The aim of this paper is to explore and understand the gifted student's characteristics such as NetLogo programming patterns, attitudes, his/her interest in problems solving. Based on transcripts and coding video frames, we explored the meaningful scenes to come up with thinking patterns, NetLogo programming patterns, attitudes, behaviors on tasks such as drawing regular starlike shapes. This case study contrasts with two other students revealing their unique characteristics both in computational thinking patterns and coding activities. The participant reveals his own ways of finding a clue and elaborating it further for coming up with concise NetLogo coding. This paper provides cross-case discussion and future research direction on how to improve gifted education in terms of problem solving in creative ways.

Wittgenstein declares in the Tractatus Logico-Philosophicus that he resolved Russell's Paradox. According to him, a function cannot be its own argument. If we assume that a function F(fx) can be its own argument, a proposition "F(F(fx))" will be given, where the outer function F has a meaning different from the inner function F. In consequence, "F(F(fx))" will not be able to have a definite sense. Why, however, does Wittgenstein call into question a function F(fx) and "F(F(fx))"? To answer this question, we must examine closely Russell's own resolution of Russell's Paradox. Only when we can understand Russell's resolution can we do Wittgenstein's resolution. In particular, I will endeavor to show that the idea in Wittgenstein's 1913 letter to Russell provides a decisive clue for this problem.

The traffic accident reports that are generated by the Traffic Broadcasting Networks(TBN) are unstructured data. It, however, has the value as some sort of real-time traffic information generated by the viewpoint of the drives and/or pedestrians that were on the roads, the time and spots, not the offender or the victim who caused the traffic accidents. However, the traffic accident reports, which are big data, were not applied to traffic accident analysis and traffic related research commonly. This study adopting text-mining technique was able to provide a clue for utilizing it for the impacts of traffic accidents. Seven years of traffic reports were grasped by this analysis. By analyzing the reports, it was possible to identify the road names, accident spot names, time, and to identify factors that have the greatest influence on other drivers due to traffic accidents. Authors plan to combine unstructured accident data with traffic reports for further study.

Purpose : The purpose of this study was to analyze setter toss motion kinematically according to toss types. Method : Dependent variables were elapsed time, vertical displacement of the body center, the projected speed of the ball, and differences of the joint angle to the target for four setters positioning. Result : There was no significant difference in the time but the ball contact time was shorter when the toss distance of P3 was longer. There was significant difference in the vertical displacement of COM (p<.05). The vertical displacement of COM showed that the vertical movement gradually decreased when the quick distance was longer. The vertical displacement of COM was difference (p<.05), also there was difference of the ball speed (p<.001) at the Release point(E4). There was significant difference in the knee joint angle at a certain moment among the Release(E4) and Landing point(E5)(p<.05). The hip joint was significant difference among the Apex(E2), Ball Touch(E3), Release(E4), and the Landing point(E5) on the surface(E2, E3, E4 p<.05; E5 p<.005). The shoulder angle was significant difference among the Ball Touch(E3), Release(E4) and the Landing point(E5) on the surface(E3, E4 p<.05; E5 p<.001). The elbow was significant difference in the Apex(E2) (p<.05). The wrist was significant difference in the Release(E4) (p<.05). Conclusion : If we find the clue to expect the direction of the setter's ball, we have to fine the clues in the Apex(E2) that hip join and elbow, Ball Touch(E3) that hip joint and shoulder joint, Release(E4) that wrist, elbow, hip joint, and knee joint.

The application of mindfulness is increasing in corporation for business innovation. However, the influence of mindfulness has not been confirmed for employee in detail. Mindfulness is the awareness that arises from paying attention in the present. We often experience uncertainty abounds about what the information technology is, how well it works in the process of using information technology. According to the definition of mindfulness, mindfulness can deepen employee's thoughts and understanding of information technology and will provide a clue to the solution of the issue. This study focusses on impact of mindfulness on IT usage behavior, particularly on IT continuance usage. Research question of this study is whether mindfulness impact perceived factors related to IT continuance usage. The study of relationship between IT and mindfulness will have meaningful results because both IT and Mindfulness are aimed at corporate innovation. Based on most recent theory in IT continuance usage, called by Decomposed Expectation-Disconfirmation Model, we established hypotheses and examined the impact of mindfulness on perceived factors in process of IT continuance usage. For empirical analysis, we collected 303 employee samples and conducted Structural Equation Modeling for path analysis. We showed that mindfulness has a positive impact on perceived usefulness, usability and usefulness confirmation, usability confirmation. We also confirmed that antecedent of satisfaction is perceived usefulness, perceived usability and usefulness confirmation, usability confirmation, and satisfaction is the cause of IT continuance usage. We suggested academic and practical implication based on empirical analysis results. In academic perspective, we found the role of mindfulness in process of IT continuance usage. From practical point of view, we suggest to use of mindfulness program for IT continuance usage in corporation.

