Flyash-$Ca(OH)_2-CaSO_4$.$2H_2O$계의 수화반응 (The Hydration of Hardenced Flyash-$Ca(OH)_2-CaSO_4$.$2H_2O$ System)

  • The hydration of flyash-$Ca(OH)_2-CaSO_4$.$2H_2O$ system was stuedied with varing mixing ratio of flyahs $Ca(OH)_2$ and caSO4.2H2O The samples were steam-cured for 1-7 days at 9$0^{\circ}C$. The optimum mixing composition was flyash : Ca (OH)2=65:35 with 15% $CaSO_4$.42H_2O$ added which produced the hardened material having the best compressive strength (300kg/$cm^2$) Also the low specific gravity(1, 2) of the hardened paste suggests the possibility that it can be used as a light-weight building material. The added $CaSO_4$.42H_2O$ constituted calcium-sulfo-aluminate hydrates which activates the formation of C-S-H hy-drates. Both hydrates developed the strength of hardened paste. The amount of calcium-sulfo-aluminate hydrates was increased when the $CaSO_4$.42H_2O$ was added over 15% however the increased amount did not help the development of strength because of the individually grown calcium-sulfo-aluminate hydrates.

농도에 따른 알긴산 아연칼슘 필름의 제조 및 항균성 (Preparation and Antimicrobial of Zinc Calcium Alginate Films according to Concentration)

  • 7 wt% alginate를 용액상태로 제조한 후 필름 메이커를 이용하여 필름 형태로 만든 후 3, 5 wt%의 $ZnCl_2$, $CaCl_2$ 수용액에 필름을 고화시킨 후 수세하여 상온에서 건조시켜 zinc calcium alginate 복합필름을 제조하였다. 필름의 특성을 조사하기 위하여 항균성, 수용해도, 팽윤도 및 점도, SEM, EDS 분석 등을 측정하였다. Zinc calcium alginate 복합필름은 $ZnCl_2$, $CaCl_2$ 함량이 증가할수록 용해저항성은 증가하였으며, 항균성 시험 결과, zinc alginate 필름뿐만 아니라 calcium alginate 필름에서도 두 균주(포도상구균, 대장균) 모두 우수한 항균력을 확인하였으며, 본 연구를 통해 복합필름의 물성개선의 가능성을 확인하였다.

  • For the preparation of calcium carbonate particles from aqueous $Ca(OH)_2$ slurry, carbonation reaction of aqueous $Ca(OH)_2$ slurry was carried out by batch method the $CO_2$ into reactor filled with aqueous slurry of $Ca(OH)_2$. The concentration of $Ca(OH)_2$ varies from 1.00 to 7.00wt%, reactor temperature at 20 and $40^{\circ}C$, and reactor pressure from atmospheric pressure to $6.0kg_f/cm^2$. Crystal structure of calcium carbonate was of calcite, the particle size were about $0.05{\sim}2.0{\mu}m$, and the particle shape was cubic and spindle. When reactor temperature was higher, particle size of calcium carbonate was bigger and particle shape was varied, but reaction rate was increased. When reactor pressure was higher, particle size of calcium carbonate was smaller, particle shape was cubic, and reaction rate was increased.

칼슘 존재하에서 인산과 구연산업이 분리대두단백질의 유화 안정성에 미치는 영향 (Effect of Phosphate and Citrate Salts on the Emulsion Stability of Soy Protein Isolate in the Presence of Calcium)

  • The effect of phosphate salt (NafHP04) and sodium citrate on the emulsion stability of soy protein isolate (SPI) in the presence of calcium was investigated in terms of salt concentration and addition order. Both phosphate and citrate salts decreased the solubility of SPI despite their pH enhancing effects. Addition of calcium chloride (CaCl2) significantly decreased ES, which showed nearly negligible at more than 3 mM CaCl2 concentration. When Na2HP04 were added in the presence of 5 mM Cac12, 55 greatly increased up to 20mM concentration, above which however ES decreased. It was found that the addition order of Na2HPO4 and CaCl2 affected ES. The addition of phosphate and subsequent CaCl2 exhibited the higher 55 than the reverse order. In both cases, the overall ES profile was found to be nearly similar to the solubility profile of SPI, indicating the positive relationship between solubility and emulsion stability of SPI in the presence of calcium. Similar trend to the phosphate effect on ES was also observed for sodium citrate in the presence of calcium.

