MOST. Especially, the MOST network is usually adapted to provide entertainment service. The car navigation system is also widely used for guiding driving paths to driver. The position for the navigation system is usually acquired by GPS technology. However, the GPS technique has two serious problems. The first is unavailability in urban canyons. The second is inherent positional error rate. The problems have been studied in many literatures. However, the second still leads to incorrect locational information in some area, especially parallel roads. This paper proposes a performance tuning method of image matching algorithm for the car navigation system. The method utilizes images obtained from in-vehicle MOST network and a real-time image matching algorithm which determines the direction of moving vehicle in parallel section of road. In order to accuracy improvement of image matching algorithm, three conditions are applied. The experimental tests show that the proposed system increases the accuracy.

  • The existing fixed telematics facilities for car were restricting of efficiency, utilization, communication, possibility, so it become disconnected with reality in the domestic and foreign market within thy near future, like as the case of 'car-phone'. It is too difficult to make a various business model on the restrict basis. To solve these problems, We suggested Tablet PC system as a new mobile telematics platform. The telematics platform based on the Tablet PC realize the perfect office, because it shows an excellent portability, high power and extension, various input equipment, and environment of communication in the car. To realize this concreteness, it needs a proper marketing strategy for a new business model. For this purpose, We analyzed the structure of industry, selected a proper target market, and established the strategy of marketing. Additionally, We proposed new business models ; particularly Portal site, Car-Home network, Car Software Tuning, and T-Vaccine(Intelligent Car Inspection System). These are made possible by the only Tablet PC platform.
