Angle resolved photoemission spectroscopy (ARPES) is a powerful technique which can directly visualize the electronic structure of solid in detail including many-body interaction information. However, ARPES has a certain limitation in applying control parameters such as doping or pressure, which helps to dig out the clue to understand the desired phenomena or the target system. During ARPES experiment, the control parameter is the temperature only. Other parameters especially electric- and magnetic- field cannot be applied. Recently introduced surface-electron doping technique highlights new avenue to overcome such limitation. In this article, starting from introducing basic concepts of ARPES and its current status, the power of new technique will be demonstrated when it is combined to ARPES by introducing recent results on iron based superconductors.

In deterministic design of feedback controllers for uncertain dynamical systems, the bound on the uncertainty is an important clue to guarantee the asymptotic stability or uniform ultimate boundedness of the closed-loop system. In this paper, using only the measurable output we propose an adaptation law for the estimation of the bound of the uncertainty. And based on this adaptation law an adaptive control which renders the uncertain dynamical systems uniformly ultimately bounded is constructed.

It is generally understood that protein-protein interactions proceed via transient encounter complexes that rapidly evolve into the functional stereospecific complex. Direct detection and characterization of the encounter complexes, however, been difficult due to their low population and short lifetimes. Recent application of NMR paramagnetic relaxation enhancement first visualized the structures of the encounter complex ensemble, and allowed the characterization of their physicochemical properties. Further, rational protein mutations that perturbed the encounter complex formation provided a clue to the target search pathway during protein-protein association. Understanding the structure and dynamics of encounter complexes will provide useful information on the mechanism of protein association.

Overhead transmission lines in domestic area have been built by several different design standards of dip and ground clearance. This paper describes an experimental study for evaluating load capacity and dip margin in overhead transmission lines. Such design standards for selection of overhead transmission conductors, dip and ground clearance, as well as electrical equipment technical standard are discussed. Based on daily load and weather data, several characteristics such as line utilization factor, load factor, conductor temperature and dip, etc. are analyzed, and compared with the specified levels of design standards. As a result, it is verified that DLR method can be a clue of the solving of the problem, for occurring in old transmission conductors which may be rarely operating below standards.

Names attributed to villages varies from governmental administrative division to simple modest names called from the habitants. Actually, scarce names only called from the habitants remains today. While these names reflect abundant cultural, social and historical aspects we made this research based on those nominations related only to Korean traditional medicine(KTM). We could find that the most KTM related village name was famine relieve or/and medicinal plant designation like Puerariae village. Also there was names of doctors like Dasan. Another big portion was from the medicinal mineral waters like Yakbawegol which said has the properties for dermatologic desease. We suggest this study may use as a clue in the field of KTM history research.

Schizophrenics suffer not only psychotic symptoms but also cognitive deficits such as an attentional difficulty, memory impairment, poor abstraction, etc. These cognitive abnormalities have been reported to be significantly related to the social and occupational outcome in schizophrenia. Thus, it is important to explore the cause and pathophysiology for the cognitive abnormalities in patients with schizophrenia. In this regard, hippocampus is one of the most promising brain areas to search for the clue because it is closely involved in memory related function. In fact, during the past several decades, there have been extensive studies supporting hippocampal abnormalities as a cause of schizophrenia in both clinical and preclinical field. In this review, basic anatomical knowledge about hippocampus and major findings of preclinical and clinical studies which investigated the correlation between schizophrenia and hippocampus were highlighted. The contents are 1) anatomical structure of hippocampus, 2) neuronal pathway and receptor distribution in hippocampus, 3) function of hippocampus, 4) hippocampal animal model for schizophrenia, 5) hippocampus-related studies on antipsychotic drugs, and 6) clinical studies in hippocampus in patients with schizophrenia.

This study intends to analyze the various spatial structures of the Seoul city museum with reference to the layouts and the qualitative mode of exhibition items. Understanding the way of actual exhibition design can be a clue to understand the contents of exhibition story which guarantees to make the pertinent space and visitors route organization between different levels of architectural space and exhibition space. The basic methodological ideas of this study are as follows; 1) Systematic analysis about the characteristics of exhibits, historic context, and hierachy of each thematic zone. 2) Analysis of physical combination of object spatial cell in the view of visitors circulatiov. As an actual example History zone (1F), Life and Culture zone(2F), City zone(2F) in the museum are analyzed and examined

This study aims at the examination of the characteristics of sectional design by Raumplan through the analysis of his 12 houses in which his architectural design concept is clearly showed. The analysis proceeded through 12 sectional drawings, because of Raumplan is originated from the spatial concept which is dividing spaces with various differences of horizontal level. Through this investigation, three characteristics of sectional design by Raumplan which is to present : 1) Free horizontal variation by different level 2) Spatial division by splitted wall 3) Horizontal & vertical refraction of viewpoint & movement These characteristic seems like to including his intention to put into the various human behaviour in residence, it can be spatial clue to solve existential experience of 'homelessness' which is one of the biggest problems of modern times.

This paper is to find out and analyse the factors of customer satisfaction as the critical success factors of internet banking. The research model with the factors influencing customer satisfaction is suggested. The result of this research are summarized as follows: First, perceived easy of use, perceived usefulness, perceived safety, and perceived responsibility have significantly positive influence on customer satisfaction. Second, customer satisfaction has significantly positive influence on intention of reuse and canvass. These research findings suggest the clue about making internet banking successful.

The technologies in medical electronic implant(MEI) devices are developing rapidly, and already, there are various kinds of the MEI devices in the current medical equipments market. Recently, the global market scale of MEI devices have been increased about 13% year by year, and the import amount of MEI devices in Korea is increasing rapidly. In the near future, the demands of MEI devices will be magnificently increasing by the continuous development of the biomedical electronics devices which coupled with neural, brain and other organs will bring us to tremendous effects, such as providing new therapeutic solutions to patients, extension and saving human life, and an important clue of medical development. However, the investment of the research and the activity of developments in this field are still very weak in the Korea. Consequently, this paper introduces about the research trends of MEI devices, and technological problems those must be solved, and then concludes with the suggestions in order to be the leading country in this field.
