천변저류지 공간계획의 적합성 평가지표 선정 (Determination of the Suitability Evaluation Indices of a Riverside-Reservoir Space Planning)

  • The goal of this paper is to determine the suitability evaluation indices of a riverside reservoir space planning by classifying major indicators and calculating AHP(Analytical Hierarchy Process) based weights of them. The major indicators were set up based on literature review and questionnaire survey to experts. Four indicator categories were developed: location, environment, resource availability and economical efficiency. And they were divided into 12 sub-categories for calculating AHP-based weights. First, as for the major indicator categories, the calculation shows that the weighted index of environment is the most important at 0.458, followed by location at 0.128, economical efficiency at 0.170 and resource availability at 0.154. This suggests that environment is getting more public attention and the reservoir is regarded as a facility that is connected to a river. Those weight values were considered in calculating final weights for each of 12 sub-categories. Among them water quality and ecological environment take top ranks at 0.190 and 0.186, respectively. The lower ranks include access 0.112, resource availability of site 0.082, tourism resource 0.078, users 0.076, available land 0.052, area of site 0.031, shape of site and deterioration level 0.030 and percentage of private land 0.030 - which represents general considerations in other space planning. The difference of the top rank (water quality, 0.190) and the last one (percentage of private land, 0.027) is 0.163. The above result shows that users regard environmental aspect and resource availability more important than easiness of construction.

  • 본 연구에서는 Space Syntax와 통행시간을 이용하여 접근성 산출 방법론을 개발하였다. Space Syntax는 네트워크의 연결성이나 접근성을 정량적으로 쉽게 구할 수 있는 장점이 있다. 하지만 교통에서 중요한 요소인 통행시간이나 거리의 개념이 포함되어 있지 않다. 또한 환승위치에 따라 값이 달라지는 단점이 있다. 따라서 본 논문에서는 이를 해결하기 위해 내적(Inner Product) 개념을 도입하여 Space Syntax와 대중교통노선의 단위를 일치시켜 링크 단위로 변화하였으며, 통행시간의 변수를 추가하였다. 이 방법론을 적용하여 서울시 강남구를 대상으로 서울시버스 개편효과를 분석하였다. 접근성 산출 결과 서울시 버스개편은 기존 시스템에 비해 효과가 있는 것으로 분석되었다.

  • As the new large buildings are continuously being built with the advanced technology and skills, an adequate size of electric room needs to be obtained so that engineers establish an efficient and reliable system in the electric room. Considering the current capacity, its expansion and its connecting system, the final size of it should be determined in order to bring an effective use of the building. Usually the extension of electricity capacity is on the increase after construction and it comes from the lack of scientific evaluation on the electric room. Later when the expansion of computer and important electric equipment that needs much capacity is impossible, it will cause a great deal of damage to the renting business of the building as well as becomes the unstable factors of the whole system. Therefore, it is important to have the exact method of calculating the effective size of electric room, the heart of the building, especially when the value of land price is very high. In addition, it should be calculated in an accurate way due to the diversification of the system and the compact size of the electricity equipment. However, the research on this area and the comparison and evaluation of the size after construction have not been made enough and the results of them have not been applied when calculating a new size of electric room. Accordingly, this study examines three methods prescribed in the standards of electricity installation technology through case analysis and suggests substantial data by system, capacity, and purpose.

민감도 분석을 적용한 제주 연안 풍력단지 설계의 경제성 분석 (Economic analysis of jeju offshore pilot run wind farm by sensitivity analysis)

  • In this paper, the offshore wind farms have been designed by using WindPRO with the help of real wind data measurements at Jeju Costal area by calculating the annual energy production for exact economic evaluation. In order to achieve benefit of wind farm, the annual revenue for power generation have been calculated with SMP and REC value. And construction cost has derived from the real wind farm project case. Also O&M cost has been estimated by OMCE (Operating & Maintenance Cost Estimator) to get accurate cost of wind farm. Economic evaluation of wind farms have been performed by comparing above parameters. In addition, sensitivity analysis calculating the effect of these factors has also been carried out.

  • For maintaining railroad, accumulated passing tonnage is a determinant factor of appropriate rail replacement time. Recently, Seoul Metro's rail maintaining system and technology is being improved from previous years, which increasing a standard of rail replacement. Thus, this brings importance of estimating and managing for accumulated passing tonnage. In case of light weighted train such as subway, current method of calculating accumulated passing tonnage has defaults of misrepresenting accumulated passing tonnage data. Because current method is based on the weight of passengers and train., and operation data. In addition, currently there is no mechanical and electronic system that could represent and support the accurate data between heavy and non-heavy traffic area, and accumulated passing tonnage is calculated inaccurately by estimating average value each line. The current method of calculating accumulated passing tonnage misleads to unpredictable data that represent inappropriate rail replacement period, which leads to under or over analyzed replacement period. If accumulated passing tonnage is over estimated, rail replacement leads to waste of budget. Hence, it is necessary to construct reliable actual measurement system to manage rail's life safely and efficiently, and in this study the accumulated passing tonnage measurement device is installed with using rail pad of optical fiber sensors and its effect is analyzed.