Evaluation of Salt, Microbial Transglutaminase and Calcium Alginate on Protein Solubility and Gel Characteristics of Porcine Myofibrillar Protein

  • Response surface methodology was adopted to model and optimize the effects of microbial transglutaminase (TG) and calcium alginate (CA) systems of various ratios on the gelation characteristics of porcine myofibrillar protein (MP) at various salt levels. The CA system consisting of sodium alginate (SA), calcium carbonate (CC) and glucono-$\delta$-lactone (GdL) showed no remarkable changes in the salt-soluble fraction, and only minor effects on electrostatic interactions were observed. Increasing CA concentration caused acid-induced hydrophobic interactions in MPs, resulting in increased MP gel strength. The TG system, containing TG and sodium caseinate (SC), induced cold-set MP gelation by formation of covalent bonding. The main advantage of the combined system was a higher cooking yield when the MP gel was heated. These results indicated that 0.7% TG combined with 0.8% CA system can form a viscoelastic MP gel, regardless of salt levels.

절임배추의 품질 유지에 미치는 칼슘제제의 효과 (Effect of Calcium Treatments on Storage Quality of Salted Chinese Cabbage)

  • Salted Chinese cabbage were dipped in solutions of CaCl2 (0.1%, 0.5%, 1.0%), Ca-lactate (0.5%) alone, or with chlorine (NaOCl 200ppm) and stored at 3 or 23$^{\circ}C$ to determine the effects of calcium (Ca) on storage quality. pH change and microbial growth of salted cabbage were reduced in CaCl2 of 0.1% and 1.0% more than in the water-dipped control but better than in NaOCl treatment at two temperatures. Storage quality of salted cabvage was not affected by Ca contents or Ca with Cl treatment.

기초식품군중(基礎食品群中).제사군(第四群)(칼슘급원(給源)) 연구(硏究) (A Study on Fourth Group of Basic Food Groups(Source of Calcium))

  • 한국도시인(韓國都市人)의 식이(食餌) 가운데 Ca 급원식이(給源食餌)의 1일섭취량(日攝取量) 및 실제 섭취(攝取)되고 있는 1일(日) Ca 량(量)을 기초조사(基礎調査)하기 위하여 부산(釜山) 전(全) 산역(山域)에 있는 7개구(個區)의 아파트군(群) 가운데 165가구(家口)를 대상(對象)으로 Ca급원식이(給源食餌)의 종류(種類), 섭취량(攝取量), Ca 함량(含量), 조리법(調理法)등을 조사(調査)하였던 바 다음과 같은 결과(結果)를 얻었다. 1. Ca 섭취대상(攝取對象)으로는 멸치와 우유를 주로 섭취하고 있으며 1일(日) Ca급원식품중(給源食品中)의 Ca함량(含量)은 195.06mg으로서 권장량에 상당히 미달(未達)되고 있다. 2. 멸치는 통째 먹는 경우보다 용출시키거나 뼈부분(部分)을 제거(除去)하고 섭취한다. 3. 뱅어포, 새우는 사용빈도가 많지 않았다. 4. 사골은 $5{\sim}6$시간 정도(程度) 용출시켜 섭취하고 있으나 용출시간이 길수록 Ca 용출량이 많았다. 5. 그밖의 생선(生鮮)은 Ca 급원(給源)이라 인정(認定)되는 뼈부분(部分)의 섭취가 거의 안되고 있으므로 뼈를 먹는 조리방법(調理方法)이 개선(改善)되어야 하겠으며 뼈와 동시에 조리(調理)를 하여 결국은 먹지 않음으로해서 버려지는 조미료의 손실도 함께 막아야 될 것 같다. 6. Ca 은 체내흡수(體內吸收)가 용이(容易)하지 않으므로 흡수효과(吸收效果)도 고려한 식품선택(食品選擇) 및 방법(方法)이 권장되어야 하겠다.