Following after the Chernobyl accident. the response to the large scale nuclear accidents became a clear example to show how these accidents affect the public information that strongly depend on political, economical, and social factors. Futhermore, in present day although we live in the era of various information, as far as the problem of nuclear is concerned, the acceptance of the source of Information is always apt to limited. Therefore, in this investigations, as a case study, an attempt is to make the method of minimizing and a preparation to cope with the grope of countermeasure for psychologically unsettled and disordered problems that accepted from both of the unconfirmed and of the exaggerated circumstantial report of mass media as well as a clue to the probability under the condition of existence of major and minor nuclear accidents. In the present paper, it also intends to establish the terminology that covered all the part of nuclear field use in a writing guideline to the scientific column of nuclear accident as shown in the table. and several methodology in relation to the report tendency of mass communication in nuclear accident and the standpoint of public acceptance from a intrinsic point of view are discussed.

The principal significance of the urothelial changes caused by polyomavirus activation is in an erroneous diagnosis of urothelial cancer; however, the clue to their benign nature is the smooth structureless nuclear configuration and the relative paucity of affected cells. Though virologic studies and electron microscopy are usually needed to firmly establish the diagnosis, cytology is the most readily available and rapid means of establishing a presumptive diagnosis of human polyomavirus infection. A urine specimen of a 24-year-old man with hemorrhagic cystitis beginning two months after bone marrow transplantation for acute myeloblastic leukemia(M2) was submitted for cytologic evaluation. Cytologic findings revealed a few inclusion-bearing epithelial cells intermingled with erythrocytes, neutrophils, lymphocytes, and macrophages. Most of the inclusion-bearing fells had large, round to ovoid nuclei almost completely filled with homogeneous dark, basophilic inclusion. The chromatin was clumped along the periphery and the cytoplasm was mostly degenerated. The other cells exhibited irregular inclusions attached to the nuclear membrane surrounded by an indistinct halo. These findings were consistent with polyomavirus infection.

This study investigated what kind of informal knowledge is emergent and what role informal knowledge play in process of solving 2-digit by 2-digit multiplication task. The data come from 4 times interviews with a 3th grade student who had not yet received regular school education regarding 2-digit by 2-digit multiplication. And the data involves the student's activity paper, the characteristics of action and the clue of thinking process. Findings from these interviews clarify the child's informal knowledge to modeling strategy, doubling strategy, distributive property, associative property. The child formed informal knowledge to justify and modify her conjecture of the algorithm.

This paper is an attempt to find/make an entrance to John Hejduk's architecture. Based explicitly on both Karl Popper's model of knowledge production called 'conjecture and refutation' and Harold Bloom's theory of poetry called 'revisionism', this paper, in order to produce a new problem, mainly deals with an existing knowledge as an object to refute, that is, Michael Hays' interpretation of Wall House by Jacques Lacan's notion of the gaze, Hejduk's a pivotal architectural finding. The arguments underlying this paper are two: First, Hejduk, just like this paper, follows Popper's model and Bloom's theory in conducting his own architectural research. Secondly, he takes what might be called artist's attitude when absorbing previous knowledge and producing new one. These two arguments are made in the first part and then served as a basic propositions for further arguments. In the process of criticizing the way in which Hays explicates Hejduk's Wall House, this paper reaches two main arguments. First, Lacan's notion of the gaze is not proper specifically for the explication of it. However, it may be useful and even promising when dealing with other works such as Subject/Object and House of the Inhabitant Who Refused to Participate. Secondly, Freud's notion of 'uncanny', arguably Hejduk's strong architectural orientation, may serve much better as a main gate among possibly many ones in trying to open his architecture. It is considered that this might also serve as an important clue to solving mysticism remaining yet untouched in his architecture.

The KMRR 4-wheel crane which has a span of 30.6m long shall be designed to maintain its structural integrity during and after seismic shocks. Horizontal and vertical FRS for OBE and SSE conditions at the crane support are after seismic shock. Horizontal and vertical FRS for analysis are 4% for OBE and 7% for SSE. The crane consists of girder, saddle main and auxiliary trolley, and necessaries. They are modeled as beam elements and lumped masses for the following 4 cases ; trolley at center of the crane with and without the rated load, trolley at end with and without the rated load. The static analysis as well as the linear dynamic analysis including frequency and response spectrum analysis are performed for the seismic qualification of the crane using the Finite Element Method. For the simplicity of the analysis, the decoupling criteria are considered for the crane rope and the crane supporting beams. The main sections of the crane are stiffened until the calculated stresses satisfy the allowable limits. The seismic resultant loads are used to design the seismic restraints of the saddle and the trolley to protect the clue from the seismic uplifting loads the study results have show that the seismic design of the KMRR crane is governed by the OBE condition. not by the SSE condition. This paper briefly describes the analysis procedure used in the seismic design of the KMRR crane, and summarizes the analysis results.