지리정보시스템을 이용한 유역에서의 지형지수 산정 (Calculation of Watershed Topographic Index with Geographic Information System)

  • 포화도의 공간적 변화인 지형지수를 계산하기 위한 다중흐름을 알고리즘이 지형정보시스템인 GRASS와 연계되어 개발되었다. 본 연구는 3.4$\textrm{km}^2$의 소농경지 배수구역에 대하여 적용하였다. 지하수위에 대한 타일 시스템의 영향이 DEM 모형과 Laplace식에 의해서 효과적으로 고려 될 수 있었다. 본 연구결과, 타일 시스템을 고려한 유역은 타일 시스템을 고려하지 않은 경우와 비교하여 높은 포화도를 가지고 있는 것으로 나타났으며, 예측된 riparian 유역은 실제의 유역조건과 잘 일치되고 있었다. 본 연구에서는 지형지수를 산정함에 있어 타일 시스템의 효과를 고려해야 함을 제안하였다.

지역의 탄소중립 전략을 위한 정주 및 생산공간에서의 탄소배출 특성 분석 -경상남도 지역을 대상으로- (Regional Carbon Emissions Analysis in Settlement and Production Space for Local Government Polices - Focused on Gyeongsangnam Province -)

  • Local governments play a critical role in achieving carbon neutrality and reducing national carbon emissions. To manage carbon emissions effectively, it is essential for local governments to analyze regional carbon emissions. In this study, we developed a model for estimating carbon emissions based on land use and analyzed regional characteristics of carbon emissions to suggest policies for achieving carbon neutrality at the regional level. Our model for calculating carbon emissions is based on an analysis of the activities that contribute to carbon emissions for each land use, and we established the spatial scope of carbon emission calculation. We applied this model to the cities and counties in Gyeongsangnam province, calculating carbon emissions from settlement and agricultural production activities and comparing regional characteristics of carbon emissions. Our analysis showed that areas with larger populations generally produced higher emissions in all categories, but we observed different results in terms of unit emissions, emissions divided by area, population, and household. Based on these findings, we propose policies such as increasing the generation of new and renewable energy using public institutions, promoting the conversion to cleaner cooking and heating energy sources, and encouraging the adoption of eco-friendly automobiles on roads. We believe that our analysis of the spatial and regional characteristics of carbon emissions can help local governments establish effective policies for reducing carbon emissions in their regions.

Computer나 Calculator를 이용한 계산에서 오류 교정을 위한 어림셈 지도에 관한 연구

  • This is a study on an instruction of estimation for error correction in the calculation with a computer or a calculator. The aim of this study is to survey a new aspect of calaulation teaching and the teaching strategy of estimation and finally to frame a new curriculum model of estimation instruction. This research required a year and the outcomes of the research can be listed as follows: 1. Social utilities of estimation were made clear, and a new trend of calculation teaching related to estimation instruction was shown. 2. The definition of estimation was given and actual examples of conducting an estimation among pupils in lower grades were given for them to have abundant experiences. 3. The ways of finding estimating values in fraction and decimal fraction were presented for the pupils to be able to conduct an estimation. 4. The following contents were given as a basic strategy for estimation. 1) Front-end strategy 2) Clustering strategy 3) Rounding strategy 4) Compatible numbers strategy 5) Special numbers strategy 5. In an instuction of estimation the meaning, method. and process of calculation and calculating algorithm were reviewed for the cultivation of children's creativity through promoting their basic skill, mathematical thinking and problem-solving ability. 6. The following contents were also covered as an estimation strategy for measurement 1) Calculating the sense of quantity on the size of unit. 2) Estimating the total quantity by frequent repetition of unit quantity. 3) Estimating the length and the volume by weighing. 4) Estimating unknown quantity based on the quatity already known. 5) Estimating the area by means of equivalent area transformation. 7. The ways of instructing mental computation were presented. 8. Reviews were made on the curricular and the textbook contents concerning estimation instructions both in Korea and Japan. and a new model of curriculum was devised with reference to estimation instruction data of the United States.

  • 본 연구에서는 태풍 "매미" 당시 해일로 인해 가장 큰 피해를 입었던 마산만 지역을 중심으로 태풍모형을 재현하여 이때 발생하는 최고극조위를 계산한 후 실제 최고극조위와의 비교분석을 실시하고 또한 최고극조위에 따른 최대범람구역을 산정하여 실제 범람구역과 비교분석함으로 태풍모형의 정확도를 분석하여 향후 태풍모형에 따른 조위 변화등을 예측함으로써 안정적인 항만구조물설계가 이루어 질 수 있도록 필요한 기초 자료를 제공하는데 연구목적이 있다.

Algorithm to Estimate Oil Spill Area Using Digital Properties of Image

  • Oil spill accidents at sea result in a wide range of damages, including the destruction of ocean environments and ecosystems, as well as human illnesses by the generation of harmful gases caused by phase changes in crude oil. When an oil spill occurs, an immediate initial action should be performed to minimize the potential damage. Existing studies have attempted to identify crude oil spillage by calculating the crude oil spill range using synthetic aperture radar (SAR) satellite images. However, SAR cannot capture rapidly evolving events because of its low acquisition frequency. Herein, an algorithm for estimating an oil spill area from an image obtained using a digital camera is proposed. Noise that may occur in the image when it is captured is first eliminated by preprocessing, and then the image is analyzed. After analyzing the characteristics of the digital image, a strategy to binarize an image using the color, saturation, or lightness contained in it is adopted. It is found that the oil spill area can be readily estimated from a digital image, allowing for a faster analysis than any conventional method. The usefulness of the oil spill area measurement was confirmed by applying the developed algorithm to various oil spill images.
