Reconsideration of Positive Psychological Capital and the 21st century Political Leadership Using Causal Loop Analysis (인과지도 분석을 통한 긍정심리자본과 21세기 정치리더십의 재고찰)

  • The main purpose of this research is to introduce PsyCap(Positive Psychological Capital) and new leadership helping ordinary people to create positive thinking and leading to social integration in South Korea. Additionally, by looking at conventional leadership theories and by applying the PsyCap to leadership based on causal loop analysis, this study is to seek new approach which political leader is able to communicate with the people and can help the people to build positive mine. Throughout this study, there are several important implications how political leader can lead to social integration and stable political development in South Korea. In particular, when political leader encourage the people to have confidence to take on and put in the necessary effort to succeed at challenging tasks, when political leader make the people a positive attribution (optimism) about succeeding now and in the future, when political leader help the people to persevere toward goals and redirection paths to goals (hope) in order to succeed, and when political leader make the people beset by problems and adversity environment to overcome these concerns, it can be expected political leader to build social integration and the people to create positive thinking which has been emphasized by political leader in South Korea. Finally, 21st century has required new political leadership that the people are able to make positive psychological capital composed by optimism, hope, confidence, and resilience.

Synthesis and Curing Behaviors of Polyisoimide Oligomers with Ethynyl End Groups (Ethynyl 말단기를 갖는 Polyisoimide 올리고머의 합성 및 이들의 경화거동에 관한 연구)

  • Acetylenic or phenylethynyl end-capped polyisoimide oligomers ($M_w$ 2500 g/mol, 5000 g/mol) based upon 4,4'-diamino diphenyl ether (4,4'-ODA)/4,4'-oxydiphthalic anhydride (ODPA) and 4,4'-ODA/3,3',4,4'-benzophenone tetracarboxylic acid dianhydride (BTDA) were synthesized by using 4-ethynylaniline (4-EA) or 4-phenylethynyl phthalic anhydride (4-PEPA) as an end capper. The incorporation of ethynyl groups were confirmed by FTIR spectroscopy. The isomerization temperature was influenced by molecular weight as well as the backbone structure of polyisoimides oligomers. Thus, polyisoimide oligomers with molecular weight of 2500 g/mol was found to be imidized at temperature $10^{\circ}C$ lower than that for the oligomers with molecular weight of 5000 g/mol. The crosslinking reaction of ethynyl groups occurred at a higher temperature than that for the isoimide/imide isomerization reaction. These two reactions were totally or partially overlapped on the DSC thermograms for the polyisoimide oligomer end-capped with 4-EA. Kinetics of thermal imidization and crosslinking reactions for the 4,4'-ODA/ODPA polyisoimide oligomers end-capped with 4-PEPA were investigated by performing dynamic DSC experiments at heating rate of $10^{\circ}C/min$. The activation energy and pre-exponential factors were 141 kJ/mol and $1.45{\times}10^{13}min^{-1}$ for the imidization reaction and 177 kJ/mol and $2.90{\times}10^{13}min^{-1}$ for the crosslinking reaction, respectively.

The GRS80 Gravimetric Geoid from GEM9 Potential Coefficients and Terrestrial Gravity Anomalies in the South Korea Region (GEM9 위성자료와 지상자료의 조합에 의한 남한지역의 GRS80 중력지오이드)

  • The gravimetric geoid of the South Korea Region was computed on Geodetic Reference System 1980(GRS80) using a combination of satellite-derived potential coefficients and terrestrial gravaty data. $10^{\prime}{\times}10^{\prime}$ mean gravity anomalies were obtained from surface gravity data for the outer zones, $1^{\circ}{\times}1^{\circ}$ equal area mean anomalies were used for the inner zones, and point gravity anomalies were used for the innermost zones in the Stokes integration. The GRS80 potential coefficients were obtained from modification of GEM9 data and Integration was extended over a spherical cap of $30^{\circ}$ from the integration area. The results of a free-air geoid show that the systematic mean difference of approximately 2~3m in comparison of OSU89B model.