Effects of High Dietary Calcium and Fat Levels on the Performance, Intestinal pH, Body Composition and Size and Weight of Organs in Growing Chickens

  • The effect of fat supplementation of high calcium (Ca) diets on the performance, intestinal pH, body composition and size and weight of organs in growing chickens were investigated in two experiments. Growing chickens tolerated a high dietary level of Ca (22.5 vs 12.1 g/kg) in the presence of 6.3 g/kg of available phosphorus without any significant effect on performance. Intestinal pH was significantly increased by the addition of excess Ca and fat which probably created the right pH for the formation of insoluble Ca soaps. Excess dietary Ca increased carcass linoleic acid concentration at the expense of palmitic and stearic acid contents, whilst the addition of sunflower oil (80 g/kg diet) to the diet increased carcass linoleic acid concentration at the expense of palmitic acid content of the carcass. Intestinal and visceral organ size and weight were not influenced by excess Ca or fat. However, there was a non significant increase in the intestinal dry weight per unit of length caused by excess dietary Ca. It was concluded that excess dietary Ca of 22.5 g/kg did not significantly influence the performance of meat chickens. However, excess Ca increased intestinal pH and altered carcass fatty acid composition. Fat supplementation did not alter intestinal pH with high Ca diets. Excess dietary fat altered carcass fatty acid composition and reduced protein content. Intestinal and visceral organ size and weights were not influenced by excess dietary levels of Ca of fat.

Dissociative adsorption and self-assembly of $CaF_2$ on the Si(001)-$4^{\circ}$ off surface

  • Depositing $CaF_2$[0.6% lattice-mismatch] on the Si(001)-$4^{\circ}$ off surface [composed of a single (001) domain with regularly-arrayed double-layer DB steps and located between (1 1 19) and (1 1 21)] held at $700^{\circ}C$, $CaF_2$ molecules are preferentially adsorbed on the dimers and dissociated to Ca and F atoms. Dissociated Ca atoms form a silicide layer of a $2{\times}3$ structure on the (001) terrace, while F atoms are desorbed from the surface. Once the terrace is covered with a calcium silicide layer, CaF starts to be adsorbed selectively on the steps, as shown in Fig. (a). With $CaF_2$ deposition exceeding 1 ML, the (1 1 17) surface having 1-D $CaF_2$ nanodots are formed as shown in Fig. (b). By the present STM study, it has been clearly disclosed that the calcium silicide interfacial layer is preformed prior to adsorption of $CaF_2$ on vicinal Si(001) surface.

레반의 혈장지질 감소와 칼슘흡수율 증가 효과 (The Effects of Levan on Blood Lipids and the Absorption of Calcium in Rats Fed a Low Calcium Diet)

  • 본 연구에서는 레반의 경구 투여가 혈중 지질 및 체내 칼슘대사에 미치는 영향을 검토하고자 0.1% 칼슘제한식이를 섭취하는 흰쥐를 대상으로 각각 식이무게의 2.5%와 5% 수준의 레반을 8주간 투여하면서 대사실험을 수행하였으며 그 결과는 다음과 같다. 체중 증가량은 대조군(C)에 비하여 5% 레반을 섭취한 군에서 감소하였으며 신장의 무게는 대조군에 비하여 레반 섭취군에서 유의적으로 높았으나 간무게는 차이가 없었다. 레반의 섭취는 맹장 내용물을 유의적으로 증가시켰으며 5%레반 섭취시 맹장조직의 무게가 유의적으로 증가하였다. 혈장 triacylglycerol과 LDL-cholesterol은 대조군에 비하여 5% 레반 섭취군에서 유의적으로 감소하였으나 AI에는 차이가 없었다. 혈장 alkaline phosphatase (ALP)와 뇨중 hydroxnproline(HP) 배설량, 혈장 칼슘 농도, 체중에 대한 대퇴골 무게 비는 레반 섭취로 변화되지 않았다. 그러나 5% 레반 섭취군의 변 중 칼슘 배설량은 대조군에 비하여 유의적으로 적었으며 칼슘 흡수율은 높았다. 레반섭취군의 뇨 칼슘 배설량과 칼슘 보유량(Ca retention)은 대조군과 차이가 없었다. 본 연구의 결과로 보아 수용성 식이섬유인 레반은 혈장 지질 개선효과와 칼슘 흡수율 증가 등의 유익한 생리적 특성을 보이므로 다이어트와 정장 기능성 소재로 뿐만 아니라 심순환계 질환의 예방과 골 대사 개선용 기능성식품 소재로의 활용도 가능할 것으로 보인다.
