Association rule mining searches for interesting relationships among Items in a given database. Association rules are frequently used by retail stores to assist in marketing, advertising, floor placement, and inventory control. There are three primary quality measures for association rule support and confidence and lift. In this paper we present association rule mining based antecedent variables. We call these rules to antecedent association rules. An antecedent variable is a variable that occurs before the independent variable and the dependent variable. For example, in politics, a special interest group may want to support a politician who backs their cause. The group would look for a candidate who supports their views and support his election. Once in office, the politician would then conduct policy that supports the interest group.

현재 VoIP(Voice over IP) 기술의 발전을 주도하고 있는 SIP(Session Initiation Protocol)은 IETF에서 표준화된 프로토콜로서 인터넷 컨퍼런스와 인터넷 텔레포니 등 멀티미디어 응용을 위한 기술이다. 이 프로토콜은 텍스트 기반의 시그널링을 통하여 넓은 확장성과 다양한 응용성을 제공하면서 기존의 H.323 을 대체하는 기술로서 주목을 받게 되었다. 그러나 사실상 현재의 인터넷 기술을 이용하여 기존의 음성 전화서비스와 동일한 품질의 서비스를 제공하기에는 아직도 해결해야 할 기술들이 많은 실정이다. 특히, 서비스 품질(Quality of Service)을 보장하는 문제는 VoIP 기술의 성장을 위해서 필수적이다. 이에 본 논문은 QoS 제공 망에서 SIP UA 가 QoS 가 제공되는 콜(call)을 설정하기 위하여 확장되어져야 하는 모듈 및 메소드와 변화되는 시그널링 절차등에 대하여 설명하고, 이를 실제 VoIP 응용에 적용하기 위한 설계 및 구현 작업에 대하여 기술한다.

Due to various advantages over the conventional linear motion device such as ball-screw, linear motors have been used in wide variety of industrial applications for years. Driven by increased demand for precision machine tools, the importance of high positioning accuracy, high stiffness and high thrust are greatly increasing. The merits of linear motor are high speed, high acceleration and good positioning accurcy. In addition, Linear motor for high quality machine tool call for high thrust, high stiffness. In this paper, thrust ripple, detent force and thermal behavior are considered for the development of high performance linear motor whose thrust is up to 4,000N. This paper presents a comprehensive study for an iron core type linear motor characteristics that include the influence of PM position on thrust, thrust ripple by detent force and motor dynamics as well.

In the Is-95 soft handoff scheme of CDMA, there occurs a tradeoff between improving quality due to the space diversity and additional resource management like updates of the active set during soft handoffs. In addition, if a mobile terminal is alternating two adjacent cells, a well-known phenomenon called ping-ping causes the resource management to be seriously degraded. By noting that in general the probability that a user initiates additional handoffs is exponentially decreased as the user has already handed over one or more times, we present a soft handoff algorithm making use of handoff profiles of mobile terminals to improve resource utilization. In the proposed algorithm the number of handoffs made so far during the call is recorded in the mobile profile and the profile data is used for adjusting handoff parameters such as the value of add or drop threshold (T_ADD or T_DROP). Through simulations, the result of the proposed algorithm is shown to improve the handoff performance by lowering the number of handoffs while simultaneously reducing resource waste.

Many researchers have proved that risk measurement of information systems is a very effective tool for improving confidence of information systems. However, information system risk in Korea still includes many subjective judgements. This study deals with applying a quantitative model to improve risk measurement of information system quality. First of all, we have come up with solutions to improve the evaluation efficiency on risk measurement. We have merged the risk guidelines of COBIT and CMM, and developed a quantified evaluation scheme that call by risk point. We have proved the validity of this model by interviews with experts and by case studies.

본 연구에서는 SNS 매체 평가를 위해 적용 가능한 품질의 측정요인들을 문헌고찰하고, 평가방법론으로 AHP 기법을 적용하여 SNS 매체를 평가할 수 있는 방안을 제시하고자 하였다. 선행연구에 의거하여 SNS 품질요인을 시스템품질, 정보품질, 인터페이스품질, 서비스품질 등으로 분류하였고, AHP 기법을 적용하여 품질요인별 중요도를 실증 분석하였다. 측정결과로서 서비스품질이 상대적으로 가장 주요한 요인으로 도출되었으며, 정보품질, 시스템품질, 인터페이스품질 등의 순으로 중요도가 높은 것으로 나타났다.

Bandwidth is an extremely valuable and scarce resource in a wireless network. Therefore, efficient bandwidth management is necessary in order to provide high quality service to users with different requirements. In this paper, we propose a bandwidth reservation algorithm based on Nash Bargaining Solution. The proposed algorithm has low complexity and are quite flexible in the different situations of network. Simulation results indicate that the proposed scheme has excellent performance than other existing schemes.

The mobile communication network has to offer good quality of services (QoS), high capacity, and more coverage at a lower cost. However, with the increase of cellular user, the shortage of capacity due to unbalanced call distribution and lack of QoS are common. This paper deals with dynamic sectorization for efficient resource management to solve load unbalancing among microcells in CDMA (Code Division Multiple Access) microcellular system. Dynamic load balancing can be effected by grouping micro-cells properly and grouping can be developed through a routing mechanism. Therefore, we use ants and their routes to choose the optimum grouping of micro-cells into sectors using Multiple Ant Colony System (MACS)in this paper.

The plenty of successful cases of Multi-national companies has been realized benefits of offshore outsourcing in particular "cost savings" from offshore IT outsourcing services, such as call center, software development, IT support and maintenance etc. A few Korean companies recently started to make the feasibility study of offshore IT outsourcing to catch up with the global trend. The objective of this study is to present the feasibility of offshore IT outsourcing of Korean companies through the analysis of pilot projects results between Indian and Chinese companies. The analysis include key elementsof cost, productivity, quality, practical issues as well as Gartner's framework, "AD Sourcing Cost Model", composed of 7 model factors. The findings of this study are not limited to understand offshore IT outsourcing but also provide useful guidelines covering wide range from the theoretical framework of selecting suitable offshore partner.