A study on Perception and Response Strategy of Korean Ship Owners on Global Sulphur Cap 2020 (황산화물(SOx) 배출 저감 규제에 대한 국적선사의 인식과 대응 전략에 관한 연구)

  • In this paper, to analyze the perception and response strategy of Korean ship owners on Global Sulphur Cap 2020, examined the IMO environmental regulation status focusing on MARPOL Annex VI regulation about air pollution prevention, technological measures to reduce SOx emission, shipping industry and management status of Korean ship owners. First of all, the questionnaire was conducted for Korean ship owners after selecting the evaluation factors. The purpose of this study was to investigate the difference of the perception and response strategy of Korean ship owners by corporation size and main vessel type using frequency and cross analysis. It is confirmed that various researches on SOx emission reduction have been carried out from various points of view at home and abroad. In this study, existing studies related to technical factors for regulatory response and economics analysis were examined and evaluation factors were selected. As a result of analysis, it is found that large-sized shipping companies are more prepared for regulatory response than small and medium-sized bulk carrier owners. There were similar perception and the direction of response strategy about the impacts by corporation size and main vessel type. In about two years to be implemented in 2020, It is necessary to find an appropriate response strategy based on the support policy of the government and related organizations and the systematic analysis of the ship owners. Through this study, although the difference between the perception and response strategy of the ship owners by corporation size and main vessel type was understood, it was found that there were limitations on specific response strategy and corporate data collection. In future research, we should overcome the limitations of this study and conduct an in-depth study.

A Study on the Soil Respiration in a Quercus acutissima Forest (상수리나무림의 토양호흡에 관한 연구)

  • Soil respiration and some environmental factors which affect soil respiration were studied in an oak forest, Kongju, Korea. Soil respiration was measured at midday of the 15th and 30th day at every month in control(Con), artificial forest gap (Gap) and litter removed area (Lr) with portable CO₂ Analyzer equipped soil respiration chamber. In July, maximum soil respiration in Con, Cap and Lr was 15.6, 11.2 and 7.7 CO₂μmol·m/sup -2/·s/sup -1/, respectively. Respiration in Gap and Lr decreased by 28.6% and 50.6%, respectively, compared with that in Con. Annual amount of soil CO₂ evolution from Con, Gap and Lr was 6.86, 5.84, 3.81 kg·m/sup -2/·yr/sup -1/, respectively. Annual amount of CO₂ evolution in Gap and Lr decreased by 14.8% and 44.5%, respectively, compared with that in Con. Soil respiration rates exponentially increased with temperature. Temperature of soil surface and at 5 cm depth was strongly related to soil respiration rates in Con (r₂=0.87, 0.93), Gap (r₂=0.81, 0.88) and Lr (r/sub 2/=0.89).

Identification of Quantitative Trait Loci(QTL) for Meat Color Trait on Chromosome 7 in Pig (돼지 7번 염색체에서 육색 연관 QTL 확인)

  • The objective of this study was to identify the quantitative traits loci(QTL) for meat quality traits in pigs. Three-generation resource population was constructed from a cross between Korean native boars and Landrace sows. The resource population including founders, $F_1$ and $F_2$ was genotyped for 23 microsatellite markers on chromosome 7. The sex average total length of linkage map on chromosome 7 was estimated 154.6 cM. Meat quality traits including meat pH, meat color, drip loss, shear force, heating loss, crude fat, crude protein, crude ash and water content in muscle were collected from $F_2$ animals. For the QTL mapping, we used $F_2$ QTL Analysis Servlet of QTL express for web-based QTL mapping tools(http://qtl.cap.ed.ac.uk/). The QTLs for CIE-a and CIE-b on SSC7 were significantly detected at 1% and 5% chromosome-wide level, respectively.

Effects of Various Ventilation Systems on the Carbon Dioxide Concentration and Fruiting Body Formation of King Oyster Mushroom (Pleurotus eryngii) Grown in Culture Bottles (새송이버섯 병재배에서 환기방법이 이산화탄소 농도 및 자실체형성에 미치는 영향)

  • In an attempt to establish the appropriate ventilation device for the bottle culture of king oyster mushroom (Pleurotus eryngii), we investigated carbon dioxide concentration and fruiting body formation according to the various ventilation systems within the mushroom house. In addition to, the efficiency of air circulation and growth rate as well as the appearance of physiologically abnormal phenotypes during their growth stage were also evaluated. four different ventilation devices, parallel-pressure type, positive-pressure type, negative-pressure type, and positive- and negative-pressure type were applied in this study. The positive-and negative-pressure type showed the highest efficiency of air circulation as $CO_2$ concentration was 800 ppm and the level of air current was relatively low compared to the other types (the $CO_2$ concentration of parallel-pressure type was 1,400 ppm). Moreover, the stipe length, the cap diameter, yield, and general quality grown in positive- and negative type ventilation device were also better than in the other three devices though it took slightly longer period for harvesting (18.4 days) than the others (17.6, 17.9 and 18.3 days). The appearance of physiologically abnormal phenotypes such as fruiting body lump, soft rot, and brown rot were significantly decreased in positive-and negative type compared to other types, while the appearance rates were not much different for other symptoms of bacterial ooze, stipe limb and stipe bumpy. In summary, we propose that the optimal ventilation system for the bottle culture of king oyster mushroom is positive- and negative type, and this device is expected to increase the total quality as well as yield all year around.
